I had the most an amazing experience of delivering baby with Doctor K. She provided exceptional attention to detail, especially after my difficult first birth experience. She took great care of me and repaired the issues from my first delivery with such expertise. Although shes no longer delivering babies, I know she is continuing to dedicate herself to womens care. I highly recommend her with a 10 out of 10 rating.

I have been with Dr. Khawaja for more than a decade. I have never been pregnant but have adopted my children. She always made me feel important and was concerned about my health and preventive care. I was so happy when her Santa Rosa office started offering Semiglutide for weight loss. The doctor and staff were very encouraging through my weight loss journey. The office staff was great and worked around my work schedule . I highly recommend this office for you your health care needs.

I have been seeing Dr Khawaja for almost 2 years now for various issues and have recommended her to everyone. Her and her team are amazing, so kind and extremely helpful. I recently did the Semaglutide program and could not be happier, I feel better with myself then I have in a very long time. Not only did I drop 20 pounds but I have learned a healthier way of living so I have the confidence that I can keep the weight off. Anyone on the fence about the program should diffidently give it a try, it is worth it.

I’ve been working with Dr Khawaja for two months now with semaglutide shots, and now Emcella pelvic floor treatments. Both treatments have had truly astonishing results. Yes, the weight loss without nausea has been amazing, but even more amazing is the complete absence of any type of addictive behaviors. It’s like a switch was just turned off. Google it! It’s a thing! No desire to eat any food I don’t need, no desire to buy anything I don’t need. Completely amazing to live like this now.I’ve also had two Emcella treatments for pelvic floor rehab. After the treatment, just like any workout, the pelvic floor muscles are fatigued, so any urinary incontinence issues get a bit worse for a moment. However, I did notice a remarkable difference (TMI) after a test run with the husband. Ahem. The second treatment was even more marked. I’m very much looking forward to the results after the sixth. Even the quality and appearance of my external bits are improved. One caveat to remember: just like any physical fitness regime, the further one is from baseline, the longer the slog. That being said, at 52, and absolutely not in peak form, I feel my gains have been impressive. Highly recommend.

The Modern Woman Med-Spa is AWESOME!!!!!! What can I say the staff and Dr. Khawaja are so nice, supportive, and very helpful.Dr. Khawaja is currently helping me on my weight loss journey. I started getting the Semiglutide injections in January and along with healthy eating and exercise I have lost 10 lbs and have managed to keep it off. I am still a work in progress but without Dr. Khawajas help and guidance I would still be my old weight.Dr. Khawaja really does care, your success is her success. I highly recommend this office.

The midwives are amazing, the doctor and office, not so much. I was pressured to take a medicine that I refused multiple times (with shaming from the doctor), and it was later recalled by the FDA (so glad I refused). Beyond that, the billing in the office is very unresponsive. I paid cash for an appointment in 2021 that was supposed to be reimbursed as they billed my insurance, and they refuse to reimburse me. I have called no less than 20x, and have spoken to their billing person from 2021 and 2022, both of whom say they are waiting on the doctor. The latest call I made on 12/7, I spoke to Mary, now two weeks ago, and of course they never called me back despite claiming they would. I would avoid this office if you can.

I would give a 0 star if I could. Absolutely worst experience ever. I was seen in January to get an IUD replacement. They said they would order one and let me know when it’s in. I never heard from them. My insurance was ending so I called back at the start of June and they gave me excuses as to why I was never contacted said their office doesn’t take my pharmacy and I need to be seen in their Healdsburg office. I let them know about my insurance and the time crunch. They said they would try to get me in before my insurance ended. I never heard back from them. I called them twice with no success!!! Totally unacceptable to treat a patient like this.

I made my appointment in September 2022 due to my doctor retiring and wanted to be out of the Healdsburg hospital experience so that my free annual visits wouldnt cost me hundreds of dollars. I was referred to modern woman, transferred my records and scheduled an appointment for June 27, 2023. A few weeks back I received a notification that the practice moved to the hospital. I called immediately and expressed my frustration and they told me to give it a try and that Id love the Doctor. I didnt get a reminder phone call, email, or text, so I called to verify my appointment due to being about an hour away and they told me the doctor is not in on Tuesday... Why was my appointment made on a Tuesday? Why does the website say they are open Monday through Friday? Why did they waste my time? Why did the representative verify my appointment just weeks ago?

Since becoming a patient of Dr Khawajas almost two years ago now, I am so grateful for her and the entire team at The Modern Woman. Very comprehensive regular Obgyn care, as well as pre and postnatal. Im grateful to be a patient here!

Long overdue appreciation for Dr Khawaja and team at The Modern Woman. Since I have started seeing this team nearly two years ago, they have been incredibly responsive to all of my needs and genuinely caring. I was a tough case with fibroids that caused sustained heavy bleeding and in June 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer just before having an hysterectomy. This delayed the procedure as the need for chemotherapy initially outweighed the need for the surgery. Unfortunately, as my chemo treatments progressed the bleeding increased to uncontrollable. Dr Khawaja worked with my oncologist to make sure I received the best care which meant creating a window in my treatments for the hysterectomy to occur. Under Dr Khawaja’s care and skill as a surgeon, I had a full hysterectomy with no major side effects, a scar that even my oncologist says is the best she has seen and I am recovering well while being able to resume chemotherapy. Writing this the day before Thanksgiving and feeling extremely grateful for Dr Khawaja, her team and everyone at The Modern Woman. PS - If there were a 6th star they would definitely get that from me.

All the ladies here are very sweet and my experience with Dr. Khawaja with my first pregnancy was very good. Khawaja has a very calm and quiet demeanor. I’m on my second now and Midwife Suzanne Saunders is taking care of me. She has a great positive energy, very kind and patient with all my questions. No bad experiences yet. The only con is that every appointment I have is usually 15 mins later than scheduled. But I feel like that’s a common occurrence at doctor’s offices.

Love the staff here - best OBGYN and Midwife/Midwifery services in Santa Rosa.I have been through 3 perfect pregnancies here and have loved how cared for I feel. My labor and delivery were so smooth - it is was scary how easy it was.Dr Khawaja is so sweet although I have never used her to personally deliver any of my kids. Suzi is the bomb! Fun, kind, knowledgeable and flexible. We had such a great time waiting for this baby and for the 5 minutes that I actually pushed.I would not hesitate to recommend anyone pregnant or looking for great OB GYN care in Santa Rosa. the modern woman is the place to go if you are pregnant the first time or the 4th time.

Cecilia made my delivery a nightmare. She was rude, impatient and just seemed annoyed by everything I said or did while I was IN LABOR she was actually so mean to me at one point that I was in complete tears. She was not my regular doctor just the dr on call. Not to mention this facility sent a bill to collections that I knew nothing of, and I had insurance so it never should of been my responsibility in the first place!!! Which totally screwed with my credit. I never even recieved a bill or phone call. Only found out about it a year later after checking my credit report. The waiting room here was always crowded and the staff in the office were not very friendly at all. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!

If I could give negative stars, that would definitely happen. I cannot speak for all of the doctors in this place but I was seen by Amalia Grey. I showed up pregnant with constant leg cramps which ended up lasting three weeks. I was not only ignored but told I have no reason to miss work. I was ignored to the point the three weeks passed not one time she even looked at my legs nor sent me for further testing. After a week of no pain I suddenly had chest pain. She told me it was normal I was apparently stretching for the baby {I had just lost 15 lbs due to hyperemisis} but again believed what she said as I had no choice. After hospital testing and her denying the fact I needed a CT-skan I finally was admitted when the right side of my chest started hurting. Many doctors there told me had I waited any longer I probably would have died. I had blood clots which were in my legs and traveled to my lungs which turned into a pulmonary embolism as well as infarction (dead tissue on the lungs). I have never felt so much pain in my life and been told it is normal. Not only a lesson in listening to yourself but also to check who is seeing you. I hope no one else is put through what I went through and hope that if you choose this place at all you do not see her. Better yet dont go there at all there is an amazing OBGYN right up the next floor!!

The medical assistants are fantastic, better than the doctors. Sorry, dont sell me a product and not take care of me. Self absorbed doctor.

Terrible place! Do not go to if you do not want to be paying out of pocket for test and things. They would not work with my insurance for a test they said was medically needed . Was extremely difficult to work with.

Love my doctor and the midwives seem nice so far. Two months out from due date
