I hope I can give this place and her a 0 star. My experience is very bad. All the people inside are always mad and rude. The doctor doesn’t even care about her patients and their babies. She’s very rude and unprofessional. As a first time mom, I can say that they don’t care and don’t seem to value younger and first time mom. I was asking questions about the pregnancy and the baby and all the stuff i want to know about my pregnancy, and their responses are rude and they are irritated when they answer you and she once told me what am I worrying about. When I was just asking about my babies body. Throughout my pregnancy that I was seeing her, I was very stressed. I needed some guidance about all the financial stuff and they cannot provide me a clear and direct answer. The people in the front desk are very rude. In terms of care, there is no care. She works very fast and doesn’t seem to care about your questions and concerns. I saw her one time and she came in to ask me how am i and the baby and movements and thats it. 3 minutes and she left. Very unprofessional and rude. Do not recommend.

Dr. Veeraswamy and all of the staff at Reno Tahoe Womens Health are amazing! I had to have a cone biopsy done, and she was professional and kind while explaining the procedure and answering all of my questions. The staff were quick to get all of my surgery appointments scheduled and communicated with me before and after my surgery. I felt cared for and in good hands the entire time. Thank you Dr. V and team for helping me through such a stressful time and always making sure my health was the priority!

I just had my first visit with Dr. Veeraswamy and had a great experience. She is a very good listener, answered all of my questions, and provided recommendations to assist with the pregnancy side effects I am experiencing. I felt as if I had her full attention during my appointment. The staff at Reno Tahoe Womens Health is also amazing. They are very friendly and got me in to see Dr. Veeraswamy within a few minutes of my arrival time.

Dr. Veeraswamy is absolutely amazing. I have worked as a nurse in this field for close to 20 years, and I have not known, nor have I worked with a more compassionate doctor. I know my entire family would agree. Her staff is always friendly and remembers me every single time. I seriously couldnt ask for better care. I recommend her to everyone I know that is looking for an OB/GYN.

First time visit, referred by my PCP. Dr. Veeraswamy and office staff were nice, however she referred me out to a surgeon for further evaluation, and the promised pain prescription did not get called in by this office - by the time I realized it had not, it was much too late to get it, so I was unable to have pain relief through the night. In retrospect, knowing the final diagnosis, made by the surgeon in about 15 seconds, I feel like Dr. V should have recognized the problem I was having given her area of expertise. I will likely establish with a different womens health specialist.

I love Dr. Veeraswamys whole team!I had to move a couple times in California during my pregnancy and then moved back to Reno, 7 1/2 months along. I was so lucky to have found Dr. Veeraswamys office in time and that she accepted me being I was so far along. I was so nervous about being a first-time mom when I started seeing her but any questions or concerns I had, she and midwife Brooke were always happy to answer. My labor and delivery was an overall excellent experience to me and I felt so cared about and safe with Dr. Veeraswamy and Brooke there. Im glad to know Ill be in their care this whole second pregnancy💕

Amazing doctor! I highly recommend her to any mom to be! Shes so friendly and caring for both you and baby. You can tell she truly loves her job by how attentive she is to her patients and dedicated she is to give you the best. So happy I found her! My delivery was an amazing expierence.

Really wish I could give no stars. Dr veeraswamy is honestly the worst medical professional I have ever dealt with. I have never felt so disrespected or dehumanized In my life. I could detail the extensive negative experiences I had with her, but I honestly don’t feel like being traumatized anymore. Pretty shocked that the reviews here are positive- if you look at her medical group on Yelp you will get a more accurate portrait of how she deals with her patients. She’s got like one star on Yelp- and the stories there are pretty similar to mine. If you are on Medicaid go to dr hsu. Dr hsu is an amazing dr and I’m so glad she delivered my baby.

Inept, incompetent and inconsiderate. She is cold and only interested in her bottom line and doesnt care about her patients. Theres clearly a reason she doesnt have associates as many doctors I spoke with have nothing good to say about her. She attempted to drop me as a patient 2 weeks before my due date. Ignored signs of preeclampsia. Did not chart any of my existing conditions. Incorrectly billed my insurance. Falsified medical records and yelled at me when I confronted her. I ended up going in for an emergency csection due to preeclampsia that she had ignored. Thankfully she wasnt the one to deliver - I am confident she would have killed me and my child. Do NOT listen to the google reviews. They are deceptively nice at the first visit and then bombard you for requests to review their office after it. Google doctor Veeraswami and look at her poor ratings and reviews on other platforms.

Went to several others before finding her. She listened to my concerns and right away I was scheduled for hysterectomy. I am now five days post op, and can’t remember the last time I was pain free. She’s amazing and caring!

She is rude, condescending, and belittling for no reason. She questioned my truthfulness when I questioned her “standard of care”. Absolutely the worst professionalism I have encountered. I am new to the state and it took some time getting into a doctor so I missed the 12 week window and she refused to order me a real ultrasound despite my concerns, as I’ve had 2 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy. This will be my 3rd delivery, but there’s no such thing as a mother’s wishes to her, it’s all about her agenda and if you don’t like that, tough. I would never let her deliver my baby let alone be my trusted doctor. I found another doctor and she was great and my delivery went beautifully. I worry that other woman are being bullied by her tyranny and receiving sub-par care.

I was prescribed a hormone that made me have SUICIDAL thoughts and crushing pelvic pain leaving me in a fetal position. I told her of these side effects (which are well documented side effects). Most doctors hear SUICIDAL and they are going to do a suicide risk assessment. But, Dr. Veersswamy said, “This is the time we circle the wagons and focus on losing weight like we talked about.. It’s time to work on losing weight and get up and go walking.” I’m becoming suicidal and considering going to the ER for the 8-9 level pain. Her discussing my weight and acting like I could just get up to go power walking was highly inappropriate. What would have happened if I had committed suicide? It’s just neglectful and her lack of caring made it easy to leave. I don’t need my weight being used against me as a barrier in receiving proper medical treatment. One day she won’t screen a person and they will potentially commit suicide. I pray a human life doesn’t have to pay to show her, her negligence.

Dr. Veeraswamy was very nice and made us feel very comfortable at our first appointment. She was very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions we had. Im looking forward to our next appointment!! :)

I wish there was a way to give her no stars or to give her negative ratings! She is a condescending, narcissist. She is rude and arrogant. She does not listen and she is very very unprofessional. Very unethical and very unprofessional. She wanted to put me on hormones to shrink a very very large mass, that was not going to work she just wanted to try and see what could happen and I was her Guinee pig, she would not listen to my concerns at all she confidently told me to look for another because she was clearly unskilled. Please look for a doctor that can address your concerns and one whos medical opinion will help you, this Dr is a waste of time and insurance.

Talked me in to an induction despite not having issues or being overdue. Left the room while I was crowning and had to be paged 5 times to come back. When she returned she left the door wide open and the curtain pulled back so a couple touring the ward got to experience my childs birth too. When my husband told her to shut the door, she said its fine, they didnt see your face... Because its fine that strangers saw everything else.Was told shed be doing her rounds at 10am and be prepped to be discharged then. Was then told shed show up at 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Discharged AMA because I was done being at hospital and waiting for a Doctor that Im directly paying for to decide when she was going to make an appearance. She told me her staff would call me to book my 6 week check up and no one has been in touch with me. Its now been 3 months.

Dr. Veeraswamy is an incredible doctor. She really took the time and listened to me and my questions and concerns. I recommend visiting her if you’re looking for a gynecologist. My appointment was fast she took care of everything I needed. I’m a satiated patient with her.

My screening with Dr. Veeraswamy was a cancer pre-surgery procedure. She was so patient, so professional, so kind, so well informed about my condition, she actually brought me to tears in gratitude for her care and concern.

Love this doctors office! I was with them throughout my whole pregnancy. They took care of me and baby pretty good. Dr. Vereraswamy delivered my first baby.

The front desk ladies are great, I felt welcome my first time. Dr. Veeraswamy is amazing. Very gentle and always makes sure your happy.

My appointments here at Reno Tahoe Women’s Health are always great. They are always there to help for anything. I really do appreciate them all.

Dr. is very nice. She is helpful and knowledgeable. Staff is friendly.The only downside is the patient rooms are dreary and depressing.
