I’ve only been on BHRT for a week but I’m feeling a lot better. Dr. Tassone and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I was suffering for years with symptoms I knew were hormone related. Dr. T went above and beyond to make sure I get all things optimal. He was kind and made sure any and all questions I had were answered. I finally feel like I’ve found someone who listens and isn’t afraid to help me feel my best self. I’m hopeful that as I age I’ll be able to continue to gracefully with their continued care.

I am enjoying my journey with Dr Shawn Tassone. Learning about my hormones and weight loss at age 56 has been a big deal for me. Dr. Tassone bases his care upon research and science. His “test, don’t guess” philosophy and deep background in helping women makes him a superior choice, especially for women in menopause. We are so often overlooked by the medical profession. Dr. Tassone is serious, gets right to the point and continually works WITH the patient on her care. I am a new patient, but can say that my life has changed for the better with this doctor. No more hot flashes, more energy, and sleeping through the night! My blood pressure is even normalizing. I am a telehealth patient because I could not get my medical system to do what I needed. Dr. Tassone has been so impact in my health journey. He has solid solutions for the physical challenges I experience, all which he gains from simple but thorough blood panels. He does take the time in my appointments to hear my questions and concerns, but I really appreciate his ability to remain concise and focused on symtomology and solutions those symptoms. If you want someone who gets to your issues fast and is extremely effective in his approaches, cannot recommend him enough.

I heard about Dr. Tassone through a Reddit group focused on menopause. After searching for three years and six Dr.s. All failing to address my menopause symptoms appropriately. I was desperate . I questioned if I should take a chance on Dr.T because Im in NJ and he is located in TX. I took a leap of faith that this time would be worth the previous years of tears and loss of confidence that anyone cared about my outcome.My appointment was swift but not rushed. He knew exactly what was going on with me. Based on my blood work and my symptoms (which were like a LOT of menopausal women,) he was able to address my needs quickly.Time will tell if these recommendations work, but I am confident I am finally on the correct path and I finally feel heard. Feeling heard is huge! Women deserve better from the medical service community. With Dr. Tassone, you will get the advice and recommendations you should have received all along. I wish this type of care was the norm for all women everywhere and not the exception. But alas, we live in the times we do. Im not a religious person, but thank you Hormone Jesus. I feel saved.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Tassone and his office. Very empathetic and caring. We tried a couple of things, when that didn’t work, we tried something else which did. I felt SEEN and HEARD. No judgment, no pressure and the first doctor I’ve had in 15 years that actually listened to and helped me.

The long and short of it is that Dr. Tassone can and will change your life for the better.The longer story is that I started seeing Dr. T for endometriosis issues a couple of years ago. He listened to me and he believed me. He didn’t dismiss me, he didn’t make excuses for my symptoms like so many doctors had before. There are no long wait times - when you have an appointment, it’s all about you. I’m seen within less than five minutes of arrival. Dr. T, in my experience, has a kind and calm bedside manner. He’s not overly expressive - he’s busy working out solutions and a best path forward in his head while you discuss the issue at hand! The gears are already moving.Front office staff can make or break an office. Dr. T has incredibly high standards for his staff. He will nix somebody if they aren’t the right fit. Please do not let any negative office staff reviews sway you. Mina has been here for years and she is an absolute godsend. Not only is she sweet and funny but she gets things DONE and done RIGHT. I truly believe she could run that front desk with her eyes closed and she holds down the fort beyond measure.If you’re on the fence about investing in your health, please let me encourage you to stop waiting now and just call Dr. T. I had my first appointment with Dr Tassone yesterday. Scheduling the appt was super easy & the team were so friendly. Dr Tassone took the time to listen to my concerns & created a game plan that I understood & feel confident in! I’ve researched dozens of medical professionals online and decided to go with Dr.Tassone. His posts on the internet are extremely informative and helpful. He is genuine, authentic, and gifted in how he is able to assess each issue. I feel he can finally be the one who can help me through the mystery of being post menopausal and not feeling well. He debunks all the hype and simplifies the info so you don’t end up buying useless stuff and taking tons of unnecessary supplements and procedures. I feel his approach is solid and grounded, although I’ve only had a short initial telehealth session, I’m hoping that he will be my best guide to help me navigate though this complicated labyrinth of post menopausal issues. I am feeling hopeful and will adhere to his recommendations and envision myself finally resolving my issues and feeling better and better. I am hopeful that this is my last stop in my search for hormonal wellness, getting back in balance again so I can have more energy and most importantly feel great and have fun again! My only regret is that my meeting was a lot briefer than expected, but I have faith it will ultimately be the most beneficial! I’m so grateful I finally found the right doctor!

Dr Tassone is so knowledgeable about womens health. He does very through lab testing, explains it all during your visit, and makes recommendations accordingly. He also will help you find the cheapest way to obtain any prescriptions needed. Any questions you have you just send him an email and he is responsive within 24-48 hours. Its truly like having a dr by your side during a time that has many ups and downs. If he is licensed in your state I highly recommend a visit.

Dr. Tassone was somebody I was introduced to through YouTube videos. I am An elderly woman with osteoporosis and vertebral fractures and none of my doctors would discuss HRT with me. After going to many other doctors and watching many other videos from other influencers/Experts, I found that Dr. Tassone was the most relatable, the most knowledgeable, and had Current pertinent information. It was easy to get in touch with his staff have my blood drawn and set up a video consultation.The video consultation was easy to attend, and our conversation was everything that I needed it to be. He listened to everything I had to say ,gave me excellent information ,put a plan of action in place, and let me know that anytime I need to call him or reach out to him ,he would be available to me.I am very pleased with Dr. Tassone and his staff.

Update : Second Appt, Follow up. Short and sweet. Dr Tassone 5 week follow up telephone call. Fortunately I had a great response to the hormones. Nothing else to do except follow up in one year. Call for refills or anything else. I am so blessed, so happy!!!Today was my first telemed appointment that I have ever had and first appt with Dr. Tassone. It went well. He asked me about my symptoms and why I want hormone therapy. We discussed the supplements I use. He reviewed my lab results. I was free to ask questions and comment.. I felt very comfortable during the discussion. He then recommended that I slow down on my Vit D because my levels are elevated and discussed the treatment plan and where he was sending prescriptions. He asked if i had any questions.. I asked about the next follow-up and he made the appt for me. Overall it was a great conversation and use of time.

Dr. Tassone is very thorough and efficient. He shows that he cares about his patients and doesn’t run unnecessary tests. He explains things well enough for people to understand and help make appropriate decisions. I am very grateful.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tassone for years. When I first found him I was burned out, exhausted, and felt the worst I had, probably ever. He was so kind, listened to me, and ordered labs and tests to try and determine why. He devised a thorough treatment plan and we slowly dialed in the medications I needed to be well again. I flew all the way from Oregon to see Dr T today. (27yrs old for age reference). I was nervous AF before my appointment. Dr T & Mina were both friendly & made the clinic a good experience. I loved seeing the wall decor in his waiting room. I’m looking forward to working more w/ him on fixing the issues I have. If you have any hesitations on whether or not you should see him in person when not licensed in your state, just go ahead & schedule in person visit.

I am 56 years old. I have been working with Dr. Shawn Tassone for 4 months, and I feel absolutely amazing!! We started the initial program by doing blood work and we followed that up with a zoom call. I saw him for a second option for my fibroids and he was deeply attentive, gave me various options, and I felt a lot of relief when I left my appointment with him. I would highly recommend him! Best gynecology visit of my life! I’m 54 and should not have to be waiting for hours at OBGYN offices with all the pregnant women. Dr. Tassone’s main focus is about women’s health particularly women going through menopause. His office is so serene and calm. It’s like walking into a spa. Yesterday, I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. T to discuss my recent lab results. During our meeting, I was able to ask all my questions, and Dr. T was incredibly patient and thorough with his answers. After carefully examining my lab results, Dr. T proposed a treatment plan he believed would be most effective for me. He explained the reasoning behind each step of the plan, and I found his explanations very enlightening. I am confident in Dr. Ts knowledge and expertise, and I trust that his recommendation will lead to a positive outcome.

I needed my Essure coils removed and was terrified that a hysterectomy seemed to be my only option. Dr Tassone was able to remove them safely by just removing the tubes and leaving everything else in place. I am so happy with how easy the procedure was, how small the scars are, how easy it was to communicate with the Dr and staff and even how reasonable the pricing was. Thank you!!

**** UPDATE ****I just wanted to update on my review - not sure if you can increase an already 5 star review. But it has been 2 ish months on the treatment plan and I am feeling like a whole new person. My friends and family can tell, I certainly can tell. My PMDD symptoms are next to none. I dont cramp, my cycle lengths and period lengths have started going back to my normal. I have more energy and my moods are drastically improved (which my husband is super thankful for :P). I sleep like a rock, even wake up to my alarm now. My hair shedding has dramatically reduced and I think I saw some baby hairs this week in one spot. Its really quite impressive what hormones can and cant do to your daily life.On top of that, Dr. T is always willing to answer any question, no matter if you feel like its silly. And hes willing to work with you on how your meds are administered if you feel like something else may make you more comfortable.Feeling thankful to have found him and think hes doing great things for womens health! Thank you so much Dr. T for the great things you do for us!*********************************************************Dr.Tassone was patient and caring during my initial telehealth consult. We had already done blood work to assess hormone levels prior to the appointment.I have been experiencing declining mood, memory and various physical symptoms over a course of the last 5 or 6 months at a young age. But everything my current doctors were willing to test ( which isnt much mind you) came back normal. My routine obgyn refused to do additional blood work despite all the issues I was experiencing and insisted on sticking to rigid and average guidlines that should really be reassessed as we all are different human beings.Dr. Tassone was willing to do the work and actually found at least three abnormalities that would cause any woman discomfort. I can now work on a continued treatment plan to get myself back on track.Looking forward to the continued care plan.

I am soooooo thankful for Dr. Tassone! Just had my Essure coil removed today (fallopian tubes removed) and everything from my first phone call to inquire about his services to me making it back home after surgery this morning was absolutely amazing. Everything I prayed for and more. Even the anxiety I had about surgery is gone. I appreciate Dr. T’s knowledge, confidence and passion and that he gets straight to the point. From his reviews by others alone I knew I wanted and needed him to do my removal. I appreciate him giving me a visual this morning during pre-op of what my organs would look like when the tubes were removed to help me understand even more. His prices are beyond reasonable. His staff is prompt and amazing. Especially Mina. She answered every question I had so well.Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. T! The most challenging part was waking up from the anesthesia lol. I just wanted to nap lol. I’m feeling great. Pain is minimal. I feel like I’m going to feel like myself again. I’ve mentioned my concerns with Essure numerous times and the response I would get is “What is Essure? How do you spell? Oh ok, well, I don’t think it is causing you the issues you are experiencing.” I’ve gotten that over and over by more than one provider. Even the ones that were the best of them overall in my eyes. I’ve had health issues in the past that led to Essure being recommended and with so many diagnosis it was hard for me to pinpoint what was the cause of my pain and discomfort. But not being heard countless times didn’t make it any better. I was just put on medication that I didn’t need.I’m thankful for the many women that shared their experiences with Essure and Dr. Tassone. I’ve been researching about the removal for a few years and landed on Dr. T a year ago and the day has finally came and went. I’m so grateful. And thank you, Dr. T for working with St. David’s. Everyone that came in my room was amazing. Seriously. I definitely felt the care and reassurance that I was in great hands. I had one other great medical care years ago, but this topped it all the way around.To anyone needing Essure removal you will not be disappointed. Your needs will be met from the smallest of gestures to the ultimate goal of removal. Thank you for all you did for me and my family, Dr. Tassone :) We’ll all be better for it.

First visit with Dr T. I have been seeing another person for the past year with no relief so I came to see Dr T. I am hopeful and looking forward to him helping me get my hormones under control and my libido and energy back. My only comment is that he didn’t introduce himself when he came in - nothing huge since I knew it was him but a quick hello and nice to meet you is always nice :)

I really appreciate the time Dr Tassone dedicated to a face to face conversation for my first visit. He was prepared with answers to my questions based on actually ordering labs *before my first visit (that was REALLY cool!) AND reading them over first (coming in to the appointment prepared is not common for doctors these days). I felt very comfortable there as the staff is incredibly friendly. Dr Tassone has a strong presence on Instagram and you can see he is passionate about what he does and believes in helping to educate his patients.

Dr. Tassone has been amazing throughout the whole process. He has been the only doctor to take my pain seriously and was so reassuring when I had to have surgery. Everyone in the office has been amazing as well. Hands down would 100% recommend.

Dr. Tassone is a true expert, which is why I decided to drive 8 hours to have my surgery done by him. He is very thorough and listened to my concerns without interruption. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained my symptoms perfectly, without me having to tell him, I was truly shocked. I knew almost immediately that he was the Dr. for me. Dr. Tassone gave me my life back and I’m now completely pain free. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I also started dealing with hot flashes, sugar cravings, brain fog, the list literally could go on and on. I had an endometrial ablation in 2021 so I couldnt go by my periods to suggest menopause. I met with my gyn for my yearly and asked for bloodwork, she said it would be a waste of time because hormones change week to week, so went to my family Dr and same answer. I had been following Dr Tassone and everything he said made sense so I decided to make an appointment. Bloodwork was drawn and sure enough I was menopausal. He was so knowledgeable and caring. I felt very heard and cared for by Dr. Tassone and his nurse. I believe her name was Mia. After sharing their thoughts they both made it a point to ask me about my desires and goals. It is evident that Dr. Tassone is incredibly passionate about educating his patients so they can make informed and empowered decisions about their health. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is one of his employees who called me was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Im glad to have access to a doctor that can look at the big picture of womens hormones. The podcast is great and covers so many things that women struggle with or wonder about. My first appointment- the intake process was disappointing and felt unfriendly and there was poor communication on trying to transfer my lab results from another provider which was very stressful. But my second appointment went better and was more friendly so maybe the portal could use a little work and if they made sure to let people know ahead of time if their records were actually received or not so that people arent having to put a rush request in for the 3rd time at their previous provider at the last minute. The appointment with Dr. Tassone was very helpful and I was able to get what I needed with hormone balance and some concerns that I have as Im approaching menopause.

Dr. Tassone is a true expert. I met him last year after 4 physicians told me I was fine even though I had some pretty horrible symptoms. After many years of seeing numerous doctors (from gynecologist, liver, autoimmune to more doctors) for different issues I was having, only to be told it’s normal, my age, or not sure…I finally found Dr. Tassone! He listened and explained everything that I needed to know, plus more. On November 17, 2022, Dr. Tassone performed a total hysterectomy (including removing ovaries). This surgery also removed the Essure device. I woke up from the surgery feeling better than I’ve felt in MANY years. I’m 6 weeks post op and feel GREAT. I have not had any complications. Last week my PCP saw me (for 6 month check up/BP) and said I look better and seem so much happier now. She also looked at my incisions and said whoever my surgeon was, did an amazing job! As a Dr - Dr. Tassone is the best at what he does. Cannot recommend highly enough. However, in order to use the best you have to be willing to maneuver the frustration of his office staff. Phone calls and email go unanswered - honestly dont even bother. If you dont get a real person when you call - dont leave a message - just keep calling. I have been waiting for months for the pathology report from my surgery - which to be fair most of the delay was because of the hospital. However, the last time I called I was told mine was in the stack that was being sent out that day. Its been two weeks - still havent received it. I called again. I was told the ones that were being sent were sent. I asked when were they sent - I was told - dont know. I said so what do I do if I havent received it. I was told - just keep waiting until it shows up. As frustrating and irritating as inefficient and unhelpful support staff are - Dr Tassone is worth the hassle. Just set your expectations and be prepared for the extra time it will take to have to maneuver the administrative inefficiencies.

So happy i found Dr Tassone, for my hysterectomy. I had surgery almost 3 weeks ago and feel great! Very small incisions and no opioids were needed. I was even back to work in 9 days! I got the hysterectomy for Essure, cyst and endometriosis removal. Dr Tassone cares about his patients and it shows! He is the best and you will receive great care by him and his staff!

Dr Tassone is professional and knowledgeable. He makes you feel comfortable. The staff is very personable.

Dr. Tassone was awesome! However, his staff is disorganized, a bit curt and not very good about communication with patients. I had to call 3 times to set up my procedure. And to get the details of my portion of the cost was also difficult. 4/21/2021-Update The staff called yesterday to apologize for the confusion. $400 for an appointment and office staff couldn’t be bothered to respond to questions through multiple avenues. Canceled any continued care with them and then they suddenly were able to respond. Requested a refund because it’s too expensive for the service given, struggled to get my rx for a week, had to pay for a rush order and then drive 40 minutes to get it myself. Staff continued saying it was because of the weather but I can’t imagine it would be that difficult to reply to an email when the storm was 5 days prior. continued getting a runaround on if I would be given a refund (I will not be because apparently me being the middleman between them and the pharmacy is how their system functions? I paid $400 and they couldn’t even call the pharmacy themselves to clear up any confusion?) 3 stars because doctor tassone himself was fine. I’m just not interested in continuing on with an office that doesn’t seem to prioritize patients. I was very excited for this appointment after struggling for almost two years to find someone to help with this very specific issue.

Yes, I was satisfied. Dr. Tassone listened and addressed my concerns. However, I am looking to address my medical issues in a natural way. I was expecting Dr. Tassone to take a different approach. I thought he was described as a doctor who used an integrative, holistic approach, so the last thing I was expecting as a starting point were diagnostic tests and prescriptions. I am considering his recommendations. I like to sleep on things and do my research, but I am glad the prescriptions are not ready. I am careful about what I put into my body. Saw Dr. Tassone for Essure Removal/partial hysterectomy. The staff and Dr. Tassone are covered in awesomesauce! Great customer service and communication. My scars are small and Dr. Tassone made sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. I made him aware that I was having some anxiety before surgery and the anesthesiologist took great care of me lol The surgery center that was used was phenomenal and didnt feel like a hospital. Dr. Tassone and his staff have great bedside manner and they are very helpful, caring, and attentive. If you have the Essure implants and are needing them removed, I highly recommend Dr. Tassone even if he is a ways away from you. I live about 3 hours away from his office but it was so worth it! I have been going to Tassone Gynecology for several years and am beyond satisfied with his staff and his level of care. Dr Tassone is amazing but his staff is unprofessional and no communication skills. I worked in a dr office for 8 years and if people are traveling to see the doctor they need to know everything before getting there. They almost prevented me from getting my surgery done. It took them weeks to call me, scheduling took a month. No return phone calls and I also asked a question while on the phone once and I got my quick answer and they hung up.

I have had terrible experiences with other gynos regarding Essure coils. Dr. Tassone has a cult like following amongst women dealing with the aftermath of Essure and hoped he lived up to the hype—let me tell you—he DID! The entire experience was excellent and he takes time to answer all questions and address all concerns in an educational manner. I messaged a friend to recommend him before I even made it home from my first appointment.

After my PCP told me my fatigue was “normal” for being a mom of 2 young boys I began searching for answers and solutions and the right person that’s not just going to put me on a prescription and send me on my way. Because let’s be real, it wasn’t just fatigue (I’ll save the list of symptoms).I came across Dr. Tassone from a guest appearance he did on a podcast that I listen to about ways to get your energy back. WOW!!!!! A male doctor is telling me things that my own female doctor was clueless about!?!? He was saying things only a doctor who actually LISTENS to their patients would know, regardless of gender. I took his quiz, read his book, and listen to his podcast. During this time my flare ups with my Hashimoto’s was getting worse, though I didn’t know I had Hashimoto’s at that time. Hoping I could make changes, not knowing what I was needing to change only made the hole I was in feel deeper and darker. I finally booked my appointment. I’m kicking myself because I waited as long as I did.It took time to be this broken and it will take time to heal, but my life is coming back, the lights are coming on, the weight is slowly coming off, the list of symptoms is getting shorter, and I’m starting to feel like the person I use to be.If it wasn’t for Dr. Tassone I’d be like so many women that know there is something wrong but having the wrong doctor tell you all the wrong things and not run the right test.Thank you for giving me my life back Dr. Tassone.

I went to see Dr. Tassone due to pain issues I was having. From the start he made.me feel confident that he was going to take care of me. He and his office staff were well worth the drive I made from my hometown. Everyone was always helpful and caring. I had surgery just 2 days ago and I am so very thankful I made the decision to see him instead of someone local to my area.

Dr. Tassone was very professional. And so was his assistant. I had a very short wait time before I was seen. The examination was thorough and didnt take long. I have been to other offices in the past where you wait a long time before you are seen. During my visit, his assistant asked detailed questions about me and my health. Before I was told to put on the robe for the exam, Dr. Tassone came in and he too, asked detailed questions about me and my health before the exam even began. That is what impressed me the most. He was trying to get to know me first before proceeding with the exam. I think the knowing more about me moment was helpful as he was very thorough when he began the exam, asking important questions throughout. Afterwards, he ordered blood work to check my hormone levels. Hopefully, that will get to the root cause of what is going on with me. I havent had hormone blood work done before. He is the first doctor to recommend this.

The appointment was prompt and to the point. I drove 2 hours to attend this clinic because my own doctor told me they don’t normally order women’s hormone panels because the amount are always changing (duh!), even despite telling her I had some real symptoms and a huge family history of hormonal imbalances. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to drive 4 1/2 hours to have Dr. Tassone perform surgery for the removal of the Essure devices. Prior to surgery, Dr. Tassone ordered hormone bloodwork and placed me on hormone replacement made specifically for me. Within one week of administering the hormone replacement, I felt better than I had in the past two years. From initial consultation, surgery and recovery everything went like clockwork. I am going to continue to see Dr. Tassone-he and his staff are worth the drive.

He’s very nice and kind. Dr. Tassone is very thorough while explaining to me my results whether it be my lab results, Dutch test results, and etc. I appreciate his kindness and understanding. I have to agree with some of the reviews on here about staff/front desk. I too have encountered the cattiness and unprofessionalism. There was a mix up with my prescription and it had been sent to the office with no response for 10 days. I also called and left a message expressing my concern and frustration without a returned phone call. When I finally got a hold of the front desk. She denied having any missed calls or messages from the pharmacy. So I guess we are both lying??? I tried explaining my situation and was given passive aggressive responses or questioned as if I don’t know what I’m talking about. As a clinical director myself, staff like this can really hurt a business and it’s a shame because Dr. TASSONE is wonderful. Dealing with staff like this however makes you question whether it’s worth the hassle. I don’t need excuses when I call. Just remedy the problem when a patient needs help.

Dr. Tassone has helped me tremendously. I am 49, menopausal and was experiencing a lot of symptoms associated with menopause. After doing some research, I found Dr. Tassone and had high hopes that he would be the right provider to work with me to provide the right medication and guidance to help me through this journey. He listens and understands hormones (he wrote a book on it after all, called the Hormone Balance Bible). My experience has been great so far. After analyzing my bloodwork and listening to me, he prescribed bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and I am feeling so much better! No more hot flashes; I am sleeping through the night again and energy level is improving. I highly recommend him if you are like me and want to feel better during this phase of life.

From my initial call into the office, I had spoken to the staff about all cost for this appointment as I was paying out of pocket. Even when I arrived I confirmed the cost ($250 w/ a 20% discount for OOP) before going into the appointment. I was honored that cost on my visit and was told I would talk to Dr.Tassone in two weeks with the results. No other information was given. When that two weeks came around I got a phone call from the office 30 minutes before my scheduled time to talk to Dr. Tassone and was asked if I was able to pay $200+ for this appointment. I was completely taken back by this. I had spoken to the office staff multiple times, inquiring multiple times about cost. No once did any of them mention of this additional cost. Youd think this would be included in the cost, as all patients would want to talk to the doctor about their results. Needless to say, Im very disappointed, as this ruined my full experience with Dr.Tassone and his staff.

Dr. Tassone delivered my baby boy via emergency c-section. Dr. Tassone is very professional, and knows the right routes for literally everything. He made my 12 day hospital stay very comfortable, I knew I was in good hands. Such a classy office, and not to mention Kim is just as wonderful as he is. They are a very professional team.
