Desert Foothills OBgyn - Dr. Julie Davis-Best

I had spent 5+ years in pain, saw 2 other gyns before finding Dr Davis-Best. She believed me and did the necessary steps to discover the cause and ultimately treat it. Ive never felt more seen and heard by a Dr. She continues to educate me along the path to recovery and normalcy. Forever grateful for Dr Davis Best and her amazing staff who are all so kind and helpful.

Dr Davis Best took great care of me in my pregnancy. I ended up with complications postpartum and she took it very seriously and got me admitted to the hospital to address it right away. I’m so grateful for her!

This was my fourth child and Dr Julie is by far the best obgyn Ive had. She is punctual, caring, sweet and professional. She took always takes as much time as needed and listens to your wants and needs. My delivery at Banner Ocotillo was swift and she kept me in good spirits. Im so lucky to have had her as this was my last baby. 10 stars!

I am very thankful and I just cannot put into words that how much I appreciate Dr Best. Ive been her patient since last year. I had a really tough pregnancy and she was always there to support me whenever I needed her help. Ive been through a lot during my pregnancy and after the delivery, as I had Preclampsia postpartum which she did the treatment for it. Dr Best is a good listener. She even used to do my counseling whenever I felt down because of my health. Trust me you guys she is a very nice and friendly, down to earth person if you get to know her. I couldnt have ask for a better doctor than Dr Julie Davis Best. She truly is Gods blessing on this earth. Ive never met a doctor who is so empathic towards her patient. She has a heart of gold. Even her staff Mary the nurse and Amparo are very helpful people. Dr Best and her team is now like a family to me. She is one of the persons I cannot forget as she emotionally supported me in my hard times. She even takes time out to listen for the patients wants and need.

BEST OBGYN EVERRR!!! Made my first pregnancy a breeze!!! The personalized care was excellent! Not only did she help me in person but if I had a question or concern through the portal, she was able to get back to me a couple hours later! I love love love Dr. Davis-Best energy. she is so bubbly and happy all the time! Shared so many laughs! Made every appt so enjoyable and made sure baby was healthy! Delivery was absolutely beautiful and so easy with her! She made the stress all go away by the way she coached me through till baby was here! I highly recommend Dr. Davis-Best! Side note: the office staff was EXCELLENT and so friendly too! I love you all so much! Thank you for such a wonderful first pregnancy! Can’t wait for baby #2 with yall (:

Dr. Best is awesome! Shes been helpful with my menopause-related issues and is always kind and truthful which I respect. I live 2 miles from her office and Ill continue to see her for the imminent future. Highly recommended!

I have been in the care of Dr. Davis-Best since March 2020 until presently. Shes guided me thru my pregnancy with our son and also guided me in bringing him into this world. She gave me the confidence and support that i need during my and after my delivery, She has been there for me not only as a professional but personal and guided thru my life changes, she always makes herself available for her pations, she is a great confident and reliable person. Have been busy with my baby and did not write a review for Dr. Best. She is great. Many doctors will get you over-worried about unnecessary things to minimize their responsibility. Dr. Best would only let you worry about things you should be worried about.

I feel compelled to write this review because this office will not stop calling me. After being with the previous doctor at this office for many many years and 4 children, Dr Davis-Best came along and destroyed this place for me. I had to leave after giving her 2 years. Shes an airhead. Makes no sense. Her thoughts are all over the place. Scattered. It was too much for me. Her bedside manner is sorely lacking. Im actually shocked to see any good reviews. These people must never have had great doctors before or they are her friends writing reviews. In any event, I highly suggest doing your research before everyone stepping door into this office. If you like a doctor with a personality who can keep her thoughts organized, this is NOT the place for you!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Davis-Best. I’ve been with her practice now for several years. As of recently she delivered my baby girl. Her office staff also top tier. Im so grateful to have a responsive and caring OBGYN. These things matter so much. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr Best for a few years now, at her old office and now at the new office-which is much more updated and less crowded. Dr Best is a straight-to-the point physician, she is cautious, and would rather check things out to be sure - all of which I appreciate. Mary is her assistant and she is also very lovely to speak to and the reception gal makes me feel comfy where I can just chat with her and joke around.I DO LOVE that the office has an in-house lab so I dont have to do all the extras in scheduling blood work elsewhere. While Dr Best is in her own practice, and it is just her, I dont mind the wait some times. I just like that it is not a revolving door of cram all the patients in type of office.

Moved states and had my first child with Dr. Davis Best at Chandler Regional. Love her individualized care which builds rapport. She’s just a call away on late night and weekends.

I found out I was pregnant in January 2019 and I was nervous about finding an OBGYN. Being new to Phoenix, I had to establish all of my care without a clue as to where to go. After much research, my husband and I chose Dr. Julie Davis-Best and scheduled our first appointment. My worries and fears were put to ease after my initial appointment. Let me tell you why. I was on a certain medication while pregnant was worried that I would be judged. Instead, she told me she was proud of me and it was looked at as a strength rather than a weakness. There is nothing more important than having a transparent doctor-patient relationship and I got to build that with Dr. Davis-Best. My husband enjoyed coming with me to my appointments. We felt heard, cared, and valued (as a patient) after each appointment. Most importantly, my husband and I knew our baby was in competent hands. This was my first c-section (my choice) and my scar is so small and light. I had expected it to be different. She took good care of me during my C-Section and visited me at the hospital daily. I did develop PPD (post partum depression) and Dr. Davis-Best told me to reach out to her no matter what time if I felt like harming myself or the baby. She checked in with me every 2 weeks to make sure I was doing ok. This diagnosis is serious and patients need to have that support from their providers. Agreed? Dolly, her medical assistant, is responsive and supportive. Also, we never had an issue with the front desk or billing. The one thing that can improve is the wait time but I believe this will change once Dr. Davis-Best moves into her own office space (which I believe is happening soon). The patient portal is very convenient because I can send messages, schedule appointments, pay bills, see my lab results, review appointment notes and more! I will end with this. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Davis-Best and I do recommend her if you are looking for a competent, well-rounded and supportive OBGYN.

It upsets me to ask my daughter, how was her first pregnancy OB/GYN appointment? And she states to me the provider was very rude and unpleasant once stating to her, “hurry up and answer because I have a clinic to run you know.”Then my daughter began to take out her phone to record and after briefly (2-5 seconds) letting my daughter hear the heartbeat she impolitely says to her, she couldn’t record because recording wasn’t allowed. Really? It was a first-time bad experience for my child and unprofessionally and unethically conducted. That’s sad!! It only takes a minute to be kind and professional. Learn to do so!!

Do not let this doctor near you - Having long standing issues I have seen many doctors for my problems. What stands out most is how she gaslit me when I can back in agony from a biopsy a few days she did in office without any type of pain management to help. Not for the procedure or aftercare either. I was screaming in pain while she did it and shamed me when I begged her to stop. I FOUND OUT THIS WAS INSANE OF HER TO DO by an actual professional doctor (L il ac for compassionate care) She told me oh its not that bad, youll be fine. I was crying in pain and she treated me like I was a drug seeking addict. I have considered my options, but now I just hope to warn others of how awful this doctor is. Finally, Ive been trying to unsubscribe to their text messages for months and they now keep spamming me. This just keeps that trauma coming back to my mind

Not sure about the 1 star review, but this has been one of THE BEST OB/gyns Ive had. The office is really nice and clean, and they provide samples and other female products that have served me well. They really have shown how much they care (not only about me, but my babies). I wouldnt dare go to anyone else. They make you feel like family. If you want an extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and trustworthy OB, this is the right stop. She has yet to steer me wrong on anything (and Ive had my share of health problems), but if youre okay with a less than subpar doc who would rather sugarcoat and not do the necessary footwork needed to diagnose you properly, then this isnt the place for you. 🙂

This is by far the worst doctor Ive ever been to. I couldnt even make it to a third appointment. I had to switch my obgyn. When youre having your first child, you expect patience and a doctor who understands that youre afraid and you might need a little more time than other women. This doctor doesnt. Let me specify that her name is Julie davis-best. She is first off extremely unorganized mentally and physically. Her mind seems to be everywhere except with us on our appointment days. Her rooms have planters holding up the beds that I lay on, footprints on the fabric chairs and she takes nearly 30 minutes to come back into the room when she leaves. My first appointment was terrible. She was speaking like an auctioneer and of course the only thing I caught was that my baby could have cystic fibrosis and die in 3 years. Someone else informed me that this is something they say to everyone, but how am I supposed to know? I know literally NOTHING about having children or pregnancy! She made me feel so uncomfortable along with her sidekick Dolly. They were such a terribly disorganized team. Id advise anyone to rethink choosing this obgyn unless you like a doctor who enjoys just getting you in and out as she would say. It made me so angry because I didnt want to be just in and out!!!! I wanted more information and more care! But I guess she couldnt understand that. I really hope this review helps someone decide against using this obgyn. The equipment is also very outdated and Ill remind you that its not very clean in there. Its like a makeshift doctors office. If this review helps one person click back and search longer for another doctor, Id feel like I did my job.

Ive seen on here that there are negative reviews and would like to say I am now pregnant with my second kid with her as my doctor and Dr Julia Davis-Best and her assistant Dolly have always been the utmost professional and have always been very good at answering any questions I have also Dr Davis-Best has always responded very quickly to any needs I may have whether it is checking up on me at all hours of the night in the hospital or just getting back to simple questions through a phone call. There are very attentive to any needs of any of their patients and try to make it as quick and painless to be in their office so you can accomplish your day without having to spend it all in doctors

We moved to AZ before our 2nd kid. She was ourgynecologist for 2nd pregnancy.Initially, we thought she was fine. But, Eventually we realized, she is very good. Especially during delivery she and her staff did really great job and gave a very good support. We can see the difference of the process between the 1st gynic and the 2nd. I am happy to recommend her to our friends and family.Compared to whole experience, this is minor. Usually after lab tests, if everything is fine, they wont inform and need to wait till the next visit or need to call the hospital. It seems common across Arizona. We had similar experiences with other situations with other doctors. But it would really help, to call patients and inform them tests are normal.

NOTE: this review is not a reflection of the doctor but of the admin staff.I’m very disappointed by this experience. I received multiple texts to be at the office at 11:30. I arrived at 11:34 and waited patiently for the receptionist to finish checking others out. After several minutes of standing and waiting, she told me I was 40 minutes late! I explained the text said 11:30, but she insisted I was late despite never calling for an appt “no show”. She then tells me I can’t see the doctor after a 30 min. drive to get there, doesn’t apologize at all, and asks when I can reschedule. I only booked this practice because of its high rating, so I thought others should be aware.

Dr Julie Best and Dolly are beyond incredible. I truly feel incredible lucky to have found them. They are exceptionally knowledgeable caring and competent. I could go on and on. In a nut shell I would encourage any women in need of their services to head there way. Thank you again you two.

The best doctor ever I have been going to her since 2017 and she has delivered 3 of my children. If you are going through C-section she is the one to go too.

Did everything in her power to keep us from having a C-section and thankfully it worked.
