The staff is friendly and professional. The facility was clean, and organized. The wait time however was another story. Obviously understaffed, what should have taken 45 to50 minutes tops, took just over 2 hrs. And given the low number of patients when I arrived (4-5) I don’t think 2 hrs. is acceptable. I give five stars to the staff, they were great. But if the staff apologizes for the wait then maybe you’re short staffed.

I called to confirm the clinic hours and the receptionist was extremely warm and welcoming. She told me to come on in and when I got there she was just as sweet. I came in for work related clearances and everyone was super helpful. I was done in an hr (drug test, physical and blood work).

Amazing amazing service! Took me as a walk in with no problem. So understanding with payment. Had a bible in the lobby that I read and needed! Care was great! Will definitely come again if I need urgent care! Staff was so friendly and kind! The provider was great as well.

Please change your hours of operation online. It shows you open at 8 am on Sundays, the hours are on your front door and there is a sign out in the parking lot that says open. I even got an automated text confirmation to ensure I was still coming for the appointment. The doors are locked and the lights are off, there are no other cars in the parking lot. Waste of time.

I scheduled an appointment before and still had to wait an hour. When the nurse finally came in she asked about 7 questions, which I had already answered. The whole appointment was not even 10mins and she seemed to completely disregard my symptoms, difficulty breathing. I received no diagnosis, only a suggestion to pick up nasal spray. Complete waste of time. Do not recommend.

Called ahead and asked pricing and asked if they took walk ins. Drove 30 mins to the facility right after talking to the front desk on the phone just to be told that they don’t even have a provider present. They might as well just close down for the day and put an answering machine on the phone with a note on the door. Just wasted my time driving there in the rain for 30 mins and another 35 mins back in traffic. Front desk stated she didn’t think that I would have came in today. Why would I ask if y’all take walk ins. Unprofessional business.

Overall I would say that I had a negative experience at this NextCare facility. To start the nurse on staff laughed at my concern which was really awkward for me. Her exact words were “what is that!!??” and then laughed after. The actual provider on staff was unprofessional as well. She incorrectly diagnosed me and then told me she would give me clear instructions for follow up. I did not receive that. It was very evident that the staff was ready to go home and was trying to rush me out of the office. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Terrible service

They waited 15 mins AFTER my appointment to tell me that they don’t have “equipment to swab” my 8 month old I work in healthcare and that’s ridiculous. Even if that was the case, that should’ve been said when I booked the appointment, NOT AFTER I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN THE LOBBY FOR AN HOUR! This is ridiculous & needs to be rectified immediately.

Nexcare has now become my go-to for my minor medical issues. Quick and accurate with the care. I was able to walk in w/o an appointment and 5hey gave me no problem. Doctor was kind and funny. Assistant was caring and took her time. Receptionist was helpful and kind as well. When you are sick, you want caring and kind service. Thank you Nexcare.....

Made an appointment online, super easy and got seen within an hour of making it. Check in was easy once there and staff was friendly and dr listened to what I had to say and didnt rush the appt. Booked appointment online got to the office closed. The hours on sunday are 8-4 nope no one was there. My appointment was at 8:30 I waited 20 minutes and no one showed up. The office never opened. So disappointed that all their other locations were open at 8. So unprofessional.

Had to leave work due to lower back pain. Went to this urgent care to get looked at. They found the issue and got me in and out pretty quick. Staff was friendly and made the nervousness of being there ease away. My life changed for the better coming here

Came here to get some work related things done. The visit wasn’t to long, the staff was very friendly and professional. The young man at the front desk knows and preforms his job very well I had a very good visit I would definitely return and recommend to others . Ms Lisa Bostic was a Gem her bedside manners is so wonderful Best Urgent Care on that side of Raleigh hands down .

I booked an appointment for 10:30am. I checked in at 10:16am and wasn’t seen until after 11am. I felt as though the PA one duty rushed through her time with me, lacked empathy, and literally argued with me a question I tried to ask. Fascinating. I do not recommend this urgent care.

Awful experience. I went in pregnant with diarrhea and vomiting for going on 3 days. My OBGYN said they should test my dehydration levels to see if they should give me fluids and also test if it was a bacterial or viral infection. They did neither and instead said I could go to my PCP if it persists for 5 days. As I am pregnant, it is more of an immediate concern, whereas they completely dismissed me. Then my discharge papers said “abdominal pain” was why I came in which shows they were not listening to me at all.

My appointment was scheduled for 10a at the Wake Forest Rd. location. There was no other car in the parking lot and no other patients in the waiting area. I wasn’t seen until 10:40a. When taken back, the MA or nurse (I’m not sure because she didn’t don a badge) took me back, she informed me that we would be testing for flu and covid. Perfect, because I felt AWFUL! She swabbed me, but barely put the swab in my nostril. I thought she’d start to work her way back, but she did not. I saw the medical provider, was told that my tests were negative, received a different diagnosis and went home. When I got home, I felt so bad and desperately looked for a covid test. I found one and tested positive on both tests. I called the clinic to inform them and asked if I could be retested. They agreed and I returned. When I arrived, the same person took me back and informed me that I would be getting the PCR test since the rapid came back negative. I asked to be retested using the rapid because I didn’t think the sample was obtained properly. She told me no. I further explained that I didn’t feel that the swab placement was not correct, resulting in an incorrect result. With an attitude and arms crossed, she told me how she doesn’t have to go deep into the nasal cavity to obtain the sample. I agreed and told her that I wasn’t asking her to. I was simply asking that that she test further than the rim of my nostril. Without speaking to the provider, she replied that she, the medical provider, will not be doing another rapid. I agreed to the PCR and was told to isolate while awaiting results. I received my results today and as I said, I have covid. Please consider a skills refresher on obtaining specimens for CLIA-waived testing. My experience at this location makes me wonder how many covid positive patients have had the misfortune of being misdiagnosed/undiagnosed.

Be aware of third party bills that youll be receiving after going to nextcare! I called nextcare twice and asked about tb blood and the price for the test. I paid for the test and a few days later I receive $400 bill from quest diagnostics. How was I as a patient supposed to be aware of how NEXTCARE prefers doing their business? Why am I being charged $400 for the thrid party that YOU chose to work with?! Its like you call plumbing company yo get your waterheater installed, you pay $2000 for it to be replaced but then they tell you our plumbers dont actually do this type of service so we hire someone else, you now own them another $2000? How does it make sense? Looks like malpractice to me! Oh and they call this miscommunication. Who is going to pay for YOUR miscommunication?!!!!! You tricked me as a customer into believing that I would receive my test for $90. You specifically said its for the tb blood test! You didnt explain to me that I would have to pay someone else! How is this a fair practice?!!Edit: on your website it says YOU offer lab services and blood testing. However, after I paid for your lab series, I am.now responsible for quest diagnostics lab services because Nextcare chooses to use Quest diagnostics lab services. Excuse me? How does it make sense? You are deceiving your customers, who later are charged $400 by providers they never went to! Yes, Im glad you will use my experience to better your services in the future, but who is going to my bill?

I highly recommend this urgent care. I was trying to avoid the emergency room as best as possible and they were able to diagnose my problem and give me treatment. The staff is friendly and welcoming and I never once felt rushed or like I was just another number in the que. they took their time and were thorough. I also didn’t wait long to be seen where as other urgent cares I’ve waited hours. Not here. Was maybe 5 minutes after I submitted my intake paperwork. The initial intake is on your phone which I had gone to a different one years ago so they already had most of my info. If I need urgent care I will definitely come back here. The place was also clean so that’s always a plus.

I had to take my 97-year-old mother in to get stitches after a bad fall. From the minute we got there everything was wonderful! The front desk was extremely helpful and sweet and the wait wasn’t too long. The nurse and the PA were super sweet and professional! We had an excellent experience, and I highly recommend coming here .

The MD (older male) was very rude to me, undermined everything that I said; basically told me that nothing was wrong with me even though I told him that I didn’t feel well. Over an hour wait to get some testing done. Whats the point of setting an appointment? I waited over an hour in the patient holding area.Now Ive come back to edit this review because I see the insurance claim has been made but zero tracking for my testing. These unethical lairs made $207 off of my insurance after telling me 1. Ill get my results between 2-3 days. 2. Ill receive email or app confirmation.Still nothing. They stole the insurance money, wasted my working hours and provided no service.

Be prepared to wait and wait and wait some more. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for 7/29/2022 at 3 PM. I was in the parking lot and had checked in before 3 PM. I waited in the waiting room for an hour. No exaggeration. Finally, someone came to get me and put me in a room to be seen. I have now been sitting in the patient room for over 45 minutes. Still no one. What is the point of an appointment if it still takes over an hour and 45 minutes to be seen? Any communication/update would have been appreciated. Would have rated 1-star but the staff Ive interacted with here have been pleasant. In addition, they will not bother to protect by giving you a lead apron to wear during an x-ray because our machines arent strong enough here. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

There were other people in the waiting room that were walk-ins, but I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving since I had pre-booked online!All staff were wonderful, and very helpful! Trying to charge me $10 for who knows what. They already made $376 from me coming in for a simple strep test, of which I never received the results. My insurance tells me the exact amount I can be charged is the $100 copay I already paid them, so, really just looks like theyre yet another company running more scams. Dont ever pay these extra fees they try to screw you over with. I hope $10 was worth losing future business. Doesnt quite seem to be good pot odds but, hey, you do you!And before the owner responds: You have my information. I am not going to reach out to you. The online check in process was smooth, thats the only reason Im giving 2 stars. The receptionist did not let anyone know that a doctor had not arrived. It wasnt until someone else in the lobby asked about how much longer her wait would be that we found out they were scrambling trying to find one to show up. It would have been nice if the receptionist let us know upon entering the lobby.

Good experience. Walked in at 9:30, filled out paperwork online and waited in my car. Was seen at 10:30 and out by 11:00 after seeing the PA who was very nice and helpful. Got antibiotics called in and picked up on the way home. My BCBS co-pay of $100 for an urgent Care is pretty steep but it is what it is.

At first I didnt have a problem but the absolute lack of communication and level of difficulty reaching someone is making me want to leave this 1 star review. My girlfriend and I both went here for testing and treatment for our sore throats. We got a throat culture and havent gotten the test results, every time we call we get the call center and they always say the urgent care isnt taking calls and will get back to us when they can...but never do. They have the audacity to charge over $200+ for a visit without insurance but are horrible to get in touch with regarding any follow up or test results.

We did not have a great experience here. Last month we visited because our daughter cut the top of her ear. It was easy getting checked in and the staff was nice enough. When our daughter was examined, the Dr. did not want to do anything and told us to visit the ER. She was afraid that the repair might not look good and she didnt have the right anesthesia. She gave us gauze and sent us on our way. At the ER after waiting about 5 hours the emergency room Dr. came in and glanced at her ear. He asked why we came in and laughed when we told him NextCare wouldnt do anything. He didnt understand why and put 2 stiches in without any anesthesia and we were on our way. We were surprised that NextCare charged us $300 for doing nothing which then resulted in a $1,841 bill for ER that was unnecessary. I could understand a small office visit but $300 seems steep when you didnt want to treat the problem and sent us elsewhere.

Service was great. I did not have an appointment but the receptionist squeezed me in no problem. Staff was upfront about costs of additional services and very transparent. They made sure I was comfortable with having a specific test ran before they had it ordered and then performed. This is the worst place I have ever been. Our appointment was at 140 there was no one in the waiting room but us. My mother waited an hour before she was called to sit another hour before she was told she would need an x-ray. The so-called doctor was only in the room for two minutes. I asked for a wheelchair and no one helped so I got it myself. The nurses stood there as my elderly mother struggled to get into the chair. No one offered help. Once they were done with the X-rays they left her on the table for me to help her down. My mother is 68 years old and they treated her horribly. This place needs to be shut down. Please dont take your family here. I regret bringing my mother here.

In the days of Covid, and amid overcrowded emergency rooms and doctors offices, i was absolutely floored by the expedience of care i received this morning.I arrived around 9am, and was seen, tested, treated, and had prescriptions called in all within 2 hours. Not only that, but the staff were very friendly, particularly the PA who treated me. She spent more time than my GP usually does, answered all of my questions, and made me feel like my health mattered.Overall a very positive experience, especially when i was having a very rough and scary time today dealing with my illness. Nice job, y’all!!

Still waiting 2 hours past the scheduled time and they see walk-ins before the appointment so what is the point of the appointment time. This has made me late back to work . I visited this provider in Oct 2022 and paid the copayment on that day. However, this May 2023, I suddenly received a bill from this Nextcare, requesting me to pay the bill. This is a in-network provider of blue cross blue shield insurance, which I hold. The bill should be sent to Blue Cross not me. I contacted Blue Cross, and they said they denied the claim submitted by this provider because the claim lacked of sufficient information. They requested Nextcare to resubmit the claim with additional information. But, Nextcare did not resubmit the claim and they sent me a bill this May, 6 month after the service date. This is unbelievable.Furthermore, the bill Nextcare sent to me has wrong doctor name . The doctor name on the bill is Amanda Johnson, who is a female. But, I clearly remember that the doctor I visited was a male. I think this doctor name on the bill is fake. Nextcare just puts a fake name on the bill and it is like a scam. So I called Nextcare customer service and they put me on hold for 1 hour and transferred me three times. After the 1.5 hour call with Nextcare, they still could not give me a reasonable response why the name on the bill is fake. They let me leave a voice message. This is terrible.I would never come here again or any othe rNextcare urgent care center. One more thing to mention is that I waited 3 hours before getting the urgent care service after I stepped into this facility in Oct 2022.

While I understand urgent care isnt primary care. The care given at this center was too fast. While I should have went with my gut, I didnt. I went seeking a breathing treatment which I have to have every few years. I saw the provider for less than 10 minutes, she didnt look at what I was taking (Rx) and because I am self-pay, she assumed I couldnt afford the treatment I was seeking and threw 5 prescriptions at me. When I did check out, the medical assistant gave me some lame excuse why I had to pay an extra $100 for the diagnosis I received. Two days after taking some of the Rxs, I found myself in an ambulance in the middle of the night to an ER. My PCP is now working to counter the drugs they prescribed. Luckily, I didnt take everything they threw at me!

I went to Nextcare this past weekend because I was in a lot of pain and scared what was causing it. I filled out my paperwork online and barely had to wait. Lisa was extremely calming and helpful while she took my vitals. She even stayed with my when the doctor came in because I was visibly nervous and worried about my health. The doctor answered all my questions and wrote me a prescription for my symptoms. Everyone at the office was so kind and caring. Highly recommend.

Went here today to be tested for the flu and was super impressed by ALL of the staff. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and Sweet...the nurse Samantha was professional and empathetic and my PA Chad was amazing. So honest and knowledgeable. Doctor Kacy McDonough was absolutely incredible.I came in to get an inhaler refill for an emergency inhaler.She went out of her way to explain my different options and offer me preventative solutions.She also helped me find the cheapest places in the area to get those prescriptions filled.I wish she could be my GP.This location In general worked to hard to help me.There was an issue with my insurance with the problem being on my companies end. They spent time on the phone with my company to get it worked out for me.Thank yo to everyone there.

Its a place where they give you bad service and I dont know if they were racist in some way...I got sick with COVID and Im asthmatic and urgently needed medical attention, a test (I must clarify that when I went to this clinic, the tests of covid were scarce)I was on a call with a person who seemed more concerned about knowing if I had health insurance that would cover the expenses and then started asking about my immigration status (Im a Hispanic guy) I didnt find a relationship between my immigration status and the medical attention that I needed, in the same way I let him know that I would cover all the expenses and he asked me for my debit card information....They made me wait 5 hours outside his clinic in my vehicle and in a very bad state of health ...so that at 5:00 pm someone would call me and very curtly tell me: We are not going to attend to you, look for another place for your situation and cut the call without any further explanation.It is the worst place of all I think they are to give medical attention to anyone .... I dont recommend this place

Went to this facility because I was having a sore throat and some body aches. Made an appointment and when I got there and got taken back to get seen, I was ONLY tested for strep, nothing else. Came back negative, was given some antibiotics and sent on my way. The next day I was feeling exponentially worse, so I got a Covid test done at a pharmacy, which came back positive. So, I went back to this urgent care, explained the situation to the check in desk. I was told that I could be tested again or I could see the Dr if I wanted. I basically said whatever I needed to do to get help, because I felt terrible. I sat there for almost 2 hours before being taken back to be told by the nurse who came in that I was TOO YOUNG(I’m 30) to get prescribed paxlovid, which is just completely not true, also that they would not test me again for Covid since I’ve already tested positive even though literally no one at this facility asked to see my results to my test. When the Dr. came in, I was told there was nothing they could do for me. So, I sat for 2 hours to be told they couldn’t do anything for me. I will not be returning to this facility and definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I went there to get tested for covid-19, walked in, checked in and sat down to wait. Service was bad, they were not professional, they were kinda not caring for the symptoms due to the fact I didnt have fever so I most likely didnt have covid. So I went through triage with the nurse and I THINK the doctor came in, even though she didnt introduce herself or was wearing professional clothes. She did the nose test and said I was good to go. So I was like, should I stay at home waiting for the results? What are the recommendations? She said that I most likely didnt have and oh, yeah, avoid going out in public and wear the mask. So ok, went for checkout and the lady at the front desk said I was good to go. So I asked when would the results be ready and if I should go there to pick up.. she said they would call in 2 weeks tops. So I waited a month and no call. I called them and the receptionist said that my results werent showing as they came back from the lab. She tried on the labs website and said it was negative. I mean I believe her, but there is no proof of my exam and they were confused why it wasnt showing... so yeah, I wouldnt go back there not for covid test, not for anything!

I highly recommend going to UHC Rex Urgent Care for a more professional service and accuracy of wait time. It’s only 12 minutes away! When I went to NextCare the lady up front was super short and rude. I understand there is a lot going on in the world with this pandemic but having a bad attitude to patients doesn’t make it better. She doesn’t represent the company in a good way and should be trained properly as a front desk representative. In addition she wanted to keep my id and insurance card until they called my name. However she couldn’t give me a wait time so I simply asked if she could scan it in then give it back( like normal facilities do). She muttered something took the ids, scanned it then returned it back to me. If your unable to give me a wait time I don’t believe patients should wait for their identification especially if your wanting to go somewhere else with proper services

Worst urgent care I’ve went they asked my child their own height/weight, took 56 mins to get us back there. In the background we heard them talking about chicken and cartwheels overhear cursing. After they took my daughters blood pressure sighing because she didn’t put it on right getting mad at her instead of herself. If I can give this place zero stars I would but I cannot. We left after the “supposed nurse came” ran out of patiences and I haven’t paid yet so we left. I would advise not coming here. Go to wakemed

The online check-in using Solv was super easy; I could see my place in line and wait in my own vehicle. When my turn came up, they contacted me to come on in, which I got a room immediately and was in and out very quickly. The staff was very kind, informative, and professional. So I definitely didn’t have a good encounter these young ladies there, Miss Jullien, Miss Alayna they were very rude. The lady Miss Elena told the doctor Jullien, that I was very upset outside, which to my understanding that was none of anything that was happening. I simply asked was I next, so if that gave her the indication that I was very upset that I was so sorry for the person who hired this young lady to give that doctor that misleading information and then to have this doctor come to me in the manner that she did when I came in the room as she walked in and she said let me get this straight. The man was hemorrhaging and that’s why I took him to the back I did not need her attitude, or that I need the lady upfront to lie and say that I was mad that young lady had been telling me for the past hour that I was next and there was no one in the room so I should have been next, but the guy came in. Had the same accident at work as I did and went straight to the back I will never come to this establishment ever nor will I refer anyone.

I needed to be seen today by a doctor and my own doctor could not see me today. I called NextCare and was able to get an appointment and schedule it online. it was extremely convenient. They took me in gave me an exam and I left with medication the same day instead of waiting another day. They were very nice, took my insurance and I did not feel rushed at all.

Some quick notes on my experience at NextCare on Wake Forest Rd:-- I went because of a prolonged cold that seemed to be the result of sinus and ear infections. Fairly basic stuff.-- The Wahoo registration was excellent-- highly recommend it. The service rep called me five minutes after I registered online-- at 6:45AM on a Sunday-- to confirm my registration. She was very helpful and friendly.-- The admin staff wasnt overly friendly, but they were professional. No warm fuzzies, but no real complaints either.-- Including registration and checkout, my door-to-door time in the office was about an hour. I was the first person there on a Sunday, so I dont know if thats good or bad, but I do think it couldve been a bit quicker.-- The doc who saw me-- Dr. Brooks-- was very friendly and professional. She took care of business quickly. She also made sure everything at the pharmacy was set for me by the time a got there.-- All in all, a decent experience. Not the best urgent care facility Ive ever been to, but far from the worst.

Moving to North Carolina only a few months ago, I still hadn’t found a primary care physician to take care of my regular needs and checkups. Searching online for a place I might be comfortable with, I found NextCare! Close to where I work and open way after I leave the office, I decided to try them out. The way the staff had me in-and-out for a first-time checkup was really amazing. Not only this but my doctor was hilarious and very comforting, and I even met someone from my hometown (shout out to you Joyce for being so warm and amazing) behind the desk helping me with the process, and that never happens lol. I can’t wait for my next visit.

Rushed to this facility last week to take a blood test to confirm pregnancy. Said it would be two days before Id be phoned with the results. A week later, I have not received a call and am left waiting and scared. I called them today, was bounced around by customer service and finally was told that they mailed me a letter yesterday telling me my results were positive. A letter? You said youd call - this is a serious health matter. Ive already received two emails asking for me to take a survey - an email telling me the results were positive would have sufficed. Only giving two stars because the staff who actually treated me last week were nice. Although the receptionist, with a demeaning look on her face, asked me why I was getting a blood test if my own personal urine tests came out positive. Um, I wanted to be sure I was actually pregnant. Its a big deal and I was stressed. Staff should be used to this in urgent care and be able to handle distressed people. Do not give this facility your business!

I did not experience any of the horrors outlined in other reviews, though the facility and waiting area in particular could use updating and ABC daytime TV that was on had me ready to jump out a window. Walking in, it looks uncomfortable. Wait was not bad (or good) and staff was professional, friendly, and accommodating. I was not impressed with the quality of medical care/advise I received though - for my condition, I think they should have asked more questions and perhaps run some labs, but they did not. Just prescribed and sent me on my way. Bottom line - good for simple needs, but go elsewhere if you have more than a cold. There are better places in the area.

Ive been here before and it wasnt the best experience, physicians were not willing to help and just automatically assumed i should go to the ER. Did not want to do their job lack of patience or concern. You would be better off at fast med atleast they dont make excuses to not see you. X ray machine is broke and they dont have a machine for a breathing treatment if needed, the only thing they seem to be capable of doing is covid tests, and they are screening calls too. This place is absolutely awful. From the phone system to the experience. I usually never write reviews and I am a nurse. My fiancé waited almost 3 hours for a curbside COVID test. 4 days later and about 30 calls from the both of us; NO ONE has even bothered to pick up the phone. We have left 3-4 voicemails. It’s absolutely absurd. I know what it’s like to be understaffed but at least have the common courtesy to answer or return calls. Especially with results like this. Never returning.*Update: We finally called the CARY location in NC AND they answered the phone on the first attempt to call!! The PA was so nice and gave us his results even though it wasn’t his clinic. Absolutely ridiculous that we still never got a call from the Raleigh location.

I walked in and explained I had covid symptoms and the lady immediately pushed her chair back, even though we were both masked and a glass was between us. It was abrupt but I was ok with that, so I explained that I had been tested and the results were negative, but I was told by doctor call to go to Urgent Care or ER. I feel she reacted as if I had Plague and said we don’t do walk ins. I was under the impression that was the purpose of urgent Care, to walk in. She finally said she could put me on a list but 30 or 40 people were in front of me and they could call me. I doubt I would get a call. Thanks so much Nextcare for the outstanding lack of human kindness. I wish I could do more than just a review but God is good never the less.

I called ahead and didnt have to wait except maybe a few minutes to be seen. Couldnt have asked for better care, and on a holiday weekend of all times. Im cracking up over some of these low ratings. Youre rushed to an urgent care for a pregnancy test even though youve already taken a pregnancy test that was positive? You actually went to urgent care for a pregnancy test? Ever heard of an ob/gyn? Your husband severed his finger but it only took four stitches to reattach it? Wow, that is a little finger. Ive been to this urgent care facility twice now. Both times I have been treated with respect and compassion. Both times I have gotten a follow up call within two days to see how Im doing and if I have any new questions or had any new problems. Last time I went was because Id fallen and scrapped both knees. Two days later I felt like something was wrong and the scraps had gotten infected. I first went on a Sunday night only to find out they had already closed. I didnt feel it was a true emergency so I didnt want to go to an ER but did feel it was urgent enough I couldnt wait two weeks for a doctor visit. The staff was friendly. The doctor was friendly. MUCH cheaper than the ER and MUCH faster than a doctor visit. My only complaints are that they arent open 24/7 and the weight time for a call back is a little long. Yes, they called me yesterday to check on me but I didnt have questions then. Tonight I have questions because I assume things are healing but I really didnt know what to expect so now I have questions. I called before they closed but havent gotten a call back. Its ok though because I feel confident they will call tomorrow and if it were so serious I couldnt wait I would have gone up there instead of just calling. Would give five stars but that would mean perfect and nobody is perfect. If we were we wouldnt need urgent care.

I almost caught my right ring and little fingers In the car door but jerked them out just in time so they only got scraped leaving a small cut on both. Thankfully Next Care could take care of them. Xrays showed no broken bones. The nurse cleaned them up, gave me care instructions, and I was on my way home. They were all very nice, kind, and thoughtful during the whole episode. Very worst wait time! I waited for 3 and half hours in the lobby for COVID testing. Me and my husband checked in online and we were there10minutes early to check in time as suggested. I do not understand what online check in purpose is serving as we were asked to fill the forms again and had to provide our insurance and id cards again and had to wait for 3 and half hours for test. When we arrived the receptionist gave us an estimate of one to one and half hour. After one and half hour, we still had to wait for 2 long hours! The receptionist that bad at estimating the wait time. If we were given correct estimate we would have returned back not being able to adjust our schedule. After one and half hour, the receptionist next gave estimate of 40min wait time, which was again wrong. I did not like getting exposed inside the lobby or outside the hospital waiting so long for Covid test where many people were walking in and out. I think even a Covid negative patient would test positive after several days due to this exposure. During Covid time, I expect quicker turn over and online notifications to people checked in regarding the wait time or queue status. There is no point in people coming over there and waiting for that long in spite of having technology that serves online appointments and notification systems.

Quite honestly terrible service. Been waiting to be seen for an hour with possible strep throat or the flue not sure because the symptoms have been multiplying. The lady at the front desk is loud and screaming at someone in the back about how she doesn’t work here. I checked in online and they had no idea how that service even worked. She said it’s only a month old and they don’t really go by it. So why implement a system that no one even knows how to use. I checked in online so that I wouldn’t have to wait for an hour and ended up still waiting for an hour. This office needs more staff. I walked in and there were three people ahead of me and only one of them have been seen. We are all still waiting. Im writing this in the waiting room. Being as sick as I am. I don’t want to wait this long to be seen. There’s no service a doctor could give to make me feel any different. I went in and had an appointment set up for a COVID test. I filled out new patient forms and when I tried to give them my digital insurance card they said they needed the back. I told them I never received a physical card in the mail but my provider gave us a digital one we use on our “wallet” a feature or Apple. The lady at the front, her name was Tiana or Siana, said she wouldn’t be able to attend me without the back of the card. I told her the digital one has my member ID, my co-pay information etc, I told her that I’ve gone to other duke locations and I’ve never had a problem. She said “well then you will pay $214 for today” I said “why I have insurance and I am giving you the information for it here” She proceeded to get up and get another receptionist and this lady raised her voice at me and looked me dead in the eyes as if I was doing something wrong. And told me the same thing “we cannot attend unless you have the back of that card.” I told them “okay I’m going to call I’m insurance”. I stayed there while I got in contact with someone and they were in shock to know my situation and laughed at the fact that they wouldn’t attend me with the back of my insurance card and though it was ridiculous, as so did I. Any isurancE provider said all they need is your member ID which I had given them. Anyways I gave the receptionist she needed and she still asked “do you have another address” I told he no that is what they gave me. And she proceeded and finally, about 50 minute later from my arrival I was finally seen. Both receptionist were very rude and disrespectful. I expected a welcoming environment with great customer Service but it was awful and I will never go there again.

Upon entering, the reception staff was most pleasant. Everything seemed very nice.The medical assistant Paul however, I found to be one of the most unprofessional, dismissive and rude people Ive encountered in the medical community.He was unable to take a simple forearm blood pressure read, claiming its impossible. Sorry but no it isnt. Was extremely rude when addressing my allergies, snarking over what I was holding. Didnt bother to take my weight though a scale was directly behind him, instead opting to ask me. Its relevant pertaining to how long ago I was last weighed. He basically shoved a thermometer in my mouth.I called him out on it and told him regardless how bad your day is going, you shouldnt take it out on sick people coming in for help. I asked for another MA when clearly this person cared not one wit about me, my information or why I was there. I was unable to have another so instead he stopped there and showed me to a room. Completely unacceptable, intolerable.The provider I saw was pleasant, polite, efficient and addressed all my concerns to my satisfaction. I would certainly go again but would not tolerate being triaged by Paul ever again.Im sorry for whatever Pauls situation might be as discussed per the provider ~ but perhaps he shouldnt be working at this time if he cant maintain his professionalism.And perhaps clean out your light fixtures....

Went to the Wake Forest road location at 8:45am for a 9:00am appointment for a rapid covid test. Came early because I didnt enter my insurance info and wanted to give it to them onsite (they use a third party website to schedule and collect your data). Was texted by a bot to come by half an hour before, checked in and had no response.At 9:05am, I called and left a message as they were busy. I couldnt enter and should have received a phone call with other instructions. I left my full name and number and said I had an appointment at 9. Its now 9:45 and I am still waiting in the parking lot for any response. I just made an appointment with CVS as they havent let me down yet.Dont come here for Covid Tests.

I went for a nasty eye problem and was so fortunate and grateful they were able to diagnose the issue (and double-check vision not affected), so I didn’t need a specialist afterwards. The front desk still helped me research ophthalmologists during the appt (before even knowing for sure I’d need a referral), so I felt that was really above and beyond. Quick check in and the staff is friendly and attentive. I went in at 7:15pm and was back in my car by 7:30pm.Was seen for COVID-19 testing. I called them while I was in the parking lot and the receptionist asked all the necessary questions before I entered the building. Once inside, she asked for ID and insurance card. I was checked in quickly, saw the triage nurse, sent to the exam room to wait a short time for Jennifer, the medical provider.Throughout the process, as expected, I was asked about any symptoms and possible exposure. I rather say No multiple times to different people, then to be asked by one and no one else take into consideration any risk factors.Nasal swab was quick and Jennifer provided a piece of paper with Mako Lab info, so that I could follow-up with my results. I asked additional questions before leaving the exam room and she answered each of them.This location is convenient for me and the process is quick.I will tell anyone, when you go to a doctor, for any reason, ask questions and get clarification about services.Having to see patients on a regular basis, providers cant be expected to hold anyones hand through the process. Currently at this facility for a TB test. Ive been here since 12:30p & its current 1:17 & I just was told that we have no idea how long its going to take to see you. If I didnt have to have 2 done for class Id leave & never come back bc the test itself is a simple injection and took 15 minutes from walk in at Any Lab Test Now & theres only 2 people in the whole place. You need more staff ASAP!!!

ZERO STARS!!! Took me 20 DAYS to get my test results. I called numerous times, but no one at the clinic answers, so my call gets sent to a customer service center. They claim they left me a message, but thats a lie, because I have received no voicemails from NextCare. Today, I finally got someone on the phone , she had a nasty attitude and a smart mouth!!! I WILL NEVER GO TO NEXTCARE AGAIN!!!

Their service was atrocious. I walked in, in a lot of pain. I was told I need to wear a mask. So when I asked for a mask the heffer working wouldnt give me a mask. They have masks in the facility, but she wanted to be obstinate and refuse to give me a mask. So I threw my water bottle against the wall and she decided to call the police, that isnt a threat. Im in terrible pain and she denied me service because she wouldnt give me a mask.

I called them ahead of time about COVID testing and the person I spoke with told me that they accept walk-ins but if I was exhibiting symptoms (I was) I should call them upon my arrival and they will come out to do curbside testing. I drove to the location and called the previous number, but instead of someone picking up I got a recorded message that they were busy with other patients and to leave a message with my contact information - I did so. After about 10 minutes I had not heard anything so called again - got the recording again. I walked to their entrance and read a notice they posted to call them if I was there for COVID testing and showing symptoms. Two numbers were shown, so I called the one I hadnt tried yet and it just rang and rang. Bottom line: if youre expecting to get COVID tested at this facility, youre locked out if they dont answer their phones, which they dont always do. I made a next day appointment with CVS and hope to have a better experience.

Dr Morris is amazing he is friendly easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The office is clean and the staff is friendly no one had an attitude it seems like everyone enjoys there job. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want to encounter nice friendly people and quick service 😊

It was about a 90 minute wait to get a COVID-19 test. No appt or doctor referral required. Entire staff and doctor very professional and personable. Nice waiting area for those able to get a seat. Others waited outside in their vehicles.

Unfortunately I came in for a TB test that needed to be read by Sunday . I waited in the lobby for over an hour which compromises my read time for my results. There was only one nurse present so it’s partially understandable but seeing as though the clinic closes at 4, I’m sincerely hoping that my test can be read in the proper time. The nurse was extremely apologetic which comforted me to a degree.

Over 2 hour visit, terribly slow. Also...they will not answer the phone. I was told to call to get test results, but they dont answer the phone when you call. Horrible experience! Its now been over 3 weeks and they still have not provided me with X-ray results!!!!

In Raleigh traveling for work and wouldnt you know needed medical attention. NP Gerard was amazing at providing treatment to an out of town female. The tech/paramedic who checked my vitals (didnt catch his name) also made me feel at ease and welcome in an unfamiliar place. Had tried Duke Urgent Care down the street but they did not take Tricare. Im glad as I had a very pleasant experience at NextCare and would recommend to anyone needing expedited and compassionate care.

This Urgent Care was the 2nd one I visited in Raleigh and was better in every way. The Provider and his assistant were kind, courteous, and took the time to develop a care plan that I was comfortable with. The wait time was very short.

My husband severed his pinky finger on June 27th and needed 4 stitches. Simple enough. The first visit was fine, the second follow up was okay, but the third follow up (1 week check) took us 90 minutes. And they were not very busy. This visit entailed a visual assessment of the sutures to make sure things were healing nicely. It took 48 seconds. We waited 90 minutes for a 48 second assessment. And the care is pretty unprofessional, and the clinic is pretty damn nasty. The bathroom in the lobby had fecal matter on the inside of the bowl and on the back of the seat. And, the soap theyre using is definately not up to code, since the one in the lobby bathroom was the orange goopy stuff from the dollar tree recycled in the McKesson hand sanitizer pump. What else are the cutting corners on?

Recent terrible experience. Used them years back and it was OK . but as recent visit 7/9/15. Waited more than 2 hrs. When they called me to the back, waited 15 mins be4 vital signs nurse came to see me. Then sent to another room to wait for the Dr - waited 30 mins and no Dr. I had to leave - so I wasted 3 hrs.No one had the curtsey to advise patients that it was going to be a while to be seen.How can it be possible to wait for 3 hrs at urgent care and still get no service. If the stuff communicated, that would be different. Thats worse than ER!

As others have pointed out, you need to make sure that an actual doctor is available on that particular day. I got stuck seeing a PA who did nothing for me and I had to go back 2 days later (and get charged a second time) to actually have my problem solved. Also I specifically asked over the phone how many people were in front of me and she told me only about one. I walked in 5 minutes later and there were 4 people ahead of me who hadnt even check in yet.I was satisfied with the care that I got from the doctor who was there during my second visit, but you need to only go there when the parking lot is empty.

There are almost no words to describe what a horrible experience it is to wind up here. With only ONE other patient in the clinic it took me an hour to be seen. AN HOUR. When I finally was seen, the trash was overflowing and the room was filthy. I swear this place is like purgatory. Just go to the emergency room. It will take just as long but will at least be sanitary. This place is unreal.

I took my two children(7 & 8months) there yesterday, told them all of their symptoms and was told that my baby was too young for any treatments so they didnt even check him for anything. They only swabbed my 7 year old for strep throat which was negative. I felt like the PA was just trying to get us in and out. I made a follow up appointment with a pediatrician today to find out that my baby has Rsv bronchiolitis and my 7 year old has the flu. Im glad I trusted my gut and not the word of that PA.

Dont bother with this place! Checked-in online and filled out paperwork on their website. Arrived at 8:00am as selected on their site... No one was there. Finally a guy opened the door around 8:07 and said he was the only person there. He also didnt know how to use the online system and made us fill out the SAME info again on paper. Informed me that the medical staff were only 5 minutes away (which means they would arrive at 8:12.) By 8:35am there still was no other staff on the premises, so left.

Let me start with Ms. Amy (front desk ) she was awesome . She was very nice and gave me the sense of comfort. Being that I had uti symptoms which can be embrasssing to talk about, she informed me its commen in women. Which made me feel more comfortable to speak with the young ladys in the clinial portion.
