Awesome staff! I was able to get in quick and easy. The nurse that assisted me made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The doctor was super kind, considerate and knowledgeable. Overall great experience!

I was seen by the worst provider ever, I was tested with Covid positive, I asked her about Paxlovid and she didnt know about Paxlovid. Eventually, she did prescribe it .later that night I developed severe coughing, and she did not prescribe cough medicine. I called back today and asked her about that and she says no go to an emergency room. Worst medical appointment ever!

1st time visit and I wish i knew about AFC years ago. So easy and quick. Other clinics need to take notes from AFC and their staff. Very friendly and pleasurable experience. If youre renewing your DOT card definitely go to AFC

The front desk staff is amazing- so friendly and helpful, office is clean! So appreciative of the staff and Dianna for helping me! By far the best urgent care I have been too. Will be driving out of my way in the future if a visit is necessary.

The people who work here were great. From the front desk to the rooms in the back. Everyone was positive and knowledgeable. On a personal note, I get overwhelmed sometimes and I was having issues finding my insurance information. I believe the individuals at the front went well above their means to take care of that situation for me.

This urgent care is great. I went in for quite a severe problem with excruciating pain and Dr Jackson was extremely caring and offered the best course of treatment (despite the pain which was not his fault). He went above and beyond, and calmly explained all the medications to me and gave me a lot of advice. Def recommended :)

Jackson is a great provider! He’s very kind and helpful. My only problem here is the front desk staff. Specifically the older looking woman with black curly hair. This last month has been oddly hectic and required multiple visits, each time I had the discomfort of having her check me in. Her tone comes off as VERY rude, uncaring and annoyed like dealing with me was a chore regardless of how polite I am, especially when you hear her change it when a Caucasian or Latino person walks up. In the times I’ve been here I’ve heard her tone towards African Americans and it’s disappointing that in 2024 we’re hiring client facing people that have attitudes like this towards certain people, especially in healthcare.Along with this, apologizing that a system let you set an appointment that couldn’t be kept, would go a long way. Not just stating “I don’t think the doctor is going to have time or want to see you this close to the end of the day.” That response is not customer service at all. It’s outright rude, especially when you make it seem like doing your job is a chore. If it is a chore, customer facing jobs are not for you. In my 15+ years of customer facing work, if I did this I’d lose my job, but I see many reviews stating similar issues.One of the other times I visited I had tests completed, when I received a call with the results telling me everything was fine, I requested a referral for an issue that has since been verified. The office staff stated they would send it, I waited and called to see if they had done so after a week and was told they would. When my primary care doctor all the way in Seattle had to give me the referral, after having to wait for that appointment over a month and a half, just to hear from Swedish Urology that AFC had never sent it, was very scary, as I could have addressed the issue much sooner. Jackson again is the first urgent care doctor to go above and beyond. He had a real sense of worry and understanding when I explained the issue to him and he even offered to send the referral, until he heard it had been done by my primary, if not for him, this would have been a one star review.*Edited 05/07/2024*I just received a bill from them for an amount that was “not paid by insurance” for testing, which was never done, as I was told I had strep throat only to come back a week later to be told it was Mono and that no testing was fully done the first time. Patti was kind enough to provide me with a call and an apology for this as it was a miscommunication on a follow up being charged as a visit, as well as waiving the fee.

Excellent service. It took them about 5 mins to get me in the room. The doctor treated me and answered my questions. Then he referred me to a clinic for follow ups. 30 mins after I got out of AFC urgent care the referral clinic called me to set up an appointment. It’s nice to be helped by a team of professionals.

I was in and out of this AFC office quickly. The receptionist, Shanti, was extremely helpful during registration. I was unaware that each AFC is privately owned, as I use a local office at home in Denver. Excellent attention from the M.A. and physician (or P.A.).

This is a true definition of urgent care and caring staff. Who does whatever it takes to take care of you and get you back on your feet. I will recommend this facility above any other.

The front desk staff, nurse, and Dr Jackson were fantastic today. They were helpful and listened—didn’t rush me and put me at ease. I felt cared for which isnt always the case at urgent cares. Facilities were clean. Thanks! You are so appreciated!

Best place ever to get a dot physical. In and out in less than an hr. 150 bucks and they give you a card and fax the dot. Very friendly people. Thank you!

Dr. Lee really listened to my problem and asked good questions and offered novel new tests for potentially better treatment outcomes on this type of recurring condition. Very helpful.

Went in for a drug test and Diana got me in fast was nice and friendly and cute haha probably the whole thing took less then 10 min didn’t even wait that long . I forgot my id and she ran out and gave it to me . Overall recommend this place

I and my husband were here for our medical appointments with Dr. Sodhi. Karen did our blood work. She was very informative, kind and sweet. She made the whole experience very quick and easy for us. Dr. Sodhi gave us guidance on the next steps as we were a little lost and confused over the whole process. Both Karen and Dr. Sodhi went an extra step to help us!

Love this place, the experience here is very friendly, fast, and well-spoken. They get you in and put as soon as the other one is in. Didnt wait long. I highly recommend this place. All staff are Great. Thank you guys

It would be greatly beneficial to include the specific hours for pre-employment drug testing (8:00am-2:00pm) in your Google Maps service description. This would prevent individuals from wasting time by checking your regular service hours and arriving at the clinic only to find it closed for drug testing. Adding this detail would improve the accuracy and helpfulness of your Google Maps listing.

The Dr. was teally nice and seemed to genuinely care about my Grandson. The staff is atrocious at the desk. They cant be bothered with you and act like they are doing you a favor by even acknowledging your existence. My 8 year old Grandson had an ear ache. They called in the RX to North Carolina CVS, We are in Washington State, even though I wrote Benson Plaza Fred Meyer on the form with the phone number. That was 4 days ago still dont have the ear drops for my Grandson. Pharmacy called them and they have not responded. I called them again today, and again they act like they are doing you a favor by just answering the phone. And of course they said the pharmacy didnt call us. Ive used this pharmacy for 17 years they are very good and dont neglect their job. Ive used AFC once. There will not be a second time!

The medical staff was very kind and skilled. We didnt have to wait long at all to be seen. I appreciate this clinic. Its become our go to for any unexpected and urgent care need for the family.

The front office was kind and helpful. The MA was quick and very kind. The PA was friendly, quick and answered all my questions. He was very thorough and reassuring. Overall I had a fantastic experience considering how miserable I felt.

I was at the AFC American Family care - Urgent Care in Kent, WA today, 10/20/2023 at 1:50pm and received very bad customer service from the front desk and especially from Patty. I went for a Covid test, was asked to come inside and swab myself for the test, then go wait in my car for 10minutes for the results. Mind you, this is an urgent care, shouldn’t they swab me? Either way, I went to my car and waited patiently. 20 minutes later I go inside and I asked for the result and they told me it’s negative. I asked for a copy of the results and they said they’d email me. An hour later I called and they said they’re working on them as we speak and they will send them to me. It’s now 6:50pm and I still don’t have a copy of the results (which I need for logistic reasons). Horrible customer service and healthcare assistance. I do NOT recommend going here at all.

Also go here to get my DOT Physical Exams done. I send all my employees there and never a bad experience. I recommend this clinic to anyone that needs employee drug screens and physicals along with on the job injuries.

My daughter visited this Urgent Care when she was severely sick. They didn’t even bother to do blood work. They ran a throat culture and we still haven’t received test results back (over a week and several messages left - and mailbox is also full so you have to hope someone answers) The next day after she went to urgent care she checked herself into the ER where they called a code Sepsis. Now a week later she broke out in a head to toe rash and we still don’t know what bacteria she is dealing with. So hopefully someone can contact her on Monday 09/18/2023. And I would also like to add the receptionist sounds like she would rather be any where on the planet but answering phones for this urgent care. Which is also concerning because you don’t know if the doctors are getting the messages.

We held our daughters place in line but when we arrived they told us the care provider doesnt see babies. Not sure why they would allow us to make the appointment in the first place. Now I have a vomiting baby in the car and we have an estimated hour wait ahead of us at a different clinic in a different town.

This is hands down the worst place I have ever. The person at the desk could not be more rude and unprofessional. I made an appointment online entered all my ins info just to be told when I got to the office they do not take my ins. Why was my ins one of the options when it asks which ins I have?! My advice would be GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

Ok I dont know what all the 1 stars are being rated here but I totally disagree on that. I have been coming here for the last 3 years for my drug tests and I was never disappointed or upset. Anyways I came back there again today right upon opening time (8 am). I was the first patient there and was done less than 15 mins total. I didnt get the front desk ladys name but she was welcoming and friendly. Then the lady Diana Robles who processed my test was awesome too. Sidenote, it is better to come opening time if possible so you can avoid the big crowds and long wait periods. Overall I was happy with the service for today. Thank you AFC. 👍🙏

I am so impressed with this facility! I had a great experience with every person I came in contact with. Waiting room feels relaxed with lots of seating. Nurses are focused and friendly. What impressed me most was my interaction with the practitioner. She had a very positive energy, she was quick, thorough and honestly just made me feel well taken care of. Will most definitely come here in the future!!

The staff at AFC is great every time I go in for my appoiments inregards to L&I,Yoselin and Eli at the FD are great professional and always in great/happy mood and make me feel always comfertable and always help me making sure my appts are rin the timeline needed and if i get reffered out they help me anlld explain everything step to step to make sure i understand and process and even if i have questions And I have to call back they help me and make sure to follow through how I need to. My MA Diana is great always so cheerful and just makes me feel like if ive been knowimg her makes me feel so comfortable. MY DOCTOR Sarah Barrick i really reccommend she is great and honestly she really cares for the care she gives you and really has been helping me go through my process and is very attentive. Im really happy and with the quailty of care im getting here is Fantastic ! The team is awesome thank you so much, as I continue in my process with afc urgent care!

I do not think if there is any creteria for hiring people in here. the women in front desk, Fedep, was so mean and disrespectful to me and another client whom i witness. supprisingly she was also my sample collecter as well and was agian rude. if i was not refered by my company i woukd definetly withdraw my order.

While I have not used the facility I have visited many times as the benefits consultant for the company. I have witnessed first hand the great customer service given to all clients. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. The wait times are incredibly short compared to emergency rooms and other urgent care facilities. Not once has the same person still been in the waiting room after a meeting even if it was only 15 minutes. They will be the place I go if I am anywhere reasonably close when the need arises!

This not a place for Airport employees, they’ve kept me waiting for urine test as my employer said to do it. I’ve couldn’t get on time to my work back to the airport. Because Airport employees have to wait in the queue, as a patient.There is another one in Kent, for airport employees they don’t let us wait, test done within 2 min. Beside patient line is separate.Horrible Urgent care. Don’t come. Value your time.

I don’t know if maybe they need to have a better group of people working on a Saturday or everyone needed to adjust their attitude. Was there for a drug screen and physical. The older lady was rude when I told her why I was there. The second lady with the glasses just seemed like she didn’t want to be there. The African DO scratch out stuff on my paperwork for work for no reason. So I had to go back and get it corrected. What a horror place. Definitely going to tell my employer not to send me back here.

Dot physical. Scheduled ahead with a little waiting; but for the paperwork that needed to be completed, the wait was perfect.Very fast once I got in.The staff is friendly and professional. They even faxed the physical to the DOL for me…above and beyond the call of duty. Would recommend for your DOT physical..

Do not go to this place is the worst. I went for possible uti they decided to make me a culture because the doctor thought it didnt sound like one because of my symptoms . she told me it would take 3 days and that I can call if I didnt hear from them. I called 3 days later and the receptionist told me that the doctor had to review it and that she will call me to let me know the results, A day passed and I didnt receive a call, I call again the next day and the receptionist told me that the doctor hadnt had time. I havent heard from her to this day. It took a week and I asked them for the results so I could better show them to my doctor. The worst thing was that they submitted 3 claims to my insurance company. I called them to ask what the third claim was about since I knew about the visit and the laboratory but not about the 3 claim. When I called billing, they confirmed that the 3rd claim and did not know why and that they were going to contact me. What type of clinic is this? You get no answers and they give the worst service I have received from a Doctor, I will never go back to that place. I just hope and they fix the 3rd claim because there was nothing else besides the 15 minute visit and lab. Worst experience

Best place to go to get D.O.T physical done. Friendly staff and they are fast. Not busy if you come when they open at 8AM.

I have very bad veins due to years of IV drug use, sober now 3.5years and most anyone who ties to draw my blood has a very hard time, Diana hit it on her first try. She was friendly funny and made it painless. The reception staff was equally as friendly. Thank you so much!

Had an excellent visit renewing my dot medical card. Fast, friendly, courteous, and professional.

Very nice and first class.All the office staff were kind and efficient. The doctor and his assistants were knowledgeable and communicative. Very quickly they determined my condition - a lost stitch at a minor surgery incision, and the incision was opening and bleeding - patched me up with some kind of narrow tape strips, and finally applied a waterproof bandage. (Please note that they had not done the minor surgery.)

I have been in the Medical industry for over 20 years. I had a few hours before we had to leave for Australia.. I brought my daughter in for a potential staff infection. They were awesome. courteous and very professional. The services were of the highest caliber and very professional. They returned a call several times to follow- up on her. The costs associated to the visit were reasonable and billed directly to my insurance. They were informational and absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for a quick visit for non acute or non life threatening terms, this is the place to go period No scheduled visit, and walk in care at a reasonable cost. The healthcare industry would do well to acknowledge this on many terms. I know you will get excellent care and the services rendered will be professional and full of quality as well. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

What a great facility! I came in for impacted ear wax issue on a Monday. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was immediately taken care of with professionalism and sensitivity. When they could not fix my ear problem, they invited me to come back on Wednesday for another treatment. Better yet, the Wednesday visit was free of charge! They also sent me home with an easy-to-follow, inexpensive ear treatment for me to do prior to coming back in on Wednesday. I came back Wednesday, was evaluated and was told to continue to work on at-home treatment and see them again the following Monday. The visit on Monday was again free of charge and they solved my ear issue! Each time I went in, I was seen right away and greeted with a friendly smile.I would totally recommend Doctors Express to anyone and would use them again for any issues I have when I cannot get in to see my primary care doctor. I am NEVER waiting in an emergency room again and paying 5 times the amount I paid at Doctors Express.Awesome experience, minus the ear part.

The front desk person is a treasure. I called several places (Discover, Carbon Health, AFC) about a Covid Test, and this was the ONLY place which answered the phone, didnt put me on hold (which I understand but I dont understand having a system programmed to hang up on the customer), didnt hang up on me once they answered (both Discover and Carbon Health hung up on me), wasnt short with me, and actually talked to me in a courteous, kind, and polite manner. I understand were in terrible times, it is not about me, and there are people with much bigger problems than I have, but it is so refreshing and I so appreciate being treated as a human being with legitimate concerns. I do have a few questions and need a few answers, I have them all written out, I have already reviewed their websites, so it wouldnt take long if someone were just present and kind with each person. AFC is VERY fortunate to have this receptionist as first point of contact.

I sent a client to this clinic to have a drug test done. He was able to get in very quickly and get the service done without any hassle. I have been to this facility and it is very clean and the staff are extremely professional and friendly.Just recently my 15 year old son cut his finger with an electric hedge trimmer. We went to Doctors Express. We only waited 5 minutes to be seen. The nurse cleaned it up and the Dr. came in in about 2 minutes. He stitched it up and we were completely out there in an hour. My son was really happy that we didnt go to the ER and wait all night.

Christina was very helpful and considerate. I had just qualified for medical insurance with my new employer and she thought to give me a print out of my insurance information for the pharmacy. The med assistant and doctor were also very courteous and professional. Overall great experience!

The experience my company and I had when dealing with AFC Urgent Care was fantastic from beginning to end! While every employee I interacted with was great, Christina M., was amazing! She went well above and beyond what I felt was adequate to ensure we were taken care of and our needs were met. They were not only met, but far exceeded. We had to conduct business from out of state (even another time zone!), but the process went smoothly. Any time in the future that we have a medical need in the Kent area, without a doubt, we will be turning to AFC Urgent Care and their excellent care! :)

I’ve never had a worse experience at a doctors office. First - the doctor told me that she didn’t know what was wrong with me, then proceeded to ask me if I had any ideas of what was wrong. Then the doctor gave a an idea for a prognosis and told me to try the prescription she wrote for me and if it didn’t work that I would need to see someone else. Then I went to the pharmacy and they didn’t send it in. I tried to call and no one answer me. I called the next day and the lady at the front told me she would send it right away. I called the pharmacy 4 hours later and still nothing. They still haven’t sent it. I called 3 other times until finally the pharmacist called them and made them send it over. I WILL NEVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN. And recommend that no one ever goes here if you want your medical problems to be solved

Absolute trash. I spent 40 minutes trying to schedule through tricare. They dont take it and the front desk clerk had zero empathy towards my issue. Dont waste your time or money at this place.Edit: I did follow protocol, I called and was specifically told to go to your clinic. You are either lying to protect this review or your staff isnt aware of how tricare works.

This place is absolutely fantastic.I called initially to see if they were busy and was told there was no wait - the gal was super nice!When I arrived there were only 2 people inside. There was a table that said stop that also had a cup for clean and dirty pens, as well as a large jug of hand sanitizer.The young woman I talked to on the phone came out to greet me and had me fill out some paperwork and give her my insurance info.I waited maybe 10-15 minutes to go in which is honestly faster than my regular doctors office.The other young lady (whose name I forgot... I forgot everyones names, I am so sorry! Long day!) got my weight and vitals. She listened to everything I said about what was going on (some sort of heart palpitations). She never cut me off and only asked clarifying questions.I waited maybe another 10 minutes for the doctor (or nurse practitioner, I didnt ask) to come in. She was also SO SWEET. Again, she really listened to what I had to say to make sure she understood and how to proceed. She listened to my heart and lungs and did an EKG. We also talked about what the issue could be, how my anxiety plays into it, and steps going forward.In the end we decided that I was good to go home but should contact my primary care for a follow up.I got a copy of the EKG as well as a letter indicating what they tested and their recommendations (possibly a heart monitor).Anyway, everyone was so nice. I was terrified due to covid but everything was so clean and everyone had masks (OVER THEIR NOSE, THANK YOU ♥), and their reassurance/kindness made me feel so safe. As someone with panic disorder and GAD, I cannot thank you all enough for such amazing care during these crazy times especially. I hopefully wont have another reason to go to urgent care anytime soon, but if I have to or if someone needs a recommendation - this is the place!Much love. ♥ Keep being awesome!

Took over an hour and a half to get a standard drug test. Lobby was basically empty the entire wait. Not sure why this place cant seem to process more than one test every thirty minutes. Slowest urgent care I have ever been to.Fairly certain that any five star rating is paid for and fake.Response from management:Matt, all clinics are servicing an unprecedented level of patients due to the pandemic. The waiting room is no indication of how busy we are. Clinics now use online appointment scheduling. Using your comment fairly certain youd find longer than usual times at most area clinics due to something called Covid. We ask all patients to keep this in mind when seeking service here or any health provider.Update:Unless there are other entrances there was not an unprecedented level of patients. This sounds like a company making excuses for poor quality of service. If a company needs to make sarcastic comments due to something called Covid then clearly they cannot take criticism.Rather than solve the issues making excuses seems like a great reason to avoid this place.

The physician that saw me was amazing. He was very compassionate. If I ever need urgent care this is where I am going

I went in for a DOT physical and was told everything was fine. I went home with my new certification to discover I was given a one year card instead of a two year card with no explanation as to why. I should have been told I didnt qualify for a two year card. Not happy.(2 star review) Today I got a phone call from the doctor who performed my DOT physical and he explained to me that there was a clerical error with my paperwork and he would try and see if there was anything he could do. A little while later he called back and said that the issue was resolved. Kudos for the awesome customer service! I feel I was well taken care of with my issue. I now changed my review to 5 stars. Thank you for the personal service!

My experience was prompt, efficient care for my wound. Staff were friendly, respectful and prompt in their assessment of my needs and treatment for them. Facilities were clean and organized so that I could easily find my way and access care. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Patty and Diane were great. I understand the long wait as the clinic was understaffed. But Diane was ver professional, polite, and a good blood drawer. So she made up for it.

Dr. Ashley was absolutely the best doctor I have ever met. She was very down to earth and very kind. My wife is blind in one eye and her good eye had some debris in it. We got to urgent care and saw the doctor within 20 minutes. When we got to the back to see Dr.Ashley I was amazed to find that she was genuinely concerned about her eye and found the problem right away. I am so pleased with our experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who needs express care.

Wait time was a terrible 2.5 hours. Doctor was very courteous and able to address all concerns. Staff is very courteous. I am from out of the area and not used to having to wait so long even to a emergency room so I was little surprised but maybe this is the norm in such large city. Despite that I still recommend this facility for the staff and doctor.

Went here for a simple drug test, receptionists took 40 minutes to get me in though there was only 2 patients waiting at the entire facility. I asked one of the receptionists, what does the timeframe to get in look like, and I wasnt being rude about it, just genuinely curious because they told me 15 minutes when I first got there. Ellie blew up at me. Sir if you dont wanna be here, you can leave and come back at another time. I was shocked at how rude she was to a quick question, there was also rude body language involved such as waving me off. I cant believe that someone gets paid to treat patients like this. My co worker was tested at the same location and also had a similar experience with Ellie. She needs to not be working in healthcare, she doesnt have the calmness for this field.

I worked with Christina to schedule 6 COVID tests for our trip to Hawaii and she was courteous, patient, informative, and friendly. When we came to take the tests staff were quick and efficient! Within a half an hour we had our results and were good to go! Highly recommend for COVID testing.

Very pleased with what I had to do down there. The lady at the front desk took care of my needs very promptly and with a wonderful attitude. Even though they were out of the ecups at the moment for my drug screen test, she handled it professionally and explained the difference in the process it was now going to take.

I came in today for a quenteferin test for TB; I like their customer service skills. And how they offer all their options. Im very, very happy with their overall service.

The staff seems to have zero concern for the patients waiting and care more about the phones and private conversations between them. I have been in a half full lobby for 2 hours and no patient has been called back in the last 30 minutes as the just take phone calls instead of taking care of the patients Infront of them, 4 of us are just waiting for pre hire drug screen. 2 hours for a half empty waiting room, find another clinic there is no urgency in this urgent care.

The services that I have received at AFC Urgent Care Southcenter from the medical staff have been outstanding. Specifically, RN Christina, Dr. Dorrough, and Dr. Rodrique, were amazing. They were tentative to my wound and answered all of my questions as well as give detailed care instructions. I was comforted knowing that I had a highly skilled medical staff taking care of me!

Ive been to this urgent care twice since Ive lived in Washington and Ive had a great experience both times. The staff is always friendly and I have received treatment by both Dr. Le and his PA, Aaron, who are both exceptional providers. This is definitely my go-to urgent care!

Had metal shaving in my eye I tried to see the doctor to get my eye flushed or checked, I didnt get to that because the lady at the front desk. said they would not see me until I got my insurance info which i didnt have on hand, thats not what ruined my experience, it was the fact that she was super rude about everything and wasnt helpful at all. I dont really post reviews but this one was pretty bad.

Doctors Express got me in and out quickly, the wait time was very short. If Id gone to another Urgent care clinic closer to home, would have still been in the waiting room in that amount of time. Doctors Express is a 30 minute drive for me, but definitely worth it. They let me get on with my day. Thanks!

While the staff were friendly and kind enough, Im not one hundred percent sold on the quality of treatment I received. I was diagnosed with one thing despite the scan for it coming back negative, so Im really not sure what Ive got? Also since I was having to pay out of pocket uninsured, I was told that any procedures that were done, Id have the pricing and such discussed beforehand... though that didnt happen, because apparently a standard strep and flu swabbing is not included in the 150 dollar upfront treatment cost, and actually runs an extra 65 bucks. ouch! So while the clinic and its staff were nice, Im just not sold on their healthcare :c if my medicines they prescribed wind up helping, Ill up the score a little and edit this review.

Fast and easy! They wouldve gotten 5 stars if the front desk person would have been a little friendlier and hadnt told me they didnt take my insurance (which they did).The doctor and his assistant were both great!

Came in as a walk-in for my 12 year old daughters sport physical. We were in quick and all of the staff were very friendly and professional. My daughter said everyone was nicer than any other urgent care we have been to.

I didnt really have any thought about Doctors Express until today. When I when to the mail box today and found a bill for $900 for a lab test Doctor Express at this location send out for my girl friend few weeks ago. I guess I would feel a little better if my girlfriend did get better after her first visit but we had to visit them twice and the doctor still dont have a clue what was wrong with her. I thought after doctor told her if she doesnt get better she might have to see someone else, it was the end of nightmare but now a bill for lab test that we werent even inform about. On top of that, I call to ask about it what was going on. Before I even can explain what is going on, right away the staff going off how its not their fault and they have nothing to do with it. Really!! Cant even wait until I finish before you go off and deny any responsibility of this. YOU GUYS SEND OUT THE TEST AND YOU DONT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY. Really!! Im really disappointed and I dont usually write review about anything but this put me on the edge. This location doctor and staff need to have more communication and let us ahead of time what is going to happen. I would not suggest anyone to go there at all. Stay away, I mean it.

Wasnt sure if I needed to be seen, but finally couldnt stand the pain anymore and went in. So glad they got me in! Lindsey was awesome and answered all my questions. I would definitely go back if needed. Everyone was great

I brought my six year old daughter in when she had a cut to her forehead. The whole staff was so nice to her from the front desk to the doctor. She was a little scared and they reassured her. The treatment was great and Ill bring my kids back when they get hurt. Thanks for the super job.

Urgent need brought me to Doctors Express. The treatment I received brought me to use this facility as a primary care location for all my medical needs. Its quick, friendly and most importantly, fixes the problem. Plans are in the works to send ALL our employees to Doctors Express in Kent for their state and federal testing requirements. Highly recommended!!

I am literally just leaving. The girls are rude and unprofessional. For it being an urgent care center there is no urgency at all, I had to call the phone from inside the lobby to get someone up front and they just walked up answered and left. There were 2 other people waiting besides me and I and the other girl left. They were in the back talking and you could here the conversations perfectly. It doesnt deserve even one star. Extremely disappointed and still in pain.

We have used Doctors Express several times now for business needs and personal needs. To say it is easier to use them VS. a Hospital scheduled appointment or ER or even many of their competitors is an understatement. They use experienced doctors for every person that comes to their facility. Gone are the days of thinking you will be working with a doctor, only to be seen by some nurse, who then reports to whoever, to then come back and tell you what you may have because the doctor is working with someone else. Another example is the time spent. I was used to losing staff for 3-4 hours without batting an eye with other providers just for a drug screen, or half the day for small injuries. Now with Doctors Express I know my staff will return in an hour and a half at the most. And if it is just a drug screen, make that 45 minutes to an hour counting travel time. We are very satisfied with this Doctors Express.

The worst service from Physicians assist I had ever experienced at this facility. After registering as a new patient and waiting for half hour, I was finally called inside to be seen by the physician. The PA came and asked me few questions and without physically examining me prescribed me with pain killers and muscle relaxation tablets. Since I was more concerned about my kidneys, I requested if they could test my urine. So finally they carried out my urine test and I was told my kidney function was good. To top it all, I was sent a bill of over $300.00. This is a money making scam place and I will never recommend my family/ friends to ever visit this facility. People working in billing department are also inexperienced, lack knowledge and have no customer service.

Always insane wait times, you will not be here less than 2 hours, even with an appointment. Not to mention they never answer the phone and the website doesnt work. They are very rude. Def need more staff. Idk where theyre getting theyre stars since I only see 1s but I def would never recommend this place. Reading some of the responses to the comments its clear nobody cares about their patients. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have been to this office several times over the past four months and every time I go I have a positive experience. The wait is minimal and the office is never full of people hacking and coughing which Ive noticed is the norm in most urgent cares. The doctors will listen to you and they never seem preoccupied with getting to next patient. Most urgent cares seem to have very long wait times but this place never does. When youre sick sitting for hours to see a doctor isnt any fun. So Id rather go here for my medical needs.

Didnt answer the phone for 2 days which forces you to show up for same day Covid testing because you cant book an appointment unless its in person. Its $240 per person as opposed to $190 if you schedule it the day before, which is already up by $100 than it used to be ($90). Terrible service, poor attitudes. I understand theyre taking advantage and capitalizing during a pandemic but at least enable appointment scheduling online which you can do for anything else outside of covid testing. Dont go here if you can avoid it. You can go somewhere else, was the answer we got when we said no one picked up the phone for 2 days.

Nice and clean place. Waiting time was minimal on Sunday. Doc checked me and prescribed few things. Everyone are nice and friendly. Overall Ive had good experience. I prefer this place rather than waiting for an appointment with a physician.

Fast, friendly staff. The doctor was easy to deal with and listened to what I had to say about how I was feeling. This was my first time using them and I left happy and in less than an hour!!

Ive never had a problem with blood pressure, ever in my life, not once. When the gal tried to take my blood pressure she used a sleeve that was way too big, would have probably been larger on my leg. This thing swelled up nearly as large as a watermelon on my arm and never actually felt tight on my arm. She then recorded that I have extremely high blood pressure. She gave me a bit of time to relax then attempted the test again. This time the sleeve fell off my arm and rather than stop the test she reached down and quickly rapped it back around my arm and held it there as the machine completed the test. This time my blood pressure was recorded even higher. The third time she did the test old school with the hand pump. This time my blood pressure was perfect. Im now listening as a high blood pressure risk.

I used Doctors Express in Kent after being in a motor vehicle accident. They were polite, professional and competent. I took my son there when he injured his knee on a trampoline. He was treated quickly and with respect. I have sent several of my employees there who have been injured on the job, and who had non-work related conditions that needed urgent attention. In EVERY instance, they were treated well, competently and quickly. I highly recommend Doctors Express for your medical needs.

The front desk was terrific, but the nurse smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the PA was in a big rush and didnt complete the exam. I was there one year ago and the the overall performence was a 5 star. Not going back to this location again.

My husband and I walked into this clinic on a Friday evening at around 7:30 because our fourteen month old son had a fever of 102.4 and was crying non stop. He wasnt eating and he wasnt sleeping.When we walked in a young nurse urgently informed us that they were closed even though their windows state, as clear as day, that they are open 8am - 8 pm.She did not even say it nicely. She said, Were closed.She did not even ask us what was wrong. They are an urgent care facility and she is a nurse. We then needed to scramble to the nearest Urgent Care Clinic. Luckily there was a competent one a few miles away. We walked into that clinic at 7:59 and they still helped us.That nurse at the Doctors Express is clearly in the wrong field of work.When my husband and I returned to the clinic to speak with the owner he of course apologized and said that he had REPEATEDLY discussed the hours of operation with his staff. When we stated that we walked in at 7:30 the nurse behind the desk corrected us and said it was 7:45.Still not 8 oclock.We learned that my son had a severe viral infection and needed medicine. I could understand turning away patients THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING if it was not a life threatening emergency. But we went there because our small baby son had a 102 fever and was not eating or sleeping.If this does not qualify as an emergency then I dont know what does.

The staff here at AFC really helped calm my nerves during my visit. Even though we are in a very populated area, they gave it a small town feel which is important when visiting a medical facility. Joyous that i came in and would definitely refer someone to AFC Urgent Care.

My one-year-old son came down with a severe case of croup and was seen by Dr. Fackelman, who was absolutely wonderful with him and provided excellent counsel. We came by in the evening, very distressed by how bad our boy sounded, so we were glad that he could be seen right away. There was professionalism and respect shown at every level in this office, and we left feeling informed and reassured. I would recommend this Doctors Express to any parent (or individual) who wants quality care, convenience, and experience. You wont find better.

My son has Autism and we have a hard time finding places he will go. AFC is tge only Urgent Care place my son will go. The staff are friendly and extremely patient. Also when I brought my God Daughter there to have STD testing after her boyfriend cheated on her they were so comforting to her and really helped her be comfortable in such a stressful time for her. I have also been a patient there with Anxiety attached and the doctors, P.As, medical assistance have always been great to all of us. !!!

I don’t know what it takes to be nice to patience. But anyway you guys should work more on learning how to respect and how to be nice with humans. Good luck

I was in great discomfort. I had new health insurance and had yet to select a doctor/clinic so I used my google-fu to find an urgent care/walk-in clinic near work. Staff is welcoming and seems caring. Got me sorted out right away, called my prescription in to the pharmacy of my choice.

I had an excellent experience at Doctors Express. I ended up here because my regular doctor didn’t have an opening in their schedule for several days out. I felt very welcome from the moment I walked in the door! The employees are very friendly and helpful, and the place is squeaky clean. It took about 10 mins to see a doctor after I filled out my paperwork. I saw Dr. Piatt. He was very easy to talk with, extremely knowledgeable, & informative.I feel like the doctors and nurses here truly care, and I think that’s what really sets this clinic apart from the rest. Also, the facility is open 8am-8pm EVERY DAY. I will absolutely be back. I don’t know any other place where it takes 30-60 mins from the time you get there to the time you leave. Plus, I like Dr. Piatt more than my regular doctor.

First time visiting AFC Urgent Care and it was a great experience. The staff provided excellent customer service and were very friendly. I was in and out within 20 minutes.

Came to our office to provide flu shots to our staff. This was a very positive experience for our office. It was not only quick. But very cost effective. I do not hesitate in referring Doctors Express for Heath care needs. Thanks again to the folks at Doctors Express.

ALERT🚨🚨ALERT DO NOT GO HERE FOR DOT PHYSICAL with a sleep study that clearly states you meet DOT guidelines and don’t require CPAP they will refuse you a two year physical… they want you pay them every year for a physical…. They act like they don’t understand what the DOT Guidelines are. I work with over 2,000 co worker that need DOT physical’s I should have avoided this place after the warnings that were posted on our Facebook page. But I read Prior reviews and thought it would be OK to go here. Avoid this place unless you want to waste your time and money. If I could I would give a - star I would have.

I enjoyed a very good experience. The staff and doctors treated me respect, concern, and with a good attitude. The doctor was knowledgeable and I appreciated his advice. The service was exceptionally prompt. I felt it was worth my time to visit.

Worst staff here we came here early and my wife took the test and they ask to do it again but why is my wife needs to wait another hour to get test samples again. Never coming back here again.

Came in for a pre-screen drug test. Theyre open til 8pm but stop doing drug tests at 2pm. There was nobody even in the waiting area or in the parking lot waiting and still wouldnt do a drug test. Plus the receptionist was rude.

Here with bf who was attacked by German Shepard. BF and I are both COVID vaccinated. We were told nobody could go back with him. Why? Because, “…since COVID this has been the policy.” Time to update your policy. I’m getting tired of being told, “because of COVID.” We had to have our temperatures checked, use hand sanitizer and wear masks to be in the lobby. All well and good. But, there is no greater risk to provider or patients or their 1 support person of contacting COVID if masked vaccinated support person is with patient. Even crazy busy Valley General ER allows 1 support person to go back with patient.

My company sent me in for a DOT physical today. I was in and out within 2 hours. They did everything within their power to get my blood pressure in range. They were nice at the front desk.

I went in with my 3 yr old daughter whom had a 102.5 degree temp. I was turned away because the doctor doesnt feel comfortable with kids. When I ended up taking her to Seattle Childrens which was much further away, the receptionist couldnt stop laughing as she had never heard of that either.What a joke this place was.

The person was not there when I arrived to take my pre hire drug screen and people were just sitting there and were not forewarned that rhe person was not there. She strolled in past me after Id waited 30min, that really irked me. Wanting a medical evaluation, I looked up urgent care locations near me and chose AFC based on its overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. I had barely finished and turned in my paperwork before I was called back. After another short wait in an exam room, Ashley Rodrigue, a certified physician assistant (PA-C), came in to evaluate me.Rodrigue was thorough in her work. She listened to and took all of my questions and concerns seriously. She gave comprehensive explanations of what I was experiencing or could experience later on and how to best promote recovery. Most notably, her professional competence was matched by genuine caring.My visit to AFC (filling out the paperwork, waiting to be called back, being seen by Ashley Rodrigue, and getting the discharge summary) took just under an hour, which I consider phenomenal. I left feeling validated and at ease with my medical situation following the car accident.I was in the Seattle area on business, but if I lived there, AFC would be my preferred (and recommended) urgent care! I only hope to find a comparable urgent care where I live, should I need one.

I would give ZERO if theres one to rate Christina. for sure I will not come back and not refer anyone there. one advice i would offer to Christina or Owner would be for HER to treat everyone equally no matter what race, religion or look of the customer is.

A well-deserved shout out for Doctors Express and their Team of professionals. I had an injured shoulder and visited their clinic on West Valley Hwy on Wednesday, 15 July. I’m very pleased to say it is EASILY the BEST walk-in clinic experience I’ve ever had! From the time I walked in (GREAT service by Stacey at the front desk), completed the required paperwork, received an x-ray of the injured shoulder (by Christina) and had a dialogue with the Dr on Duty (Dr Le), the time spent was LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. The clinic reception area was well set up, the staff was courteous, professional, efficient and I REALLY felt they had MY interests in mind verses running me thru like cattle to get to the next patient.Would strongly recommend Doctors Express to ANYONE who expects quick, courteous, personal service by a group of TRUE PROFESSIONALS.Steve Bevins- BBSI

I really liked the staff. From the front desk to the medical staff. They all treated me with respect and were friendly. I liked the fact there was very little paperwork to fill out and moat of it was done on a computer pad.

Never had an office do so much to help me achieve my DOT card. Christina went above and beyond to help. Amazing nursing staff here.

Stay away from this place. They just take your money and dont help the patient. Dr will never speak to you no matter how many times you call. They duck phone calls make up excuses etc. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Its better to just visit the ER or any other place other than this. AVOID.

Went in for possible bronchitis but now theyre making me wait outside the urgent care while its cold all because they think I have COVID. Car not included.Suppose to be getting paperwork to fill out but Ive been waiting 10+ minutes for even that. Had this not been the only open + closest urgent care to get to, Id go to another one in a heartbeat.

A few weeks ago on a late Sunday afternoon, I got a sudden and very severe UTI. By the time I realized I needed to get meds ASAP there were no other urgent care facilities open. I managed to make it there by 7:30. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurse to the doctor was very nice the wait time was less than 15 minutes (probably helped by the fact that it was almost closing time and I was the last patient). The infection was quickly (and obviously)diagnosed I was given a prescription for the meds. The only problem was the lack of any 24 hour pharmacies nearby. I had to drive to Burien to the only open Walgreens Pharmacy and pay out of pocket. But that is not the fault of Doctors Express. My experience was very good there. Unfortunately I am finding myself at another urgent care (as I am writing this)for a reoccurring infection and I am regretting not having driven to Doctors Express instead. The next time I wont be making that mistake, Ill go directly to Doctors Express.

I was the first one in on a Saturday morning. The staff was quick to intake me and I wad then quick to be seen. I was traveling from out of state and they took my insurance and made sure Id get everything I needed on time.

After arriveing yesterday evening and being turned away because although they state the clinic is open till eight they dont do physicals or drug tests after five. So being said I went home. Now Im under a time line to get the physical amd drug test done so that I can have a job and provide for myself. So I get up this morning and arrive around 845 am. Now I made sure last night to ask them if I needed to bring anything or fill out or anything to take a drug test. They told me no. so so I arrive.at afc this morning and have to deal with someone named Christina who takes my drivers license and says have a seat while she enters some information okay. I have to go to.bathroom there is no bathroom you can use there. You have to get permission. Make a long story short I sit there for an hour. My time limit to take the test expires and I try to get my license back from them they said they need it so they know who I am. So around ten o clock I run out the door to my car. Peeing my pants and drive home with out my license which I now dont have anymore and I didnt get the physical or drug test done Im am completely humilated and feel this place should be I investigated by someone. And they state they give driver friendly dot exams . Wow I wonder what that requires drinking alot of water and holding it for 8 hours unti pee is running down your leg. No thanks. There has to be some guideline as to humane procedures in medical testing for.dot exams. I feel very defeated now and unemployed and now have to go get another drivers license because Christina at the front desk would not give back the one I had.She obviously needed it to remember who I am.

Dr. Le is a great doctor. Im almost glad my regular doctor was fully booked. I now have a backup plan, AFC Urgent Care, that is close to home!

Ive unfortunately had to come here twice, but have been impressed both times! Much nicer and faster than Multicare and they seem to actually care about their patients. Ill be going here from now on!

Able to get seen quickly, but felt like I was being diagnosed based on other peoples symptoms. My blood pressure was checked, and a stethoscope was used, oh, and they checked my weight...that was it, did I have a fever? Does it matter? At any rate, I need to visit another urgent care today as I am still suffering the same symptoms.

Excellent. They were very personal and went up and beyond to get the correct information from us so we could be treated correctly. We did not wait very long in the waiting room, but if we did it would of been worth it.

I love this place... I have been here several times. unfortunately.. when I was sick and having problems breathing and had pain in my back. The doctors here are amazing and caring and always make the best choice for myself and my son (who is autistic) I love them.

DO NOT GO HERE!I was misdiagnosed twice. First time was 2 years ago, I had foot pain. The doctor took an xray and said it was broken. After that medical bill, I was referred to and seen a podiatrist. The podiatrist said he did not see any break what so ever, and that I did not need to see him (and paid that medical bill).Second time was tonight! I sustained an injury to my achilles tendon area during a softball game. The front staff was very nice and the kind lady who did my x-rays was super sweet. The doctor came in and tried moving my foot around and feeling my ankle for pain. Twice I explained that the pain wasnt in my ankle. She did not listen. She said there was no break and that its sprained. I again explained that I was concerned about my achilles tendon area. She continued to tell me nothing serious was wrong and to go home, ice and take Tylenol.I just didnt believe that there was nothing wrong. I decided to go to the ER and after just a few minutes of the doctor feeling my achilles area, he said he was 95% sure it was torn. We had x-rays done there and although they dont typically show tendons, you may be able to see a shadow. He said the tear was so bad he could see it on the xray. I finally left the ER with the diagnoses of a ruptured achilles tendon and will be scheduling surgery with an orthopedic surgeon next week. Im so glad I didnt listen to the ridiculous doctor at this place. She spent less than 1 minute in my room, refused to listen to me and rushed me out. Had I listened to her, Id be at home in pain and agony with a ruptured achilles and inability to walk.DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS URGENT CARE.

The wait was not bad, fast service, smart doctors who care and show empathy and very professional. I had an amazing two visits where I received effective cures. THANK YOU!

Strep throat , fever. Son very sick. I got lost finding the place. Called and they told me where they were. Arrived within 5 minutes and they turned me away cause they were closing. Really. Seriously. NEVER go there again or recommend. TERRIBLE

This clinic did not disappoint me at all. They delivered me the best care to treat my condition immediately. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. I recommend this clinic that provides a superb quality service!

Never let the company pick the place for you to obtain a drug test. I have been here 20 mins and still waiting. Being told it would be 30 more mins. NOT EVEN A DOT DRUG TEST BUT A SIMPLE DRUG TEST! And there are the excuses. No one was there. And this is weeks before any holiday.

I called ahead twice to get an entry level dot physical at 2 different locations to find out if they can fill out form cg-179k/e only to be told upon arriving to be told they only fill out form check-179k. Both times I asked specifically about the form. Big waist of my time and and they had no information on where to get this form filled out.

Super fast and friendly service! Seriously the quickest I have been in and out of a doctors office. I did have my forms filled out before I walked in but still...

The woman that worked with me was very rude. She just had an attitude about her and she propositioned me in the back room. It wasnt exactly professional. I ended up leaving in the middle. The whole deal was rather confusing.

Very quick. My wife was in and out with very little delay. Only negative was communicating when she could leave the room. Very minor but a point of improvement.

Needed a DOT exam. Stopped there in the morning shortly after they opened, reasonable pricing & fast service. 45 minutes from the time I walked in the door to out the door. Ive used them on multiple occasions.

I got here around noon for a DOT physical, everyone was very friendly and I was out after about an hour. Dr. William was nice and friendly. Love this place :-)

Had a great experience, even though I was sick. The entire staff was pleasant and seemed to care. I have been there before, and I would go back again.

They send me to collections for 23 dollars that I owed them. No phone calls, no letter nothing. I didnt even know I had a balance until I received a call from the collections department.

Was able to get a last minute prescription for my wife but doctor didnt ask anything about her allergies, nor advised on behavior while taking the antibiotic.
