NextCare Urgent Care

I went to the Target clinic for my youngest and arrived in plenty of time to be seen but they decided to close early when we arrived. My husband and I were shocked! It was two days before Thanksgiving. I called NextCare and they told us they would see my daughter up till the time they closed. The woman at the front desk was super-friendly and the nurse and doctor were so good with my little one. They made her feel even better and really tried to cheer her up. I love this place! We even picked up her prescription right across the street. Thank you for seeing my sick kid and helping us a few days before the holiday ❤️ You made a little girl feel better so she can enjoy her time with family and friends.

Absolutely fabulous staff.The front receptionist was professional and very very courteous. She made a great first impression. Best I’ve seen in almost any medical office.The nurse who got my vitals was friendly and efficient.The doctor who saw me was very thorough and informative. I highly recommend this Urgent Care

Absolutely loved this place. Living here in Raleigh for the summer with my sister before going back to school in Durham and my primary physician is back at home in Charlotte while my other is in Durham so this urgent care was the most convenient for me while I am here. I came first thing in the morning so it didnt take much time to be seen. My insurance is excellent so everything went smooth and on top of that the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I was offered really good coffee. I came in very uncomfortable but left satisfied and they made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this urgent care if youre in or around the area.

This the best urgent care office I have ever been to. I went with severe back pain. They were very concerned about my issue. I was greeted by Hazel who was all ready for my arrival as I had called ahead. She was friendly and re-assuring that I would be taken care of. I was immediately greeted and take back to the room by Jamal, who was also very helpful and had a good sense of humor. Dr. Wilkerson took care of me. Giving me relief with a shot of pain medicine. Once they gave the medication they checked in on me to make sure I was feeling relief before sending me home. I am so grateful to them for taking such great care of me. I will totally recommend them to anyone who is in need of medical care. Thank you!

Best experience I have had at an Urgent Care Facility. The staff was helpful and caring. The doctor took time to answer my questions and make sure that I understood my x-ray results. He even drew a picture for me! The place was clean and there were only 3 other patients waiting. I think we were all seen within minutes of walking through the door. I will be coming back in the future!

Zach was amazing. I cant remember the nurse and Front desk rep name BUT all were great !!! Wasnt sitting in the waiting room long at all. Dr. came in explained everything and was great with my baby girl. Nurse too !! will always be my go to place ... Made my appointment the same day and they took me right in.

Im not sure why there are negative comments on this location. This was my first experience with US health care, moving from Canada, and I couldnt believe how fast and pleasant the experience was. I was seen right away, everyone was thorough, caring and informative, and the extra referrals and follow up were a pleasant surprise. We may have free health care in Canada, but I can tell you I have never had a better experience in dealing with the health care system. I will definitely be coming back with my family for any future health concerns.

I visited NextCare for an injury to my hand, and Im glad I did. Hazel at the front desk was friendly and calm, and kept me informed about how long my wait would be. (Theres also a computer screen that shows your first name and last initial, along with your estimated wait.) There were a few people in front of me, but I was still seen within an hour. Safal Gandhi, the PA-C (Physician Assistant) and Jamal (nurse) were great--efficient and friendly, they got me patched up and explained how to care for my wound. Definitely a much better experience than Ive had at similar urgent care clinics in the past.

Alnissa Shaw PAC - what a caring, thoughtful, reassuring person! She was very comforting in her understanding of my ear infections and gave me confidence in the proposed treatment.The desk attendant was professional and courteous. She helped me quickly which I appreciated very much.The nurse was gentle and compassionate, and did not rush me.They are all three great women and I am grateful for their care of my needs!

I thank God, I found this urgent care office. The staff are curteous, friendly and accommodating. The doctor Jason was very knowledgeable, took his time understanding my issue and was very compassionate. Every one there exceeded my expectation with their great customer service as well. I highly recommend them!!!Thank you Doc. For helping me heal fast :-) !!!

They got me in quick & were able to diagnose me quickly as well. I left with a prescription of an antibiotic & something for my cough. They understand that I don’t have insurance, so they work with me. NextCare offers an advantage plan that’s extremely affordable for those who do not purchase insurance. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I’ve been to this location on more than one occasion, as it’s close to my home and the people are always great! I scheduled an appointment on 2/19 @ 5:30 PM, but they were running behind due to an unexpected situation. I was not feeling well and forgot to get the woman’s name who was working behind the front desk, but she deserves kudos. People kept coming in while I was waiting to be seen and she greeted everyone with a smile and a kind word. While we were waiting, she checked in with everyone so they knew that they had not been forgotten. What could have potentially turned into an upset group of people became exactly the opposite because of her professionalism and kindness. She said she enjoys her job and it shows! I’m so very sorry I did not get your name, but they are lucky to have you!

Audrey, the receptionist, was so kind and compassionate. She communicated about our wait and was very helpfully. The providers were also wonderful. They were definitive about my diagnosis and treatment. Thank you Next Care!

No wait in the afternoon after work during the week. Staff was extremely professional and easy going. The front desk lady was on point with instructions provided with a fantastic attitude. I would return to this business in a heartbeat if I ever needed their services once again. Thank you making a docs visit very tolerable.

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, nurse was sweet, gentle, and kind. The PA, Zac, was very nice and identified my problem quickly. The prescription was waiting for me 8 minutes later! Thank you and God bless people like you, who work in the medical field to heal and help people if/when the need arises.

Ive been to this location several times for various ailments. On all occasions but one, Ive been seen very quickly. The one time there was a finger laceration that came in and bumped me - understandable. Ive used their Wahoo service and Ive gone in and waited. Both are fine. The office staff is kind and efficient. Theyve often called me to follow up after Ive been seen - something not even my primary care doc does. The initial paperwork (digital) is very long as one person already mentioned. But I only had to do that once, and now they have all my info on file; all I have to do is give them my ID and sign a consent form. If the co-pay wasnt $50 a pop, Id dump my primary care doc and go here. Highly Recommended!

Amy helped me every step of the way. It was my first visit and the staff was very professional. I wish I had known there be an extra person in the room when the physician did my exam. I was able to guess the third person was training. They were very professional but I like to know whats going on instead of having to guess. I would visit the office again if I need to.

Awful experience and did not even get past front desk. Screen said 10-15 min wait. While waiting I saw lady at front desk give some one another patients information to look over on accident. There were only 3 of us even in the waiting room. After waiting 30+ minutes, the same lady calls me up to tell me my insurance was incorrect, only to hand me someone elses insurance card. I told her the problem might be that that wasnt my insurance card. When she finally found my card I told her to please hand that back to me that I would be going somewhere else and I left. Very incompetent. Working myself in healthcare the last 15 years I would not recommend this practice.

Prior to today I swore by Next care. But after this morning Im not sure. The lady at the front desk Amy was super pleasant and helpful. She did a great job on my check in and check out. The provider that helped me (Darryl)was great. Both made my visit wonderful. However when Im told by the provider that the nurse told him to tell me they will not do my xray because Im too big and the table can topple over. I got really upset. I use this location as my urgent care for situations like this because they have xray on site. Typically I would be okay and understand based on my size but Ive been to this facility before and had xrays done (when I was even bigger then I am now). When I explained to the provider that I had been here before and had an xray he said maybe it was different equipment or something. He could not explain in detail why things have changed since the last time I came. And was obviously highly uncomfortable having to relay the message that the nurse should have given. However I swallowed my pride & hauled myself with an injured knee over to Wake Radiology to have an xray done.

Took my son in last night for a possible broken nose. Jamal greeted us at the door and checked with Dr Gandhi to see if he thought it would be beneficial for us to see him or just try and go straight to the ER. After speaking with Dr. Gandhi we were handed off to Hazel who was so sweet and helpful during our check-in process. The whole process was smooth and everyone was so friendly. Even had to call back to get his records released and Rosa was so friendly and helpful when answering the phone. The customer service was AMAZING!! And we all know you dont always get that at Dr offices.

This was my first visit to this Nextcare facility and I was very pleased in every respect. The facility is very modern and clean with good on-site equipment. An x-ray was taken and read by the local PA... and was reviewed within minutes by an off site radiologist. All the staff were prompt, knowledgeable, and attentive. Highly recommend.

I did not have a good experience at this Urgent Care. I came in with complaints of abdominal cramps, bloating, nausea, etc and had to wait in the waiting area for over an hour to be called back when I was the next patient in line. At the end of the exam I was told my symptoms could be the stomach bug or appendicitis and I was given a referral to the ER. Seriously?! It was the stomach bug and 2 days later I felt fine. I paid my co-pay and just received an additional bill for the cost of the one Zofran pill I was given for nausea. If you have an option, my advice is to visit your primary care physician, not an Urgent Care facility.

I went in on a Saturday at 1:40 knowing they closed at 2. I had just moved to the area and really didn’t know where to go. I walked in and the staff were so beyond friendly. I apologized for coming in late knowing they closed soon. They were happy to see me and take care of me. When Zach came in the exam room, he was so beyond friendly. He listened to me as if I was a close friend. He was very informative with his diagnosis. Within 20 mins of getting a shot, I was already feeling better. I will continue to go to NextCare for any urgent need. 😊

The nurse Tina lied straight to my face, and Hazel at the front desk is one of the rudest customer service personnel I have ever met.Tina: I arrived at 12:35to drug screen, one person was in front of me (who also was there to drug test)A person with an appointment to see the physician arrived at 1 oclock.The person who needed to see the physician was taken back first because they have an appointment. This makes some sense, however I did not need to see the physician and had already been waiting.I was finally called back at 1:30 pm. When asked, Tina the nurse stated that she had to do X-rays and thats why it took so long. EXCEPT, the thing is as a nurse I know you need a physician order to do an X-ray. (I called the corporate office to verify that there are no standing orders). So the patient was brought back, saw the physician, AND then xrayed prior to me being brought back. So, basically she lied straight to my face and then told me it normally only takes 5 minutes to do a drug screen. If thats the case, why was I there an hour? For a 5 minute ordeal? Highly unorganized.Hazel: the receptionist broke HIPPA and standard drug screen protocol. I also witnessed her being very rude to a co-worker over the phone.THE WHOLE PLACE IS SLOW, RUDE. And apparently UNETHICAL.

We paid the full bill when we visited the place on 11/05/2016, since then we kept getting wrong bills which didnt show the payment we made or the payment from our insurance and we even got a letter from a collection agency. I have talked with their billing dept in AZ so many times and even went to the local branch to address the issue. I have filed a compliant at Better Business Bureau because there is no way we have the time and energy dealing with their mistaking on billing.My wife told me that our insurance informed us not to pay because it is NextCares mistake and oversight. That its something the BCBSNC originally wouldve covered but NextCare missed the deadline for submitting the claim.Though it is a friendly place with caring staff and fast, their accounting depths fault can cause you a long time nightmare. We believe they should be spending more time fixing the issue they caused, not for us customers to spend so much time to beg them on their problems.Update: I called the branch again today and finally got to talk with the manager and the fix is on the way.

Ive been into this location at least 4 times in the last six months and all of the doctors there are so nice and go out of their way to make the visit as pleasant as possible. The nurses are sweet and not condescending if youre afraid of needles :)

Zack was awesome and proactive with my child. Paul was kind and Audrey was so pleasant. Ive been here before and the care has always been excellent, but the staff this time around was fantastic! Thank you guys, I really appreciate it.

Came in with a fractured big toe (i didnt know it at the time) from a dirt bike accident, the staff was super friendly even though it was about closing time and they would have to say late to see me. Dr Heter was an amazing doctor that explained everything and was very helpful. my note says that Rosa was in the front and Tina was in the back, even though i was in massive amounts of pain they were caring and considerate of everything. I highly recommend this place and hope i never have to go back, but if i do, ill be going here for sure.

Really a great office and a visit here will surprise you. Very clean, very friendly staff and they care about their patients. I have been here myself for an xray and I have also taken my sick child here. Both times went very well. Highly recommend for urgent care!

Hazel, the woman at the front, was both nice and efficient. Jamal, the back staff, is possibly lacking in people skills, but it did not really faze me; he was very efficient. I prefer efficiency over friendliness. I was in and out in less than half an hour; you cannot beat that. I would go again.

I went in for a minor emergency, and the staff couldnt even tell me if they could treat my symptoms. When I filled out my paperwork, I couldnt locate my insurance card, and the front desk refused to call on my behalf. Ive never had such poor service at an urgent care before.

Nextcare, specifally this location, is my go to place when myself or my children need urgent care. The staff are great. My children have been in a few times and the staff have remembered us. Our wait time is hardly ever long and the care provided has been excellent.

I regret going there, I will make sure that all my friends and family know not to go there. I waited for almost 4 hrs to get my physical. When I got home, I realized that I had forgotten the most important document I needed for school. I brought the form back and was told to pay another $60 to get it sign. The older lady in the front went on a rant with me. She also has a habit of violating HIPAA

Highly displeased with the receptionist. Apparently shes not too familiar with the call ahead check in process. I checked in 15mintues prior as stated in the text message that is sent to you. My child was next to be seen on the list. Someone walked in about 20 mintues later, their name appeared after my child. The whole time waiting I kept receiving text stating please check in. Which I had previously done. The lady was called before my child even though her name was listed after my child. The receptionist couldnt explain what happened. Unbelievable. The manager as well as the rest of the staff were very pleasant. I will not come back to this location because of her.

Put our name in the online queue and when we arrived the impolite lady at the front told us there were many people ahead of us. I showed her the screen with my daughters name at the top of the list and she then told us it would be a while before she could get her worked in. I asked why and she just kept saying fill out the symptom form and place the insurance card on it. I filled out the form and 15 minutes later the person after us got called back and the lady did not even begin putting our information into the system. We decided that her condition was not that urgent and wed just see her primary tomorrow.Under-staffed, staff not well trained, and they dont get how their own online system works.I have been here before for my kids and myself and this was the worst service by far. Unlikely i will go back to this place.

This place is the worst patient care I ever visit. It took then 2 hours to see me for a simple x-ray and when they finally get me in, after the charge my insurance and took my co-pay, they tell me that oh we dont do type of x-ray here after I present the proper documentation from my provider.Stay away for this location in 1911 falls

If I could give them zero stars I would. What a rip off took my wife for a visit cuz she was coughing all they did was take 15 mins to exam her and tell her everything was fine and then charged her 350 dollars!! And when my wife asked when she came they said it’s 100 dollars after her examantion they said well we had to do test and we charge for each test even tho they did it all in 15 mins!! Wow regret coming to this place and I’m gonna tell everyone about this rip off!!

I was very sick with a respiratory infection. Last Saturday, I showed up at Nextcare and they put me on the path to wellness. The prescriptions I needed were filled at the pharmacy across the street. It was very convenient and appropriate, as sick as I was. Thank you Nextcare!

Hazel is rude. Jamal has no people skills at all. The atmosphere that is supposed to encourage care and treatment was not present. I usually go to fastmed and I will continue. They wanted me out as fast as possible.

They are very pleasant and there was no wait. I reserved an appointment time and then didnt have to feel miserable sitting in the lobby. I was in and out in 40 minutes.

I would give zero stars if I could. We are inbetween insurances so our visit was out of pocket. The charge was 260 dollars for the PA to look in my sons nose and listen to his lungs. Outrageous!!!

Loved taking my child to Next Care, everyone was really nice and made sure they checked all my concerns of the symptoms my child had. I would definitely recommend this doctors office!!

Hazel is the highlight of NextCare. Not only does she make check in/out quick and easy but she can bring a smile out of anyone. No matter how sick youre feeling!

Always quick in and out and at the same time the providers do not rush you and are very thorough. Front desk always friendly and helpful as well.

I would give this place more stars as they have good physicians and staff, but they have no onsite labs and it takes twice as long to get lab results as they tell you. If you visit the office, and I recommend this office, ask them to send you somewhere else for labs and not use their lab services.
