I highly recommend that you make sure to have your hard copy of your lab order and call before heading to your appointment at this location. It’s not unusual for their internet to be down causing them to have to turn you away unless you have the hard copy. Not their fault, probably just the nature of their location.

I had a frustrating experience at Sonora Quest Laboratories. I made an appointment online for routine blood work, received an email confirmation with the time and date, and thought everything was set. When I arrived, I signed in at the kiosk, but once they took me back, they insisted I had no appointment for the actual lab work. I showed them my confirmation, but they told me it was only for the appointment, not for the test itself. I asked them, “How many people make appointments and get no service?” Their solution was to send me back out to the lobby to fill out several pages of forms. Overall, very disappointing and inefficient.

Don’t show up here at 6am for a drug test they don’t do them till 7am!! NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DOES IT TELL YOU THIS! You can’t call because no one will answer a phone and they will straight up ignore you until 7am even though NO ONE was here!!!

Unlike other locations, this location does not post online that its by appointment only. Drove all the way here to find out no walk-ins allowed. Very aggravating. The location near has over a 2-week wait to get an appointment.

I recently had an appointment to have blood drawn. I forgot to bring my doctors orders. Barbara calmly contacted my physician and got his office to quickly FAX the order to Sonora. The young woman who took my blood was a joy. When I was done, I actually stopped at a store and brought back cookies for the office staff. As I told them, kindness and professionalism are always appreciated.This is the second time that I have gone to this particular location. It is worth the extra miles to get such outstanding service.

The front desk staff at this location needs a MAJOR overhaul. I was there at 7am had the following experience:Upon being greeted the woman asked how she could help. I stated my doctor had faxed orders to this location and I was there to have blood drawn. Right away she asks me for my paperwork?? So I repeat that my doctor had faxed it. Then, she rudely asks for my insurance card… as if my presence is an inconvenience to her?I overheard the same, very loud receptionist exclaim “I am SO done with people!!” after ending a phone call. This is all with a very full lobby of people literally depending on this woman to fulfill their lab requirements.The same receptionist called another patient to the window and asked her ethnicity. When the woman didn’t understand what she was asking she loudly asked “are you Asian?!”. The patient laughed (sarcastically) and stated she was not. When the same patient didn’t understand the receptionist’s questions about sickle cell the receptionist said “if you don’t understand what I’m asking, I’ll assume you don’t have it”.The fact that this woman is lacking professionalism, and the ability to collect our personal information in a private manner… perhaps, she shouldn’t hold the position she does.

Incredibly friendly and professional staff. Very busy office with small waiting room.Be sure to book an appointment for timely service. I made the mistake of not booking an appointment on a Friday morning, I arrived 5 minutes before the office opened to find 7 other people decided to do this too. The staff actually came outside early and started processing paperwork which did help move the line, but I waited almost an hour before being seen.Use their online portal to get appointments, pay your bill, and get your results.

Very nice people. I was questioned on my ID as if I was an underage kid trying to get into a bar, not sure if that’s protocol or just my personal experience. The wait was horrendous and I was advised not to make an appointment when I called 2 days beforehand. I wish I would’ve because I was an hour late to work. I waited for 30 minutes before being seen. I expected to be able to get in an out since it was a simple employment drug screening and I was advised not to make an appointment, again I’m not sure if the “just walk in” suggestion was protocol.

I went to this location on my lunch one day as a walk-in. The lobby was full so I made an appointment for the following day. I arrived on the day of my appointment over 10 minutes early. There were two other patients in front of me. One lady was noted on the cue as #1. When I checked in, I immediately jumped to the 2nd spot as I had an appointment and the 3rd patient was a walk-in. After the first patient was called back and had left, the office skipped over me and called the 3rd patient back. At this point, it was over 10 minutes past my appointment time. I approached the reception desk and voiced my concern. I was told that she had been waiting for 45 minutes. I immediately cancelled my appointment as it obviously didn’t matter. Don’t go here if you’re a professional; you won’t receive professional service and you will end up waiting regardless of whether or not you had the foresight to make an appointment. I work in healthcare and found the service to be substandard.

I made an appointment online, and when I went to check in at the kiosk, the machine would not work. The lady at the desk noticed and helped me right away (5 stars to her!) I didnt have to wait long as no one was in the waiting room when I arrived. Unfortunately the phlebotomist wasnt very good at her job. I have had many, many bloodtests in my lifetime. This time, it hurt (usually I dont even feel the needle stick). I left, and when I got to my car, my arm felt wet. I was bleeding through the cotton ball and the tape. The tape was unsticking because of all the blood. My vein was popping out and all swollen. What a mess! This has never happened before in all my years of bloodwork! I thought about going back into the lab, but was feeling okay so I drove home. Once at home, I felt very ill and passed out twice. Very grateful that I didnt pass out while driving. Feeling better now, but I have a giant bruise and swelling at the site of the needle stick. Definitely will NOT be returning to this Sonora Quest; Ill stick to the one at my primary care doctors office!!

I love that with Sonora Quest you are able to book all appointments online and the website is easy and simple to follow. This makes booking and/or canceling appointments very easy! The facility is clean and the staff there is awesome, very helpful, and so friendly. I also love the fact that I can see my results through the website and look at them at my own convenience. This place is amazing!

The woman who did my blood work was excellent. She knew I was nervous because the last person I went to could not draw my blood. My hand was all bruised. I recommend them very highly.I did have problems with the check in computer because of my eyesight. I was nervous, but I should have just asked for help. Next time I will.

First time there. Had no problem whatsoever. Barb took good care of me and I barely felt the needle stick. Didn’t have to wait much at all to be seen. I went on a Friday, mid AM. Plenty of parking also. Would definitely go back if I needed to.

The last two times I had gone to this very convenient location, the first Phlebotomist refused to use a pediatric needle per my request. The 2nd Phlebotomist was moving the needle around, missed my vein and had to draw from my other arm - felt sick all day, and left TWO bruises. I have very easy veins to work with. No thanks! I will drive to Glendale to have my blood drawn rather than this butcher shop!!

Staff is nice and have always had a good blood draw. The issue is everytime I go in there Im nowhere to be found in their system. They sure get paid every time. My doctor sends multiple orders and they lose them without fail. No electronic copy and no paper copy. I literally have my blood drawn at this location 8-12 times a year. The same order. Yet once again I go in and they have nothing in their system. I called my doctor days in advance to make sure she sent it months ago and they have it on file. She did. Sonoras response, keep a paper copy on you everytime. Really? Should I tattoo it on my arm so you dont lose it evey month??? Very frustrating and completely ridiculous.

Horrible customer service. Every employee makes you feel as if you’re bothering them by being here giving them a job to perform. Its very obvious that they are either not paid enough or have a terrible manager. The guy behind the counter has had an attitude and been completely rude to every person I’ve seen him speak with since I came in. I stepped outside for less than 2 minutes to take a phone call only to come back in and see that my name was called then removed from the list. When I asked the man behind the counter if they had called my name when I stepped out for a call he said “we called Patrick and no one answered so we went to the next, put your name back on the list.” I called prior to coming to make an appointment and instead I was told come now and your wait will only be 15 minutes. I’ve been here 45 minutes now and will be late going back to work from my lunch break. Go to the happy valley location if you MUST use this company.

I went in for a drug test and dealt with a rude unprofessional named KIANAI attempted to check myself in when she started talking to me with an attitude. She started quizzing me on my address lol say ok ng this was protocol for this company. I couldnt remember my old street name and she gave me a difficult time and then she rolled her eyes and put my id down. I told her that she was rude from the jump and she started being nice to everyone after me. Management needs to have a conversation with this lady sitting up Front as she is the first impression and her mannerism SUCKS. Unpleasant Rude and condescending

Very efficient staff, helpful when my lab orders were not in the system, after my Dr uploaded the lab orders, I signed in and only had about 20 minutes until I was called in. (You can see your name on a screen) The phlebotomist Barb was great. Probably best to have an appointment but worked out great for me today.

Fasted to 10 am showed up and was told my toddler couldn’t come back during my blood draw so I’d have to get a sitter and come back. Never was I notified prior on their website. I even made an appointment and this was not disclosed. They said a kid ate something once back there. Why aren’t things properly stored? I work in the ER and we allow kids back we just lock all our dangerous medications up. Went to Lab Corp next door so it all worked out.

Chances of the staff answering their phone is slim to none, everytime. Of course you have to listen to minutes loooong message with every single holiday observation/being closed, and yes, once you leave them a message you, your chances of getting call back are just as good as them answering your phone call in the first place. Not impress!

Dont go here!! The morons who work there had me sit in the waiting room for 45 mins before even asking me for my insurance card only to tell me they stopped accepting my insurance. LabCorp right next door took me in n accepted my insurance right away before having me sit down. This Sonora Quest needs a new system or most likely needs new management. Incompetent n very uncaring/unfriendly workers there. Again, dont go there, u will regret it

Both times I’ve gone it’s never crazy busy, lucky me considering both times I’ve been a walk in . Easy check in nice staff and quick to get us in and out! You can also book an appointment online which I think is pretty neat as well!

Had a nice experience -friendly tech and check-in staff. The Electronic check-in was confusing for those ahead of me and front desk personnel got a bit aggravated; another customer ended up helping the gentleman do it correctly.

I went there last Wednesday for a drug screening test. Test was void because the lab screwed up. Now i have to go back to do it again. Unacceptable!!! Their business is to analyze specimens. They cant even do that right.

Excessive waiting times, incredibly rude behaviors and poor phlebotomy technique. Could this place miss the mark in any more categories? I contacted the corporate office to complain via e-mail because of course there wasn’t any phone option: no one ever returned my messages. Skip this place and try Labcorp instead.

Dont go there for tests if you are on a deadline, even if you have an appointment. The lobby is full of walk-ins for sick kids. I thought it was just a testing lab, not a doctors office. Wasted my time.

Signed in and waiting an hour and a half for someone just to get my order and insurance card. Turned out the over looked me and crossed me off their list! To add insult, I had went up to the desk after being there an hour and they curtly told me I will be called soon. I will never ever go back to this Anthem location again
