First time visiting this location, loved the staff, very friendly and make you feel calm. There was not many people in today so I didn’t have to wait long either

I would highly recommend this facility. The staff was kind and quick. The place was clean and I also got results back quickly.

10/10 recommend for STD testing. The staff was hospitable, and the process was fast and easy.

These people literally never ever answer phones. Don’t bother calling, no one will ever answer. Sign up was easy. Not too long of a wait time. Staff kinda rude and like they hate being there. There was a black male nurse who took my blood and made me feel really uncomfortable. Before he took my blood he asked me to put my phone away bc he felt like i was recording him. Um i wasn’t? But that made me suspicious why he was paranoid. Then he told me to go to the bathroom next door for a urine test and there was a visible crack in the wall next to the metal flap compartment and I felt like he was watching me. I got really nervous and when I went back into the room he was in, he was right next to the metal compartment where the crack was and I just got this gut feeling that he was definitely watching me go to the bathroom. I was too afraid to say anything bc it was just me and him in the room and he’s a qualified nurse so I feel like if I DID say anything, everyone there (who are probably his friends too) would take his side over mine and completely disregard me.Also when you go to the back to do the rest of your testing, they do a questionare but it’s not private, it’s like in a hallway and I felt like people could hear me. They also don’t seem to care if people can hear :( luckily when I was there, there weren’t too many people there.The testing there is free though and results are fast which is why they’re getting 2 stars from me.

I have private insurance. My yearly cap is 62k. for 3 years in a row I have had to go off my meds because they put me on 6 months labs. the labs are very expensive and I cant afford it with my co-pays. They have me on 0 refills so every month I have to call and beg for my refill, but NO they will not give it to me unless I meet their demands. So.. today in April I am close to my cap and they demand that I get more labs after 7 months. I am off my meds as of today and they will not help me. I have like 87 dollars in my checking account and no meds for the foreseeable future... THANKS GUYS !! I get to start dying today...

I’ve been patient with AHF in Jacksonville for about 3years, They are very professional, clean and nit environment with friendly staffs. I appreciate very much.

State of the art clinic with LGBT friendly and amazingly kind people. I highly recommend it. Also quick and efficient FREE diagnosis and treatment. You get there, check in, get a number, get seen, tested, and you are out before you know it.

I’ve had many problems with planned parenthood and my own doctors office taking weeks or never following up with test results but with my first experience with AHF wellness center my screening was very quick and easy.They got me to set up a healthvana account with the computers they had in the waiting room. Set up for this account is extremely easily. Once my number was called in testing took no more than 20 minutes. The HIV test result was given to me before I left. The other test results came back within 3-4 days via text where it prompted me to go sign in on their healthvana account which I set up during my first visit. The healthvana mobile site is very user friendly, clean and organized. This place is very go in and get out so it may seem a bit sloppy and rushed but they kept their word when estimating when the results would come back, I never needed to call AHF to remind them or ask when my results would be finished. No appointment needed, no health insurance needed for screenings. 4 std tests including HIV was no money out of my pocket and hassle free.

They are only opened on testing days and that is a problem for people who are actually patients there . We can never get anyone to answer the phone ,They never send correct amount of medications , to get to see the doctor is a challenge . Yes the people are nice when we actually get to see them

OK so the wait is a little long but it is worth it the staff is very nice and kind and they only do the std testing for the first 40 people so it’s first come first serve

I come here but i wish this place could test for ALL stds. Thatll be awesome if they could.
