My husband and I initially contacted the Reproductive Science Center of the Bay Area regarding our interest in genetic testing. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate that Dr. Hariton agreed to assist us.From our very first appointment with Dr. Hariton, we had a very positive experience. He took the time to understand our goals and talk us through various options, ultimately helping us decide (without pressure!) to pursue egg retrieval and embryo creation.Throughout our entire process, Dr. Hariton was kind and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Hariton and my experience of freezing my eggs. From the very first fact finding appointment, he was so kind, welcoming, and calm. I was very nervous about the entire process, as it is an expensive one and I dont have a partner so Im doing this alone. I believe the doctor has both the knowledge and experience needed for effective treatment. He clearly explained the process and diagnosis, giving me the opportunity to adjust the plan according to my comfort level while fully informing me of the risks. For example, my insurance doesn’t cover the PGT test, and he didn’t pressure me to do it. Instead, he provided me with the information that, at my age, only 50% of embryos are viable and asked if I was comfortable with that reality. If I was, he would approve skipping the PGT test and proceed with the treatment.I appreciate how closely he monitored my progress. Even though I didn’t always see him in person, I knew he was the one overseeing my lab work and keeping a close eye on the results. During the stimulation phase for retrieval, I needed lab work every other day, which I appreciated because it ensured we didn’t miss any opportunities. He noticed that my eggs weren’t growing evenly and adjusted my medication dosage just in time. As a result, we ended up retrieving 34 eggs. Wonderful!On the transfer day, he was very kind and warm. He explained the physiology of my embryo to ensure the transfer was successful. He wished me good luck but didn’t overly cheer me up, understanding there was still a chance of a negative outcome. I requested not to use PIO, and he agreed that we could try a natural cycle for my next transfer (as I’m planning to have more children).Fertility treatment is an ongoing process, and being treated by a doctor who understands my needs, can be flexible, and closely monitors my lab results to adjust the treatment plan is key to success.

I successfully went through the IVF process (Im currently in my third trimester!!) with Dr. Eduardo Haritons help and guidance this past summer. From the start he listened to my goals, came up with a customized approach, and made sure we made adjustments along the way as new things arose.At RSC a big part of the experience is driven by the coordinators and that tends to be more standardized. What I appreciated most about Dr. Haritons care was that he didnt just take a cookie cutter approach, he made himself available when things got more complex and he supported us in making the right decisions for us. Dr. Hariton and his clinical care team were great. I did one egg freezing cycle and one embryo freezing cycle with him. He made me feel comfortable throughout the process, was very personable, was very willing to answer any questions I had, and broke down a very complicated process into conceivable, digestible information.

I am not exaggerating when I say I wish Dr. Hariton was my doctor for everything. He is the full package - the expertise, the people skills, the ‘client experience’ (he came prepared with a full-on PowerPoint presentation on the first visit), the compassion, and even the jokes.
