Boston IVF

We ended up at Boston IVF after secondary infertility. We started with Dr. Klein when he first joined the practice. He, Molly, and my main nurse, Erin were all fantastic. They made the process easy to understand and thankfully very successful in our case. They are always easy to get a hold of and it is easy to ask any questions. Id recommend them to anyone who unfortunately may need them. The warmth and knowledge this office exudes was very evident and we are so grateful we ended up with them!

Dr. Klein is absolutely incredible. He is a kind, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. I sincerely appreciate him. The front desk, phlebotomists, ultrasound techs, and nurses were an absolute joy to work with. They are all friendly and fantastic at their jobs. You arent just a number. One of my favorite things is that they use the phone instead of an online portal for treatment correspondence. I was never left to feel confused. I highly recommend this office.

I came to Syracuse Boston IVF for a third opinion after back to back second trimester losses. After my visit with Mollie I felt my entire mood shift. I have hope and, more importantly, feel heard and validated. I feel that all appropriate testing is being done. The very first test performed (which my MFM doctor said wasn’t necessary) uncovered a problem and I already have surgery scheduled. I’m beyond grateful. Also, all of the office staff has been so kind and the office is beautiful and calming.

The infertility journey can be scary and frustrating. Boston IVF has a team built to make this experience as clear as possible with upfront expectations. I started my journey to build my family at another clinic and I’m so happy I made the switch. I truly feel like Dr. Klein and his team care about me and want to help me start a family just as much I want to. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Not only did I almost die because the doctor chose a protocol when there was every warning sign it would be bad for me, the clinic refused to sign paperwork for my insurance. Insurance that would cover the testing that was recommended by the doctor. Ive tried several times to sort this out, but keep getting stonewalled.

The best doctors office I have ever been to. Everything from ease of scheduling and the friendliness of the front desk, to the nursing staff and providers; was truly such a wonderful experience. We came in nervous and uneasy, but everyone we interacted with was warm & calming the nerves quickly went away. They do a great job explaining everything and walking you through the different treatments and procedures. Impressed with how quickly we were able to get an appoontment and how knowledgeable the staff is.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Every single step has been seamless. Every employee is an absolute joy. This process is hard on everyone that goes through it but Boston IVF Syracuse has made it easier with kindness, compassion, and experience.

The staff were all knowledgeable and so kind. Anna in the front end reception was very approachable and respectful, she remembers all patients and their situations which makes a visit at Boston IVF pleasant.

Boston IVF made the whole IVF experience as stress free as possible and the staff was amazing! I wasnt just another patient, they knew my name and remembered our conversations from the time before. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of in a very emotional time. Thanks to them I have a beautiful little girl. The receptionist Anna is truly amazing.

I recently had my first first appointment with Dr. Klein and he is amazing. Ive never had a more kind or caring doctor. Ive had many doctors and many negative experiences and I dont even know how to explain Dr. Klein was way above a good doctor. He is very patient and takes the time to really listen and explain things well. A few weeks after my first appointment with Dr. Klein I went into the office for blood work and an ultrasound and all of the staff in the office are extremely nice. The staff make you feel very comfortable and are patient with you because some of the tests are not easy for people with certain medical conditions. Its really an amazing environment.

After not feeling heard and supported at two other IVF clinics, Boston IVF - Syracuse Center really made this entire experience a dream. I feel heard, I feel seen, I feel supported and feel like these people will go to the end of the earth to ensure you become a mother. That is the most important thing to me. Everything has been so fast paced and exceeded every expectation I had (which was low based on previous clinics). The receptionist, Anna, knows the women that walk in and out that door and EVERYONE is treated like family. What a blessing to the infertility world!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the ENTIRE staff at Boston IVF! From Anna at the front desk, to every phlebotomist, to every nurse (shout out to Gretchen and Erin), to Abby in the financial office, and especially to PA Molly and Dr. Vaughan. Every staff member has been kind, warm, funny and knowledgeable. Reading the negative reviews that have been posted upset me because, in a field where heartbreak and frustration are high, I just can’t imagine having a better team to work with. They respond to all of my emails and phone calls incredibly quickly. They answer all of my questions with easy to understand responses. Abby has gone above and beyond working with my insurance company and always communicates openly with me about what needs to be done or what has taken place financially. They have walked me through every procedure with patience and kindness. Dr. Vaughan has personally taken the time to call me, on several occasions, to explain outcomes, challenges and realities, and his PA Molly is absolutely outstanding. I don’t feel like “just a number” but, a valued patient. I highly recommend Boston IVF and I commend all of their hard work!

During the toughest time of my life I had the most pleasant experience at Boston IVF. All the nurses, staff, and Dr Vaughn we’re amazing. Anna that works the front desk is the first person I saw most mornings and she often made my day that much better- she’s a breathe of fresh air.THANK YOU ALL!

My husband and I absolutely loved Boston IVF the Syracuse Center. The staff is friendly and welcoming and Dr. Arroyo is so kind and considerate, he truly took time to understand our concerns and our needs. I can not say enough good things about Boston IVF. My experience was wonderful from start to finish. Everyone was so kind to me at every appointment and very helpful with any questions that I had. Im very happy to say that I left Boston IVF as a success and am currently pregnant and so very happy. I would recommend Boston IVF to anyone.

We tried another center locally and felt like a number for such a delicate situation. I can’t recommend Boston IVF enough. The staff knows all the patients by name and you feel like a part of a family. All the staff is well educated and really care. We just had our twins after 5 IUI and we owe the success to Dr Bove and her team. Thank you for all your hardwork and efforts into making us parents.

I have nothing but excellent words for all the care we have received here. Starting at the front Desk with Anna who’s amazing, kind, friendly and super helpful. Gretchen is a rockstar. Erin & Molly were always helpful and prompt in getting back to us whenever we needed anything. I’d recommend this place 10000x over. I never got to meet Dr Erica Bove in person but we are forever grateful to her and the excellent care we have received.

Not only are the offices clean and beautiful, but the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Every time I call, I am able to speak to someone to address my concerns. If I need to leave a message, my call is returned the same day. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable and have made this process much more comfortable than I could have ever imagined. Procedures, test results, and instructions are explained perfectly and my husband and I have been made to feel like we are a part of a team at Boston IVF. Every staff member Ive met has been absolutely wonderful. Anna at the front desk knows the name of pretty much every client that walks in the door. Scheduling is fast and they are quick to respond to phone calls with concerns. Id highly recommend to anyone!

We met with Dr Klein. He is amazing at explaining and simplifying the whole process. He was patient, kind, compassionate and calm. He had humility despite objectiveness which is what made us feel at ease.

Boston IVF Syracuse office was great! There were times the nurses could have explained things in greater detail but it was my first time and it’s a very confusing process. As others said, their was a lot of wait time in between and some silence as well however, whenever I would call in they would do their best to give me a timeline. The time from start to the actual transfer was very long due to tests which is understandable. Although there was no dead set “reason” for me not able to get pregnant, Dr.Bove listened to me and respected my decision for IVF first instead of trying IUI or other methods. I have a now 7 month old miracle baby because of this staff and I am so so thankful! I will be returning to this office when we feel it’s the right time to add to our family again and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you all for your time and dedication to helping people grow their families .

My wife and I would highly recommend Boston IVF to anyone seeking to start or add to their family. Dr. Erica Bove (Mahaney) and the entire team at the Syracuse office were amazingly supportive, respectful, knowledgable, and kind from the moment we walked in until the moment we graduated. Dr. Bove took the time to understand exactly what factors were at play, and created a treatment plan specifically tailored to exactly what we needed. In addition to her extensive knowledge and expertise, Dr. Bove was incredibly compassionate, always took as much time as needed to answer any and all questions in a clear and concise manner, and spoke to us like equals- there was never any dumbing down of information or brushed off condescending answers. The rest of the staff at Boston IVF in Syracuse were phenomenal as well. Anna at the front desk was always incredibly kind and helpful, Abby in finance was great to work with and very thorough, and our nursing team (Jill and Sarah) were wonderfully supportive, easy to access, always willing to answer questions, phone calls, and emails. Molly, our PA was amazingly helpful in answering questions and providing follow-up information, and our techs, Maureen and Gretchen were an absolute pleasure to work with- especially given how much quality time we spent together.Even in the midst of the pandemic, Boston IVF made sure to update us every step of the way, kept an open line of communication, and provided any support or answers we needed. Fertility treatment in any capacity can be daunting and stressful, but Boston IVF provided a supportive, personalized approach that truly made us feel like we had an entire team working tirelessly to ensure our goal of starting our family. We cant thank them enough.

I thank Boston IVF for wear I am right now 21 weeks pregnant never thought I would be here. I loved everyone i worked with for the 3 years from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors. This time can be a very stressful time, Im blessed the nurses handled all my emotions even my frustration.2 things I got frustrated about was medication and appointment scheduling.Your medication is a 3rd patty service and comes In the mail. What I wish happened differently Especially my first time around is have a medication schedule telling you how long the medication last and at what point do you order new. Tips make sure you call the pharmacy and have all prior authorization put threw. Don’t wait for them to call you. Order extra or early because it comes In the mail it’s hard to predict shipping. Texas closes down shipping in snow storms or some times the get on back order and shipment are late. It is very stressful not having your medication! Alway do rush delivery.The appointment scheduling upset me because they try to get ahead of themselves. Calling you to schedule your 1st pregnancy test before you even implant. I’m my case I got faults hope cause my transfer got canceled a couple times. I felt like The communication was not there between the nurses because my lining was not were it needed to be and when I asked the nurses scheduling the appointment for the pregnancy test “so I’m definitely impacting? “ and she said yes to latter get a call to cancel transfer date. That was a punch in the stomach.However through all the ups and downs I’m looking forward to starting my family and still have some embryos frozen, I will be back for baby 2. 🥰

After being treated like just another number at a prominent fertility center; we decided to give Boston a try. From the moment we made our appointment, we knew we were in good hands. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. We were told the pricing, insurance coverage, and the process during our first visit. While it is unfortunate that the first fertility center treated us so poorly, it was a blessing in disguise! I would highly recommend the Boston IVF Syracuse team!

Everyone from the receptionist to finance at Boston IVF -Syracuse were so attentive. Know you by name, and always tried to hear where you were coming from with any concerns you may have had. We saw Dr. Bove and would recommend her to everyone.

My partner and I transferred to Boston IVF from another local clinic. After working with the BIVF team consistently for fourteen months, I feel extremely confident recommending this practice to anyone facing infertility. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Erica Bove (Mahany) and the rest of the team at the Syracuse office. Dr. Bove has an incredible bedside manner and always took the time to explain our treatment and answer our questions. Infertility can be scary and overwhelming, especially during a pandemic, but we always felt safe and trusted the staff at BIVF. The Syracuse office is quite small, which made for a personalized experience. Everyone knows your name and the staff are easy to contact should you have any questions or concerns, which God knows I did. Appointments were almost always timely, which is so important with the volume of appointments you may need for treatment.My one critique is that you do not get much face time with the clinicians at this practice unless you are there for a procedure. For most appointments, you will see a sonographer and phlebotomist and then a nurse will follow-up with you by phone. If you have questions that require input from a doctor, those are almost exclusively communicated through their nurse. I think this comes with the territory with being a small practice, but it could be frustrating at times. I will note that there were occasions I was at the practice for monitoring and really wanted to speak with a nurse about something, and they did find someone to come talk to me.Again, I cannot recommend this practice enough. I will absolutely be recommending BIVF Syracuse to my friends and family who are struggling to conceive.

I switched to Boston IVF after two years somewhere else. I have been very pleased with how organized and attentive the staff are. You are made to understand every aspect of your treatments. I feel confident that I am getting the most proven meds and techniques and nothing experimental or unnecessary. Dr. Arroyo is patient and answers all questions with the right level of detail. The support team are easy to reach and kind.Update: I am now 37 weeks pregnant! Our first embryo transfer was a success. I got pregnant using 1/4 of the drugs I was on previously. Our wonderful BIVF nurse checks on us even though we “graduated” at 10 weeks. We could not be happier with this clinic!

My wife and I went here for almost 6 months and were basically given the run around. After the First 2 IUI’s we wanted to do IVF, but they would not let us and constantly made excuses. Then we received a bill in the mail informing us that they had not sent any of our info over to insurance, and we had to deal with our insurance company giving us a hard time because of that. The only redeeming factor of this place were the nurses. They were always helpful and friendly. But it seemed that the people who run the place just want you to come in and constantly do things that make them the most money.

I have a concern about how the clinic will bill me and my health insurance. I and my partner do not feel the staff is knowledgeable about the coverage and benefit of my insurance plan.Also, many email and onsite communications indicate that I do not have to pay a copay for the visits Boston IVF--Syracuse—as well as my plan indicated, but in the documents sending to me via the patient portal indicated $25 copay. This experience about unclear bill also matches many comments online about Boston IVF-Syracuse, which raise my concern about my future treatment in the clinic.

The most incredible, kind, knowledgeable, empathetic group of people. I could not appreciate them more. If I ever needed help again, I would one million percent go to them. They made the process stress free, streamlined and I felt so informed every step of the way.

I have only undergone one cycle of treatment at this time but I can not say enough about Dr. Bove and all of the staff at the Syracuse center! They have been wonderful from setting up my initial consultation until now! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable! My husband even feels comfortable when he has to go in! I have the upmost confidence in their team!

Dr Klein was very personable and easy to get along with. I met with him for a second opinion and was blown away by our interaction. He had addressed my wuestions and concerns before I even asked. He had a plan of attack and gave us hope again.

Ive had nothing but problems with this office. After almost 9 months were still not starting treatments because of more testing that needs to be done. I didnt hear for them for 4 months and in those 4 months I called numerous times until I finally recieved answers(well I suppose we can call them answers). I am highly considering going to a different office as Im just frustrated with the process at this point. The staff has always been nice and tries to help when they can but Im still left wondering what the next step is.

Just to be fair, I would’ve loved to give 5 stars to the doctor ,the front receptionist, and the other wonderful staff members. However, the reason I gave them 2 stars is because one of the nurses at the facility was extremely RUDE and very unprofessional. She rolled her eyes behind my back when I was discussing with the doctor and my husband noticed it as well as some of the other faces she made after that. When we called in to ask some questions, not once did we get a clear answer nor any useful advice. We literally found more information on Google. This is the reason why we stopped calling. The main thing that threw us off was that the question she asked me was to the point where we delayed things because of how much the treatment would cost us, which has never been the case. We also felt that money seemed to be the only motivation for her; another review on here seemed to notice the same. This nurse is really hurting your business. We are now looking for a new facility that is more caring towards their patients rather than one that is so careless and inconsiderate. We struggle enough and she is not helping our situation and your facility.

Everyone was lovely, responded promptly and I had success on my first cycle! A couple cycle coordinators left the ordering of medication a bit late for my liking, but they are no longer at the firm, and it all worked out in any case. Erica Bove is very knowledgeable and adjusted medication expertly.

We cant say enough great things about Boston IVF the Syracuse Center. The staff is truly amazing. The process is by far easy but they are with you every step of the way. We cant thank them enough!

Everyone is so amazing at Boston IVF. I couldnt say nicer things about them. They went above and beyond to help me get pregnant. Dr. Arroyo and his nurse is so thoughtful and caring. I am so thankful for them.

They should put negative STARS. I was so excited to go to my initial consultation in which at first they told me it was free it was just the consultation. the day of the appointment I asked again and they told me that the location had a new Admin and that I need to get with her at the end of the consultation, which I asked to speak with her because I had travel for this appointment and on top of this they didnt want to disclose the price I was going to pay. after the consultation due to the fact that they could give me and overall price for the IVF. I told them I wasnt interested in proceeding with the IVF with them. Before I walked out I asked them if I needed to pay anything and they told me that I didnt owed nothing. later they billed my insurance for $305 for the initial consultation in which they didnt provide no information because all they said it was that they needed to know how I was going to pay, but they didnt want to give me an overall amount for the procedure. so how am I going to pay for something I dint know the cost. later I called and I asked for the cost of initial consultation which they told me is $250. 00 but they billed more to my insurance and I just found that I have a deductible for the same price they charge in cash. I dont recommend them at all they need to be more professional and be honest.

My wife and I had an absolutely horrible experience at Boston. Everything was disorganized, they messed up our patient portal and didnt have any of the paperwork that I had uploaded. We had an awful consultation with the doctor there, who told me that I would be a high-risk pregnancy because I have arthritis, though Ive spoken to many specialists in the past about it, and have NEVER heard of any concern. He kept double checking information with a girl who was shadowing him to make sure he was saying the right things. I tested him a couple of times with information about my medication and pregnancy, that I already knew, and he gave severely wrong information and just agreed frantically with whatever I said, even thought it was wrong. He kept telling us over and over that he thought wed be fine to get pregnant, which is extremely disheartening in a time when you need positivity. After leaving, they also messed up our insurance and tried to bill us twice, in full for the appointment without running our insurance. We left, and at our current fertility center, have heard similar stories.

All the negative comments people have written happened to us. this is the worst experience we have ever had with a medical provider. incompetent doctor, wrong prescriptions, and test after test after test with no issues found. rude staff except for the receptionist who is extremely kind. all they care about is money with zero results. Can never get a live person on the phone. when they decide to call you back they are not helpful and rude.

I wrote a review previously, but I guess it was removed. I am very upset regarding my experience here. From start to finish this was an emotional visit already since I have lost 2 children previously and the fact that money seems to play the only role here I have learned a lot.

Dr. Klein was very informative and listened to me. He also had an immediate first step right on the zoom call.

Theyre very thorough on answering questions and concerns, walking you through the process and expectations

Every patient is precious. Remember this. They dont owe anything.
