The Womens Center

Spare yourself. The Womens Center sounds nice because they have multiple providers and open time slots. But what they do is over book. You will wait for your appointment for at least an hour. First 30 minutes in the waiting room then will bring you back tell you to undress and leave you naked under a paper sheet for up to 45 minutes. Complaints to management will do nothing. They will refuse to give you your lab result until you come in for a follow up to make you pay another co-pay. Even refuse after requests for your own medical records. They will not call or email you that results have come in (hope you check your patient portal every hour for a week so you can know when action needs to be taken). They will not answer the phone to make an appointment, leave you waiting for 10 minutes, and then terminate the call. They also will not prepare you for pre-op for procedures. I was told when I arrived for my procedure that I should have taken pain medications prior to arrival to help with the pain I was going to experience while in the procedure. NO ONE INFORMED ME. I have had years of terrible experiences with this office and constantly being reassured that my experiences will not happen again. That is clearly not going to happen. I was told at one point I would need a new liver by the end of the year because they kept putting me on multiple antibiotics that werent working. I decided to not go back to their office for a year and deal with my issues on my own. (They also called my friend OBESE when she came for her yearly when she is nearly 30, 54 ,and 140 pounds and active. It destroyed herself image when she never even asked for input. Not to mention she is perfectly fit and healthy). This office has put my health at risk, no communication, and constantly wastes my time.

I’ve visited both locations. The one at hunters creek and the most recent winter park location. Each time, the wait time is outlandish. I had an appointment this morning and waited 1hour before I mustered up the courage to ask about my appointment. It’s always a hour wait!! It never fails. Not to mention once you get to the back, you have to wait another 20-30 to see the doctor. It’s so frustrating because, they are not considerate of their patients time. My husband was not able to wait in the waiting room with me. He had to sit and wait the entire hour in the car. I don’t get how they are scheduling appointments but patients are waiting over an hour just to be called. I politely gathered my things and left. I’m sure there are other offices available that will respect my TIME!

Ive been a patient there for over 7 years and just recently had a bad experience and they gave me the run around to resolve it. I had to keep calling until they finally resolved the issue. Took my daughter there for an appointment and part of the checkup was a sonogram which they had forgotten to schedule. They wanted to squeeze her in, but had to run the benefits through the insurance to determine the cost which came back at $211. I declined because it wasnt an amount I was prepared for, but still wanted to proceed with the follow up with the doctor for some other labs which fell under the regular copay. Two days later upon checking my account as I usually do I see they still charged the payment of the $211 plus the copay. The person at the front desk that day was distracted and trying to take care of multiple things at once which clearly she couldnt. I called the same day that I caught it and Desiree from billing said she had to verify with the office if it was actually done although I think notes shouldve specified, but I said okay. She agreed to call me back to let me know and of course that did not happen. I had to call back & then she confirmed that it was sent to management for approval. Called Monday all day no one in billing answered the phone not once. I had to result to calling through the appointment line where a manager agreed to call me back, but again did not happen. Called & spoke to different people and not one person created any urgency to resolve the issue and management just sat there on their behind. Had to place a complaint with the better business bureau and sent email to billing, but of course Desiree responded claiming she was still waiting on management. Everything was unprofessional and mishandled. If they were quick to charge and incorrect amount they should use that same energy to refund the money especially since its not just a $40 copay.

I called as a new patient and immediately was taken back by how rude the front desk lady was. She literally hung up in my face as im speaking, had to call back & wait another 30 minutes. Staff needs to do better or simply not work in a profession dealing with people if you’re going to be that rude.

We thought this was going to be a great place due to the reviews, however the opposite was true. They force the husband to wait outside the building until the spouse is called. No matter the weather or conditions. I was outside for 40 minutes in 43 degree weather. I finally had enough and went inside to complain. Their answer was “Company Policy” and that, “They are the bottom of the totem pole.”This is unacceptable. This policy needs to change.

Well organized and great staff. Dr. White is an amazing doctor. I’ve had experiences where a doctor will just rush through the appointment without really listening, but not with Dr. White. She finally diagnosed me after seeing so many doctors with no results. She’s very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and caring. I fully trust her and her opinion; a doctor like her isn’t easy to find but I’m thankful I did. Highly recommend.

I had a very positive experience with the office. The staff were helpful and Dr. White was excellent. She was kind, non-judgmental, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything she was doing and answering any and all questions I had. I definitely recommend this practice.

Dr. White is one of the best obgyn doctor I’ve ever dealt with. She greeted me with a beautiful smile washed her hands and stuck her hand out to greet me. She was polite, kind, funny but most importantly she was extremely informative first doctor appointment I left not having a single question it was all talked about in a face to face sit down. They were quick but precise and every employee in there smiled at me and spoke to me. I wanted to stay with the lady’s but I had to go. I never thought I would look forward to my next dr visit. I was there for my confirmation of pregnancy test for the first time . Although wearing mask for Covid had been long gone they still didn’t allow my mom in the room to hear my babies first heart beat . It was an experience I had to have alone and I would never appreciate the way they handled it . I later transferred over to celebration and delivered there saving my self from WinniePalmer. No thank you !

Loved Dr White. She’s knowledgeable, informative, and has great bedside manner. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Amazing care and attention to detail, I will definitely be coming back and recommending this practice go my friends.

This is my new favorite gyn. The staff were every friendly and helpful. The wait times were extremely short. Dr Christensen was great! She made me feel very comfortable during my visit and didn’t push any birth control like many gyns tend to do. I would definitely recommend her to anyone of my friends/ family.

Every time I go to The Womens Center…I AM NEVER DISAPPOINTED! Everyone is always kind and professional from the front desk to the Doctors. Dr. White was AMAZING and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone. She was very patient in hearing me out and she was very thorough by making sure we check all possibilities of my issue. I love this office, I am never gonna leave and when I’m ready to settle down and have babies they will definitely be the people I run to lol.

Dr. White was one of the most thorough Drs I have ever experienced. She was very attentive and answered all my questions and I didnt feel like another number. Her assistant Shaniqua was awesome and kept me informed when she was running late.

I went to to the Women’s Center and was one of the best medical experiences that I’ve had, I was really nervous, but since you enter to their waiting room, the staff is super friendly and make you fell comfortable. Dr White is amazing, very professional, helped me to relax and took their time to go trough every question that I have. I will highly recommend this Center and thank you again!

Dr. White is the first doctor I’ve ever been too that made me feel beyond heard, comfortable and cared for. Her and her staff made me feel welcomed and like a human. This doctors office is horrible!! They don’t have no management to speak with when you have a problem, they had a manager call my phone while I was in the office to speak to me instead of coming out in person!! They don’t allow your new born baby in office when you do a follow up for having the baby, they all express c-seation first which is weird!! The A.A Lohana in the front has been rude my whole time here, rolls her eyes and tells me there is no one for me to talk to beside her!!! How can you be a OB doctors office who don’t allow the new borns, there are single mothers who don’t have no one to help them!! Yall refusing mothers who don’t have babysitters. I can’t believe this!! Will be finding a new office!! Dr Vega and Dr Kelly are good and sweet though but horrible team here!!

Dr. White is really amazing! She communicates extremely well and I always leave her office feeling like my GYN health is in good hands. I appreciate her taking the time to explain things, and all of the staff for making me always feel comfortable.

I recently switched OB/GYN offices and I’m glad I did. Dr.White is very professional and welcoming. I have only been seen twice so far and she always describes where and how she is going to touch me when she has to do exams. That to me is a green flag sine it can be an uncomfortable experience at times. Not only is she great but from the receptionist to the nurses, they are all very sweet and care about client comfort. They are helping me with my pre-pregnancy journey and I couldn’t be any happier.

Dr. Andrea Christensen is so wonderful. She’s personable, funny, and she cares. I feel comfortable speaking to her openly and asking her all and any questions. This is the most positive gyno experience I’ve ever had. Thank you for creating a safe space!

After having been a patient for years at another practice (which has steadily declined), my primary care physician recommended Dr. White. I really like how thorough this physician and her staff are in collecting information, communicating, and treating concerns. I felt valued and heard. Dr. White is warm, caring and no nonsense. Her team is very professional. So happy to have found a real doctor who treats me with respect and courtesy.

I have seen 2 years ago by Dr Kelly, Sherra, she was nice and understanding specially because I’m very sensitive in doing pap exam, unfortunately afterwards I couldn’t have a result because apparently it was no sufficient to be analyzed and they called me to have another one, which this time I had to pay for certain amount since insurance didn’t cover all. I didn’t want to go through again. I want to make an appointment with another doctor and called , message repeat again and again to make appointment on line, I want to speak with someone, I don’t like to deal with websites, since I have questions to be answered, that phone number no matter if you call directly to office you want app. It sends you to main number and keep you waiting and waiting and waiting…., no one answered, I was on the line for 23 min. to get to speak to someone and finally system hang up my called. I went to website to make app. as they repeatedly say in system and it says I can’t make app. on line , I have to call. If this is happening now just to make an appointment, what can I expect afterwards in case I need something else to request or fix. Doctors maybe good and nice, but system isn’t, and as I saw few comments that not allowing husband inside and had to wait outside or new born baby not allowed, that’s horrible system andpolicies from this place, they should make it easier for patients. Never coming back !

Dr. Johnson is not only a competent physician, but also very compassionate. She took extra time after my procedure in order to better explain my options. She explained things in simple terms…even taking the time to explain my prognosis using pictures with her laptop. She’s kind and patient.

Longer wait than expected but friendly service and Dr White too the time to explain a few things. Nice of her to do that for her patients. Shows she really cares.

My first appointment was great! The staff are very friendly, and doctor white had great bedside manner. Had to wait a bit but I understand that they were probably super busy that day. My second appointment is where I had issues, it’s pretty expensive just for a review on the medication I was given (175 bucks, and that’s with insurance.) once I got in I waited for a short period and was able to speak with dr white who this time seemed like she was way too busy to be attentive or listen to my concerns, I have never felt so dismissed or rushed by a doctor like that in my life. I was given another medication, and I asked if there were any side effects to which she said “no, a lot of my patients love it!” And it was AWFUL for me. They tried to get me in for a 3rd time but I would rather not pay almost 200 bucks for the same experienceI would also like to note for any women that is trying to book here to become sterile after seeing that dr. White will do it, no questions asked that this is not true.I would recommend this place if you have money and don’t mind brief visits, but if you are concerned about your health, wanting to be sterile, or have any questions regarding conditions you may have to look elsewhere.

Let me first start by saying the lady with the curly hair who did my sonogram was very nice. however i went the first time when i was 5 1/2 weeks paid $350 for self pay waiting for my insurance to be accepted. i advised the middle aged dark skin lady at front i applied for medicaid and she told me just to make sure i upload my insurance information before the next appointment. so i arrive to my next appointment and the lady that was working on 08/30 at 1 pm was EXTREMELY rude. she kept shaking her head no while i was speaking and i had to advise her what was told to me the week prior to coming in. this lady was so unprofessional just shaking her head and saying no. Listen to the person speaking instead of being rude and wasting peoples time!

Dr. White is so kind and welcoming. She always puts me at ease when I am talking with her about my health. I highly recommend Dr. White.

Dr. White genuinely cares. I was seeing her at another practice and when she moved, I followed her. She’s always so helpful and is compassionate. The practice responds to my questions in a timely manner.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Enriquez for over 7 years and it has always been a positive experience. She is very knowledgeable and is always willing to listen to and answer questions. She is very straight-forward when it comes to wellness and treatment which I very much appreciate. She has even called me late in the evening to correct a prescription issue I was unaware of! The front office has also been very bright and helpful through insurance changes, billing concerns, prescription refills, and scheduling appointments. Overall 10/10!!

Dr is nice and knowledgeable, but the waiting time is long. You have to be prepare to be there at least 1 hr, but when you have a health issue, the doctor and her team, they care and they are always behind you helping and doing things easy to helping you, and also they track your appts in that way you don’t forget to do it. Thanks for everything the time waiting is just little thing when the staff and the doctor cares about you!

IMO, the office has done a great job to follow CDC guidelines to keep patients safe. Dr. Nelson takes the time to discuss patient history in a one-on-one setting in her office before the exam. This was a very refreshing change from my past experiences. Highly recommend!

Ive been Dr Vegas patient for 16 yrs and he is excellent and I dont have any complaint about him, but the office staff represent the doctor. The Office staff let me down, I was late because GPS sent me to another place, I called the office to get help and she said to hurry because they cancel appointnents after 15 min. That day, there was a horrible storm. I got all wet, but arrived, then he front desk with no mercy or care, canceled my appointment and offer me to reschedule.This is not fair, because when we check in we have to wait 30 to 40 mins to see the Dr., or sometimes they cancel, because dr had an emergency. Really! Im so in pain and I have now to look for another GYN.

Dr. Johnson is excellent. I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with healthcare practitioners who don’t listen, want the appointment to end ASAP, and don’t customize care to my history, symptoms, and lifestyle. Dr. Johnson is patient, knowledgeable, and direct. So happy to have found a great doctor in my network!

Dr. White was a great doctor and made me feel very comfortable at my appointment. Everyone working there are very friendly and are willing to help.

I consider Dr. Nelson to be one of the best doctors Ive ever had, and the best GYN. Besides her knowledge and experience, she is kind, friendly, and caring. We discuss other areas of my life because she wants to cover the whole patient. It is obvious that she cares not only about my health, but also my well-being. A wonderful doctor!

I started coming to Dr Nelson years ago and have gone back after each kid. I love the way they actually make you feel like a human being. She meets with you in her office to talk about your health issues and will give you the pros and cons of each choice. Her bedside manner is wonderful and the staff are always warm and welcoming.

Wonderful experience at the Womens Center! Bijal was very informative and addressed all my concerns. Highly recommend!EDIT: I changed my rating to 1 star and would honestly do less if possible. After my initial visit, I booked my treatment for the following month. They canceled the morning of as my IUD was not in stock. So I booked the following month and ensured they would have it in stock the week before. The hurricane was a reasonable excuse this time. However, I booked my fourth appointment and they told me I should have signed paperwork to order the device a month before.Healthcare is generally inefficient, but preparation has always been the benefit of the delays. Im sure Dr. White is an excellent clinican, but poor scheduling/management will prevent my ever finding out. I am appalled at the lack of organization in a medical clinic caring for women like me. This was the first time I ever heard about such paperwork. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone and will not return for yet another disappointment. Stay away!

Any location that Dr. Johnson is at is where I want to be! The staff at the Gore Street office are definitely friendlier than the Hunters Creek location, and the Altamonte Springs waiting room is a little snug, but Dr. Johnson makes it all worthwhile. I have traveled to various locations solely because she is the only OB/GYN that I want to see. We moved a bit of a distance away, but its worth the trip to have her providing care for my obstetric and gynecologic needs.She is incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth, friendly, professional, and she is INFORMATIVE! One of my favorite things about her is that she EXPLAINS things thoroughly, asks [genuinely] if you have any questions, and NEVER makes you feel rushed (which is probably why the wait is always so long--- the only thing I DONT like about seeing her).Ive only worked with 2 of her colleagues (they were on call when my last 2 babies were born) and they were both excellent as well. HIGHLY recommend this practice, ESPECIALLY Dr. Johnson!!! 😁

If you are like me, one of the worst things about doctor visits is the length of time that they keep you waiting, even with an appointment! I have NEVER had to wait for Dr. Nelson!! They obviously strive to keep to their schedule, which indicates their consideration for the patient.I also don’t feel rushed in and out. Dr. Nelson spends time with me before and after my exam. She takes the time to know me. She is kind and funny and I feel she has a genuine interest in my well being.She was recommended to me by a friend and i am forever grateful. 😊

Dr Nelson is the only doctor Ive been to that takes the time to sit with me to discuss what Im there for & to go over any questions. Then after the exam she sits again to talk about what she found and next steps. Incredible! So nice to spend more than 5 minutes with the doc.

Loved my doctors visit ! This was only my second womens health visit , my first was awful at another place so I was scared to actually go in ever again for a Pap smear . But I know I needed one , it’s always good to get checked , my provider Dr.A Christenson was amazing , she walked me through the steps and my visit went so much better than expected. The doctors office is nice and clean . Def recommended!

Dr. Bijal Patel and all of the amazing women in this office go above and beyond for their patients. They were able to schedule me for 3 separate appointments all within a week time frame to ensure my insurance would cover each thing I had to be seen for.They are phenomenal at communication and ensured that any question or concern I had was answered thoroughly and that I felt comfortable every step of of way.As my health concerns were things that were overlooked by previous offices, I can assure you I will travel out of my way to stay under the care of Dr. Bijal Patel and her team (special shout-out to Keyona as well! She is an astonishing ultrasound technician there as well!).Again, I cannot recommend this team enough. I’ve previously seen reviews regarding appointment cancellations but in my experience is was only due to a personal emergency with one of the Drs and they immediately called me to offer to still be seen by another physician in the office so I wouldn’t need to reschedule.Thank you ladies for all that you do!!

The front office staff is really great and very organized. The facility is always clean. I dont have long wait times during my visits, whether its to be called back or while waiting for the physician. Dr Enriquez has a wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel very comfortable. What really made me feel comfortable and valued as a patient, is that she took time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed or hurried. I feel like I can trust Dr Enriquez and her team to receive the best patient care.

Dr white is one of the few doctors who is interested in the patient. She patiently listens to the patient and clearly explains the treatment. She absolves doubts with the same dedication. The place needs an improvement but the attention of the Doctor is the best

I picked the doctor and this office due to the good review. I even prayed before going to my first appointment. After my first visit everything went downhill. I am so distraught and disappointed of the treatment that I have received.Front desk staff did not send the order from the doctors to get my procedure done. When they did, they did not do their research to determine if it was an out of network provider, and almost paid 600 dollars out of pocket. I then had another order to Brown Fertility that was in network and AGAIN it was a back and forth ordeal because the front desk did not send the orders on several occasions.Today I asked for some clarification and they made an appointment without my knowledge, the nurse did not know what the the doctor instructed me last time and got a series of mixed information.This is a very uncomfortable to even write. I feel so vulnerable when it is something that is so sensitive to me especially because Ive had a very traumatic past. This has been the worst experience of my life when it comes to female appointments.

Dr. told me it was crucial to get this prescreening for ovarian cancer so I took her recommendation and did the blood work. Turns out it was an experimental procedure and my insurance wouldn’t cover it! I had to pay out of pocket $577! When I tried to get them to change the code, they gave me a hard time but changed it to prescreening and my insurance still denied it. They refused to change the code again and I was tired of fighting with the office to get them to fix this bill so I ended up paying it. The office did not warn me that insurance may not cover this and I have fantastic insurance. I’m not happy.

Dr. Nelson and her staff are amazing. I highly recommend them. They are kind and attentive. Dr. Nelson is very thorough when it comes to testing and examinations, but she also takes the time to ask lots of questions and listen because she understands being a good doctor is about getting the whole picture.

Dr. Nelson has been my Gynecologist for over 30 years. Dr. Nelson has always been compassionate, and seen me through some difficult times in my life. I am forever grateful to have her as my doctor and I highly recommend this amazing lady. Thank Dr. Nelson for always making me smile, even when life throws some curve balls of being a women. Im giving them 2 stars, as I was a patient here for 15 years and never had an issue, but my doctor retired back in March and its only been a hassle since then.I had made an appointment over the phone to meet with my new doctor the following day regarding a prescription refill. I showed up the next morning and they didnt have me in their system. Ive sent multiple messages through their online portal to my new doctor and Ive never received a reply. Their own system says all messages will be responded to within 2 days. Their phone system is horrible if you need to speak with someone. It only directs you to book an appointment online or to send a message, and I wasnt about to send another message thatd be ignored.Finally, I had my annual appointment for the beginning of the month. I showed up and their door was locked. I spent 10 minutes trying to find out what was going on while on hold trying to get through to someone. I finally find out from a lady cleaning that they had moved across the street, but there was no way Id known had it not been for her. I walk in and apparently my doctor was out of the office, and she said they had tried to contact me, but I never received a voicemail, let alone a missed call. They surely didnt try to hard to let me know. I found a e-mail on their website, and sent them a detailed e-mail about all of my frustrations and have yet to get a response. Ive already made an appointment with a new facility.

I love it here. At first I had Dr. Johnson but she always seem like she’s in rush and I hate that. But I’ve been going to Ms.white for almost 2 years and she listens to my problems and always educating me.They are the best there

I originally had an appointment with DrVega. And when I was on my way there had a call to cancel the appointment because he was at the hospital, so inconvenient since I already took the afternoon off from work. Thankfully I was able to see the NP. She was GREAT. Also the front desk girl. Super cold and rude. She seems bothered and wanted to get back to her phone

I love Dr Nelson. She is the smartest wisest most experienced knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever had. She has seen so many different medical situations chances are she’s an old pro at what ail’s you too. Dr Nelson is truly a brilliant force in women’s medicine today. I love Dr. Nelson.

I went in for an annual exam at the Gore location in Orlando FL. Everything went great at first, until it was time for me to receive my results. Its been over a week and my results were not posted through the portal. So of course, I thought maybe something could be wrong. I reached out through the portal and no response. I reached out through their phone number and this number is not the direct line to the office, its a number that directs you to put in a extension or send a message through your patient portal. This experience has been frustrating. It has given me anxiety as a woman. It should not be this hard to communicate with a doctors office and voice your concerns.

Dr. Johnson is the only doctor that I would see because she takes her time to explain, answer questions and I don’t feel rushed. Dr. Johnson can relate because she’s a woman. She’s wonderful and knowledgeable at her job. Kudos to Dr. Johnson keep up the great work!

Dr. Nelson and her team are excellent. They are straight forward, accommodating, relentless in the pursuit of answers to any health related questions or resolutions to issues you may have. I absolutely recommend their practice. Dr. Hernandez is also tremendous! You cant go wrong seeking out care from either practitioner.

I recently started seeing my provider of 16 years here as she recently switched to this practice (she is incredible, unfortunate she switched to this practice) . The front office staff is unprofessional, they NEVER answer the phones & have an attitude. I got my results back, they advised me to come back in 6 months. So I did, and the results completely flip flopped. The office then contacted me & said I needed to have a procedure done. I messaged them asking for clarification & never got a response back. I decided to get a second opinion at a different practice & in fact DID NOT need the procedure this office was saying I needed. Seems like they just wanted the insurance money. If you want trustworthy & kind care, DO NOT GO HERE. I will NOT be returning.

After a couple appointments i decided to change my review. my first appointment i waited nearly an hour but they were very busy so i decided not to let it effect my thoughts, however my other appointments were exactly the same. my nuchal translucency appointment was in my opinion one of the most important and it was handled very poorly. i was forgotten about for nearly 20 minutes when i was the only patient present. i was also told i’d be able to find out the gender through the bloodwork from the NP and midwife as well as the front office staff who seemed to not understand my question and blew me off. only for a couple hours later to find out i won’t be finding out the gender with the blood results as they don’t do it in office. they’re also out of network for me apparently and nobody made me aware of it. so now i have a nearly $600 bill for bloodwork and i still owe them money for a deductible when i saw the NP one time and got basically nothing out of any of the appointments i attended. the NP i saw was amazing i wish she could deliver my baby but the staff i think doesn’t have the best communication.

I had the best experience at the womens center. Mrs.White was the sweetest doctor ever and she made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be recommending this office to all my girlies.

Dr White was awesome, she was thorough, took her time with me and I felt like she really listened to my concerns. This was my first visit with her, I’m really impressed. Thank you Dr White it was refreshing to feel so cared about by my doctor!

The ultrasound tech and doctor were great. A nurse did announce to the lobby that my pregnancy test for a scheduled OB appointment were negative, which was upsetting as I’d just recently miscarried. Despite that I would go back because of the doctor and ultrasound tech, but I do think revisiting HIPPA & bedside manner could be beneficial for other staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nelson for 12 years now. She takes the time not only to address my gynecological issues but she addresses the whole me. If there is any concern she addressed it immediately, taking care of the matter herself or referring to others who are the beat in their practice. The staff is very friendly and respectful. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Absolute worst communication I’ve ever experienced at a doctor’s office. Not only can you not reach your doctor, you also can’t reach your location’s direct office line to ask a question, leave a message, ask for directions or let them know you’re running late. They have a call center that they field everything through which has made scheduling a nightmare.I’ve reached out twice through the portal to reschedule an appointment and still haven’t heard back and it’s been exactly two weeks since my first email.I also had an appointment scheduled with my doctor and called the day of to confirm something and only then did I find out that my doctor actually wasn’t even at my scheduled location that day. They said they tried contacting me but I only received automated messages saying I had a health reminder in my portal but did not have any messages about this change.I’ve seen Dr. White and Dr. Pena and both were great! But after such poor communication and constant frustration, I’m not going back.

Dr. Enriquez is thorough, experienced, and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to my concerns and asked many follow-up questions on my first visit, setting my mind at ease that I had found the right gynecologist.After Dr. Enriquezs retirement, I was worried whether I would get the same level of care. After my most recent visit, I was relieved at the great care and service I received at The Womens Center. I was well taken care of by Bijal Patel, who asks lots of questions, listens carefully, is gentle, and respects patient agency.

I’ve been with Dr. Enriquez for more then 15 years. She really cares about her patients. I have to say that I finally got over the fact that I do uncomfortable I always felt getting that annual check up. She is awesome and like family. I will find another doctor after she retires.

Dr. Nelson is great! She does a thorough job and makes sure all your needs/questions are taken care of. Highly recommend. Plus, the office is clean, well organized, and the staff are super helpful!

Dr. Enrique’s conscientious approach and kind bedside manner was sincerely appreciated today. Her practice addresses things that are highly personal and often sensitive for the patients, and my visit was no different so I was grateful and felt all my concerns were addressed as I left.

I was in the process of trying to transfer to this office and had a terrible experience. I wasnt contacted for over 2 weeks and I had to reach out to them as I was concerned about not having any direction or care when I had a question/concern. This is my first time being pregnant and the office I was coming from was so intentional and caring, I was shocked by the lack of care from the front desk at the Womens Center. I am aware that the insurance needs to be approved but they could have communicated that process to me so I was aware of why it was taking so long. I dont know how the care would be if I chose to go with them, but that initial experience was enough to turn me away.

Dr. Elizabeth Nelson is an excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable. Explains thoroughly. Takes time with you. Her staff is great. Especially her nurse a Tiffany. Recommend them highly.

This was my second appointment with Dr. Patel she was just as awesome as the first one. She was very attentive asked me a ton questions about my health and listened to my responses very carefully. I felt like a person and not just another patient.

I love having Dr Enriquez as my provider. She is always so calm, and very thorough with everything. The office is clean and the staff is always courteous. Dr Enriquez will treat you like a patient, and not a number. If you are looking for a good Gyn, look no further.

The Doctor is Amazing! I drive very far just so I can see her - I had an IUD insertion out in at another Dr and it was HELL- I had one just out in here and she made sure I was on my menstrual cycle and I literally didnt even know she had put it in! It was incredible!!!Shes obviously so much more knowledgeable than the previous Dr and it made my day so much better with NO pain! She extremely caring and so kind.BEST GYNO IVE BEEN TO YET and Im 36 ☺️☺️☺️🎉🎉🎉

$600 Pap smear!!!! If you are a Self pay patient please Run away!!! I called to make an appointment and inquired about how much will be for a Pap smear, they told me $250.00 (expensive) I went ahead and booked the appointment. The day of the visit I asked again what is my total due for today they told me $250.00 which I paid immediately at front desk. Nobody ever told me that I will receive another bill for almost $400 for labs. They should Informed patients how much the actual Pap smear cost so patients can determine if they can afford it.People be aware!!

Dr Enriquez is the best gynecologist in Florida. I drive all the way from Miami to Orlando to see her. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and professional. She spends time with you to explains everything. Her staff is very friendly. She’s been my doctor for many years.

I began seeing Dr. Nelson in 1983 as my OBGYN. She has always been knowledgeable in various medical issues, many times diagnosing a condition that other specialists did not. My trust in Dr. Nelsons care has never waivered in 37 years, whether it was pregnancy care/ birthing babies or gynecological issues requiring surgery. I have always appreciated the time she took to discussing matters with me and being completely thorough in my care. Ive been blessed having Dr. Nelson as my physician all these years. Dr. Nelsons eventual retirement will be bitter sweet for her patients.

Dr. Nelson was extremely thorough and personable. The staff was also very professional.I am glad I found this practice even though it took me over 30 mins to get there I will be returning for my annual wellness checkup.

Bijal was thorough and when I voiced my concerns she did follow up with an intervention and booked tests and blood work. She also conducted a breast exam and I had my pap smear done in the most delicate way, I am very sensitive so appreciate the care.

First of, the front desk staff is super friendly and make you feel welcomed so that is a major plus; but Dr Enriquez is just simply amazing. She sits down with you, listens to you, and discusses a plan of action. She doesn’t make you feel confused or as if the issue, if any, that you’re having is irrelevant and tries to sweep it under the rug. I was seeing a previous gynecologist for the past for years with no results, I came to Dr. Enriquez in hopes she’d have a solution and she did. I’m making her my permanent Gyno. I’m so glad I found her! Thank you!!!

Dr Johnson was nothing but amazing!!!! The entire experience was just a breeze. She thoroughly explained everything and made sure it was understandable. I will for sure be going back to Dr Johnson. The best GYN experience ever!

I would give the a 0 if I could. I have made two appointments at this facility to be established as a patient. They have sent emails to cancel appointments I booked over A MONTH AGO! They didnt even offer to reschedule or offer an alternative in one of their other branches.

My appointment was at 9, unfortunately waited to a little after 10 and was never seen by a doctor. I got the basic information out of the way with who I am assuming was a nurse, but after waiting in a room for an hour I had to leave for work. I hope this was a fluke but won’t be returning as I cannot cut out more than an hour of my day for a simple check up that consists of more waiting than the actual appointment would be.

The staff is friendly and helpful until you ask for billing information and breakdown of your charges. Long wait time even with an appointment. You can hear the doc visiting other rooms while you’re half naked waiting your turn (almost 45 mins into your appointment). The doc was ok. Couldn’t get a summary of a ultrasound performed on me even though I was told that I will get it by email. Everywhere I’ve gone, I get a 1-page summary on the same day. Now, I have to pay to get a copy. Never going back.

Ive been seeing Dr Pena at The Womens Center of Orlando for the last four years. Ive been mostly happy seeing this doctor once a year for my annuals for the last three years, so I decided now that I need OB care, why not stay under his care? At my first appointment with Dr Pena, he was excited for me. He said my lifestyle doesnt have to change at all, with the exception of now being my husbands designated driver. Nothing else had to change. I received no advice about nutrition, nothing beyond dont drink alcohol, and dont take ibuprofen. Ive had four or five doctors visits so far in my pregnancy and theyve progressively gotten worse. Dr Pena forgot who I was at one point, and that Ive been his patient for four years at this point. On top of all this, my experience with their patient portal has been horrendous as well. It took over four weeks to have a routine prescription refilled, with weeks of no response between messages. I need to finish out the year with this practice because of an insurance issue, and today I saw the owner of the practice, Dr Gearity, for a follow up of my Nuchal Translucency scan. He walked into my exam room not wearing a mask. He said I know, Im not wearing a mask, its in my office. and I said thats a great place for it to be. To which he replied well you guys are all wearing masks, as long as youre wearing a mask, youre fine. This is the owner of the OBGYN practice. Sir, my mask protects YOU. Your lack of mask puts me and my baby at risk.I thought seeing the owner of the practice would be a great opportunity to try to turn things around, but Dr. Gearity was infuriatingly dismissive about every concern I brought to his attention. He was defensive, and instead of taking this as an opportunity to be understanding and try to retain a patient, he dug himself deeper by being rude and condescending, even going as far as mocking my use of medication for anxiety by suggesting I take a pill when I consistently pointed out better, alternative ways he could be handling things. I cannot wait to be rid of this place, next month cannot go by fast enough. If youre a pregnant person, run, dont walk, away from this place.

Everyone in the office was very kind, and Dr. Johnson was wonderful! I was surprised with how quickly I was seen after arriving, especially considering that Dr. Johnson spent a good amount of time speaking with me.

Dr. Nelson is an excellent doctor who cares about her patients. She took the time to listen to my concerns, talk about my results and her evaluation of my health and any other concerns I had, and offer advice for reducing stress I mentioned.

Dr Nelson is the best gynoclogist that Ive ever been to. I feel like she really cares about my health and makes sure that I understand about my health care. Shes an excellent doctor.

I’ve been going to the gyno since 2005 and Dr. White is the first gyno I feel actually listens to me and what I want for my body and not forcing their opinions on me.

The worst customer/ patients service I received by the front desk personnel “ Kay “ she needs to be trained to be Polite to patient, guest / people. She is rude, nasty, and has a bad attitude she does not know how to treat people. She should be ashamed of herself for Ruining a good establishment with bad customer service. According to there policy, Patient can accompany one guest,. And to wait see there in the waiting room. They said ( Kay) under the CDC guidelines policies violating rules. I am full Vaccinated. Kay lied stating that according to the CDC guidelines I can not stay in the waiting room, (where it is not..she lied ). plus according to there policy( The Womens Center- Orlando) it clearly states, one guest is allowed to be in the waiting room.I am personally going to report this to CDC and the Florida Health Department.

This was actually my first time to this office and I was nervous, but the nurses and Dr. Nelson were so nice and friendly that I felt so much better. They made me feel comfortable and were very helpful, great job!

Dr. White is amazing she is the best doctor I have ever seen. She is excellent at answering your questions and she gives you plenty of time during your visit she helped me with scheduling other appointments I needed she is absolutely the best.

So Ive been struggling with menopause, and its symptoms, my previous gyno was no help. First time, meeting Dr. Johnson, she was caring, understanding and explained it all. Now I know I will feel better, and my husband will too.

Bijal was so understanding and knowledge. I came in for an annual, but thought I felt a lump. She not on did a full exam, but ordered a mammogram to be sure. She even helped calm my anxiety to explain the reasons for lumps that are absolutely benign reasons. All is well and I left re-assured.

Dr. Leigh White was very throughout and knowledgeable. I was recommended to her and she did not disappoint

Scheduling nightmare, legal but unethical billing practices, and message me if you want my opinion of a particular male doctor I would not consider fit to provide care to any patient, human or animal.

Visit with Dr. Enriquez went well. She is very detailed and caring. The front & nursing staff are great. Would have given 5 stars but the wait was longer than expected.

When MD’s are running behind, which is normal, I feel it goes along way to let the patients know. Sitting in the lobby for almost an w/o a courtesy update is not good, in my opinion.

This review is not intended to bash the whole women’s center, BUT Dr. Peña is the absolute worst OBGYN, he gave attitudes and challenged a patient who had a serious concerns, and he didn’t even check her for what she WANTED to get checked for..... he pushed a vaccine on her at the end of the appointment.... he does not deserve to be working in a practice what so ever if he’s going to treat people in this manner, it’s so sad people like him shouldn’t bring these emotions to an environment where we need professionalism.

Dr Enriquez is very knowledgeable doctor who takes her time , listens and sees patient as a whole person . I really appreciate having her as my doctor over a decade .

Biggest waste of time. I made an appointment filled out all the paperwork and the front desk wasn’t able to figure out the computer. They let four people go ahead of me and then told me she needed to hit cancel. An hour later I was still in the lobby and the receptionist says nothing but that she was trying to help me.

Felt very comfortable getting my nexaplanon removed by Dr. White and she was very informative about other methods I could use.
