Planned Parenthood - East Oakland Coliseum Health Center

I was a bit indecisive about this location because of the reviews but they have good service. We were late for our appt but called to let them know and they were able to get us in not too long after checking in. The nurse and lead clinician who attending to us were polite and helpful. We even got a last minute vaccine done! Definitely coming back here!

I would like to share my recent experience at this clinic. I informed the clinician that I was uncomfortable with a prope ultrasound due to traumatic events in my past. However, she proceeded with the prope instead of the abdominal ultrasound without listening to my concerns. After failing to get a clear picture, the doctor had to come in, and the doctor successfully conducted the abdominal ultrasound. It was disappointing to not feel heard and respected during my visit, its important that I wrote this review because when seeking medical care patients should be listened to and not disregarded, especially concerning ones body. Its disheartening to have to write this review in 2024, but its essential to share my experience.

Wendy is the real MVP, she made it happen for me to be seen same day :), we need more employees like her kind and happy she was smiling the whole time. Thank you again!

Horrible experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I felt so hopeless here. These people have absolutely NO consideration towards people. They basically wanna give you an abortion pill and send you on your way. The physician I saw had a complete attitude about me wanting an ultrasound to see MY baby. Told me it wasn’t necessary because I had one at a previous appointment, and told me they could pull up the old images, NO!!!! I want to see what the baby looks like today!!! Just terrible overall. No compassion towards people whatsoever. Don’t waste your time at this dump. Never Again.

When receiving services the staff was very friendly and informative. The wait lines can be long and maybe have the doctor come back in the explain and answer more questions I have about results, I left kind of feeling like I didn’t get my questions answered

Usually good care if you can actually get in to see a clinician. They force you to schedule a phone appointment first which is usually a week away so you dont get to be scheduled to see an actual clinician until a minimum of 2 weeks has gone by.Went in to the clinic finally and they said all their appointments that day were cancelled so they rescheduled me for the next day. Came in the next day and they told me the clinician who was supposed to see me went home and they couldnt see me that day either. Huge waste of time going back and forth to the clinic and being cancelled on without warning twice in a row. Not impressed.

Staff is patient and helpful. Great experience here.

Appt making was easy, they saw me within a few minutes of my scheduled time. I arrived early, there were 5 people waiting before me. Not enough staff working. They are friendly and respectful. I dont agree with their confidentiality policy, I wanted my partner with me the whole time, I was forced to answer questions alone. They were as efficient, friendly and easy going as possible.

Im not quite sure what is going on at this facility, but be aware that if you schedule an appointment chances are they will cancel it an hour prior to your appointment. Or theyll send you to the Hayward clinic. Just a heads up 🙂

I was supposed to get a prescription that I needed to be taken within 24 hours. It never got sent to the pharmacy, so I called them the next day and was told that it had been sent. I called the pharmacy, and they hadnt received it. I called Planned Parenthood again and was told that theyd call me back. They never did, and since this was on a Saturday theyre closed the next day.

Lady at front desk is passively rude every time I have been there. no concern of my health, rescheduled me On two different occasions even though planned parenthood was at fault. Never tried to accommodate me for my time or see if they could fit me in. Nurse was very condescending and I do not recommend this place. I only continued to show up for my final appointment because it is so close to my house and convenient for me to go ito work come home and take care of my health. I am currently trying to find out where I can go and who I can talk to to make sure something is done about the treatment of the patients at this office. It is not fair to the people coming in and out of there. I’m sure thy have enough on their plate already and do not need additional stress and life complications.

My appointment was at 1:30 pm and I was still waiting pass an hour because they was running later on there lunch. This place sucks!!

The most unprofessional location of them all. They don’t actually honor appointment times at all. If I arrive at 1:37pm for a 1:50 appointment and am not even acknowledged until 2:24, what was the use in even making an appointment at all? Don’t waste a second at this location. Go elsewhere.

Tried to make an appointment for ANY day this week. I spoke to Lucy at Planned Parenthood Miramonte (miraloma?). She seemed irritated from the moment she answered, cut me off as I was speaking, and didnt fully answer my questions. Not sure what the deal was, but when youre making an appointment at Planned Parenthood, dismissive and borderline rude attitudes are exactly what you DONT need.

I always end up waiting more than an hour even with an appointment. Today I waited 90 mins just to get a vaccsine here. It’s very slow

0 star for their staff, they are not working hard, everyone waited more hours. They are busy with them self. We have appointment for 9:30am and it is 11:30am we are still waiting. I asked from others they are also unhappy from this, not good service. I hope the management department review the comments and solve the problem.

Had a appointment on Tuesday at 12:30 got there couple minutes early got out before 1 got my stuff and left. Nice people.

My experience was great here. Their staff is super friendly and supportive. Evelyn helped me out she is super nice.

The times I had appointments here Ive waited more than an hour almost two hours of wait till I will be seen possibly the worst clinic Ive been to its ridiculous.

Be careful there are a lot of evil people that work here. I am getting ready to sue them. They gave me 5 of the wrong medications on purpose

The staff is quite busy with themselves, the nurses spent more than an hour talking and I had to wait more than two hours for them to attend to me, this clinic is disastrous, terrible service
