I have never felt so comfortable with opening up about private things that I have never told any of my doctors or nurses or any one else when it comes down to my true struggles. My appointment was only scheduled for 20mins. The entire staff from the security officer, front desk person, the secretary, nurses and even the Dr. all of them made me feel so welcomed and that my voice did matter. No judgment whatsoever by any of them. I was able to be truthful and open up about my situation and what I have been struggling with. So many resources for any and every type of circumstance. I was able to get bloodwork and other tests ( that I have been putting off for a couple of years now, too scared to get results or judgment) everything all right then same day! I ended up being there for a couple of hours! In fact I didnt even want to go back home when I was done because of the peaceful and positive energy from EVERYONE who works there. I cant wait to go back!

I have been going to this place since 2011 and when it was on McDowell and 12th st before moving here . I get my hormones from the pharmacy. Also you can get a good laugh . The people that work here are super caring and helpful . They do care about the patient and will go the extra mile . She made me laugh and smile . She said she was a fast sloth ....thank you

A great, welcoming modern facility with many clinics, service organizations & businesses focused as a one-stop for all & serving the LGBTQ & HIV/AIDS communities of Phoenix. Home of Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, Valleywise Health McDowell Healthcare Center, Avella Specialty Pharmacy, Aunt Ritas Foundation, One-in-Ten & more.

This place is an amazing huge community center. They have tons of services and groups that run here. They have a lot of health care services as well as rooms for different groups to hold meetings and events. They have an especially good church group for progressive church people with no church alignment. I went here to get some medical care and they have a bunch of groups and free services as well as other options. The here is amazing. They also have other small businesses on the inside. Please just be respectful as this is a safe place for people who need a safe place. I wish ultimate protection for this facility for all of the good that it has brought to the community.

I’d never been here before, didn’t even know it existed- til my friend invited me to an open mic event called Home Base (more info on the Facebook page). I had SO much fun!! It was a great mix of cultures, to hear the different perspectives. It’s def not your typical event- if you’re looking for an out-of-the-box way to spend an evening. A very nonjudgmental zone to perform your poetry. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised that there’s a bar! Great drink prices too.

I visited there for a First Friday drum circle. The facility was super cool and they do amazing things there. They have unique displayed art, and different activities that are healing focused and comminity based. Looks like a good place to get involved in all the programs they do.

This is place is full of wonderful people trying to make things easier for those living life with HIV. It is practically all-around medical services. They have medical, dental, counseling, groups and safe places for teens, case management, health and supplemental resources and their own pharmacy. The people couldnt be more loving and non-judgmental. Its fantastic.

Ive been stopping by every now and then and the business and staff hold true to help those in need. The people in the area are positive and give a genuine vibe that makes you want to smile. I cant say how much I thank them for being there to help myself and Many others. I believe that they hold true to help out those two need it and encourage those who seem lost. There is hope in this world we live and and its grand.

Come visit every 1st Saturday of the month for the Archwood Exchange black market. A lot of vendors with great food and handmade goods. From clothing to soaps and numerous tasty treats including cakes, cookies, pies and etc. Come with an empty stomach, believe me youll leave full with delicious selections ranging from Jamaican food to vegan. My personal favorite is Mickeys BBQ, the lemon cake and beef brisket are my favorite, they also have this delightful meat-less BBQ dish that is mind blowing. Its a great time and fun for the whole family.

Only steady place in my life. Ive been going here for 15 years since when it was located on McDowell. Great staff and doctors who go way out of their way if you give any effort. PCP, dentist, pharmacy, psychiatrist. All in one location.

Excellent service and very convenient. Everyone there listens to you well and are the most professional people I have ever met. If you have HIV then this is the doctors office I would recommend to anyone. They even have a built in pharmacy. ..

This is a medical facility (specialty care). This a clinic for people who are (H.I.V positive) , part of Maricopa county healthcare System. The staffing and the people who go there are really great.They treat you with the utmost respect and Care, they have a teen center also.

Nice friendly people. Had to pickup something for a friend. Everyone is helpful and happy. They greet you as you go into the building and make sure you found everything that you needed then wish you a great day!

Beautiful healthcare facility for the Phoenix HIV/AIDS community. Major funding was provided by GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons and his (trophy?) wife Renee which is at least one thing good that company has done. One negative is there are no snack/drink vending machines in the building which is a drag because clients often spend quite a while on their visits and I know Ive often wished I could get a bag of m&ms and a diet Coke (which my doctor recommends I eat daily!).

So many important services are housed here for not just folx with HIV but for our LGBTQ community. Today, I saw my case manager from Care Directions, who has her office here. The whole process of making an appointment, being reminded of it via the myhealth app through McDowell Clinic helped make this one of the most efficient meetings, in a long while.

Event planning here really sucks ....traveled quite a distance for an advertised event conected with IGNITE program and not one representative or security personnel could give me any information about what was advertised.Eneded up calling UBER and after a $45 trip home(from what should have been FREE event)could not help but being SALTY I wasted my FRIDAY!! Not the first time (2nd,3rd) time this had happend!😤

One stop health shop especially for the LGBT community. You can see a doctor a dentist a counselor get your prescriptions filled Ive even had Reiki done there. All this is off the light rail on Central and Roosevelt near shopping and dining.

Beautiful facility with an array of services. I was very impressed. Definitely going to spread the word of this lovely location. Came here for a training and it was great!

Great multipurpose Community connected spaces. Ive been there for a variety of things : from a Winter Wonderland formal event done by The Imperial Court of Arizona to dental appointments.

This place provides wonderful Medical Care for people with HIV/AIDS. And it also provides services such as Dental and mental for people with HIV/AIDS. It also has a great support system for the glbt community

Homebase Poetry was an awesome experience! I LOVED the closeknit vibe, and how we were welcomed as family. I will MOST DEFINITELY be back!!😊

Aside from being a Health and Wellness Center and an awesome advocate for the lgbtq community. Parsons Center also features the Phoenix Metropolitan Mens Chorus as its primary rehearsal space and sometime concert venue.

Attended Carnival, a fundraiser for One n Ten. Saw many fun performances and played Carnival games. I even won at RingToss. Lots of Fun!

Great community services. From primary doctors, to mental health and dental. A cornerstone of the PHX LGBT+ community. Straights welcome too ☺️🦉🦉

The Parsons Center is an essential resource for the LGBTQ community in the Phoenix metro area. The Avella speciality pharmacy, One In Ten, Logans Playground (outreach & programs for Children with HIV/AIDS) are all located in the Center. Logans... does Toys For Tots -- please donate.

A really nice and ellegant place and is super helpful to the people it caters too. And the helps addicts with clean equipment if asked.

I attended a benefit concert there. It was a good setting and the bathroom was clean & comfortable.
