DR. VUKINA, is. Very thorough.and straight to the point. Which i love. Highly recommend. I had a very large kidney stone, he could see i was very uncomfortable and and nervous about never having one, with a large it was. He had my surgery schedule in 2 days. Great experience in a bad situation. Great Dr.

WakeMed’s Dr Josip Vukina is overall a fantastic doctor. He is super personable, he makes information easy to understand, has tremendous bedside manner, and always listens to what I am describing or asking. I highly recommend him if you are searching for a Urologist!

Dr. Vukina is great and highly recommended. He listens to you precisely and goes beyond the scope to ensure you have the proper care. Though this was my first visit, I still felt Blessed to have a doctor like him.

Dr. Vukina is a very relatable doctor that cares about his patients. He went above and beyond in my case by re-testing a lab report that looked suspicious and calling me to reassure me. The rest of his staff also was polite and friendly. Keep up the good work!

Initial appointment and extremely pleased with Dr Vukina and his staff. Dr Vukina is extremely personable, very knowledgeable, and spent the time to explain every detail regarding my situation and the short-term plan.

I was able to get in same day. Had to get X-ray first, before going to appt .That went well. Once I got to office, I had to just stand there at open window waiting for someone to acknowledge me. They were very flat and unpersonable. Once I got to room I waited 30-40 minutes for Dr. Once he came in, he barely looked at me, went to computer , gave me results and would not really listen to me , just repeated results and told me to come back in 6 weeks for follow up. If he was this quick with everyone, it made me wonder why he ran so late. But I may not go back for follow up. It seems like a waste of time.

Dr. Vukina and his nurses and assistants are so kind and caring. He is an excellent doctor!

Three times in a row I had problems communicating with their office and nurses. Wrote messages through my chart, called office number of times, asked to forward my message to the doctor or his nurse. Even when I was in agonizing pain or bleeding after surgery I couldnt get the information I asked for. I am not sure if it was just a bad luck or it was the way it is organized.

BAD BAD BAD DOCTOR DO NOT COME HERE! Did lots of exams on my husband then he said he couldnt do the surgery? Then we went to a different doctor and he said he would call back and he never did? Do not go to Dr.Josip Vukina.

He even called us at home prior to the surgery. The surgery went very well and we are pleased with the outcome.His staff is professional, very competent and friendly. Waited in the lobby for 25 mins and 45 min + in the room only for him to come in and tell me he didn’t have much time for me because there are other patients. Has no idea how to talk to a patient , his manner of communication is condescending. Felt rushed the whole time and didn’t seem like he cared at all. Felt like he was trying to do what it takes to get me out of there asap and move on with his day. Super unprofessional. You can get a doctors degree but that doesn’t make you a good doctor.

Dr. Vukina is excellent. He spent time explaining options and gave pros and cons, all on an after-hours phone call. Its clear he really cares about his patients.
