Dr. Yanett Anaya, MD

I saw Dr. Anaya in April 2020 when we were trying to start a family. I had received test results that indicated it might be challenging to get pregnant. Dr. Anaya was very kind and the initial appointment seemed fine. It was the very start of the pandemic and she suggested we wait to try and start a family given that no one knew how risky it would be to have a baby during a COVID outbreak. That advice was given despite knowing we had limited time because of my age. I tried to follow up in May and June to no avail. We started trying anyway over the summer but didnt have any luck. When I tried to get in touch with Dr. Anaya and her office to seek additional support, I never received a response. I had indicated I wasnt ready to pursue IVF, but I was simply looking for advice on alternative methods before we reached that route. Could we look at PCOS, were my fallopian tubes blocked, could we do IUI? I never heard back after several attempts to get in touch. We never got pregnant because I went into early menopause in 2022. I always think back and wonder if I had had a different doctor who was more responsive and available or gave different advice, would the outcome have been different. I dont doubt that Dr. Anaya is a great fertility doc, but I wanted to share my experience. I never felt heard or seen by her or her office and still think about it from time to time.
