This office is awesome and Dr. Shalini is the best doctor Ive ever had! She is so kind, caring and thorough! I can tell she really cares about me and my health!!

I could not ask for a better experience. Doctor Shalini and the staff were all so kind, thoughtful, and efficient that I highly recommend them 100%. My expectations were met, plus some. Kudos to this group. I feel so lucky to have them treating me.

Banner Health Center on Greenway is a great place to receive primary care. I go there for priamry care and behavioral health counseling, and each of my medical providers is excellent. The providers and staff listen, are professional and compassionate. The facility is clean, and I rarely have to wait as my appointments are on time. Highly recommend.

The doctor seemed irritated and impatient. I get white coat high blood pressure. When i am giving a few minutes and I get calmed down it comes way down, which she did not seem to understand. Past doctors just gave me a few minutes and I was fine. I went home and my blood pressure was in the good range.

I have been to a banner for 7 minutes in the past and will honestly say I was not happy to care I received but my visit on the 17th changed my thoughts regarding that. I have a 2 year old daughter who has been to three different positions while I was trying to find her primary care pediatrician. I will honestly say Dr montion was absolutely hands down amazing with my daughter. She made her comfortable she acknowledged and communicated with her before we got started in our discussion so my daughter wasnt restless. She hands down has been the best doctor I have ever witnessed with a child since all three of my childrens births. I without a doubt will return to this banner office so she can continue to care for my little one. Thank you Dr montion for assisting me in finding a doctor that I can truly trust with my daughters health care.

Vanessa at the check out counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. After advising her I would not be making a payment after my visit and would be setting up payment arrangements, she began shaking her head and rolling her eyes. Extremely unprofessional, especially in this field.

The single worst medical clinic I have ever experience in my entire lifetime! First, they charged me over $300 for a scheduled doctor consult (everyone else charges $100-$140), made me wait in the exam room, alone without checking in with me, for over an hour past my appointment. No testing was ordered and a simple prescription refill for a non-addictive quality of life sleep medication required them to ask me to provide a urine sample despite no doctor order and without specifying who was paying for this unrequested test and without committing to promising my needed medications would not be withheld. I believe they were collecting clean urine samples to sell to other clients since there is no other explanation. Then they billed me again after I already paid and explained they had been hacked, so they dont know who has or has not paid any more. They told me they called me to schedule my next appt but they never really called, so they lied about that. When I call them back, I get an office on the other side of the city that refuses to allow me to talk to anyone any receptionist at any Banner facility, but they would pass a message on to them to call me back. They never called me back. So, I would have to get in my car and face the receptionist in the building as the only way to communicate with them and get an answer and, quite frankly, at these prices, they should be coming to my house and offering to compensate me for wasting my time. Finally, my doctor quit there (the only competent person in the building) and I expect to make an appt with him at his new employer. If I am ever dying, do NOT take me to any Banner facility. They do not honor the hippocratic oath and all employees display apathetic and dishonorable morals and ethics in how they speak, lie and bill clients.

New to the office. With the exception of the onsite lab, I really had a great experience so far. Unfortunately, the lab side was unfriendly, lacking in warmth, and the phlebotomist poked me way too hard. My veins are huge and impossible to miss, so I’m not sure what the problem was. Hopefully I get someone else next time.

I was replying to a voicemail my the doctor left about my previous visit and her assistant told me its easier to set up a quick virtual appointment so I did, and ended up being charged $171 for a “telehealth” visit that was 10 min long. Then I got a bill for the lab fees that were supposed to be included in the preventative visit. My insurance that the providers had to use certain codes so I would not get charged but they were not able to reach the billing department. This is since July 2023, and now I’m getting a notification that they’re sending me to collections. I’d just avoid banner altogether, I went there for annual physical and ended having to pay more than $300 because billing codes wasn’t right and they weren’t able to correct the codes.

I have been on the search for a good primary care doctor, for a really long time. Dr. Koike was very sweet and she listened to my concerns. Im still young and want to be in control of my health, without medication. (if possible). Dr. Koike explained every single one of my lab results, and I left with a better understanding. Im so happy that I found her :-)

Most of the time I am taken back to see the Doctor very quickly. The staff is always kind and cheerful. Doctor Shalini is the best primary care doctor I have ever had! She is caring about my concerns, gentle and kind yet direct and honest. Dr. Shalini always provides suggestions and solutions and acknowledges my progress. She also makes sure I understood everything we discussed and my follow up plan. She is truly a wonderful doctor!

Doctor Sirrine was super nice, very thorough, very professional, and showed genuine care for my health and well being. It was the best doctor visit I’ve honestly ever had not just saying that either. All the staff there were super courteous and genuine. Great place and very clean too.

Dr Gelow is the best PCP I have ever had. Referrals are always done in a timely manner, all concerns addressed, wait times are short, and the whole staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I’m sending my whole family there.

We spent almost a year trying to find a doctor that cares about LGBTQ issues. Thomas J Sirrine is the best. Professional, caring, friendly, funny. Even the general clinic are great, front desk, nurses, lab. Highly recommended.UPDATE FEB 2024: SHAME ON YOU BANNER HEALTH FOR LETTING GO THIS IRREPLACEABLE DR, AND DR RANDY GELOW ALSO. It’s very uncommon for people to write about their health visit publicly. But I am doing it so it benefits patients with good care.I primarily visit this facility for Dr Shalini’s care.I also happened to know Dr Kim, who is also very good.I would strongly recommend Dr shalini for any of the GP needs as she is very thorough, calm and explains all aspects very clearly and sets very clear outcomes.

Office personnel were kind, thoughtful & concerned, and efficient. Also the Dr. Is actively interested in patient history, to move forward in analysis of current healthcare.

Banner Health Centers are the last place you should visit if you value you time. No appointment reminders, they deny refills without reason, its nearly impossible to reach your Physician (or their assistant) in a timely manner, and appointment wait times are outrageous. Some of their physicians are excellent which is why I keep coming back but Ive just about had it with this location.

This was unlike my experience with any other physician office. From the front desk, to the nurses and other health professionals they are professional, friendly, competent, and most surprisingly respectful of the patients time. The care I received was exemplary and I was seen at the time of my appointment, a very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this Banner Health facility.

Kind, compassionate, efficient and professional. The staff and doctor Shalini truly seem to care and allow one to maintain their ‘Healthcare’. I appreciate the openness to integrative medicine and the time dedicated during my visit.

Dr Farber and Carla are a team I can ALWAYS count on to help me. They always return my calls same day and have made excellent referrals. I wouldnt want any other Primary Care Dr but Dr Farber. 2 doctors at this office saved me: Mammogram 2022, and 2024. CT stat order, from office visit to GO to ED! I listened to my signs and symptoms, and meeting my new PCP for wellness check saved my life, because she listened to me, took me seriously, and took action. Thank you

Patient of Gelow’s since 2020. The last three or so visits have seen a change in his attitude demeanor and seemingly wanting to dash through exams and gloss over topics. Recently at the beginning of the year neck left arm and shoulder issues have progressed to the point of severe pain and numbness at times. He refuses to authorize an MRI because the X-rays allegedly showed no issues. Referred me to an ortho surgeon who asked if I had an an MRI. Office manager I spoke to was rude and condescending. Meds aren’t working as they are aware. I’m already booked with a new doctor this week. I’m sure I’ll be hassled about the record transfer. His medical assistant also seems very lax and late in returning messages.

Ive had the same Banner insurance were going out in 14 years. There is not one month that goes by that I have to contact the insurance company because the billing is incorrect. The majority of my doctors are Banner doctors and it baffles me that Banner, doctors and Banner insurance cant get claims correct. Dr. Gelow and the staff go above and beyond on every visit. However, the insurance part just irritates me.

You wont find better than Dr. Farber and the office staff is top-notch too. I went in there one day when I was having a melt down and there was a red haired lady at the front desk (sorry I dont know her name, I was having a melt down) anyway she went out of her way to make me as comfortable as possible. I really appreciated that.

I will never return to this office again. I had been in a car accident and called to schedule an apt with my primary dr - julia farber and they said she wasnt available for a month and to just go to the ER. Then they sent me to the Mesa location as a emergency and they didnt address my issues for the car accident and just told me to see my primary Dr. Then I called them back and explained that and then when I explained they are now a liability to my health considering they were ignoring me as a patient and what I was needing. Then they scheduled an apt with the nurse practitioner - and the guy that took me in for my blood pressure and to check my weight was great - super friendly and professional - however that came to a short end. The nurse came in and said yes I definitely had whip lash. But she didnt do anything to help me with the pain and just said to get a physical therapist. Then she left me in that room and no one came in for thirty minutes so I finally wondered out of the room. They then told me their computer systems were down and to just keep waiting. Unfortunately I had other appointments so I needed to leave and asked for them to send me the details of the apt and they told me I can follow up myself. I cant believe how absolutely horrible that visit was. I will never trust them with my care again. Not only do I have whiplash - but I had my time wasted and no resolution and am still in a lot of pain. They should be ashamed to call themselves drs and nurses. Have no concern or care for others whatsoever.

We love our doctors here. Drs. Bannion, Garber, and Koike have been excellent every time. The nurses and front desk staff are wonderful, specifically Candace, who is so helpful and friendly.

Been seeing dr gelow. He’s awesome. Recently he was busy so i made an appointment with Amanda. I was in so much pain. She did X-rays for me. She said i would have the results back over a week ago. I’ve called everyday and she says I’ll call u back. She’s very nice but when it comes to the care she don’t have it

I was referred to Banner Health and Dr. Alka Bennion by a friend. Mayo no longer treats wellness visits. Well, that worked out ok. The office is 2 minutes from my house, is clean, efficient and quick. Dr. Bennion was thorough and I liked her way. Ive already referred her to others.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Dr. Bennion really listens to my concerns and questions, gathers information from labs and testing, explains what’s going on in my body very clearly, and helps my body become healthier. I am so happy to have found her!

I just want to say that I am very dissapointed by the services provided to me and the way I was billed. I came for an annual visit, covered by my insurance, and ended up paying for 2 visits because I had questions in regards to my health. I believe this is unfair because I was not advised of this previously. Its interesting to know how we are to stay silent during our health visit in order to avoid fees, like I said I was not informed that I was going to be billed for a follow up and an annual visit on the same appointment. I believe this is unfair and should be prevented for other patients visit. As for me, I would rather not come back to a place that is not honest or considerate in the way patients are treated. I had this annual visit in March and was advised that the billing department will look into correcting it. I had to pay for my labs separately, labs that were part of an annual visit but billed as a follow up. The billing department practically just washed their hands with this is an insurance thing. I remember the insurance saying this is up to the provider. Anyway, hopefully you will be more mindful and honest to your patients in the future.

Everything is always great when I come in for an appointment. The offices are clean, friendly staff, relaxing and love my Doctor.Thanks for all you do :)

10/5 stars for Dr. Gelow and his staff. Always super quick to address medication refills, messages or any of my other concerns. I’m also very happy I found a primary care doctor that I am comfortable with. Dr. Gelow is very personable and easy to talk to during what might normally be an uncomfortable situation! I also like that he is closer in age range to me than some other doctors I have seen. Highly recommend him to anyone!

I set up an appointment three weeks in advance because, as they told me on the phone, they were quite filled. Three days before my appointment, they told me that the position would be out of the office that day and try to move it later and I said that was unacceptable. They moved the day earlier at the same time, which I was happy with. I asked several times to the original scheduler about pricing as I do not have insurance and was told they could not give me numbers over the phone. When I receive the call to move the appointment, they could tell me no further information as it was later told it was an outside company.I showed up for my appointment at half an hour early as requested, they were about to check me in when they asked about my insurance and I told them I was self pay. They said it would be a 30% discount which I thought was very fair until they showed me the prices. Extremely expensive to get established and ridiculously expensive for a basic appointment. I told him it was cheaper for me to go to urgent care. They said that was my decision and I asked them to cancel my appointment.If they had been honest upfront about the pricing, I would not of wasted three weeks of my life waiting for the appointment and then quite upset to see the price gouging involved.If needed, I’m going to find a much smaller family practice where they actually care about their patients. Very disappointed.

Dr.Alka Bennion has been taking care of me over this past year. She is absolutely amazing! I have never had a doctor care so much and be so polite. She remembers me and my previous appointments from months ago. She’s extremely knowledgeable. She has inserted 2 IUDs for me and the pain was minimal, she’s magic haha I would recommend her to anyone and everyone :)Thank you

Being new to Phoenix this was the first place I could get an appointment. Everything started out well and I had high hopes for my visit. After seeing the doctor to my astonishment I was told I am “overweight.” The doctor followed this up appropriately by stating that because you’re young I don’t believe this is concerning, which is an appropriate response as the BMI scale is not as accurate for individuals who are younger and more active. Upon review of my paper work they had my height listed as 8” shorter than I really was. Having caught this detail, I asked them if they could update my height so that it was accurate in my file. They came back again and still had it listed incorrectly, and when I had mentioned and referenced my own height a third time, they finally measured me again, and who would have guessed that I am not overweight but that the information was entered incorrectly. No worries, I understand things happen, but as someone that works in health care this was concerning to me as accuracy of patient information is crucial for quality of care. Fast forward, I am now getting labs drawn and the lab person asked me if I had two insurances. Again, this caught me off guard and I stated “No, just the one.” Turns out, someone had stapled someone else’s insurance information on the back of my paperwork. I do understand that things happen and having an influx of clients can be overwhelming, but I will admit that as a health care provider myself this was disheartening as medical privacy is a crucial part of what we do. Overall, I am not very pleased with my experience, and I encourage others that choose to go here to double check all their information to make sure it’s accurate.

I have been with Banner and my GP for years and I would never change! The doctors and staff are very good and give genuine care. I loved my experience. That’s something for go to the doctors:-)

I visited to have a simple blood test for life insurance. I was told I would have the results within one or two days. Five days later I called, and was told someone would follow up. Nobody followed up.Seven days after the initial appointment I called and was again told someone would follow up. The following day I received a call that advised Id be receiving another call later that day with the results. I did not receive the promised follow up call.On the tenth day after the appointment I called and was told the physician was seeing a patient but would call as soon as the meeting was over. She didnt call.On eleventh day after the appointment I called and the receptionist said that my file indicated I should be receiving a call on the ninth day. After confirming and agreeing that that day was two days ago and that I had not received the call, I asked to be provided my results. Again the doctor was not available but I was promised a call. I promised to call every hour on the hour until I was provided my results.On the third hourly call, I won and was given my results which could have been e-mailed or uploaded into my MyBanner account a day after the test.Thankfully Im healthy and dont have to deal with these fools ever again.Its not surprising we cannot stop the pandemic when our medical system is operated with this level of incompetence.

Julia Farber, M.D. is my doctor at Banner Health Center. She is just wonderful. Shes smart, thoughtful, and she inspires confidence. I am glad to have found her.

My fiancee has been a patient of Dr. Gelows for almost 2 years now. I have gone with him to every appointment and Dr. Gelow is absolutely amazing! So polite, knowledgeable and very funny! (Not to mention a very great wardrobe! Always looking wonderful! ) I just love that my fiancee has found a Dr he likes and has helped him so much!! Dr. Montion is the best pediatrician. We absolutely love her. I have 4 daughters and she is wonderful with them. We have been seeing Dr. Montion for about 13 years now. I promise you that you will love each and every visit with this amazing doctor!

The doctor was more interested in her paperwork and keeping to the allotted time than in my medical problems, at 81 I have a few. I called, had to wait 20 min. to leave a message. They called and told me to call medical records (wanted my chart for new doc) after a 45 min wait with we will answer your call soon ringing in my ear I hung up. Avoid them.

I am disappointed that my 2 prescriptions was not called into Costco as requested! Too many calls to office and pharmacy’s, running around to get my Rx. My adult life for 40yrs, and this never happened to me, the lack of service-following thru to send my Scripts to pharmacy was a FAILURE! Front office was nice, Dr Farber was great, love Dr Bennion, Regina at the lab was the best ever! Most frustrating day, and dealing w/infected-purple thumb

Dr kaoki takes the time to listen and took care of my needs. She gets booked really fast and I have to wait but it’s worth it. This is the best primary care provider I had in a long time

They care more about masks and vaccines and cramming that down your throat than they do actually whats wrong with you. In fact my Dr that I was referred to refused to see me after I drove from three hours away because of my medical exemption. I had to wait for a different Dr to see me. Im going to be speaking with a lawyer about it. I feel like I have been discriminated against based upon my disability.

We absolutely love this facility! Our entire family of five use the practitioners at this location! We see Gelow and Montion and we couldn’t be happier! The front desk staff and nurses are all also incredible and have OUTSTANDING customer service!

I saw FNP Thadbring Downing today and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to all my concerns and came up with an awesome game plan. It’s been a very long time since I have felt “heard” by a provider and today I left feeling like I was truly cared for. Thank you Ms. Downing for being awesome!

The best healthcare facility I have ever been to. From the front desk staff to the actual doctors, it is clear that everyone truly cares and wants to make your visit the best possible. I am truly grateful to everyone in this office.

I love this facility! All 3 of my children see Dr Montion she is the only doctor my kids will be seen by they love her. We followed her to this location when she left the other pediatrixs. Im coming way from the west valley to have my kids seen by her. I love her shes an amazing person and she truly cares for and about the kids!!!! thank you Dr Montion!!!

My family has seen Dr.Gelow, Dr.Bennion, Dr.Koike, and Dr.Montion since 2018 and they have all been fantastic to work with and helpful both in person and on the patient portal! They are fantastic doctors and worth the drive from anywhere in the valley!

They care about process over people and their process is a dismal failure. I was trying to get a refill on asthma medication since I was recently exposed to COVID. I was trying to avoid in person contact so I wouldnt spread COVID but the Banner online portal and phone systems were a HUGE waste of time and the one human I spoke to basically lied to me. So I went to my medical facility in person and found out my primary care doctor was out of office. Then they said I needed an appt to write me a script for my asthma medication even though Id been seen at this location by my primary care in the last 6 months and they have all my medical records indicating a history of asthma on hand at this facility. Ive really lost trust with this health center and more broadly Banner Health in general through this experience. COVID is being spread because of inept medical process like the ones demonstrated by the staff at this facility.EDIT: Its interesting that I received a faster response to a public post on Google over private messages through the Banner web portal... Anyways, I appreciate the follow-up and thank you for sending me my prescription.

Dr Gilo has no customer service abilities. I cant say what he accused my wife of or put her through on here. But when she comes Home crying because her experience with him from her office visit. The patient is his customer and he has no customer service skills. He should take his diplomas and certifications to the nearest restaurant and use them to dry the dishes because that is what they are worth. We will never be seen in this office again. I hope this helps someone to not use this doctor.

Never again. They scheduled my wellness check weeks out, it was cancelled without my knowledge and when I showed up to my appointment I was told the only other option was another month out. Needless to say, going to see a private practice moving forward. Hope this helps.
