This place is not only impeccably clean it has a very welcoming atmosphere, judgement-free and supportive. You can also tell the staff has a really good time working there and their social media is ON POINT. You make serious topics become light and approachable which allows for conversation and health care to take place, ultimately benefiting the community which is the whole point. Pineapple, You’re doing things right and I don’t miss appointments because Daniel always reminds me, Erik and Ethan and the entire staff is always asking me all the questions (even the stuff I forget to discuss). I will continue to come to Pineapple for my needs and refer my friends and family.

Pineapple Healthcare is unlike any other medical institution that central Florida has to offer. Immediately when entering the office, you’re treated like a long time friend or family member. Receptionists are friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. Erik and Ethan have been able to foster an LGBTQ haven accompanied with an all star staff! Daniel, Em and Kim make every appointment less of a chore and enjoyable instead. Not only are they incredibly attentive but proactive as well. I’ve had no issues with scheduling an appointment and yet they’re constantly involved in the community! I went to this clinic thinking I was in a safe place but Not.Interaction was not the best since they took my vitals, inside consultation room. During the consultation Otero asked me if I have syphilis 3 times also if I have any burn sensation in my urine. And I just told her I was there for a simple annual check up. Was a very uncomfortable situation because she was profiling me just because I’m gay looking at me up and down trying to find out if I have a STD. Will never go back to this person again

I have never worked with a more detailed medical team in all my years of going to a doctor. They truly care. All my blood work is reviewed completely with me then a plan of action is put into place with my complete involvement. They listen to my concerns and never make me feel rushed. A wonderful place for the LGBTQ+ community and anyone else needing Healthcare. They have HIV and STI testing and treatment. They also are a primary care and do Hormone Therapies. The lobby has a wonderful selection of reading material while you wait and water bottles. Jose was really helpful, if you have insurance or no insurance they can work with you and all your needs. Highly recommend, coming here for any needs or check ups. Pineapple lovers will also be in love with the theming. Haha

It’s a decent clinic for prep and std testing, when it comes to other health issues not so much. They NEVER follow up with lab results if it’s not related to std, example: high cholesterol, etc. their website is down a lot of times, u can’t even complete the survey they sent on the email after your visit. Forget about receiving a reply if you message a provider.

I always have a wonderful experience whenever I visit Pineapple Healthcare. They always take the time to thoroughly explain anything that I need elaborated. Dr Erick Suarez is by far one of the nicest, and funniest, doctors that I’ve ever had! Honestly, I was feeling sort of reluctant due to experiences Ive had with my previous health care system, but one of the case managers (Daniel) was very implemental as he informed me of the different services Pineapple provides.

I cannot say enough nice things about Pineapple Healthcare. The day before my very first appointment, I was separated from my job, which was where my insurance was with. I called, on my way to my appointment, and let them know what happened. Not only did I get to keep my appointment, but they found me temporary insurance for the time being. This is all on top of having an incredible staff. Andres, Daniel, Jose, Ricky and Erick are phenomenal!! I’m so glad I found them!!

They are quick and effficient.On top of everything you feel like they actually care about your well being. And they get you. Being part of the lgbt community they understand the risks. They understand the reality of our lifestyle. And you don’t have to get that awkward need to explain to your doctor what prep is. You are free to ask questions without judgement and feel accepted. Emma is amazing and literally makes me so happy I could cry tears of joy at feeling “seen”. They also make everything so convenient. One stop shop for all of your wellness needs.

After waiting for my primary care office at another medical center to get me an appointment for over a month, I decided to call Pineapple Healthcare to see if they had availability. I was greeted over the phone by a real person and was even allowed to make a same day appointment because of my urgency.Upon arrival the team there was very welcoming, addressed me by name and explained things thoroughly. I was seen by Dr. Erick Suarez who didnt come into the office, give me a 2 minute summary and then leave like you might experience at other facilities. He showed care and concern about my health and appropriately educated me in areas had questions. I have never felt more comfortable in a doctors office like I did at Pineapple. I highly recommend calling and scheduling an appointment with them as I am sure you will not regret it! Our health is important and at pineapple they take your health very seriously. They offer a variety of services and are LGBT+ friendly.(Their follow up calls are even more impressive as you are assigned a case manager who you can work with directly)

Used to come here because it was the only lgbtq friendly office around, but it’s not worth it. Your prescriptions and referrals are never sent, they never answer the phone, and this Jose guy behind the desk is obnoxious and oblivious. Such a shame

Eric is my go to physician! He meets you at your level doesn’t try to confuse you in medical jargon, is open and honest about all options, and you’re made to truly feel like he’s tailoring to YOUR specific needs. I completely trust him and will continue to use him as my primary as long as I can

Im not at all surprised to see 5 stars from everyone . When I came to pineapple I had no idea how to approach my health. After going over everything I felt understood and heard they took time with me real time the care and attention I received was healing in itself. By the time I left I felt better than I had in a while and had a plan of action for my health.

Dr. Suarez as well as Ethan in the front were very professional and supportive and took time to follow up. They have excellent response times with the ability to do tele visits with patients. Accepted Anthem/BCBS insurance when I went if that helps. Currently accepting new patients. LGBQT+ friendly.
