Friends For All

Im usually too prideful to ask for help but I do not recommend them if you’re in need. The housing department along with the emergency assistance people(Paula Owens)are extremely rude. You tell them so much information and have to follow so many stipulations just to be put on hold for weeks to months due to their ‘funding’ or ‘being out of the office’. Especially, when they give you a time frame to receive the assistance and they do not stick to it. Then when you ask for clarification: no one knows anything or you’ve been marked ‘complete’ but never get the assistance. If you are without- you will continue to be without by asking them for help.It’s best just to figure it out yourself or don’t fall behind/ lose a job to begin with. They look down on their clients and some of them need to find a new profession.

Ramona Moore is a great nurse practitioner. She should be shown appreciation for what she brings to the company.

Every time the alarm wakes me up screaming YOU ARE TRESSPASSING PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA YOU ARE BEING RECORDED over and over at 4 am I hate them just a little more than I thought I could hate an organization I used to believe was out to do good.Their good doing doesnt make up for ruining the only asset I d ever hoped to be able to own if I worked hard and was careful with a budget.This place and the people they help will always seem like monsters to me now. When I was in college I stupidly believed they were kind taking care of sick folks.There are drugs that werent around back then and what they have done to Willett has made me re examine f4l. They sure have a lot of money for construction. I ve never had the pleasure of knowing any extremely well funded organization that was actually benevolent and cared about individuals. There s always an agenda of some kind when theres that kind of expense, especially construction, involved.I regret being such idealistic young adult. I didnt understand how much harm places like this can actually do.My home is now a loud construction site during the day and a screaming recorded message over and over at night.So few of my generation get the chance for home ownership. I felt so fortunate until Friends 4 Life decided a residential street was a good place for a new home. This is heart breaking.

They take entirely too long to provide rental assistance. You be close to eviction before your rent is paid. They barely return calls emails etc. My opinion people that care need run the program. Ms Velita in the (EFA) program she’s a sweetheart always respond. Mr Gary contact you back when he feels like it most of those case managers say one thing then it’s something else and when you Try going over their heads they make it seem like you’re lying I’m just over it the rental assistance program

Friends For Life actively collects information on patients and reports it to the state and county under the guise of helping get people assistance. That same information is then used by government agencies to locate and prosecute the same people FFL claims to want to help. Anyone who has been should know their information is put in a database where it remains permanently. They won’t deny they do this and they will say they can’t control what the state and county do with the information. If you have received any services from FFL, you are essentially on a watch list.

Awesome place to work. If you do your job, you will have no problems. I love my supervisor (Virginia Northam). I love working with the clients, they are so sweet. I love hearing their stories!! Keep up the good work FFL ♥️😊!!

Terrible terrible place ....Im 7 months pregnant, and Ive been treated extremely bad by the counselor and management. Its their way or no way. They dont really care about helping anybody. I find them very rude and uncaring.They put off me and my husbands housing voucher, and placed someone else in front of us without notice, and we are expecting a newborn in September of 2020 and currently live around screaming and yelling every day that staff has been knowing about and has not done anything about. Apparently, they plan to do nothing.They dont care about their clients or the property.....very unprofessional and lacking loyalty, understanding, patience, and compassion which are essentials for helping people.Do yourselves a favor and run the other direction!

Amazing people doing amazing things for an amazing population. Do anything you can to support their services and clients. Youll be a better person for doing so.

The security guard made sure he gave me a mask to put on. Lol, but he didnt have one on. I just couldnt understand that at all. Next time they need to make sure everyone wear a mask 🤣 and not just people coming in the building 🤣

The best place to really get help. The staff is welled trained and they know how to treat each client. Theres never any disrespect on either end.

An awkward experience all around

I called friends for life because i needed utility assistance because my wife has epilispy and she is pregnant we have a one year old in the house to avoid utility from being cut off and they refused to help me because me or my wife doesnt have hiv.

They only help certain people that are in some program I know nothing about.

I have now been lied to twice by two different individuals saying that I will get a call from somebody to do intake process if you’re going to tell someone that you are going to do something Please do not lie.

Worst place to go do not go here make it your last option they constantly give me new case workers I was denied for insurance because lack of communication I hate this place I really wish it was more options no one cares to help everyone is rude and inconsiderate

I feel very welcome and taken care of the employee are careing and kind

Staff doesnt greet clients with any care. No help here unless your incompetent and unemployed. Looking for other services in Memphis if anyone can help please send resources.

Offer great services, but take too long get the help you need

I volunteered for friends for life. Food cooked by chefs. Volunteers serve you.

This is a great place that helps out people. I gave someone a ride there and they came out with bags of food.

Ever sales person was outstanding and knowledgeable about the store
