Dr. Suzanne Kaminski

Let me start my saying I come from the medical field and how you treat people matters!!! I came to visit Dr. Kaminski for a new patient appointment- Mind you I was referred here with hopes of dealing with the ups and downs of womanhood- I came in feeling hopeful for answers and a road to becoming a healthy better me! Getting a appointment was definitely not the easiest- having to hunt down medical records before they even accept you as a patient, paying a deposit and finally after waiting a month getting a appointment. The lovely lady at check end was so kind and polite and warm and inviting. All this changed one Dr. Kaminski entered the room. Her energy , her disposition was cold and not warm not inviting. Having a simple conversation she seemed to be very genetic and not showing no sympathy and cutting you off as you speak with allot of sighing and deep breathing and not listening to my concerns. However I continued thru the exam holding it together as much as I could- until the end of the visit after examination when she was explaining everything I was not concerned with- the rude demeanor interrupting me and you can tell she was very annoyed - I advised her to stop and expressed how uncomfortable I was, and she marked out my check out sheet put it on a chair and walked out on me! I walked out the office crying and having a full blown panic attack. The nice lady at the front desk didnt want me leaving upset and directed me to the office manger Melanie who was very apologetic and was listening to my concerns and understood how hard this was on me and to be taken 10 steps back and feeling now even more not hopeful for my health concerns. She scheduled me with another provider who is on vacation who she said will be a great fit in 3 weeks. Feeling a little better and trying to remain positive I put my best foot forward willing to still give this practice a shot because of the time it even took to get into this office. However 4 hours later the office manger Melanie calls to say she has to cancel my appoint with the other provider because Dr. Kaminski doesnt feel IM A GOOD FIT!!!!!!!!!!! This is unethical and should be reported to the broad for unprofessional care/ treatment of a patient in need. You can not as a provider put your emotions before a patient. I am hurt and embarrassed and Im already in allot of pain. Now I have to go thru another referral process and probably wait another couple months to be seen. WHAT HAPPENED TO PATIENT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Kaminski was very thorough and knowledgeable. It was my new patient visit and exam and everything was on time. Convenient location, right off 440 and everyone at the front desk and my nurse were so pleasant. Dr. Kaminski discussed options for my concerns and took time to explain the differences. I liked her very much.

Dr. Kaminski is wonderful! I truly feel like she listens to me and has never rushed our appointments or made me feel like my concerns aren’t important. In my experience, she has gone above and beyond - even giving me wonderful recommendations when I was looking to change my primary care doctor. I can’t say enough good things. The office staff has always been super kind and I have never had to wait long or at all to be seen once getting there. Highly recommend Raleigh Gynecology.

Dr. Kaminski was amazing. She has such a calm presence and made me feel totally at ease. She took the time to talk to me about what was going on, answered all of my questions, and walked me through my colposcopy procedure. I didnt feel like I was just another person to get through, I was made to feel as though I truly mattered. Im so glad I found this practice and will 100% be recommending her to my family/friends as well as returning as a patient myself.

Dr. Kaminski herself was very responsive to my questions and concerns. She thoroughly explained procedures and her rationale for medical decisions. I felt that she was very easy to talk to and spent plenty of time with me, explaining things, asking about my overall health and stresses. One of the things that impresses me the most about her as a doctor is the rapport that she establishes with patients and the comfort I feel in speaking about my health with her. She is extremely conscientious and remembered vital details about my health history from year to year. I trust her implicitly with my health concerns.

My previous OB/GYN closed his practice to accept another position. I was referred to Dr. Kaminski by my sister-in-law who recently had an appointment that went really well. I needed a little more information and attention than my normal annual appointment. I found Dr. Kaminski to be very thorough; she asked many questions, listened, and then offered reasonable solutions. She has been professional, informative, kind and supportive, all the while maintaining a gentle sense of humor. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Kaminski is a very caring healthcare provider who is super responsive to her patients needs. I can fully count on her for very positive and encouraging feedback and her persistence when dealing with a medical issue. I have always been impressed with her ability to listen and put me at ease, even when I have a gyn problem that is hard to discuss or figure out. After years of dealing with a problem, and lots of consultations with many other doctors, Dr. Kaminski was able to offer support and care in one appointment. Her vast understanding of gynecology, her passion for helping her patients and her amazing responsiveness are all hallmarks of her practice. Dr. Kaminski is one of the providers at Raleigh Gynecology and Wellness. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone seeking comprehensive gynecological care.

I had my first visit with Dr. Kaminski, she was so welcoming , very knowledgeable, most importantly top notch. She will be my gynecologist as long as she’s in my network. We depend on ratings to make someone famous, or popular, she needs NONE of that, Dr. Suzanne Kaminski is amazing . I am so full of gratitude for having this experience. Her staff was very attentive, happy, and they all created an atmosphere that was inviting, and relaxing.

Dr. Kaminski was very friendly and kind. She was wonderful with helping understand everything and very communicative throughout my visit. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a gynecologist in Raleigh.

Dr. Kaminski is the absolute best. I’ve been seeing her for many years but had to switch practices for OB. As soon as I was done with children, I immediately switched back to Dr. Kaminski. There is just no other doctor that can compare to her and her bedside manner. She listens, she understands, and she truly cares about her patients. I recommend her to everyone!

I am very happy with Dr. Kaminski. Was having a problem with abnormal bleeding and transferred care to her from an ob/gyn that I was not happy with. Dr. Kaminski took a lot of time with me during the initial exam. She listened to me and helped me come up with a plan of action. Ultimately did a D&C which went very well. On the day of surgery she spent time talking to me and my husband about what to expect. She is personable and compassionate. I will continue seeing her for regular exams.

Dr. Kaminski is great. She takes the necessary time with her patients and doesnt rush from room to room. She gets to know her patients and offers suggestions on care, without being over the top.

I would not recommend Dr. Kaminski. I went to her last year and she ignored everything I told her. All she wanted to do is recommend me to other providers. She had horrible bedside manner. Also, the office staff was a mess. When I went last year the nurse who took me back left the door open and started asking me all the personal questions where everyone could hear. I had to tell her to close the door. Very unprofessional and a long wait time. I went b/c I was new to the area and needed to see get my yearly. I wont be going back here.

I just learned that Dr. Kaminski’s office no longer accepts any form of Medicare. Dr. Kaminski preformed surgery on me several years ago and I liked her. I just can’t believe she would be part of a decision to deny Medicare patients and that I can no longer afford to have access to her. That leaves me questioning whether she values money over patient care. That sounds harsh but it was a harsh reality to find out that a person in my income bracket and older cannot see her anymore because of this insurance restriction.

Have been seeing Dr. Kaminski for many years now and just love her.She takes the time to go over everything and answer any questions/issues you may have. Recommend her to everyone.

In 2017 during my first ever visit to Dr. Kaminskis office I had a lump in my right breast. It was malignant & aggressive. She called a top surgeon in Raleigh within 2 days and also called me several times. Dr. Kaminski saved my life.

Dr. Kaminski, is a great doctor! Wonderful bedside manners, good listener, very patient. And she cares about her patiences.

I have had many doctors over the years and I am one with high expectations. I found Dr. Kaminski attentive, competent, and thorough. I look forward to having her service for years to come. The supporting team is also very good.

I agree with J. Autry. Went to Kaminski about 6 months ago and she completely ignored everything I was telling her about my heavy menses. She told me she would not perform a hysterectomy on me even tho my history indicated I was a great candidate to have one done. I was told to seek a 2nd opinion and the new OB/GYN office I am going to is scheduling my hysterectomy within the next 6 weeks. If you want your OB/Gyn to value what you have to say about your OWN body, please avoid this practice at all costs.

My UNC Women’s Hospital physician of 30+years retired and suggested Dr Kaminski so about six years ago all my UNC records were transferred to Dr K.....MISTAKE.My annual visits with Dr K were just OK...she seemed to lack warmth and was a bit distant...a very small practice lacking manpower and services....left me wondering. I wasn’t impressed but the location was more convenient than driving to UNC.BUT....When calling to schedule my 2019 annual exam, Dr K’s staff announced they “NO LONGER ACCEPT Medicare or Blue Cross Supplement” payment plans ....even for established patients....be prepared to PAY 100%. I felt age discriminated, overwhelmed, & irritated. Dr K didn’t even have the common courtesy to communicate this to me herself or offer a referring physician. 😩This put me in a tailspin for several weeks to find a reputable replacement. It was extremely upsetting but caused me to return where I began.....UNC Woman’s Hospital, one of NC’s finest. I couldn’t be happier! And yes they accept Medicare age patients like me! 😀

I absolutely enjoy Dr. Kaminski. She is thorough, pleasant, respectful with great bedside manner. Her verbiage and tone with her explanation never make me feel uncomfortable.

Dr KAMINSKI is the best Obygyn I have ever had. She listens and is very informative in providing the best preventive maintenance for you in a way that is understandable and honest.

Dr Kaminski took the time to carefully address all my concerns. My exam was painless and thorough. I don’t think I’ve ever had this level of care before.
