When going into the clinic, I felt immediately at ease as Arielle was able to assist me in not only getting set up with health care needs the first time but second time already even remembered me as rapport was built. I felt finally a person in the field that cares instead of always being brushed off and rushed. If everyone else can be trained to be like Arielle, it would make healthcare have a better reputation. It took a lot for me to evenmake an appt as no one likes to go to the doctors but she has definitely made it so much nicer! Hire more people like her!

Today I want for cleaning my teeth I didn’t know that I was due a X-ray before cleaning my tooth and in my chart it didn’t say any thing about that , I sit in the waiting area and here ever thing that was discussing about me , yes I know because I herd my name, and that I canceled and I did not reschedule so I can’t do it today, I didn’t have no appointment for X-ray . Instead of come out to me and say this is what happened we’re sorry this is what happen sorry we need to do this before , you sit and discuss it do loud That I could say in the waiting area and herd then comes out with a big plastic smile on you face and yes I was told I have a appointment for one pm and I should be there for 12:45 and when I get their it was close for lunch .special thanks to Maria who take the time to explain to me what was going on which is no fault of mine I only show for cleaning my tooth

Sadly, I moved from another state and sought medical care here. Everything was fine until the doctor I was seeing left the practice to move out of state. Someone changed communication settings in mychart. I started missing appointments and messages. The provider wasn’t available for my appointment on 4/12. I rescheduled for telemedicine on the 18th but it was an in office appointment. I called 30 minutes after this appointment to see what was going on and I was told it wasn’t scheduled for telemedicine. They had the nerve to go in mychart and leave “notes and remarks”. At this point all I can say is this place is about money and greed. If you want to make comments in mychart also comment that you are incompetent to treat me like a human! This is a really sad place to seek treatment. Best of luck, they created other situations for me with medical care that make me really sad now.

In the years I have been going there, I have never once seen an actual doctor. They have no overall quality of care, and even the PA youre assigned to drop like flies and theres no way to establish any relationship with anyone if you need ACTUAL medical care. I even had to buy my own crutches after 2 years of them dragging their feet. (I need a double hip replacement, mind you). Now, they are refusing to refill life-saving meds because I could not get anyone to reschedule a follow-up after the last PA bailed. Its time to look for a malpractice lawyer and somewhere else to go. Id rather be sick than deal with these people any longer.

Watch out if you are transgender. I have been taking a total of 8mg a day of Estradiol (Estrace). Then I see this PA Connor J McIntyre for the first time, he runs labs and saw that my estrogen levels were over 600.Now he wants to lower my dose to only 4 mg total a day.So ladies if your looking for serious transformation and breast growth, stear clear of Connor. He is clearly not an endocrinologist and is in the dark for MTF transgender hormones regime.

Kortni Jones is a terrible provider on every level. What the other reviewer said about her is true. She is extremely self-centered, condescending, and dangerous for the patients. I do not understand how she practices at mcdowell. The frustration of having to talk to her when ill is unbearable. She has a very limited ability to listen. She must hate her job, or her patients because she holds the well being and health of her patients hostage.

I have to say that out of all the Doctors offices and medical facilities I have gone to over the years, the staff at Valleywise Community Health Center-McDowell is top notch. I am always treated with great care, smiling faces, and people that genuinely care about my health and that I have everything I need to do so. They always ask great questions and verify that everything is in order in regards to records, and my insurance.A special shout out to Elizabeth who went the extra mile to make sure my records, info and insurance was all in order. She made phone calls on my behalf so I could leave there, worry free. Thank you Elizabeth and thank you to the whole team at Valleywise! P.S. I love Dr. Patterson. She is amazing!

Love this location, clean friendly staff makes going to the Dr. a breeze.. not to mention the nurses are wonderful and knowledgeable. Even giving a blood sample does not even hurt.. they are great!! The dental clinic is wonderful DR SHAW IS THE BEST DENTIST IN THE BUILDING !

The service has gotten a lot better at this location. The can still be a bit stuck on their old ways of doing things which was not patient oriented whatsoever and still have some improvements to make. I get the impression when I cone here that the patients are a problem that needs to be fixed. In actuality we are the ones paying you for services and the dates times and availability of those services need to reflect the needs of the patient rather than the other way around. I understand maximizing appointment times and get as many patients in the door as possible. However your policies of cramming in every open slot isnt the best as there should be some slots unfilled as the day is unpredictable. Retaliation against your patients is never a smart tact to take as that could land you in some hot water so to speak. Because a patient is late or misses appointments is no reason to retaliate if it is then you are in the wrong business and we are are going to the wrong providerm

I absolutely love the care I receive from Dr. Armstrong. He is compassionate and caring, and he really takes his time with his patients. I never feel as if I have been rushed through, and he always makes sure that all of my issues have been addressed. I would recommend him to anyone that’s looking for an outstanding physician.

I have been a patient with this clinic, since it was the McDowell Clinic, starting back in the late 90s. I have received some of the best HIV care here. Without them, I may not be here today. 28yrs undectable.

A comprehensive clinic that address LGBTQ+ health issues. For a public hospital, I find them to be efficient, compassionate and considerate. They work to maximize your Healthcare benefits which is impressive given the volume they serve. The mobile app platform they use is fairly robust but certainly leaves much to be desired. This is particularly true of their appointment setting where I wish the rescheduling functions were better. Simply out, I trust them to have my best interest in mind.Bottom line, when I found out I had a serious health issue, I chose Valleywise and have yet to regret the decision. They addressed the person and not my illness and covered my health concern comprehensively.

Place is a joke! Valleywise charges your insurance as a hospital visit be aware. You may get a copay and they screw you over on a well womans exam and charge your insurance wrong and still dont get it right after you fight it. Stay away from this company. Super sad how they take advantage of people

Just had my primary care Dr. Leave Valleywise, again. I can’t build a relationship with a provider since they all seem to move on from this place after a year or so. I’m guessing the working conditions here are not the best or they move on to better opportunities.

I recently moved to Arizona scheduled a new patient appointment at this doctor this office. I got a call the morning of that my dr wouldn’t be in that day and rescheduled for three weeks after my original appointment. Then got another call that day that my doctor will it be in and rescheduled for a week after. Finally got to my appointment and explain to my doctor that The prescription I’ve been on every day for the last three years was about to run out. She wanted to do bloodwork before she prescribed it (which makes sense) So we do bloodwork and I come back for another appointment two weeks later. I explained to her in that appointment that my prescription had now run out. She makes it high priority and Sends it to my pharmacy. Insurance denies it because it’s namebrand so I send a message explaining that I need a non-name brand version for insurance to cover. After going back-and-forth with the doctors assistant I continuously explain I need a non-name brand and give them the Non name brand my insurance will cover. It’s been a while and the office keeps telling me they’ll make it high-priority but they can’t seem to figure out how to change the prescription to no-name brand or get a hold of the doctor. So if you’ve been on medication for a while and it’s some thing you depend on I would highly recommend not coming here because it turns into a game of telephone with everyone in the office. And you will never be updated on the situation.

My intake appointment was supposed to happen, however when I arrived, I was told the person I was supposed to meet with left Ill for the day. I would only be able to complete paperwork and labs. This was disappointing, as I very much need the services they provide. My next appointment isnt for another week. I received a call from Dr. Hartman, apparently some of my labs came back indicating concern. I was impressed that he called so quickly and not a nurse or MA. This alone was impressive.

Their switchboard is insane. The weight to actually get to a human voice instead of a voice automated operator is in the ballpark of 30 to 45 minutes. Good luck on trying to get a hold of your doctor! Ive been trying for 3 months!

Anytime I go to an appointment at Valleywise it has always been great for any medical to me its not like most places you see your doctor the Nurses are super and the front desk always so polite and helpful never have I been to a medical facility that didnt seem like one wasnt nervous like other doctor visits I dont feel no anxiety at all .

With as many health issues as I have, this clinic has made many great strides to care deeper than all the others I have had. Anyone living with HIV must get to this clinic! Kourtney Jones is the best!!

The sleek design of The Parsons Center For Health and Wellness immediately puts you into a relaxed, peaceful state of mind. It is always impeccably clean. Oh and I Love my Doctor!! Shes the best!

They dont even deserve 1 star, kicking long time patients out the door, when their in of medical services, they should be ashamed of themselves. Let me go 2 months without seeing a Dr. before I took matters into my own hands and found myself another Dr. Because during those 2 months I had the Office Manager telling me hed find me a new Dr. Thats really funny considering there are 4-5 other Drs. that couldve taken care of me properly.

A good place for Health Care Services, STDs and HIV testing etc, friendly and professional people ready to attendant to you. The installations are always clean.Just got my attention when I call for answers for an general e mail address (base e-mail conmutator) and they do not provide any.

I have been a patient of Dr. Posts for 22 years. Hes fine for regular maintanance and check ups, but I have had several major health concerns besides hiv that I was forced to look for help elsewhere. They literally WILL NOT return phone calls EVER to me, and last week the county Emergency Room emailed Dr. Post with urgent concerns that were COMPLETELY IGNORED. I was never contacted after they received the email, nor did ANY of my subsequent daily phone calls get returned. Frequent personnel turn-over means unfamiliar faces most every visit. I like Dr. Post but God forbid you need anything other than labs done; this place simply couldnt care less.

Super friendly staff here! Nurses and doctors are all easy to communicate with and are very knowledgeable. Id highly recommend anyone in need of this clinics services to register as a new patient.

But now after my doctor couldnt get to see her PA notes or just not getting it that the time I had a medical situation, till the time she could see, thats not my fault. yalls can never get a patient in right away. But its ur fault for taking responsibility for and believing in ur patient. N then the patient is disapproved from benefits n looses almost everything. Very arrogant and does not take responsibility.

Unprofessional. Cause harm through disregard of medical care directives of discharging hospitals. Apathy towards patients needs. Uneducated unskilled staff befoul even eliminate communications with impunity with no accountability. Dangerous for patients. Abusive medical neglect. Endangerment.

Was told by a nurse that brian Dr posts physician assistant said i should come in for a walk in appointment and finally after i been taken into room it has been over an hour ! Sitting in the room with 100 percent zero response or anyone or care . Always late, even if u show up on time they never keep their schedule, and i said i want to talk to patient advacate or administration and nurse threaten to call security and have me removed. I am literally pissed off . Because over 1 hour sitting in a room and no one at all has seen me at all yet . Thats just the worst service ever

Since COVID 19 a lot of elder Dr.s have moved to Mayo clinic giving the new interns to excercise there education. Great interns & & Professional Providers in all areas.

Formerly McDowell Healthcare...they are now located at the old 12 news building at Central just North of Roosevelt. Extensive resources here for those of us living with HIV/AIDS. They offer free STD testing and free educational tool, as well as free supplies to keep one healthy and bug free.You dont necessarily have to be infected to inquire and utilize there services. Dedicated staff and volunteers can guide you in the right direction no matter what you may seeking services for. Packed with resources and education this place is a diamond i think every city in America should have!!! A++++++

Lack of staff like Doctors and N.Ps. hard to get appointments. If sick and need to be seen by your Doctor good luck. Most the time you are told to go to Urgent Care. So much for good health care

Its called The Parsons Health and Wellness Center. Its a medical treatment clinic with offices of advocates, counselors and support staff. There is also a specialty pharmacy and a dentists office on site. Every person working here from Doctors to the volunteers are the nicest most positive happy spirited professionals Ive ever had the pleasure to know. Fyi... Im a patient here.

Location is awesome and right off the light rail. Not sure how I feel about the clinic itself. It is hard to get an appointment then I didnt even see my doctor when I went in.

Dr Post? Eeekkk run. I was so glad to be able to get into Dr Vangs clinic just before they discontinued taking new patients. I took some friends to Dr Cummingss his practice seams very busy but they definitely know their stuff.I understand that Dr Post has been there for many years perhaps retirement is best. I agree with the majority of reviews that the employees at the clinic really just dont seam to car. Its only positive aspect is that it gets you into the system. Then run away and find better medical care.The dentist there is AWESOME!

Always the best care from the greatest staff in a five-star state-of-the-art facility. Medical Director Annemarie Khalsa is a super-nice woman and a darn good doctor. Loud snaps for GoDaddy dude who gave her the $$$ to make the facility what it is. I hope he stuck some more funds in the bank to make sure all the Dr. Khalsa and more importantly all the other workers are well paid. They deserve it!

Get providers that reflect the community in which you provide care and the patients you serve! You “take a knee” but don’t have equitable representation in your own medical providers.

I had Severe Shingles REQUESTED A PRIMARY CARE M.D AND INFECTIOUS DISEASE M.D.I WAS ASSIGNED A PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT KORTNI JONES.SHE TOOK OVER 3 1/2 WEEKS TO GET A CERVICAL AND A THORACIC MRI APPROVED.ANY MEDICAL DOCTOR WOULD HAVE KNOWN TO GET ME REFERRED TO AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON. THEY ARE NEVER QUESTIONED BY INSURANCE.SHE NEVER WOULD LISTEN. AND HER PARTING WORDS WERE GOOD LUCK GETTING SHOULDER REPLACEMENT SURGERY APPROVED.I DID BY GOING TO AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON.HER DELAYS IN GETTING MY NERVE DAMAGE STOPPED CAUSED MY BODY TO IMPLODE.SHE NEVER EVEN CHECKED TO SEE THAT I HAD A COMPRESSED ULNAR NERVE IN MY LEFT HAND.SHE WOULD NEVER LISTEN AND IF YOU TRIED TO TELL HER WHAT WAS WRONG OR NEEDED TO BE DONE. This is the worst clinic. They advertise that they take walk ins but most days they dont. On other days their doctors call in and they cancel. But if you call stating you are stuck in traffic not only will they make you reschedule after seven minutes they will bill you and not let you be a walk in.

My experience here has always been good. My doctor, Dr Khalsa is one of the best specialist I have seen in a long time.

The nurses were great and the doctor take good care of you turn on the inside Clinic is very clean.
