I have been to this place saw Kendall great place and great Provider. I saw her for annual physical, I learned a lot from her. STI’s preventions, birth control treatments, explained details, I didn’t feel rushing and able to do my PAP smear with no issues. I will strongly recommend this place even though the location doesn’t look great but Carmen the staff are great from checking in to the provider Kendall.Birth control, STIs , annual exam and more …

Highly recommend this location. The Mas and Dr Tiffany are so sweet and amazing. The place is very nice and kept clean. Again I couldnt recommend this place enough. I will for sure return back here for my needs then other locations.

Go anyplace but here. Couldnt even be bothered to call my insurance provider to verify my Insurance. Other doctor offices do it all the time. Will never go to a planned parenthood again for services.

Called on the phone for an appointment and whoever answered the phone was very nice and understanding helped me get an appointment that same day. So I go in and the front desk women were very nice and clear on instructions. Wait time was mid which was okay since there were quite a few of us in there so it was bound to be a long wait anyways. I get called in by the nurse which honestly I wish I remembered her name because god damn bro. She tells me step on the scale and I do and she takes me to what looks like her office to ask me a couple of questions. She gave off a huge “I don’t wanna be here” vibe and had attitude the entire time of our encounter. I’m usually a very nice person and understanding. So I get people have bad days and whatnot but this lady was on a whole other level. I felt uncomfortable telling her my symptoms and it felt like she thought I was lyin or somethin by the way she acted and responded and I just really wanted the whole experience to be over and run out that building. I got tested by many things and after her asking all these questions she got up and said she was gonna go do the test didn’t say which one just upped and went then a few moments later came back and said “it’s negative” nothing more, not on which test that’s all I got. Then sent me to another room to wait for the actual doctor whose name is Tiffany and she was nice and easy to talk to about what I was there for. And it did break me to hear that I’m not in fact pregnant but the way I heard it from someone who just carelessly let it out so dismissively made it even worse. I hope nobody had gotten that nurses bad attitude the way I did. The topic of trying to conceive is very important to me and the way I felt like I couldn’t even confide in a place that is suppose to care for patients is crazy. I thought the reviews might have just been some Karens on here but do yourself a favor and read the reviews. Hope that nurse never receives results and news delivered the way she delivered mine. Do better.

Id give this place negative starts if I could. Carmen S. And the other girl who had her badge turned around at the front desk, were Horrible. Very rude. Talking down to us as if were children. The waiting room was hot. There are homeless people always outside leaning on the glass. The only person that was nice was Jessica the nurse. I would suggest to her to get out of that clinic and go to a better one. Where they have more respect and show kindness for patience.

1 honestly would give zero stars. I scheduled my appointment in a three way call with my insurance to make sure it would work. When I arrive the lady at the front desk named Esther started yelling at me saying she didnt schedule my appointment and it was a call center. I understood but I was still confused so I called my insurance and when they answered the phone they said they were startled by the lady yelling at me. At this point the three girls in the front started speaking Spanish and I felt very uncomfortable so whether my insurance worked or not I would not feel comfortable being in a building with such passive aggressive workers. I did not feel safe and they made my experience 100x worse. I really hope nobody has to go through what i went through today. Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve ever received.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I have never written a bad review about a place, but the service here was absolutely terrible. I thought planned parenthood strives to “care” for all their patients as its in their moto. The front desk lady (Esther) who is apparently also the manager, was extremely rude and didn’t care about her patients at all. I went with a friend and she called the planned parenthood and her insurance company in advance to verify that she could come there. We got there and Esther claimed they couldn’t work with it. She started yelling at my friend about the insurance information and how she doesn’t take it. My friend was on the phone with her insurance company while we were there and even her insurance provider asked about why the employees were yelling at her. She had extremely rude customer service and made me and my friend uncomfortable to even be there. Start making patients feel more comfortable in a place where patient care should be a priority, especially in a facility where women could use the compassion. Based on other reviews this place needs new employees with more empathy.

I really wish I was able to leave any type of good review for the healthcare service I receive when I visit Planned Parenthood, but regardless of location it is always the WORST experience ever. First I want to highlight that this Planned Parenthood is placed between a very high traffic Walmart and Big Lots, truly ridiculous that a health clinic-especially a Planned Parenthood, would choose that location because it adds to the lack of privacy patients have walking in. The receptionists at every single location could care less about their tone and how they communicate with patients, and that’s not encompassing the sheer lack of privacy during the check in process. Patients are expected to shout their information through a clear panel to receptionists who don’t care if the entire waiting room hears your information. If they decide to buzz you in to speak with you, it’s right next to the waiting room door where they continue to shout the reason for your visit-I promise I don’t need the entire room hearing the reason for my visit, actually ridiculous. On top of the lack of privacy, the length of time spent waiting for an appointment that could easily be 10-15 minutes is beyond me. While you receive unhelpful and disingenuous interactions with the receptionists, you receive the same from the providers which is disappointing. Patients are able to use MyChart to check in early and pay copays prior to the actual time of their appointment, but if I’m checking in early and paying early to arrive and no time is saved because I have to fill out all the same paperwork, and pay additional copays on top of what I’ve already paid-what’s the point of doing anything through MyChart? Overall Planned Parenthood needs a revamp of the physical locations and the staff.

Blue Cross Blue Shield is going to virtual insurance cards. My daughter goes for her appointment and is rudely told if she doesnt have a physical card she has to pay 400 dollars for the procedure and get reimbursed by the insurance company.They told her if she didnt want to pay the money, she could make a new appointment and bring a printout the virtual card with her......I should have told her to walk in and say she was her illegally and had no money. Would have got the medication for free and been treated like a victim instead of the enemy....

The ac in the waiting room was hardly functioning and there were a lot of homeless outside however I was able to get squeezed in with a same day appointment. Jessica took my issue seriously and actually listened to me which doesn’t always happen by doctors which is why I gave them 5 stars. The nurse and Jessica were both very thorough and kind. I appreciate Jessica reassuring me and providing me with as much information as possible regarding my breast exam and I now have a plan of action. I highly recommend planned parenthood.

The worst of the worst clinics. I had waiting now 43 minutes just to get my depo shot. They dont care the others time, why they schedule appointments if they will not respect it. I dont know if it is worst because I dont have government insurance, I am coverage with my employer insurance 🤔

I had the best experience at this location with my IUD. I was so nervous going in because I’ve heard so many horror stories but an IUD was a last resort for me after having complications with other forms of birth control. The lady that did my intake was so sweet when I told her I was nervous and said the insertion is painful but brief. My provider was Nicholas he was so wonderful. I told him I was super nervous and he gave me the option of him walking through each step during the procedure or I could tell him about my weekend to distract me. We chatted during the procedure and had a great talk and it was over before I knew it. If you go to this location asked to be seen by Nicholas. We need more providers in the world like Nicholas!

I really like Jessica, Id make her my PCP if I could. I liked the other doctor when I saw him too (Nicholas, I think?) I dropped a star because youre always there 2-3 hours minimum, even with an appointment. Also you have to fill out paperwork every time, even if you filled out the e-checkin forms and have all your info updated on MyChart, which is pretty annoying.

My first time , just left and I’m very happy! Been so scared to take out my nexplanon in my arm and Tiffany made it a comforting and easy experience with no pain. My only complain is the wait time when there was only one other person waiting. Thank you Tiffany!

I needed to be seen and the lady that checks you in says that it shows I have 2 insurances and that I needed to show her my main insuranced card to her and I told her that I have never used that insuranced before and go with my other one and she said that she cant help me but to contact my insurance company and tell them that I need my card before I can be seen. I was already frustrated. I just turned around and walked out the door. At least I had insurance?!? Pretty pathetic that I was turned away for no insurance card with a company Ive never heard of. This is why I dont like going to the doctors. Its that easy to turn people away rather then helping them out. 😑😑😑

I needed my IUD removed and Jessica was able to remove it with minimal pain. I’m so grateful that planned parenthood was able to accommodate us as we’re on a road trip. Jessica answered all of my questions and made helpful suggestions for birth control that was best suited to my personal situation. Thank you for the great care!!

I had a good experience here getting a mirena IUD. The doctor who provided the procedure made me feel very comfortable. The strings are a little short and cant feel them but it never got misplaced or caused issues.

The NP Jessica who placed my implant birth control did such an amazing job! She made me feel comfortable kept talking to me and had an overall positive attitude that made me have a great experience 😊 I requested it to be on my right instead and she was very respectful about it and just made me feel comfortable and listened too.

The receptionist was a little rude, she didnt let me finish talking and I noticed that she did that with the other female that came in. And she told me to have a seat and didnt even let me know that Im supposed to go through the door to have a seat. Like be specific how am I supposed to know that? But other than that the service was just okay.

The front desk staff were very kind and communicative. I felt comfortable when I came in. The NP was very sweet and the doctor was exceptionally knowledgeable and also made me feel very comfortable. Probably the best Planned Parenthood location Ive been to.

Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating! They followed CDC guidelines and enforced mask which I think is a plus. The doctors and nurses provided excellent service and really helped me with my questions. I felt safe, understood and helped ! The wait time was a bit long but considering how many people they were seeing, I didn’t mind. Make an appointment online, I wouldn’t recommend going in person as you might not be seen.

HORRIBLE customer service, front desk people are really rude and dont communicate. They said my daughter had to fill out paperwork in a water room away from me. They had her wait for 15min until my daughter asked when she would be seen, they said soon. After 15 more min (30 total) my daughter asked again and they said she forgot to fill out insurance information, which ofcourse she doesnt know plus they just scanned our insurance ID card. If they want extra information they should allow parents to fill out paperwork or atleast help with certain stuff before having the child go wait by themselves.

This place is absolute TRASH. Literally the WORST service I’ve ever had in my entire life. The front desk is rude and gets annoyed if you ask any questions and I had to pester them continuously to just get my results for my test because they said they didn’t ever receiver the fax from the place I received the test. However, I talked to the other place and they had faxed it multiple times. No one at planned parenthood did anything to try and rectify the problem. The worst part of all of it is that it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone on the phone there so I had to stay in hold for hours and call multiple times. I will never go back to a planned parenthood ever again. I hope this place gets shutdown. The only decent experience I had was the with NP Clay, who was pleasant and kind.

It takes a little longer than most offices for an appointment but the staff is very friendly and actually very fast considering how many people they get through. They were calling someone new back every 10 minutes. The doctor was very fast and somehow friendly and informative at the same time. He answered my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the prescription. Definitely make an appointment though, dont walk in. Often times you get turned away because they are very busy.

Rad clinician (Pam) and aloof yet effective staff...i went in to replace my IUD. it was a little difficult to find the practice as its located on the second floor and there wasnt really any signage outside of the building indicating that. once inside, the lobby was pretty chilly, so bring a sweater! i was early but checked in anyway. the intake staff was efficient. the assistant who took my vitals was aloof, but i eventually got her to smile and laugh! the clinicians name was Pam, who was a blast from the get go. she was efficient and thorough and immediately started laughing and joking with me and when she encountered a problem, explained it to me without me having to ask! she was also very thorough while giving me follow up information. ill definitely ask for her the next time i need to go in for an appointment!overall my experience was good. as with just about everywhere here in phoenix, customer service could be better with basic training and conversational skills, which would go a long way for clients who may feel insecure, panicked or desperate at their appointments, given the seriousness of reproductive health.

When I found out that I may have been exposed to HIV, I was terrified. I made an appointment with Planned Parenthood immediately to be tested. Everyone at the Maryvale clinic was so kind. They made me feel so much better and talked me through every step. This is honestly the best experience that I have had at a medical center of any kind. This was my first time visiting a Planned Parenthood, and I am very grateful that I chose to go.

My appointment was at 2:15 granted I was 5 minutes late but didnt ger in to the nurse & doctor until 3:15 and left at 4. Dont make an appointment unless you have a 2 to 3 hour block of time available. The front desk people that Ive spoken with (2) arent that pleasant but the doctors are good.

It is the first time in my life I have such a rude experience. You please be careful and check their hours first in order to book an appointment. I booked for 9:00am on Wednesday and they open at 10:00am. When I show up again they told me that they will have to see me at 12:30pm because they were short staffed. Most of us call in sick at work to come in and this office is such a waste of time. It is very disrespectful to us the patients. It is the worst health related place I have been.

Went to this location because the posted hours online stated they would be open later than my closest location; drove an hour through traffic to get there only to find the office closed early. Okay, that’s fine, I guess, but as I walked in the door an employee aggressively rushed to me and got in my face and told me they closed. When I asked why they closed early, she gave me a very condescending attitude and even went as far as to tell me it was my fault for not calling to check instead of believing the posted hours online. The entire time she did this, she was putting her hands on me and was more or less pushing me out the door. She had mentioned that the doctors had all left already, so I tried to ask if there was a way that I could just get my birth control refilled (since that’s all I was there for anyways) since I already had a prescription with them and the desk girls were all still there. I wasn’t demanding, just asking politely because again, I drove an hour in traffic just to get my prescription. She snapped at me saying “we already cashed out, what about “we are closed” do you not understand?”. I’ve never had such a rude experience in a doctor’s office in my life.I will never go back to this location. I don’t appreciate being touched without consent and given a condescending berating because they couldn’t keep consistent hours posted.

The ladies at the front desk and the other that took all my information were very kind. My issue was the clinician her name is Alma. She seems very sweet and will answer questions. Although, she prescribed me birth control pills. I had a variety of questions and all of them were answered with a short response. I needed more information about the pills because I had issues in the past. No details were given just yeah yeah and no. Comes to find out I needed to see a doctor immediately because of the horrible side effects. This is probably something I shouldnt be complaining about and I personally think she does a good job. It just felt like she was rushing me and didnt really want to answer any of my questions detailed. Now Im dealing with the consequences because I trusted her with her yeah yeah and nos.

Personal at the front office need training on how to welcome people, first time here and i didnt know what to do so i came in straight to the window and was waiting for someone to ask how can they help me, was standing there for about 2 min and nothing i knocked on the window until this lady said can i help you, i said yes i have an appointment she said sign your name and have a sit, then as i was signing she started talking about me with another nurse . Well i said this is my first time here she replies yes just sign your name and sit down all rude , need more training. If you dont know how to work with costumer service dont work here.

Went here to get a refill on my birth control, saw the doctor and tried to convince me to do iud and got mad when I said I just want to be on the pill. He was very rude to me and its sad that I come to a company that advocates for womens right and has a reputation of being somewhere I can go where I wont be judged or looked down upon. Ive always had a great experience, and I go once a month for my BC. Try and get there in the morning right when they open, and youll be fine. Make an appointment, thatll help too. They do a great job trying to get to everyone. Theyre just busy, theres a lot of people in this city.

Refused me care because I have no income and couldnt pay $125 upfront even though their website says they will not refuse you service based on your inability to pay. Wasted my time driving a half hour there and back home. Ive never known PP to charge if you cant pay.

I make an appointment and dont get service until 25 min after my appointment time. Keep in mind I have people waiting on me with kids burning gas because kids are not allowed in the waiting area. Then I was charged an unexpected fee. This place is full of trials and tribulations. I wish there was another place I can go. Waste, waste, waste of time...smdh

This place is amazing... The Office Manager and the Staff are wonderful, They are are kind, very helpful, funny amazing women.. They are down to earth real people, some may mistake rudeness for real but make no mistake they are great. OMG I so dont know what I would have done with out there help they made a awkward situation not awkward or embarrassing at all..
