Dr. Wingo was referred to me by my OB. Back in 2017 I was diagnosed with a massive precancerous tumor on both of my ovaries. I can tell you that she’s a very brilliant oncologist! I thank the LORD for her.

Dr Wingo was amazing with informing me with the best way to handle my surgery. She made it easy to understand the right approach to my situation. She makes everyone feel at ease and comfortable in her surroundings. Everyone on her team was also very helpful and made the whole process as smooth as it could be.

Doctor Wingo has a brilliant personality, kind, gentle and very approachable. She is also an outstanding surgeon. Very knowledgeable and professional. I had my total hysterectomy a year ago. Recovery was fast. Sadly I am still not cleared but I have all the confidence that I am in the best hand and will be looked after by her and her amazing staff. I highly recommend doctor Wingo.

Dr Wingo is an amazing doctor. She’s very straight to the point but she is a doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. She’s an amazing surgeon and very knowledgeable. I was referred to Dr. Wingo by my gyn in Prescott in June of 2022. At our first meeting, I was immediately put at ease by Dr Wingos calm and caring presence. I was very impressed with her knowledge and the down to earth manner in the way she explained my condition and the recommended procedure. She performed a total hysterectomy and did an excellent job. The recovery was easier than expected and her staff has provided great followup care.

Dr. Wingo is the most incredible doctor I’ve ever met. Brilliant, and kind, she made a very scary experience feel manageable. So grateful to have been able to work with her.

Dr. Wingo is absolutely the best! She recently removed my ovaries because there were cysts on them. She is so approachable, and has the most wonderful bedside manner. And her surgery skills are phenomenal. It was a crazy and anxious time for me, not knowing whether the cysts were malignant or benign. She made me feel so comfortable. Even if they were cancerous, wed put together a plan to fight it. They turned out to be benign, but knowing shes in your corner makes you feel so loved and welcome. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Theres nobody like Dr. Wingo. She is extremely knowledgeable and really dialed in to caring for me. She creates a safe space to get my questions answered which allows me to fully trust her. Theres a reason Dr Wingo has all 5 star reviews....shes AMAZING. I found out 1st week of July from the gynecologist that i had endometrial cancer. I was floored. I hadnt seen a doctor in 30yrs. She sent all my info to Dr Wingo, who then explained everything to me. Shes sweet, funny, makes you feel like shes known you forever. I just had a full hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. Im not gonna lie, i was petrified in the hospital but every single person told me how lucky i was i had Dr Wingo because shes the best in the industry. They werent lying. Surgery went fantastic, back on my feet in days and just found out today from her that im CANCER FREE. Stage 1, no spread. Love this lady!❤❤❤❤100 Stars from me.

Dr Wingo is the absolute best! I absolutely adore her! Her bed side manner is excellent. Dr Wingo is very knowledgeable and truely cares about her patients. Dr. Wingo is the BEST! I met with 3 different oncologists and by far Dr. Wingo out shined all the rest. She was the most detailed in her explanations of what treatment she proposed. She was so kind, gentle, soft spoken, she made me feel so comfortable in a difficult time. Her surgical skills are amazing and my surgery could not have turned out better. She is highly qualified, an expert in her field and comes with high praises from the hospital staff as well other physicians in and out of her field. I am thankful everyday that I found her, she is a true gem!

I was very nervous when I first arrived, but after meeting Dr Shana Wingo, she was the most wonderful, outgoing and understanding doctor I have ever met. Great bed side manner. She took the time to listen to everything that has happened, along with all my concerns. Dr Wingo explained in detail to me what to expect. I very happy to have met her and trust her completely. Thank you dr Wingo for taking care of me during one of my most frightening times in life. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer early in January and immediately sent to see Dr. Wingo within 2 days. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease as she explained exactly what would need to be done in surgery. 8 days later I was having surgery at T-bird hospital. Even the nurses expressed how great dr Wingo is. I was blessed and came out cancer free and have her to thank🙏 Although Dr Dalton has taken over for her at Az oncology I will always be so grateful to Dr Wingo. Dr. Wingo is an outstanding physician. I consider myself luck to have had her do the diagnosis and surgery. The surgery was done in the most up to date methods and believe it or not, I had no pain afterwards. Not even an aspirin. Im grateful to Dr Fernandez for sending me to her. He said she took care of his mother. That says a lot. Dr Wingo was down to earth, enjoyable, and personable. When I heard her husky voice on the other side of the curtain I knew everything was going to be alright. I will be always grateful for having her in my corner.

I was not lucky enough to have this woman find the cancer first, it was found in the er. I spent the first thirty days in the dark. I joined the cancer club but didn’t know the secret handshake. Thirty days of trying to learn from internet scare bait, 5 minutes of being in her presence calmed me back down to know this Doctor was my best chance to understand the cancer and how I personally will deal with it. I could not imagine going thru this without her.

Dr. Wingo is one of the best doctors I have ever met. When my mom was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, I went into information gathering mode. When it was time to discuss the diagnosis and a suggested plan of action, I was prepared with 22 questions. I was living on the other side of the country so Dr. Wingo conferenced me in for the conversation. She was so informative, I ended up only having to ask 3 questions which she honestly answered. My mom and I walked away feeling very comfortable with Dr Wingo which is really all I was hoping to get out of that conversation.When the time came for surgery, Dr Wingo kept me in the loop as to what was going on. The one time I wasnt in the waiting room, she personally called me with an update on my moms status.After the surgery, Dr Wingo had the cancer tested to see if it was genetic. We didnt ask for this. It was important to her because of me, her patients daughter. It warmed my heart.This review doesnt even come close to expressing how thankful I am for the patience and thoughtfulness Dr Wingo showed my family during a tough time. Almost a year later and my mom is doing great.

Love this woman to the moon and back. I had complications with surgery was down for 5 months. Dr. Wingo checked up on me every morning while in the hospital and called my home several times to follow up and make sure everything was going well. She truely genuinly cares about her patients.

I would recommender her a hundred times over. Her care of my mother and her time she spend with our large family discussion options was done with loving care with sound information of our options. She also cared for me and did surgery on me which I easily recovered from. She is an excellent surgeon and doctor.

No follow up from Dr Wingo after my surgery. My life is permanently altered because I did not get 2nd opinion. And my bladder was nicked during surgery with no explanation. Very disheartened.

I saw Dr Wingo for the first time a few days ago, and from the very second I walked into her office, I felt comfortable. The receptions staff was kind, friendly, made me feel like more than just a patient, but a friend. Dr Wingo herself......carried on that same demeanor thru the appointment. I asked questions, she asked me questions....it was very much a give and take. Her P,A. and surgery scheduler......hands down the best of the best.
