Awesome experience.Needed a new OB for yearly paps and I couldnt be happier with DWC. Dr. Satterfield was so nice and welcoming. The nurses and her both made me feel comfortable at a time when we all feel the most vulnerable. No waiting past my appointment time and no long waits after dressing for exam.Got blood work done down the hall and was extremely quick and painless as well.

Go elsewhere for prenatal or GYN care. This office dropped my insurance and never answers the phone. (Really - you have to leave a voicemail every time and they MIGHT get back to you in 48 hours.)I had prenatal care between here and the Durham location last year and would not recommend EITHER to anyone.Dr. Satterfield is nice but the office is poorly run, other doctors don’t take concerns seriously and no one answers the phone.Go somewhere else, especially for prenatal care.

I would not recommend this to anybody. I had my first appointment with Dr. Ankita Desai on 10/5. She suggested for an ultrasound on the next day which is 10/6. Its been 7 calendar days now (10/13) nobody from the clinic bothered to call me and let me know my report. I have been contacting them 3 times, no answer, left vm and yet here am I. My other provider reaches out within the end of the day with report or sometimes it takes 24-48 hrs. I havent had this experience in 10 years. So definitely its a big disappointment .

I came here after trying elsewhere first. This is now always my first choice after receiving immaculate care here for my 2nd born. The entire staff is dedicated to womens health, they know their stuff, and they will take great care of you and yours. Best experience ever… annnnd they got me into midwifery after delivering naturally with the one on call who was legit amazing. They also do PT for OB stuff so it’s a one stop shop for baby mamas!

This is the first time I have ever left a doctor’s office in a great mood simply because of the appointment. They were on-time for my appointment, efficient yet thorough (new patient) and I walked out with two additional appointments scheduled within a week for routine items. This saved me so much time since they were both within their practice. Highly recommend them especially Dr. Satterfield!

The DWC clinic space is lovely, easily accessible, clean, and comfortable. I felt at ease from check-in to check-out, and am thankful for the kind people who work here. I was able to get an appointment within one week of calling, and the text reminders were helpful. I was fortunate to receive care from Stacie Diette at DWC Brier Creek after a truly traumatic experience with a primary care provider who claimed they could provide gynecologic care (and did not deliver on their claim...). I messaged her to explain my situation and the anxiety I was experiencing prior to my appointment, and she was SO compassionate and patient during my procedure. Stacie is so down to earth, friendly, and knowledgeable and Im thankful that I was able to work with her! I would absolutely recommend anyone who is seeking an OB-GYN or womens health provider pay her a visit -- you will not be disappointed.

If you are in search of a good caring OB/GYN clinic, dont look further. In my 50+ years of life, I have never seen a clinic full of loving and caring doctors and staffs like here in Durham Womens Clinic at Brier Creek. I have been seeing Dr. Frenduto and Dr. Schreiber since June and really feel that from the front desk staff, Tammy to all nurses and doctors, literally everyone at this clinic really care about my wellbeing. All staffs are very professional and loving. Thank you everyone at DWC at Brier Creek. You guys are awesome!

Cannot say enough great things about this practice. The quality of care, kindness, knowledge and expertise are insurmountable. I have been a patient for five years, and have gone in for routine annual exams, prenatal and postpartum care and an early miscarriage. I have been cared for by both the midwives and the OBs, and they are all truly wonderful. I love their collaborative approach to women’s health. Visits start and end with a warm welcome and send off from Ginny, who so very patiently breaks down everything we need to know about scheduling and billing. Our nurse Amanda has become a dear friend - seeing us through everything and always there at each visit to make us feel welcome, comfortable and that all things have been covered. Amanda also facilitates the centering program, which I highly recommend for all expectant parents. The program provides so much helpful information, a chance to meet all of the midwives at the practice and a sense of community during and after pregnancy - it gave us all the tools we needed to feel educated and prepped during pregnancy and labor. Everyone at DWC/WHA truly goes above and beyond - I recommend them to every woman I know!

Where do I begin with this review? Let me start with my initial call and getting a live, amazing, friendly lady ( Tammy) not the Covid weird answering machines. It was a live person!! Tammy helped me so much and got me an appointment fairly quickly. The facility follows all covid protocol and is very clean. You can tell they take all the extra steps in keeping you safe. EVERYONE in this facility is amazing and welcoming. You actually feel like you are hanging out with good friends vs a Drs appointment( in a good , professional way lol). A huge Thank You to Dr. Carroll, BOTH Tammys, Erin, Lisa and newcomer Rebecca! You guys are awesome and Im grateful to have met all of you!!

Dr. Frenduto is an excellent provider, he is very personable and kind. All of the staff members in his office were warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this provider to my family and friends. I drove from out of town to see the physician, and I was very early for my appointment, Dr. Frenduto and his staff were kind enough to see me early, although I was happy to wait. Dr. Frenduto spent plenty of time with me, I felt listened to and was treated with courtesy and respect.Edit: Ive also seen Dr. Satterfield at this location and she is equally as wonderful.

This is hands-down the best midwifery practice in the Triangle-- and if you are looking for a obgyn, you cant go wrong with the doctors at Chapel Hill OBGyn or Durham Womens Clinic either. Everyone from the office staff to the nurses to the midwives and doctors are so caring, kind, wonderful people. They make the pregnancy and birthing experience so joyful-- no matter what complications may arise along the way, they have the knowledge, expertise, judgement and bedside manner to make you feel you are most definitely in the right hands. Birthing at Duke Regional is a dream-- it may not be the fanciest place but it is equipped with the most experienced and kind nursing staff, it is clean and a very happy place to be. The whole experience for start to finish was amazing. I cannot say enough great things about WHA!

We are now first time parents with our first child. During our journey of preparing for the birth of our newborn, we followed the traditional path of using an OB. We didn’t know much about a midwife in the beginning but discovered what they are about along the way. So after 30 weeks with an OB, we decided to switch to using a midwife. It was the best decision of our lives. We wanted a natural birth and no epidural. During our first visit, we learned more on our first visit with WHA than we did during all of our OB visits combined (and we felt like our OB was very good). There is a fundamental difference to the approach of birthing with a midwife vs OB, and it felt right for us from the first visit. They have a small team of 5 midwives and we were absolutely impressed with each one. They each have a significant amount of experience and we felt 100% confident with each midwife.I hope every future mother has the opportunity to use this team to bring their child into the world.

I just called this office with some questions regarding treatment here as I have been considering transferring to this office as a patient and wanted some information regarding billing and some general questions I had about this practice. I called a full 15 minutes before closing time and while I did not expect all of my questions to be answered in that short time, I did expect I would be able to speak with someone and set up a time to come in for an initial appointment where I could go more in depth with some of those questions or at the very least I expected to be able to leave a message for someone describing what it was I was looking for. However, rather than receiving help, my calls were rerouted to the main menu each time I chose an extension. Not only that, but on two separate occasions (the first after several times and ten and half minutes of attempting to get through to someone) I clearly heard the receiver being picked up and hung up. This is unacceptable, in my opinion, and should be corrected. When your practice is only open 3 days a week, the least you could do is answer your phone during your office hours. And hanging up on a patient when they call not once, but twice is unacceptable and straight up rude! MWHA was at the top of my list before this experience, now I am seriously reconsidering even giving this practice a chance. I have never in my life experienced this kind of treatment at any medical office and I live in a small rural town where the doctors take 2 hour lunch breaks! I expected more from a supposedly upstanding practice in the triangle like mwha. This is the kind of behavior one would expect from a teenager working at a fast food restaurant, not a medical practice!

This is the 2nd time I’ve waited over 30min for a simple shot when I’ve had an appointment. I can only come during my hr lunch break. To wait for so long and watch others be called back who arrived after me is unacceptable. When I got called back, the nurse didn’t know what I was there for and had to look for my specific shot. Really??
