Reserving an appt. was easy through the app. Check in was quick and receptionist answered my questions. Care was completed in a timely manner and a followup phone call 2 days after my visit was unexpected but very welcome and appreciated. Great care is delivered at the Telfair location. Highly recommended.

I went to this location yesterday July 30 2024 since Ive had services here before and it was amazing. Not this time. Now it seems as if its all about money . I was told my insurance is not in there network and therefore not accepted. instead of saying, hey we can see you can you pay out of pocket as a cash patient or something.. instead I was looked at as if I couldnt pay and therefore not treated. I have never been treated this way. bet if I rolled up in a masarati I would of been serviced immediately. lucky a dr was able to see me at another urgent care facility. I would stay clear of this location. They are all about the money. not the care of the patients...

The fact that I was able to get excellent care and Im uninsured due to being laid off. The staff & Dr. O were so kind. His compassion and care go beyond words for me. He listened to me carefully and diagnosed me quickly. He even listened compassionately as I cried regarding the diagnosis.

I went to this urgent care on June 25th, 2024 because I had great experiences in the past. However, this was not the case on my last visit. I went to determine if I had the flu or if my autoimmune/or infection was causing my fever/terrible body aches. I wanted to rule out the flu. The “doctor” refused to give me a flu test, asked questions for over 15 mins and refused to believe that I had a gut bacterial infection-that he had no medical knowledge of-except for what he may have read in Google. My ultimate goal was to rule out having the flu so I could determine a course of action. I started to tear up (I turned 49 that day so not how I wanted to spend my birthday) and could not believe this is how I was being treated. I was about to leave and that’s when the said I could test for flu. This was the most unprofessional man I have ever dealt with. He ultimately was lecturing me- and I could not understand what his end goal was with treating me. I did not test positive for the flu so I was able to talk to my doctor about my next course of action (which turned out to be a serious bacterial infection). This is not how anyone should be treating patients. When the text came through regarding my experience, I asked to be contacted, but no one ever did. If you go here, because I did have good experiences in the past, please leave if you have are not treated properly. I wish I did, but I was in turmoil regarding my health so I needed answers ASAP. I guess crying and threatening to leave is how you get treated from that particular employee. By the way, I was there for 45 mins (they had a computer glitch and I had to wait 20 mins before I was even seen and not one other patient was there).

Just had a pretty bad encounter with a provider at this urgent care. It seemed just wanted to hurry up and close the encounter considering it was 7pm. She told to take over the counter medications and refused X-ray. During the whole encounter was extremely rude. I have been a patient at this location and this has never happened before. Guess will have to find a new urgent care next time.

This is my go to place when I need urgent care. Been coming here for years. Very fast and efficient when you schedule your appointments ahead of time.

I was a walk-in patient. I received fast professional medical treatment and advice. Nurses and Doctors were caring and friendly. I hope I don’t get injured or sick again but if I do, this is my go-to place.

My experience was excellent, I was a walk in patient. Didn’t have to wait long before I was called in to be checked by the doctor. The doctor and medical assistant were very polite and were very attentive to listen to my problem and attended to my problem.It is great to have such good people taking care of the patient in the Urgent Care Clinic.

I’ve been to a lot of urgent cares, and this is the best by far that I’ve ever been to. Great staff very efficient. I Saved a spot and didn’t have to wait at all. Highly recommend!

Memorial Hermann lost me as a customer when they started flying Pride Flags in front of their hospitals and clinics. There is only one flag in this country for all Americans. Flying a divisive and politically-charged flag that honors only one group of people in society is discrimination pure and simple. It is the same as flying the Hamas flag or the Ku Klux Klan flag, which certain groups of people, unfortunately, support. There is only one flag in the United States and that is the Stars and Stripes.

I was attended promptly for registration. Shortly I saw the doctor who diagnosed the illness and recommended proper medications. Everything went smoothly.

Came in with extreme case of hives. They didn’t have on-site shots to manage it. In addition was given a very low dose prescription. Thankfully was able to get into my normal dr the next day who prescribed 4x the dose given to me at urgent care.

I want to thank everyone!! Everyone treated me with respect and very nice to me!! I was seen quickly!! I felt safe in their care.!! I am glad yall are there, for everyone!!

Everyone at the office was extremely welcoming! I did not feel like just another tick on their box, so to speak. The lady who saw to me and the lady who took my vitals were polite yet personable. I ended up having to have my ear cleaned out and even though the very nature of this treatment is disgusting, not once did I feel embarrassed (and that’s very high praise because I’m normally not comfortable at the drs). Very very spectacular staff!!

It was great however I sent a message to the portal that I need diflucan with the bacterium and no one ever called me

The staff were so unfriendly and makes you feel unwelcome. The waiting area was too small so they ask you to fill the papers and wait outside. The way they talk to you made me feel like they don’t want my business. Also I was not allowed to accompany my wife to the dr. with no explanation. I had been in couple clinics and emergency and I was allowed.Strongly Don’t Recommend This place.

The staff and doctors were very attentive and took care of my issues very quickly. I went at 9:30 and there was no wait.

The amount of focus on my 4yr old and figuring out what was wrong with her, I Must say best experience Ive had in a long very long time. The nurses and doctor were extremely attentive to my daughters needs and trying to explain to me every step and procedures being done And not to forget the gentleman in the front he was great! 😊 thank you very much!

Our daughter injured a toe so we took her to this facility. I must say that the medical staff there is either incompetent or careless. First a X-ray was not taken and secondly she was given 3 wound stitches that made the situation worse. At night we had to take her to the ER. The ER doctor was surprised to see the way these stitches were done and caused excessive bleeding. He removed them. Also, she had a fracture that the urgent care staff failed to assess. ER has documented the negligence by the urgent care in the report and how it caused further issues. In short, a nightmare and sheer case of negligence and unprofessional conduct. I am contemplating sueing them.

It was very easy to make an appointment online while the clinic was closed.The facility is relatively new and attractive. The personal were very professional but yet friendly.The PA was very thorough in his examination. I was diagnosed with bronchitis. They administered a 15-minute breathing treatment and submitted three prescriptions online to HEB. I was in and out in just over an hour.I havent seen the bill. They are an approved provider for my insurance so I only paid a small co-pay.I would definitely recommend it and will go back when/if the need arises.

Clean, almost no wait time and that is why has couple of stars. The medical assistants are friendly. Capability of doing the basic tests. The providers are always nurse practitioners at this location, not very updated on treatment for even common conditions.

I had been to 2 different urgent cares and the ER before discovering this place on line. I was pleased upon arrival that my daughters insurance was accepted. When I walked in I was greeted by a warm and friendly receptionist, everyone there was so nice. NP Ani Stephen was so kind and compassionate and had excellent knowledge and bedside manner. I would most definitely recommend this office to others.

This place was easy to find. They were quick. Employees were very nice and Dr was very helpful, easy to talk to, he listened and knew what to do

My daughter is three years old, and she was able to recognize how expedited her treat and care was. After all, she said, Mom, are we done yet? I answered. Yes! And she said good job! They are very fast.

The doc who served me has an AMAZING bedside manner. Aside from her cold hands, she was informative, professional, and courteous. Wife and I felt comfortable with her. Kudos, for sure.

Went in Friday after falling at home & hurting my back. Got in quickly & nurse practitioner was very thorough.X-ray technician was very nice & patient. Also the call back after they received the radiologist report explaining what they saw and recommended was within 4hrs.

Front desk was very accommodating to check me in 2 hours earlier than my appointment with no waiting time. The nurse and Nurse practitioner were very nice and knowledgeable. Ani Stephen NP explained thoroughly about my health concern that helped me a lot to ease my worries. Also had my prescription medicine ready when I picked it up.

Minimal wait time for urgent care. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The visit was a complete waste of time and money. I drove close to 30 miles to be checked out and could not be helped because the place could not take x-rays. You people have Memorial Herman plastered all over your website, the person checking me out could not/would not contact my physician at Memorial Herman. As far as I am concerned you are not an urgent care just a cold and flu clinic. I would only recommend your facility as a last resort to dying,

Very experienced staff and doctor, excellent listening skills, accurate diagnosis in a professional, kind and timely manner. This is not the usual anymore in healthcare so I was quite pleased. The place to go for quick, accurate, professional care. Many thanks and I am feeling much better.

I was able to make a same day appointment online. Showed up for my appointment with little to no wait time. The process of getting checked in to getting to see the health professional was efficient. The nurse practitioner was very nice, thorough & professional. I was out in less than an hour including the testing I needed. Very good experience.

Dr. Ozzy was thorough, polite, listened to all of our complaints, and addressed them. He was truly wonderful.

Wow, unbelievably unfriendly receptionist and nurse. Completely rude and inconsiderate. I don’t recall every giving a bad review on google. This one’s deserved. Very disappointed. Won’t be back to that location even though our entire family has been going there for 4+ years. Still shocked at the rudeness.

I had a great experience at urgent care, didn’t have to wait much specially when my daughter couldn’t stop vomiting and they called her rite away once paper work was done. Staff, nurse and doctor were very kind. Thank you

I am not surprised by the poor ratings of this place. This is the worst place you could be. It seems like the person at the front desk instead of helping the patients is more interested in charging and enforcing some minor rules. I have never met such a rude front desk person. My son had twisted his ankle and what all she was worried about that 3 persons can not enter their place which I needed to bring him inside because of the very reason that they couldnt provide a wheelchair. I wanted a wheelchair and she was interested in me filling out the form first. Even then I didnt receive one. I hope I would have a better experience with the treatment till then they dont even deserve 1 star.

I recently went to urgent clinic for my skin rash. Physician assistant saw me and he said that this is bacterial infection. He prescribed me an antibiotic for 7 days. My rash was keeping getting worst. Finally I went to dermatologist. She said that it’s not a bacterial infection. I was misdiagnosed and took antibiotics for no reason. I hope physician assistants should learn how to diagnose correctly.

Front desk was very helpful with checking in my kids (I had to bring in more than one) helping me with insurance confusion. My visit (as a walk-in) was 30 minutes from start to finish. They have excellent customer service and excellent work ethic!

Brought my daughter in for an abscess on her butt. I had just left my daughters GP who referred me to come to this location. The woman at the front seemed very annoyed and rude when we walked in.The way she spoke to me made me feel a little stupid. After filling out the paperwork a nurse brought us back quickly. She was a little brash but overall pleasant enough. When the Dr came in she took a look at my daughter and suggested we go to an ER because she didn’t feel comfortable draining the abscess herself. Long story short I spent over 9 hours in the ER for them to apply numbing cream and a warm compress to help my daughter when I feel like the urgent care should’ve been able to do the same thing. There was one other couple there when we arrived and the same couple was there when we left. It was not busy by any means. I just think she didnt want to deal with it.

Awful place. Very rude staff (medical assistants / front desk mainly), except doctors and a select few. Never coming back. Seems like they don’t like their job and are only there for the check.**NOTE TO Memorial Hermann - If only the phone calls are recorded for quality assurance, then you’d see how discourteous and unprofessional they are.** If they’re that inconsiderate over the phone, imagine how much worst they are in person. And I’ve been there in person a few times as well—first visit (few years ago) was great until they hired these new staff members that I met this year.Staff has no compassion for others. Don’t waste your time. Try Excel Urgent Care instead!

My daughter broke her wrist last Friday (04/21/23), and I called up here from work to verify some information regarding my Memorial Hermann insurance for my wife. I was pleasantly greeted with whom I believe to be a receptionist by the name of Kay. She was well informed; and whats more, courteous unlike so many experiences elsewhere. She went out of her way to direct me to an alternate GoHealth location before racing over there in peak traffic, only to be frustrated and disappointed. She truly made all the difference in seeing that my little 8 year old was not left without or suffering. I wish everyone was as conscientious of the needs of others. She is a treasure to this location and their visitors. I hope to some day return the favor to another part the MHHS family! In gratitude 🙏 -Thank you so much Kay!!!

We used to like this place. But this last time my daughter was sick with like sinus infection, the front desk lady is so rude, and the nurse practitioner was not nice at all, she just say is nothing she can do just to wait because it was viral, I knew my daughter had an infection, but she didnt care she didnt check her well, and no test COVID ore strep, flu was performed nothing, and today we went to a real urgent care she have an infection and they give her antibiotics they treat us so well,and with care the name is AFC urgent care in sugar land they are so nice and we are happy the our daughter got help, save you money and time coming here

I’ve taken my kids in to this location a few times and every time they’re quick and thorough. I took my 3 year old for suspected strep and ear infection. They got us in quick, and sent us with our prescription!!

There is rarely a wait at this urgent care. The team is very caring and knowledgeable.

They charged $180 for just a urine sample and told me to go to my primary care so they can refer me to ultrasounds etc. all because I didn’t have insurance. They told me what I already knew and sent me off. There’s no humanity left. Everything is running for the purpose of money.

I wish there was a 1/2 star option. I think they recently partnered with GoHealth or I dont know, but I agree with everyone else, the standards have gone down. I had an appointment and I had 2 (personal) issues bothering me, they said they can only treat 1, even though both were urgent and cauing discomfort. Personally, to me thats stupid. Moreover, even for that one issue, which was regarding my throat, the doctor just sent a prescription of a medicine without even checking for a sore throat or anything, did not check for any infection, and just said it could be due to allergies. The medicine prescribed wasnt even covered by insurance.Even my mom had an appointment recently, and she had a similar experience. Its awful that a place that is supposed to treat people with care & patience and make them feel comfortable, does the total opposite. You feel rushed, and no relief at all.

All of the staff were very nice. I was in & out in less than 30 minutes.

Came in last week as a walk-in for an illness. The receptionist wasn’t rude to me, but I did observe how short and snippy she was with a patient who was trying to inform her that the link he was being directed to to fill out intake paperwork was broken.Fortunately, I didn’t have to wait very long to be seen. My issue is with the Nurse Practitioner (NP) Leena Thomas. She was pleasant but negligent. I was very visibly ill and uncomfortable, and without even doing any kind of physical exam, she told me “there’s a lot of pollen in the air right now, it’s just allergies. There’s not really anything we can do”. She prescribed a steroid taper. Difficulty breathing was one of my symptoms; I was the one that asked for a new script for my expired inhaler; her response was “oh, do you have asthma?”. When I left the office and arrived at CVS to pick up my medicine, I was made aware that the NP wrote the wrong script and instead ordered the albuterol solution for a nebulizer. I immediately called the office and was directed to use their chat option to get the order fixed. No one called or followed up until today - 5 days later. Also, due to the NP’s negligent 7-minute “exam”, my illness worsened and progressed into a secondary bacterial infection, which has now cost me more time off of work and a headache with HR to submit intermittent FMLA documentation. Thankful I was able to see a family medicine physician (who’d I met for the first time, and who was also confused as to the NP’s though process) and start the correct medications. As a Memorial Hermann employee who does direct patient care, I’m disgusted at how incredibly bad this urgent care was. Hopefully my first and last trip.I don’t need the sympathy comment or “follow up” via email from Memorial Hermann. Just read what’s above and fix the pattern of bad practice here, or find a way to make it easier for people to get same day appointments with their PCPs.

I was seen today at this Urgent Care and everyone was so kind. The front desk checked me in very quickly and my wait time was not long at all. The medical staff and Practitioner took great care of me and I was able to get the prescriptions I needed. Great facility!

Came in Friday for a bad cough and all I was told that everything looks “perfect” “nose - perfect” “lungs - perfect” I was only prescribed something to suppress my cough and I felt bad all weekend and have to go to another doctor today because the person I saw didn’t do their job

Everything was so fast. The lady in front explained everything to me in a way that i could understand since i have no health insurance and the doctor and nurse also were attentive on what i was feeling and how we should proceed in order for me to get better. Will absolutely be back if i have some othe discomfort

I had been having the worst luck with doctors explaining to me what’s happening with my leg post surgery. However Dominic was extremely patient and gave me his undivided attention while explaining and making sure I understood all the information he gave. Amazing experience, I can’t thank him and his staff enough!!

Seen swiftly for a walk in appointment. Reception staff were really pleasant and the medical personnel were lovely. Would highly recommend this clinic.

This was a mess.I scheduled an appointment to get scan or X-ray done. I called in advance to make sure they have some one who can do the work. They told that person would be available Monday Morning. When I went, they told me that person is not available and I have to go all the way to Katy.Also, The phone system to call today only goes back to the main billing center. You cant actually call the location. The main billing center tried to transfer me, and he gave up after 10 minutes saying he was unable to reach any of the locations in the Sugar Land Area.The Doctor who was next to the lady at the front desk was rude.

Laceration of hand. Dr M. Hehman was very informative, pleasant, kind. Staff was pleasant and kind as well. My visit was quick and thorough! They took very good care of me.. Thanks for doing a great job, and keep up the good work! 😊😊

Dr was very thorough in questioning process to determine my issue in extremely swollen jount was a reaction to statin.

I had called ahead of time to confirm that they took care credit since I was making an appointment for my son. I was told as long as it was a credit card I wouldn’t have any problems. I went on to explain it was a type of card that I could use at most medical facilities to pay any medical expenses that I would be responsible for. The lady went to tell me again it shouldn’t be a problem and she would try running the card once I got there. I again asked her if she could confirm with someone in the office that they took care credit before I went in because I didn’t want to be turnt away and that would be my only type of payment for the visit. She went to say there wasn’t anyone else she would have to ask and that it would be ok. After having to leave work early and staying on a waiting list with 15 people ahead of me, my son and I show up only to find out they DON’T take the card. What a waste of time!!!!! It was obvious another person that worked the front desk knew they didn’t take it but I guess the lady I spoke to over the phone never got THAT memo. I asked to get at least a note so I could show my boss I was at least there with my son so I could get my time missed from work excused and received a stupid print out with their letter head, my sons name and a time! An apology would have been nice but instead I heard her talking under her breath as my son and I walked out. At least wait to talk about me after we are out of the front door! Very unprofessional on her part.

The staff was very friendly and informative. We were able to check in online and wait at home until it was time for our appointment. Once we arrived, we were seen right away. The physician was efficient and got us on our way quickly. We will definitely continue to visit for urgent care needs.

If the wait time is an issue for a non-life threating event, try the ER. The wait time was beyond a shadow of a doubt worth it. The entire staff that dealt with me was awesome! If your are lucky enough to get nurse Denise, you will definitely understand awesome staff from the front desk to the attending physician. My go-to place!

Erica Navarro was my practitioner and she was excellent. She was very attentive and showed great concern - I would definitely see her again

I took a family friend to the clinic, which is very close to my home. I was glad to know that she would be seen by a physician since my friend is elderly and has several health issues. There was no wait at that time which was very nice for us. She does not speak much English, so there was a staff member to translate Spanish for her. The entire staff were very competent and personable. I am so happy to know that we have a place to go to, without all of the complications of trying to get appointments and waiting long times to be seen. They accepted her Medicare and Medicaid as well. Since the clinic is affiliated with a hospital, I was confident she would have an easy transition if she needed hospital care.

I took my son in for what we thought would be a routine exam including flu, strep and COVID testing, but were turned away and told to go straight to the ER without a proper explanation. I am appalled the Nurse Practitioner did not have any bedside manner nor did he try to explain the situation to us. We had so many questions and the patient, my 14 year old son was very worried. We didnt know the severity of the situation. Once we arrived at St. Michaels ER, we were told the situation was routine. I truly do not recommend this place, unless youd like to deal with a rude Nurse Practitioner. The staff was extremely empathetic but could not do anything about the situation. I will never return. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I took my toddler here. We were taken in right away. The physicians and staff were very nice and accommodating. They did what they could to make my child feel at ease and answered all my questions. Xrays were taken right on spot and he received stitches. It healed up perfectly. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean as well.

I was seen in a matter of less than 10 min after my vitals the Dr. was in there so fast. He cared, treated me and was concerned about me after the visit. The facility and staff were truly great and sensitive to my needs even so much as to turn out the lights after they left out the room because I had a severe migraine. I truly appreciate the care I received. They even kept me afterward for a while to make sure I was ok.

Walked in with extreme reaction from allergy shot. Was taken in immediately to back room. All staff from front desk to nurses and doctor acted quickly and professionally. Also after home that evening given a follow up visit call. Thank you

The P.A., Dominic, who took care of me, was very helpful and he answered all my questions.The nurse who took my B.P. and history and the receptionist who registered me were also helpful, and kind. Service was quick and efficient. Highly recommended!

This is my first review on any place of business. I absolutely loved my nurse and the front desk was great. Dr. was horrible. Dr. Heard walked in after I had my vitals done and stated “I know what you have it’s just a virus” before even examining me past the nurse recording my heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature. I have never had a doctor not even look at me before diagnosing me. Wouldn’t explain to me what the virus was or why he thought it was that. Said I would test negative for everything. He prescribed a steroid shot, antibiotic, and cough medicine and sent me on my way without any explanation. I asked about getting a COVID test and he told me maybe in a couple days I should try. Also on my way out of the door no longer in the private room he stated “you’re vaccinated right”. I am vaccinated but I would have assumed that would’ve been on of the first questions he asked me before “diagnosing” me. I also believe it was highly unprofessional to ask me that in front of the nursing staff that wasn’t my designated nurse. Like I said, I have never made a review on google but I don’t want anyone else to waste a co-pay on a doctor that won’t even look at you before diagnosing. That seems to be extremely irresponsible to me. I also took my prescriptions to the pharmacy and the pharmacist let me know Dr. Heard did not even include an NPI number on the prescriptions so I wasn’t able to get filled until after he contacted Dr.Heard.

I went to have my wrist looked at and X-rayed since it had been bothering me for weeks. They saw me, took an x-ray and stated that there was no fracture. The physician stated that they would be sending an anti-inflammatory medication to my pharmacy. I did not go immediately, and waited a couple of days. When i went to pick up my prescription, they only had my regular allergy medication waiting and they stated that they had not received any other prescriptions. When I called them today, they stated that they would not be able to refill it since the physician that saw me was not there and since I didnt go retrieve the medication on the same day and didnt call them, that I would have to either go back to be seen and pay my copayment again so that they can give me a new prescription or go to a specialist to be seen. I asked them why did I have to pay my copayment again to get a prescription they never sent to my pharmacy because of their mistake of not sending my prescription in. They responded by stating that basically it was my fault for not catching their mistake and calling them sooner than a week after my visit. I told them that I have been extremely busy and was not able to contact them until today. I cannot complain of the service I received during my office visit, but I think it is unreasonable to have me pay another copayment because of their lack of attention to detail in not sending in my prescription.

If I could give them a no star review I would. I just came yesterday for a COVID-19 test and it was $59.95. I guess the market value is up because here it is one day later and it is $103.00. They said they just changed it yesterday. How convenient. Supply and demand at its finest. Corporations praying on patients. Whats sad is I loved this location but wont be back.

I would give 0 stars but there isn’t an option. I have had my son in here 3 days ago for pink eye. We received medication and after two days on it he is now having an allergic reaction to it. I called to explain what was going on and was told that I had to bring him in to be evaluated. I have three kids under 6 and refuse to pack up all of them for that when a new medication could be called out! I have been here several times and never had this issue! You would think after three days of being there they wouldn’t want to charge you another $100 and something to come right back in and just call something new in. This is ridiculous and I will NEVER be back!!!!!!

Everyone very pleasant, professional. Also the convenience: Sunday morning 8am!Usually I’d say “I’’ll be back!” but in this case, I hope not! But If needed, they’ll be my first choice.

Have been sick for two weeks and already had a virtual visit with Methodist PA…..she said it will resolve, a virus. Well went today and had a great experience, quick, kind and professional!I now have pneumonia! And doc said call if not better. Thanks, Gretchen

I had a great experience with this clinic and its staff both times that I have been there. Dr. Chacko was exceptional in diagnosing my condition that was missed by the GI. The check-in was very easy and staff friendly. I had couple of tests done and results were delivered quickly.

This place is horrible! Staff is horrible! Wait time is horrible! The lady at the front desk is rude she was not wearing a badge so couldnt find out who I was speaking to! I have never been to an unprofessional urgent care, I will definitely not come back here. They should really see how patients are being treated here! Even if you schedule online at 9am and get appointment for 718pm you still have to wait 3 hours to be seen.

I checked in at 10:30am to get COVID test for me and my son. I got a msg from my husband so just looked down at phone and they used it later on.I did paperwork and submit and was told to wait in the car. At 11:15 I went in to ask what’s the wait time myself, then she told me it’s 30-40min. I again called at 11:55pm, they told me they are getting room ready and I can step in. At 12:10 I asked again and they said they will let us in. At 12:25, I was told by nurse that they can’t test me without me seeing their nurse practitioner & there are 3 patients ahead of me, one has a procedure.Staff’s attitude was extremely rude & they took co-pay of $100 as well for which they didn’t give me anything that they have issued refund or not.Pathetic urgent care to be associated with Memorial Herman-I heard good things about that hospital but extremely disappointed at their conduct today.

I am grateful for this place. The staff are nice and efficient, the urgent care is also clean and pristine. Highly Recommend, Dominic, PA is awesome. Very knowledgeable and patience.

Horrible experience- they refused to treat me because my driver’s license was expired. ( I had a family member drive me due to the amount of pain I was in and I forgot the grab my purse with my new license in it.) The front desk clerk was rude and I was informed when I walked in that they had no X-ray ability. The person who completed X-rays went home because ‘they were bored’. After refusing to see me I asked for my paperwork back and she refused to give it to me. If I could give zero stars I would.

First of all, the doctor was kind and knowledgeable. Every other aspect of the clinic leaves lots to be desired. The front desk staff and the nurse were both rude. When a 12 year old boy can tell the atmosphere is negative, it must be. (Not busy at all) I realize it’s Sunday on Memorial Day weekend, but that’s the job you signed up for. Won’t be back!!

Brought my grandkid in because he hurt himself at school. Patty checked me in and was very friendly. Denise brought us back and was super friendly and very good with him. Priscilla NP was very helpful and explain the injury to us. Awesome service. Would definitely bring him back again.

Took my daughter to the urgent care. Had a wonderful experience w/ Dr. Bacani and his staff. He is a very knowledgeable physician, good bedside manners and great with kids . My daughter is feeling much better . I found the whole experience pleasant and efficient . Love the place and the people !

Took my 11 month old and they were the nicest most understanding staff.. The doctor took her time and explained everything even gave me a tissue when I was crying cause my son was diagnosed with pneumonia. She explained everything and made me feel good about my son treatment to get him better..

Very Clean clinic and very easy to make an appointment

Me and my family have been here for multiple urgent care needs and have always been evaluated quickly and more importantly correctly. Go here first if you are in doubt about whether to go to an ER or not, they have very knowledgeable staff. One time after evaluation, they did refer us to the ER which was smooth since it was also memorial hermann.

My husband had to get stitches and has no insurance so we were worried about having to pay an arm and leg for it. We came to the urgent care and everything was so fast and easy! The staff was amazing! The price was unbelievable as well!

I visited this location for the first time today.I had a very sore inner cheek due to viral infection. The staff were very nice when greeting and taking me in, however that’s absolutely not true for Dr. Bacani who treated me.He was so impatient and condescending towards me that was beyond my belief.He could not wait to hear how my problem has progressed. He just asked how long and after seeing inside my mouth for two seconds, he made his diagnosis.I was very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain.I have always selected Memorial Hermann for my health care needs and in most part, they have been very good. I hope this facility first teaches the doctors how to be a caring humans towards patients who go there in an urgent basis.I am so disappointed and the $75 I paid was definitely waste of money and my time.I visited another urgent care afterward, because mr. Bacani did not give me a good feeling about his quick diagnosis without hearing what has happened to me and how it has progressed.My family and I will never visit that location, despite the fact that the other staff are very nice.

Had an appointment set for 11:15am arrived at 10:37am. Completed paperwork in my car and walked back in. These people did not even have my name on the list. I went back in and was told someone will call you, you are bext. Its an hour later and not still has called. I saw people go in and out who came after me.. If you need urgent care do your self a favor and stay away from this location!!!!

ZERO STARS. I has a visit three days ago and was prescribed a certain medication which made me have a reaction. I went to the urgent care today to ask for a secondary medication. THEY SAID I NEEDED TO PAY FOR ANOTHER VISIT. For something you gave to me that made me have a reaction. I will NEVER go to this urgent care again. I have been coming here for YEARS. Ever since covid started they are the worst. Read all the reviews. They are rude and they wont help you and rush your service. Not happy.

Extremely rude staff. Waited 2hrs after checking in online with a sick 2 yr old, just to be seen by a PN. Was skipped in line. Then waited another 30 mins to be given a shot. The staff continued to be rude till the end. The only saving grace was the practitioner nurse Priscilla Corpus

Went here a day after an MVA with no complaints of a headache. Spoke with the front office, nurse and explained I had no headache just shoulder pain from the seatbelt. After waiting 2.5 hours the doctor finally came in and refused to see me. Saying I needed a CT scan and that was protocol. Conveniently I was at Memorial Herman ER the night prior with my daughter after the accident and they said it was not protocol to do the CT scan if no complaints of a headache. It’s been over 24 hours since the accident and my only complaint was shoulder/neck pain from the seatbelt. He refused to see me telling me to go to the ER. I tried to explain it wasn’t my head, he refused to listen. As someone in the medical field I have to wonder why in the world would you refuse treatment for a muscle pain/ bruising over 24 hours old. Why in the world would you send some one with very simple complaints to the ER during a pandemic. The ER is slammed I would never go there for a complaint of simple shoulder pain. Utterly ridiculous. I will never go back or use them again.

My son was feeling sick so I told him to go to this clinic, it was close to his work, they made him wait through his lunch hour and he had to go back after work and wait again (not as long to be fair). They came in took his Vitals, listened to his chest and gave him a Covid test, took my money for the co-pay and said BYE! He was very congested and had a sore throat, not one doctor or Nurse Practitioner or nurse looked in his nose, ears or throat!!!!I should have thought better than to send him here, I have found in past experience that the staff is stiff, if not just down right rude. They are not helpful and you feel like you are putting them out if you ask a question (you can almost hear that silent frustrated breath) I am pushy, so I push through it, but he is not. That is why I should have not sent him. But to not even check his nose, throat or ears when you could hear he was sick!!!! That is neglectful!!!!!!!! As well as irresponsible, I feel they saw a young adult and took advantage of him not knowing how to navigate the system; took the money did a test(without a doctor checking the symptoms) and sent him on his way, STILL SICK!

Went to this office with incredible foot pain, couldn’t put weight on the foot. X rays got done. Doctor said my foot was sprained, and i insisted she take another look because I heard a loud pop upon injuring it. I knew it was broken. She told me there was no way it was broken. Not wanting to be an annoying patient, I worked on it for two weeks, because the doctor said to give it a week to a week and a half for the pain to subside. The pain never went away, but got slightly more manageable. Finally I go see the professionals down at Richmond bone and joint, where the doctor takes one peek at my foot and tells me it’s broken. Upon more x rays, I was informed I would need my bones fused, two screws, and one plate in my foot. So much for not broken, right doc?

Was in and out in 25 minutes for my 8 year old son after he lacerated his finger. Staff very courteous. Saw a doctor right away. He patched up my son’s finger in no time. He sent medication to my local pharmacy in minutes and I was able to pick up the medicine on my way home. I would highly recommend this Urgent Care.

Complete waste of time. The majority of the staff (front and ma) were great and it didn’t take long to be able to see the doctor. The doctor was the problem. She seemed like she had already made up her mind before even talking to me that I was fine and there was no reason for me to be there. She basically said go home and figure it out for yourself, you’re fine. I now have to take off work again and find somewhere else to go because I’m still sick and now worse. Thanks.

This Urgent Care Facility is the best! They are very helpful, they have great costumer service, it is very clean, the doctors always take their time to discuss the situation, they have doctors to see patients and not Nurses who are afraid to prescribe an antibiotic and send you home with no medicine, home remedies and tell you to wait until you are able to see pediatrician or your doctor. I have an almost 3 years old boy and a 1 year old baby girl who get sick often at the day care, their pediatrician is usually very busy with regular appointments and it is very hard to accommodate add ons at a convenient time so I dont have to miss work. I normally go to this Urgent Care when pediatrician can see them right away and they are running fever, they always prescribe them with the right medicine and send them home with a solution. Thank you for all your help.

I had an unfortunate event on the way to work this morning and was involved in a minor 1 car accident. I made it home safely but suffered from minor bruises and whiplash.My daughter the nurse had me visit Telfair Urgent Care where I was treated quickly and professionally by the doctor and her staff. After a thorough physical and a shot of pain killer I felt better, but still have some healing to do.Please take your time to visit here to receive your urgent care services, theyre well prepared professional and ready to welcome you.

Took my son in over the weekend for a possible allergic reaction. They saw him right away after a short explanation. The doctor and staff were very nice, efficient and took care of us during a stressful situation. Would recommend.

Was seen at this urgent care recently and had a very good experience. The intake staff was friendly and the process was efficient. Was seen by Dr. Chacko, she listened, examined me and thoroughly explained everything. Dr. Chacko and team handled the prescriptions and routing to my pharmacy which was very helpful. While no one wants to get sick, I like knowing this urgent care center is close by. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to others and I plan to continue to come here for my familys urgent care needs.

My family and I have used MH Telfair Urgent Care on several occasions. The service is quick & efficient & all of the staff from the receptionist to when you’re being checked out to leave are extremely nice. My daughter experienced a side effect to one of the prescriptions she was given, I called, Dr. Bacani reviewed her chart & changed it right away. I am so happy with the service we have received.

Easy registration, seen quickly, staff was very pleasant, NP interaction and communication was excellent. I have been here twice for services and both times service received was excellent.

Terrible terrible terrible experience!!!!! Dr. Bacani is an extreme jerk. No bedside manners whatsoever. He was in the room with us for about 30 seconds and spent more time criticizing us and schooling us versus learning about the patients condition and what was going on. There was 1 other patient in the entire Urgent care. He was rude, didnt answer any questions, in fact, we are leaving with more questions and on our way to a real urgent care center. If you are looking for a place to get answers, comfort, and proper care for your loved member - DO NOT COME HERE!!!

If I can give zero star I would. Dr. Bacani was the most rude doctor I have ever met. I went in at a slow time and was the only patient time in the office. He didnt have any bedside manners, and as a matter of fact had no patience or intention to listen to my concerns. Even if I pressed for an answer, the answer was not helpful. After a brief examination, he threw a couple of tests to me and left the room. He had time to chit chat with the staff and not time to take care of me. When I needed the nurser to clarify a couple things with him, he went like I dont know what the issue is, and I already explained to her, bla bla outside the examination room in a rude way. He stormed into the examination room with the same I dont know what was the issue with you attitude and as if my question or clarification was some wrongdoing. He shall never to be a doctor to begin with. I looked up the review before I came to this location and was aware of his bad manner but didnt realize he is one of the only two doctors working there. Lucky me, i got to experience his rudeness and unprofessionalism first hand. I will never recommend this location to anyone and will not come back. Stay away if you can!

Worst customer service Ive ever received. Would give 0 stars if allowed. ... Came for an employee flu shot they made me wait in my car for an hour and there was 1 other patient. Finally walked back in to see what the problem was and there was 3 nurses sitting scrolling on their phones.

I love this place. I know that sounds crazy, but when I or my husband have been ill, we go here and they get you in quickly, treat you with with friendliness and smiles, and get you out where you dont feel rushed or that they didnt take time with you. Im very grateful for this Urgent Care, if youre sick (not ER sick, but need an office visit) this is the place to go!!!

I would like to highly recommend Memorial Hermann Urgent Care, Telfair. I was seen for a severe ear infection. I received such great care from Dr. Nguyen and the staff - Cylina, and Patti. If I ever need future treatment - this will be my go to place. Highly Recommended!!!!

We were a family of 5 all going in to get tested. They were super accommodating and efficient. Very gentle, kind and very patient with our family. I definitely will recommend and return if ever needed.

Worst customer service at this urgent care facility. People at front desk have stone faces, no smile, no friendliness, rude. One lady was watching YouTube on her cellphone instead of helping the customer, just sitting there like so lazy .If you call they hung-up on you. Dont receive proper service to send prescription to pharmacy one-time. It Theytook more arethan 13 hours for CVS to receive the prescription and when I told the lady on the phone she said something wrong with CVS machine. Theyre quick to take your money. Theyre bunch of rude people sitting at the front desk. Need to change these front desk people or train them how to be friendly and dont watch YouTube when customers are waiting.

I scheduled my appointment online for a Covid test. I did not wait very long. The staff at check in was great and the person doing the Covid test explained what she was doing. She was quick and gentle. The test was not bad. I would highly recommend Memorial Hermann Telfair.

No one ever answers and never calls back!!! Ive tried for two days to get an answer and still nothing! Also my son has been there several times before and they have him the serious run around about everything. Any time Ive brought him its smooth sailing but the receptionist wouldnt even take two seconds to look up his insurance. This place has gone downhill!

Both of my sons have been seen at this Urgent Care, and I cant say enough good things about them. Dr. Chacko and Dr. Bacani are amazing and experienced doctors. Both of them take the time to listen to what is going on, to explain to the patient what he/she needs to do, take the time to investigate and diagnose their patients and find the best way to treat them. I wish I could have these doctors as primary doctors. Both of my sons have been treated for pneumonia after their respective doctors failed to diagnose what was the reason why they were so sick! Also, the nurses and receptionist are very caring and kind.

Wasnt a long wait after i filled out paperwork within 30 seconds the nurse comes out. I was there for a cold/flu. The nurse was funny. My doctor came and didnt rush through the process and answered my questions. She gave me a good amount of medications for my sickness... Better than a rediclinic any day! Last time i went to the HEB redi clinic and they told me to get some over the counter medications. A total waste. Lol

I agree with everyone else…. I wish there was a no star choice. My wife went there for a flu test. Everyone else in my family HAS the flu, mind you. They tested her for COVID. My wife told them, she just had COVID LESS THAN A MONTH AGO!! Then the nurse acted like she didn’t want to be there. THEN, the nurse came out and said she was negative for strep throat!!!!!! They didn’t even test her for strep!!!!!! If anyone with any clout or authority can read this…. Please close this place down! This was all after she waited in the parking lot for 2.5 hrs with a 101 fever. DONT GO HERE!!!!

They got me in and out! Lachelle, the medical assistant was wonderful and so was the nurse practitioner who saw me.

Went to Memorial Hermann Urgent Care to obtain a COVID test Rita assisted me with my test. As a matter of fact I had to take 2 one in each nose and Rita did it so quick and painless unlike my very first experience. I highly recommend this office and if youre getting a covid test ask for Rita shes super awesome. You wont be disappointed.

I came here because it was Memorial Hermann. But did not receive the care that is typical of the company. I went in and the front desk ladies were obnoxious. She made me loudly explain what I was there for in tiny waiting room multiple times and sent me to fill out paper work there were only 3 chairs which i understand due to COVID but people were going in and out of them and absolutely no one was cleaning them inbetween. My last straw is when she and the other lady loudly started talking about patients information. HIPAA went out the door here. As I was filling out my paperwork a patient had to loudly explain to her that he was there to get tested for COVID. She claims she couldnt hear cause of the mask but working in the medical field myself for over 8 years this is just negligence. I handed back my paper work and said I needed to leave I had to actually ask her for my ID and insurance back so I could leave. This place is humiliating from when you walk in Never bring anyone here. Ended up in tears leaving because of how upset I was.

The pharmacy has been trying to get the clinic to send an alternative inhaler prescription but the clinic has not sent it in. I even called, told them CVS was waiting on them, and asked them to send info to CVS. Its been 3 weeks. This is ridiculous!!!

Husband brought our daughter here and asked for an X-ray because her doctor said we should get one. Doctor downplayed her injury, told my husband she doesn’t need an X-ray, then when my husband advocated for our child, the staff told him he was welcomed to go somewhere else. Y’all “medical professionals” disgust me.

I say fortunately because I had 2 other tests here a few months ago and like those, todays test was as comfortable as any COVID test could possibly be! Yes. Im highly qualified to evaluate the comfort/discomfort of COVID tests because todays was the 18th COVID test Ive had.I want to thank and recognize Patty who greeted me and and answered my questions, Haider who performed my test, and Balie who provided additional information to me. If I wanted to own an urgent care center, I would do everything possible to recruit these three pros to operate it.Based on my experience, I highly recommend Memorial Hermann Urgent Care at Telfair. The doctor filling in on 2/9 was dry with her bedside manner. I ended up going to my doctor 3 days later as she did very little with my symptoms. I had cough and not able to sleep. She have nothing. Told me allergies. Im on 3 meds days later and bedrest .

At my previous visits front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Medical assistant was gentle with the testing I needed and dr showed great concern. Will definitely recommend and return for future needs.

This place was a complete rip off I went for a covid test. They said they cannot give a covid test without a $175 evaluation.Before the doctor sees me they ordered the test. Lastly, the doctor see me for 5min and check my heart rate.I tried to complain about lack of care and they forwarded me to this rude lady named Amber, who failed to give me a corporate email to contact.Zero stars

Very easy to actually schedule an appointment time. Staff is very friendly and is concerned about why you are there. They listen. I did not feel like they were just trying to get my out quickly.

Very poor service, waiting is too long for no reasons more than an hour, after seeing doctor, unfortunately the doctor was so lazy for doing a prescription, it takes more than 30 minutes, regardless my serval calls and requests for them to expedite the prescription order I been waiting at the pharmacy, this is disrespect and I am totally ungrateful for what happened with me today.

This place literally wasted 4hrs of our time they run your insurance and give you incorrect information in regards to their procedures, at the end nothing was done. I do not recommend this place at all it is not an urgent clinic if you gotta wait 4hrs to be seen. I recommend going to the hospital instead they may just be faster!

I went there last Friday 2/18 to get a return to work note because I took off from work for about 2 weeks. I was told they don’t do that. It had to be approved by my primary doctor something like that. Then I was offered COVID testing for $100.00 which I don’t need. And this is supposed to be free. Hopefully I won’t need to come back in this facility again

On April 24th the front desk lady had closed the urgent care door at 8:50 PM. I called from the outside of the urgent care at 8:50 PM. I wanted to get my son checked. The lady did not let us in. I told her and showed her the time from outside. She was a jerk. Her response was that they have too many patients. Very disappointed after driving to the urgent care and reaching there before the closing time still not getting the service.

Very poor service. It was super apparent that it was close to closing time and they just wanted to go home. Especially impressed at all by the Nurse Practitioner. Regularly go to a different Memorial Hermann group and love it. This was not the same experience. Will not be returning.

Everytime I go here for myself or my college studen . I am always pleased. Staff are awesome! Service is great! Drs and PA are thorough! Thanks for keeping my family healthy.

This is the only urgent care I go to and recommend. I’m from California and finding a doctor is quite difficult. I have seen both Dr. Bacani and Dr. Chacko and all of my experiences were great. They really listen to what is bothering you and your concerns are and they will always give you a detailed explanation.

PA Mr. Nguyen did absolutely fabulous job. Prescribed me all the necessary meds for me to get better and thoroughly explained my condition. Well done

This was far more one of the easiest check in process. The staff were very helpful in assisting with completing it on the table and phone.

The receptionist was not friendly at all but the nurse and the Dr. were over the top nice and very helpful. Will definitely be back. Even though uta quite a drive.

Very rude people work there. Waiting time is terrible. I spend almost 2,5 hours there for a visit. No sorry no apologies nothing nice from all of them. I am surprised how all of them there act same way. Something wrong with they management and customer service.

I can’t leave 0 stars this place was terrible we waited 3.5 hours and still didn’t get seen. The people at the front desk were rude waited for 10 min before even being able to talk to anyone. After 3.5 hours I went back in to get my ID to go somewhere else I was laughed at I couldn’t get over how rude these people are. I highly recommend going somewhere else. This place is highly mismanaged!

I went Sunday night and Dr Bacani give the best service that I have received in any emergency Dept that I been. He was very professional, kind, Knowledgeable . I’m definitely going to go back to see him anytime that me and my family have any medical problem. Thank you Dr Bacani and God bless you.

One week ago, we were successfully treated for a painful skin condition by Dr. Anju Chacko. Wed previously seen our PCP for this condition. We followed his advice; which was essentially to wait it out. The condition only worsened. We did not want to see him again, so we came to MHUC.The wait was about 2 hours: no surprise, since its first come, first served. Still, it was worth it. Dr. Chacko is current in her trade, inspired confidence, and cured the problem.

The front desk personnel was very kind patient and pleasant. The technician Anna followed the protocol as required thoroughin the process which was short and not invasive as imagined.

I took my son in for an ear infection. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The doctor even let me see what his ear looked like.

The doctor examined me well, she took time to ask a lot of questions before deciding what to do and also took time to give me a lot of guidance for how to prevent illness in the future. Felt very cared for.

Very helpful and quick, Jay was very patient and kind to my 4 yr old son. He helped him during his chest x ray and even showed him his x ray. Highly recommend.

This place is horrible had an appointment at 1pm did not get seen till 3:30 staff is unprofessional and the dr overbook to get as much money possible with no consideration for pt. Who have to wait hrs pass appointments time

Great place to take the family when they are sick. Easy to make an appointment online and they were on time. Got us in and out with a quick diagnosis and what medicine to take.

USELESS! Complete waste of money, I brought them evidence of the issue I was having and they wouldn’t help me at ALL. Go to a real doctor, these people are not capable of working in the medical field.

Rude front desk staff.Follow up, I was called this morning and the lady I talked to explained the situation and apologized for the behavior of the front desk person last night. I do appreciate the follow up.

Love the doctors and staff at this location. Dr. Bacani and all the medical staff are courteous and take the time to find out what is wrong. I always do the online check in and hardly ever have to wait.

Husband sliced his hand open so we stopped in for them to stitch it up. While in the waiting room, the lady at the front desk said the doctor told her to tell us to go to the emergency room because they don’t have an x-ray machine. We don’t need an x-ray - we need a stitch! He wouldn’t even look at it. Wow!

There is nothing urgent about this place. Even with a scheduled appointment, they had us wait for over an hour. I would not recommend going here even if your doctor recommended it.

The lady at the front desk is terribly rude. So unfortunate that someone like that is the face of a business. I can’t say she specifically did anything to me but her demeanor is unpleasant and rude. I used to come there a lot but, I’ll try to find another place even if it’s a little far to drive.

The receptionist was very helpful, the nurse was very courteous and listened to my needs and the doctor was very knowledgeable.
