I saw Leslie Dvorak back when she was still with Nebraska Medical, and while she was great about providing care, ever since this clinic was established Ive had nothing but problems.Deeply unprofessional and unorganized. I wasnt even actively seeing them when they accidentally leaked the email addresses of every single patient at their clinic when sending me updates about my care.I made it crystal clear what insurance had, and what my copay would be when I arrived, and double checked multiple times. Weeks later they tell me Im out of network and every appointment would cost over $150. I could have spent that time seeking out a new provider, but instead I sat on it for weeks under the assumption that they knew what they were talking about.Leslie, you were great, but your staff couldnt be worse. Really wish I didnt have to change providers this late in my transition but I really dont have any choice at this point. If you can find any other option to get your HRT, please take it.

I would like to start this by saying im glad that Leslie and her staff created a healthcare space specifically for trans individuals. it is hard to find trans healthcare in Omaha and i think the clinic is much needed addition and a great resource.with that said, my experience at this clinic was interesting to say the least... several things made me uncomfortable.- the nurse did not wear gloves during my blood draw. (didnt realize in the moment, as i was focused on the provider showing me how to draw T)- i was never sent the shot guide i was promised. yes, this is easy to find online but i expected to be provided materials from my provider.- i had to reach out a week or so after my appointment and ask for my test results... this honestly feels unacceptable to me, ive been to many doctors and never once had to request my results.- i was dead named, twice. once in person, once over messages with the provider. i had alternate names in my chart. i also told them how to address me. regardless if i told them or not they are a trans centered clinic. youd they would go the extra mile to address people correctly. trans people deal with being misgendered and dead named enough already, we dont need it while we are trying to receive life saving care as well.i understand this is a newer and small clinic. with limited hours and a lot of moving parts. (i also work in healthcare and understand how stressful it can be, its easy to miss things sometimes.) i am also sure everyone there is wearing a lot of hats like most small business employees do. however, that is no excuse for repeated missteps and inadequate health care.i was on the fence about returning due to how anxious and stressed my first experience made me. i wanted to give it a second chance and see how they would respond to me mentioning my discomfort. so, i messaged them to cancel my appointment and informed them i was uncomfortable over several things they did. no one reached out to asked questions, just to let me know they cancelled the appointment. this made it obvious to me... they dont care, atleast they didnt with me.if they had asked what made me feel that way and apologized i would have continued going here.while i am grateful i was able to start my HRT journey here i would not recommend this clinic to others based on the experience(s) i had.i would also like to note that i am POC and i feel like that factored into part of my experience because there were non POC people in the office with me and they seemed to be getting more attentive care.thankfully i have found somewhere else to do my follow up appointments.do with this information what you will, just wanted to share my experience and hopefully avoid it happening to others.

Im a cis-gendered male who goes to PHC for my TRT and Laser Hair Removal. The staff is amazing, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.I was a bit intimidated going here, at first, as im not their usual clientele but they have been nothing but welcoming to me.I cannot recommend Pride Health Clinic enough to, literally, everyone!
