A million out of 5 stars! Absolutely the BEST team. Everyone was so kind, helpful and gentle. I felt totally comfortable the entire time. I never imagined to have such a pleasant experience for a surgery. 100% recommend!

The counter nurses are very rude and they don’t know how to talk to babies parents and hiring managers should have knowledge who they are hiring , just hiring people with their only experience but not good manners . Shame on those counter people..I recommend not to go there at all.

My wife had outpatient surgery here this week and I was so impressed with the professionalism of the staff, nurses and doctors who are clearly 100% dedicated to a high level of patient care. With all the anxiety that comes with surgery, the teams positivity and attentiveness to my wife and I were so appreciated. I really cant praise them enough!

I had a D&C performed today by my OB. I was asked to arrive at 7 am and my procedure promptly started at 8 am. I went home by 9:45. It was a very smooth experience. Now, this was my very first time going under general anesthesia. The reason for my four stars are because I was quite nervous about having this procedure. My husband stayed in the waiting area, but I would have preferred him by my side during the pre-op experience. I changed into my gown and once my IV and BP monitors were hooked, I waited until the anesthesiologist and OB came to talk to me. During that time, my husband being by my side would have been comforting, but I put my big girl panties on, prayed and hoped for the best. Now that Covid restrictions arent limited, I think family members should be allowed to be with us during the pre-op in my opinion and would have made this experience a 5 stars.Once taken back, the mask was placed on my face and I was out immediately and woke up in my recovery room. The nurse offered me water and allowed me to get some rest. She also called my husband immediately to let him know everything went well and brought him back to my room.Overall, a wonderful experience. I would def recommend them to others and return for future procedures. Be aware, theres paid parking (max $10) in the garage.

Did outpatient surgery for my sons circ with Dr. Apgar. He did a fabulous job and gave directions very clearly. He made me feel comfortable to ask any questions about the procedure. Thank you Dr. Apgar and team!

I had a wonderful experience at this surgery center. Communication leading up to my surgery was very clear. I knew what to expect on the day of surgery. Every nurse I interacted with was so kind and wonderful. Before and after surgery they brought me everything I needed including blankets, medication, drinks, and crackers. Because of covid my spouse couldnt come in with me but she received a lot of communication from the nurses. She felt like she knew exactly what was going on and was called as soon as i was able to be discharged. The atmosphere was so positive you can tell that people enjoy working there which makes a big difference to patients. I felt comfortable and calm the whole time. I would recommend anyone go here and I would definitely go back if needed.

While I was awake everyone was courteous and attentive, it wasn’t till I was coming back from the anesthesia that I felt neglected, I was giving water as I was still in and out and I spilled it all over myself twice. I remember screaming for help a couple of times to tell them I needed to urinate but no one came so I had to do it on the disposable underwear they gave me. I dressed myself and walked out with a nurse next to me, did didn’t update my husband waiting outside for 7 hours. The surgeon, the anesthesiologist and the nurse attending my procedure were excellent but the rest of the personnel wasn’t.

The facility is very nice and bright. I was confused going to the lower level, but its really lovely. The beds were comfortable. Had a nice cloud moftif on the ceiling and music played. Staff is all around the best; reassuring, friendly, and attentive. The anesthesiologist and team members, were very patient waiting for some blood work info. Had me prep and ready in seconds once the had said info.I woke up from surgery shivering like a jack hammer. I believe at least 3 people sprung into action, with warm blankets to get me comfortable. They checked on me and was always in earshot ( even with my tiny voice). This being my first surgery ever, the staff here took that edge off. Thank you so much 💗. Special thanks to the two nurses who was there late, when I was the last patient to leave.

My 5 year old needed an inguinal hernia repair, our local surgeon gave us a very long appointment and then the hospital charges 6k. I know because we did with our first son, so this time we wanted to get it done quick. The center and the doctor facilitated everything and the appointment was within 4 weeks. We travelled to do the visit and the next day early in the morning, he had the surgery, the staff is caring, friendly and professional. We waited less than an hour to get prepped and do the surgery, not like in the hospital, where we had to wait for hours and my other son was starving. The surgeon, the anesthesiologist, the nurses all were friendly, comforted my child and I, answered all our questions, followed up with us couple times. Im glad we found this place, and we would highly recommend it over and over.

I arrived at 7 a.m. on a Wednesday after a 3 hour drive in from the shore. I received no formal instructions from the surgical center only my surgeons office to be there at 7 a.m.When I arrived, the door was locked and there was a sign on the door that I had to call a number in order to gain entry (glass door, people inside). I rang the buzzer instead.A young woman opened the door and asked if she could help me. I informed her that my surgeon had instructed me to be at this location for a surgical procedure at 7 a.m. She said to hold on and closed the door in my face.A few minutes later she returned, unlocked the door and said Well you should have been here at 6 and you didnt call first! I dont know what you expect us to do now! I informed her that I had no idea what the protocol was having NOT received anything from your center. She argued that that was impossible. I whipped out my phone and started scrolling through the received calls, voice mails, and emails ... all bupkiss. She said that didnt matter I should have known better to contact them for instructions to which I asked Do you want me to leave? Am I supposed to reschedule?!? She responds Do you want to leave? Theres the door!I asked to speak with my surgeon and she huffed off. She returned with all the paperwork she should have had me signing when I arrived.This is a surgical center!!! Patients are already anxious and they have to deal with these office harpies?!? Heads should roll! Simply awful experience. I will NEVER return to that center.

This was my second experience with the MD Surgery Center (1st time in 2018) and both times I received exceptional care. The staff is professional and extremely efficient. They move fast but you dont feel rushed; very thorough and friendly. The music is cool too. I am very grateful to all the nurses (Amanda, Keira, Katie and others), my doctor (Dr. Potts), anesthesiologist (Dr. Leacock) and everyone who took care of me. Please blame my head and not my heart if I didnt mention you by name. I highly recommend this facility and I appreciate the follow up call the next day on my road to recovery.

I flew from Atlanta, Georgia to Maryland Surgery Center. Everyone from the nurses to the doctors were friendly and professional. My insurance company wanted $10,000 for my surgery. Maryland Surgery did it for under $3,000 including all fees. Everything went smoothly and after a week, I feel much better. Definitely recommend.

I had an appointment for my sons circumsition at 11:30. I was advised not to feed him an hour prior to the procedure time. They had us wait almost 1 hour before coming to get my son for the procedure! By this time, my son was irritated as it was time for him to eat. I think it is very unprofessional to have us wait almost 1 hour when you advise us to not feed our son an hour before the procedure. Not happy at all with that.

I highly recommend Dr. Charbel and his surgery team for a colonoscopy. I had my first one at age 59 and the entire procedure was easy and painless. The pills to clean you out were prescribed instead of the nasty liquid I heard was very unpleasant.I even had a call from one of my nurses the next day just to check on me and answer any questions I had.Those men who have put it off as I did really need to get one done because its like a silent killer if not caught early enough. I was lucky there were no issues with me.GET IT DONE! ITS NO BIG DEAL!And it just may save your life

Had hernia surgery yesterday (July 12, 2021). I rarely write reviews, but the Maryland Surgery Center is such an exceptional place I just had to. All the staff, nurses, surgery techs, doctors are so friendly and helpful. I came from out of state and this was my 1st surgery so I was nervous. They made me feel comfortable in everyway. Everyone there is so professional but also so kind and caring. Thanks MSC!

On November.16,2021 I had my second surgery at this location with Dr. Resta an amazing doctor and cares for his patients and makes sure that you are well taken care of Thank you Dr. Resta and all the wonderful doctors that work with Dr. Resta!! The Nurses and the Anesthesiologist managed my pain very well and cared for me so nicely and gentle. The front desk was amazing as well. Best place to have surgery with no worries! You will get the best care and from doctors and staff members that really care. Thank you all for everything you did for me both times having my surgeries at this location awesome work!

I was nervous about not having my procedure in a hospital but the surgery center was fantastic. Everyone was very attentive and explained every thing that was happening. It was comfortable and very professional.

Clean and COVID friendly environment. The staff was nice. Great private waiting area. Dr. Potts did a great job with the procedure. Went home with great discharge instructions. My son healed great.

Loved my experience at the Maryland Surgery Center! Kind, caring and compassionate about healthcare. Check in was a breeze, pre and post op was great as well. Highly skilled nurses and doctors make this place run well!

I highly recommend this surgery center! The surgeons anethisialogist and nurses are amazing and care very much for their patients. I recently had surgery and due to Covid I had to go alone and Im an anxious patient when it comes to procedures but they took excellent care of me and talked me through each step. Post surgery the nurses were awesome and made sure I was comfortable and had what I needed to recover. Surgery successful and I trust these doctors with my healthcare and well being. Thanks for everything you guys rock!

I had a procedure done here on April 30th, 2021. I was very nervous as I never had anesthesia before. From the moment I stepped in everyone was very patient, kind and very professional. I hope people working there know how grateful each of us is for their work and for who they are. Thank you very much💗

I’ve had a couple of procedures done here and I’ve been impressed by the staffing and efficiency. Everyone is very professional yet warm, and they get the job done in a timely manner. I recommend them with all 5 stars.

I had a minor surgery here and I would recommend this place to no end. Clean. Attentive. Caring. And they loved my Doctor. So I got A+ attention. Thank you team. I had never even heard about this Center where I Got wonderful care!

Wife had a minor gynecological procedure and am being billed by a third party for Jointed pneumatic leg device. This was after getting prior authorizations. Did not receive any medical devices that they are billing for and saying I received. EDIT: Response to response- My wife used the online form to contact the center and received no response.

The nurses were amazing very personable especially my post-op nurse I just loved wish I could remember her name! Made a scary situation so much better they helped ease my mind.

Great staff& friendly. Explained the whole procedure before the surgery. Its a bit scary but Id rather be more informed of everything.

This place is great, from the front desk staff to the nurses and anesthesiologists, They were so friendly and thoughtful during the whole process, they even brought you WARMED towels throughout(Such a thoughtful touch to everything), the place was super clean too (you could hear them immediately spraying and wiping down once someone left, even the curtains!) I would have honestly went anywhere Dr. Block sent me because hes so wonderful, but I am so glad it was here.

Very thorough in their preparation for the procedure. Taking temperature, completing paper work and signing; administering anthestia, talk with doctor before and after procedure. Nurses and other staff taking special care of patient.

I went here to get a procedure done. And the staff was phenomenal. Even though there was a slight bump in the road prior to my procedure. The staff made sure that I was okay before and after my procedure.

Everyone involved in my experience was very caring and considerate of my needs. They took the time to explain the process and ensure I would be well looked after!

We had the Worst experience in this place, I had to wait 7 hours with no update about my wife surgery leaving me so worried about her, on top of that they tell you to wait outside rudely from the front desk, I don t recommend this place to anyone,

Dr. Ein. He performed surgery on me, everyone was very kind to me from the person at the counter, the nurses, the doctor and the anesthesiologist, the procedure lasted approximately 1 hour, they were very clear with me with the instructions I had to follow before and after Surgery.
