Our insurance claim was denied for the tests that Gentry performed because she did not write any notes in our file as to why she was testing. We tried to appeal and also called the doctors office and told them what the insurance needed to approve the claim, but they would not submit the peer reviewed medical documentation as to why the tests were performed, so it was as if Gentry just did the blood tests for no reason. We ended up paying $100s of dollars out of pocket that could have been avoided by the doctor simply writing medical reasoning for the blood tests.
