Amazing staff, Mayda at the front desk was very kind and helped me through the sign up process and my nurse Elanys was amazing and made the experience so much less dreary for me. I really appreciate the effort here.

They are very nice and do a good job but you WILL be forced to wait here. If you set an appointment for 9am, you will not he called back until 9:30 at the earliest. Doesnt matter if youre the first appointment of the day, the last, or somewhere in between. Ive been coming here for a few years and I can count on one hand the times my appointment time was actually honored. Just be ready to waste some time in the waiting room

I had such a good experience here today! Shawnte and Dawn were so nice and attentive. They really made sure you feel welcome and if you have to wait for a while in your room, the nurse will check in on you often where other places will just leave you in there wondering! These ladies are for the girls 100% and that is such a good feeling because you feel so much more comfortable! Hehe and my room was pink, so cute

Man I love everything about this place especially Makayla…. She ALWAYS go the extra mile for me when I come inside the office. And plus I love Dr. White!!! She makes everything so easy for us. But I will drive from wherever just to come to this place.

We had a serious situation today and lots of questions about how to proceed to make sure my daughter’s recent health problem was addressed. Makayla the receptionist answered all of our concerns and put us in the right direction to get her problem solved. We also got educated on how to go about applying for Medicaid. The busy lobby was also not a problem for the front desk and every patient seemed to be handled with care. As a medical receptionist myself I was impressed with their care for their patients. We were wished good luck upon leaving and invited to come back for anything we needed. Great service and experience overall !!

Vedia and Dawn were so caring, compassionate and attentive during my appointment. I suffer with anxiety and Vedia was very kind and helped me to remain calm during my services. Dawn was also very kind and talked me through everything with patience and compassion. 20/10 recommend these wonderful ladies.

I had a TERRIBLE experience trying to get birth control at both Planned Parenthoods in the Tampa area. I couldn’t book appointments online, just by calling. However, either no one answers the phone, or they put you on hold forever.After trying SO many times to get through, I was told they couldn’t mail my medication, but that I could pick it up at the Tampa office for free. I took off of work and drove almost an hour, only to be told I had to pay for it. They later agreed to let me pick it up at the North Tampa office, which was closer. Again, I took off of work and drove there, but they said all of the medication in my brand was expired. So, I was off of birth control for a month until moving back to Washington, where the process is extremely easy.They are unprofessional, inaccurate, and have no problem completely wasting your time.

I was nervous going into planned parenthood for an sti test but the team here made me feel comfortable and were extremely professional. Their knowledge and disposition gave me confidence in their ability. Dawn, Vedia and Elanys will always be people that I hold in high regard and give my respect to. Thank you so much for making a difficult experience relaxing and Informative. Thank you for caring about your patients.

In general I find the doctors kind and helpful. But a helpful procedure they just did a few months ago they stopped doing with no explanation. My biggest pet peeve with this place is every time you walk up to the front desk they ask you why youre there in front of dozens of people. Im usually just there for an annual but many people are there for sensitive issues and they have no business asking questions like that in front of a bunch of strangers. I was using them as my primary gyno but Ill be going elsewhere from now on. What a shame they arent more respectful. They also scheduled me for an annual recently and when I got there (after an hour drive) they told me I wasnt due for one yet. Very unorganized and disrespectful.

This was a bad first experience! I came in to do a test to see if the antibiotics I took, worked and over the phone the day before I confirmed the appointment and told them that I finished the antibiotics 2 weeks ago. I got to my appointment early and didnt get my E-files until 9:35. I got to the appointment at 9:07. Im not sure why they would wait 30 minutes for me to sign some electronics paperwork. After I finished my e-files at around 9:50am, I got called back at 10:12am just for the nurse to tell me that I cant retest because its too soon. I asked them why they didn’t tell me over the phone the day prior when we confirmed the appointment?? And they said that the call center is in another state. I was confused. I’m not coming back here again.

The best experience I’ve had going to the doctor. Very patient centered, the staff caring and informative and the PRN Miss Dawn was amazing. Will be going back again for sure.

I loved every minute i was here, all of the staff are amazing and so nice, and they made sure that i felt welcomed and safe. I got the nexplanon implant and i was in and out of there in roughly 45 minutes, including the wait time.

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for this facility. I was so uncomfortable from what I thought could be yeast or BV and was on a time crunch for results, as I had an upcoming embryo transfer the following week. This was the ONLY facility I could find (not my ob, not the ER, not the fertility clinic) that not only accepted me as a walk in, but also provided same day results. The provider Dawn White along with the rest of the staff provided me with the best care. Honestly, I would trust them over my OB at this point. I came here to get my IUD removed and I had a great experience. The DR helper was right next to me the entire time making me feel comfortable and making sure I was okay. The DR was very nice and well spoken. The front desk also made me feel very comfortable the minute I walked in. Love this place. Thank you for an amazing staff.

I could not get an appointment with my regular doctor so I called Planned Parenthood in Tampa. I was able to get my appointment for my IUD removal in 2 weeks. Staff was amazing in communicating with myself about my insurance and all other questions. I arrive at my appointment soo nervous. Front desk staff was very nice. Then I got taken back to my room and the 2 medical assistants were absolutely amazing. Comforting me and talking to me. I met the doctor and she was phenomenal. My IUD removal was so quick and pain free. Everything from start to finish was the best experience I have ever recieved from a doctors office. I will forever come back here and recommend this clinic with these wonderful ladys working here. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable!!

2 days ago, I just came from this Planned parenting to get an IUD and it was an absolutely great experience. 😀I was nervous and they told me, that was very common, but the nurses, the doctor, everybody was incredibly nice.

Long wait times and I’ve seen people go up to ask personal questions then the receptionist is on her phone and then proceeds to act as if she is being bothered by the patient asking the question. To top it off when the person walks away the front desk staff talks to each other about what was asked and then they laugh about it. Very unprofessional behavior.

I like all the employees they are very nice specially Sarelle she call the customer if there is no patient waiting so they can go early and I like it.. I have like 5 years coming to the same office.Doctor Don white is a beautiful professional doctor I love her GOD bless her and her assistant Rose she is super super nice she explains everything give details of everything.I want thank you for you all work

I wanted to wait longer to give a review on Planned Parenthood, but I decided to do so now because of how much better my healthcare got after switching to Planned Parenthood for Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy.At my old clinic, I would have to wait anywhere from 2-4 months for an appointment. It was mentally exhausting, because I felt I welcomed and no progress was being done. I decided to switch to Planned Parenthood because it was recommended to me by a good friend. As I’ve found out, this clinic did not disappoint.1) The people were very nice. Unlike previous experiences I had with my healthcare, everyone at the clinic was very welcoming. You can tell the people here really do care about their patients. Additionally, my provider has been very good at giving reminders and thoroughly explaining things.2) Planned Parenthood feels very nice and structured. They tell you what they’re going to do and follow through, and make sure to consider what the patient wants as well.3) They provide so many resources. There’s lots of information and very thorough/specific details on their website. If you have a question about anything, I can guarantee that you’ll be able to find the answer in under 2 minutes.4) The scheduling is so quick! Of course because I’m receiving transgender specific healthcare and not many clinics provide that kind of care nor a safe environment for transgender patients, coming across clinics like Planned Parenthood is rare, and with the large number of transgender people in Florida, the appointments will fill up quickly. However, I never expected how fast I would get my appointment. It took only 2 -3 weeks to visit with someone and progress was made almost immediately.

Sarelle there gave the best service! It was unexpected and refreshing to have. She was knowledgeable and willing to help with scheduling issues that occurred. Because of her I was able to still get seen the same day. Thank you for your help!

The staff there was amazing and kind. I went from being stressed out to calm and educated. The doctor helped me with everything and made me feel very comfortable.

This is absolutely the worst experience with a doctors office I have ever had this past two interactions. The girls at the front desk are not helpful, rude, and give contradictory information. Both prescriptions have had also “issues” when being sent over. They also hang up on you when you express your concern.I have nothing but good things to say about the clinician, but the lack of customer service and accurate information provided when a patient is just trying to obtain something as simple as birth control is absurd.

My heart hurts. I got results that I dont understand after my Colposcapy and its been over 48 hrs without a single call to go over my results and treatment options. Its sad to see the lack of integrity, tenderness, and compassion as I go into the weekend, having to wait even longer to POSSIBLY hear back from them next week? My anxiety is through the roof. 💔 you all really let me down.

I don’t think I’ve ever had such an unpleasant experience. The woman who brought me into my room made me so unwelcome and dumb for asking for a simple IUD checkup just to make sure everything was in place. Other staff were great. I thought PP was supposed to be a safe space and it felt anything but that. Will not be returning. Such a shame to make young women feel awful for being concerned for their health.

I recently had an IUD implanted at this location. Ive been to several different locations over the years and this is by far the nicest location Ive ever been to! Tucked away in a wooded business plaza, it was the safest walk Ive had to an appointment. The office was freshly remodeled, with clean amenities, new furniture, and updated posters. The providers made sure I was informed in the process and all possible side effects, answering all of my questions.Dawn White, N.P. Is exceptional. She is such a nice person and made me feel comfortable. During the procedure, they were so professional and kind, always keeping me in the loop of what was going on. This was my first time at a planned parenthood and I will be back in the future if I need birth control or any other services. Thank you to all the ladies at this location it was quick and painless! You guys are simply wonderful and made me feel so much less anxiety about my visit: thanks times a million!

Came in for std testing and i was so nervous the front girls were so helpful and they made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions the visit was quick and simple i will definitely be spreading the word on the amazing services that were provided today

Not sure what the name of the person who assisted me at the back office but she sounded rude. I understand it has been a busy day for her but please try to be professional and have empathy.

Just got an IUD and the staff was AMAZING! Super informative and respectful. While they were doing the procedure they explained everything step by step as they were doing it which really lowered my anxiety about the entire thing. I highly recommend this location.

I went to this health clinic to have my Nexplanon implant removed. My experience at the clinic was wonderful and I will be returning. All staff that I encountered were pleasant, but Dawn White, N.P. is exceptional. She had my implant out pretty quickly, and despite it being a little stuck in my arm, I was left with a tiny cut in my arm (about 2 mm long) and hardly any bruising at all. If youre looking for a care provider with a great attitude plus skills and experience, shes the one!It is a bit difficult to get on the phone with someone at this clinic, but you can easily make online appointments and they will call you if they need more information.

From check in with Makayla and Angel to Nancy checking me in, to Dawn seeing me, everything was fabulous! Everyone was very professional; the health center manager Grace even came to let me know that I was going to be called back next and apologized for the delay. Even though Heather didnt directly take care of me, she was very pleasant as well! Highly recommend this location.

I scheduled a pap smear a month ahead (their next available appointment ) when I got to my appointment , the guy in the front tried to tell me I did not need once since the last one came back normal . I had concerns that I wanted to get looked into which is why I scheduled a pap. No questions were asked prior to him trying to convince me I did not need one. The first doctor I spoke to when I got in the back room was very helpful and let me know she’s going to reschedule me to come back in the next three days to get another test done . I waited at the front desk and let the receptionist know I was waiting for the doctor to reschedule me. after some time she came back and let me know completely different information, with a disrespectful tone. People go to you for personal concerns , if you can’t be professional or don’t listen to a patients concerns than this is the wrong place for you to be working. Having to speak with strangers about personal and sensitive matters is already hard enough , but her lack of professionalism made it even more uncomfortable.

I arrive 10 min later to my appointment and 20 min later when she call me she say the other guy have to talk to me and I need to wait I say ok , after one all hour waiting and everybody that came after me enter the guy tell me I came late so they have to reschedule my appointment, I wait a all hour sitting there and he can’t tell me that because he was bussy I know how to do a appointment he don’t have to make me wait 1 hour wasting my time to tell me that, this place is always the same is the 3 time they change my appointment I will never come back

I was super nervous for my appointment to get on testosterone, but the staff was absolutely incredible! They helped me through everything, answered all of my questions and the facility was in very great condition. 10/10, would return in 2 weeks for my follow-up :)Edit: when I returned for my follow-up, the doctor showed me how to inject myself with TESTOSTERONE for female to !MALE! hormone replacement therapy. When I did my first shot, the doctor condescendingly and incorrectly said Good girl to me.They also did not offer a sliding scale to neither me nor my wife. I had insurance where the copay was $50 and I couldnt afford that after the first two visits.They refused to offer my wife a sliding scale when she came in for HRT without insurance and each visit would have been $300!!!! What the hell!!!So we both had to wait several more years to continue transitioning, because this place would not work with our budget.I genuinely could not recommend PP for HRT.

Honestly everyone here was beyond nice. They were warm and friendly and they explained absolutely every step of the IUD process and made sure that I understood how it worked and every possible outcome or side effect. Heather and Mercy were fantastic and the two ladies at the front desk were very sweet and helpful. I 100% recommend coming here for anything you might need.

Let me tell you what this Planned Parenthood did for me!!!! I have had my nexplanon inserted in my arm for birth control and it just wasnt right for me at all.. I have been feeling so 😩😫 ever since I got it. I have gone to several clinics to get it removed and they all have turned me away even after having an appointment. If they did not put it in, they will not remove it. I have been suffering!!!I finally decided I would make an appointment online with Planned Parenthood, which was very simple and easy. I came to this appointment understanding there was a chance they would also tell me they cannot remove it, however, I was very wrong. Not only did they remove it but they were Amazing!!!! Sweet and understanding. If I could like this 10 times I would. Thank you for being great and helping a sister out in desperate times of need.God bless.

I went in Wednesday to get my implant for birth control. Soon as I walked in the staff greeted me with such warmth and happiness! I waited no less than 15 mins (but I was very early for my appointment). The ladies answered all the questions I had. When I was waiting on my doctor to come in the nurse was AMAZING at making me feel comfortable and not nervous. The wait time for the doctor was not long either. She came in and made me feel comfortable and before I knew it the implant was in. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Going to be writing this on Yelp and google. I went in today for my IUD to be removed. I was extremely nervous as the insertion of a IUD is quite painful. The front desk, nurse, and doctor were all so so comforting. I was so scared! From the moment I walked in I was given completely professional, kind, and comforting service. When I got my IUD removed, it was quick and painless. This was my first time at a planned parenthood and I will be back in the future if I need birth control or any other services. This place is horrible. You’re better off just going to the emergency room and they will deny you anything you ask for because you know the patient doesn’t know their own bodies. According to them, it’s a federal law that you can have a urine test if they don’t have a reason to give you one when you’re a new patient and why would someone show if they fine.

I had a great experience! I had original gone five years ago to have my nexplon done and just got it removed and replaced. Very sweet and knowledgeable staff loved Dr.Dawn who did my implant… only place I will go for my birth control! ❤️❤️

I had to get my birth control implant out like ASAP, so went in early hoping that they could get me in as a walk in-- and they did!!! i was nervous and crying but everyone was so so sweet, and the removal was quick. absolutely wonderful experience and im so grateful for everyone working there. thank you so much 💞💞

I was very nervous and didnt know what to expect. To my surprise, the staff was very friendly and really seemed to respect my decision. I feel like I truly understood what pro choice meant because there wasnt any push to go in any direction, and there also wasnt any pity shown to make me feel less comfortable with my decision. The wait was about 2 hours or so, but within that time I had an ultrasound done, counseling, bloodwork, iv, procedure, and recovery. I think the staff made the best out of an already unpopular and awkward situation. Thank you.

Stopped by with out an appointment scheduled and although they were busy I was seen pretty quickly. Really appreciated Jennifer and her staff for the prompt attention and wonderful costumer service!!! Medical assistant, Nancy, and practitioner ,Sharon, were so kind and provided lots of information! I would definitely recommend this clinic :)

I went to the one located in Lakeland, and it was one of the best appointments I have ever had with them. Chrissy (provider) and Veronica (MA) were really professional and knew what they were talking about and knew exactly what they were doing. Best experience ever!!!

Probably the nicest people who are both upfront and informative as it gets. We showed up before opening hours hoping to get a walk-in appointment. We were immediately informed that they were short staffed and not taking walk-in appointments this morning. After explaining that we drove over an hour to get there, they politely told us we could wait for an opening if we didn’t tell people we waited a long time and either would or would not be seen. I appreciated this as it gave us no expectation and although we were not seen, they gave us an alternative clinic in the area to be seen.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PP. I normally do not write reviews but everybody was welcoming as soon I walked in. The ladies make you feel really comfortable. The NP that put my IUD in made me feel really comfortable. She walked me through everything she was doing, like when I might feel pressure or not! If I could give 10 stars, I DEFINITELY would!

Sad to have to leave a negative review for this place. Ive been going here since I moved to Tampa and never had a complaint until this past weekend. Apparently they are horrendously understaffed. I had an appointment for a consultation(which took 5 minutes). I waited over two hours. I politely asked how much longer it would be a couple of times and was told ten minutes, which was simply not true. This is apart from the indifferent attitude of the receptionist.I have worked in a medical office and I absolutely understand that things happen that are out of the staffs control, but they didnt mention that they were running behind when they signed me in and gladly took my copayment. One hour into my wait, another young woman got up and said shed been waiting over two hours and was leaving... so it wasnt like one thing happened and they were running late, it had been happening all morning. My primary doctors office routinely runs up to an hour late and each time I walk in the receptionist kindly tells me and offers to reschedule if I need to get to work, which I truly appreciate a lot more than being greeted with a scowl and having to sit in a near empty waiting room for hours on a Saturday morning. There were 3-4 people in the waiting room at any given time, so it wasnt a particularly busy day. I can only imagine that they may be experiencing funding issues to only have one nurse and one doctor working, but as someone who has donated in the past I will absolutely not continue to do so when Planned Parenthoods presence in Tampa has so little respect for their patients. I will not go to this location again, and if you must go to Planned Parenthood due to financial reasons I would suggest researching other local clinics that work on a sliding scale. They absolutely cannot be as bad as this place.

Dawn is so nice. I’ve seen her twice now and she really made me feel better each time. Not just in a medical sense, just overall. She is such a nice person. Great doctor!

I waited in the parking lot well over an hour before opening to ensure that I would be one of the first people in the clinic so that I wouldn’t have a long wait given I read other reviews that said scheduling an appointment did not guarantee less than an hour wait. I walk in and fill out paper work and noticed a sign that said they will not accept your insurance without a photo ID and lucky me I forgot my ID at home. I went up to the desk to explain my situation and see if I could just pay out of pocket for my visit. I was rudely informed “ since we know you have insurance we will not be able to see you even if you pay out of pocket.” Okay fine by me I will take my business elsewhere. My main problem was they were not willing to work with me whatsoever. Will not be going back here

This was my first time here and the NP made me feel so uncomfortable. She verbatim said “do you not understand the words coming out of my mouth?” when she told me to relax as she was performing an exam. She may have been kidding but that’s not the point. This is an environment that I don’t necessarily feel super comfortable with and she was not calming and approachable at all. The assistant, however, was a total sweetheart and I liked her. But when I go to have a pelvic exam I’d like to have somebody who wants me to feel at ease and comfortable and not feel embarrassed and stupid

I highly recommend this location. The entire staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the provider I saw. They were sensitive to my dysphoria and ensured I was comfortable throughout my visit, which is important to me as a transgender person; and provided important resources for me that I needed.

Girlfriend and I only recently moved into the area. Staff couldnt have been any nicer and offered a wide variety of counseling on various options we had as a couple. As we were only going for Birth Control, their rates and service was phenomenal. Baffling at some of these other reviews, considering the wonderful service they provide to young women in making sure they make the right decisions, informed.

I felt very welcomed & comfortable like being with family.. Sarelle really helped me out with my insurance as soon as I arrived and each girl I encountered during my visit were sincerely sweet.

This location is always busy. Even if you have a scheduled appointment, you will wait half the day to be seen. They also are not very friendly. When I scheduled my appointment, which was weeks out, I gave all of my insurance info. I had to pay full price for my appointment because they entered my insurance information wrong, didnt call me about it and then their systems were down so they couldnt verify anything. They didnt tell me this until after I had waited for 3 hours.

My experience in this place was incredible, wonderful, I arrived at the place with a lot of nerves, it was my first time using the implant and all the staff were very kind and caring, Angel at the reception, Heather the nurse, Dr. Dawn White, and the The rest of the staff, they were all kind, friendly, they answered all my questions and calmed my nerves, I loved this place, 100% recommended, thanks for everything.

I used this location to get access to birth control when I was a college student without health insurance. The lobby and clinic rooms were very clean and welcoming. The staff were always very courteous and helpful. I am forever greatful for the respectful experiences offered by this team.

The staff and doctors have always been incredible, and every visit has been a pleasant experience.But there is a real issue with the phones. I cant get in touch with anyone without a 30 minute wait on hold. Everyone has technical issues every once in a while but this has been going on for way too long.

Staff is generally friendly and once Im taken back all is fine and quick. But thats the problem, you WILL sit in the waiting room for at LEAST an hour even if you have an appointment and there is clearly no one else there. NO ONE ELSE! Plan on being there awhile...

I had a very negative experience. My health insurance had recently stopped working with my old gynecologist so I came here as a way to refill my birth control. The women at the front were extremely nice as were the two who took my vitals. However, the nurse practitioner I believe is what she was, was extremely rude and abbrasive. Seeing as others might come here for much more sensitive matters I felt I needed to leave this review. I will never go to the office again and an fact am unsure if my needed birth control perscription was even filled.

Every single person was so kind. I had a wonderful nurse and doctor. Everyone was all smiles and genuinely nice and informative. I did have to wait a long while but it was honestly so worth it because it’s so hard to find sweet healthcare people. I would definitely recommend

I will first start with the postive. I gave the five star rating for the staff members I came encounter with during my visit. Front desk ladies Sarelle and Nancy great energy and very polite. Medical Assist. Rose I want to thank her once again for saving me the embarrassment for noticing my semi huge hole in the back of my pants😩😅. Rose was very polite, very warm hearted and all around super cool unfortunately Rose last day is today. The clinician I seen today her name is Mercy. She was also very polite, and very informative. The downside of my vist was the wait which was very long 💀. I was instructed by the call center to be there first thing first when they opened which indeed I was the very first person to walk in. However the ladies ar the front desk informed me of how the first come first serve policy works and its not guaranteed. I was very grateful they were able to see me this morning. Once I was called back the service was very quick which was great 👍!

Had to go all the way to the Tampa location from St.Pete, since the St.Pete location closed to relocate out of nowhere (without letting anyone know, bleh). But, I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service! The two women at the front desk were very nice, and helped everyone that came in in a timely manner. I may have to go to this location more often!

I have never been here before and to be honest I was a little nervous being my 1st time and I came for my depo shot and my nurse practitioner was Dawn she was incredible super sweet and made me feel so comfortable there also my medical assistant was Arelys she was incredible! Also Heather and Vedia both ladies were so understanding and so nice. Thank you ladies for a great experience!

My nurse was so wonderful, and the physician was so reassuring. They helped calm my concerns about conception, and were so so kind. Thank you!

I too called and cannot reach a human being!! I also tried to make an apt online- it will not allow me to select a date!! I called the company and they give me another number that does not work!!! I chatter with a rep, that told me to go to the location. What a waste. Customer Service is awful! I call the headquarters and they tell me they dont know what is wrong with the phones at the location and that I should just go to the location because they take walk ins.I go to the location and the heavy set girl at the front desk rudely says do you have an appointment, because we dont take walk ins! I tried to explain all that I was told before I came they but she cut me off! This place is ridiculous and the staff is rude! Poorly run business, with lazy employees that could care less!

Took my wife here for an appointment that she had at 11:50. She was getting an IUD which is a 5 minute process. It was 2:10 before the dr even saw her. Had to wait 1.5 hrs just to be called on for an appointment that she had at 11:50. I swear these are accurate times because I am sitting here in the parking lot writing this. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. If I went to a job interview 3 hrs late I wouldnt get the job and not get paid. These drs should not get paid and this office should be shut down. They dont know how to handle customer service in a timely manner. I have to explain to my boss why a set appointment took 3 hrs. This place is horrible.

Met with Drs. Samantha and Latoya, they were very nice and made my visit comforting and safe. 10/10 would recommend them both

I just want to start off by saying thank you 🙏🏻 To nurse heather and the wounderfull doctor , and receptionist, everyone made me feel safe and welcomed . I’ve been in this process for 3 months … advent health made fun off me for trying to get this implante , they would put me off and lie to me that they were helping me , but they would just put me off ! It’s so sad to see how badly they mistreated me for trying to get help , especiall After I told them I was doing this because I was joining the armed forces!, and I would b one of 5 girls in my booth camp !! And I wanted to be safe , they made me feel helpless 🥺! But planned parent hood never denied me !!! They treated me with aloe of love and gave me help right away !!! We need more places like this to help young girls , trying to prevent pregnancy, and more health workers like them to make us feel safe , I can 100% say I’m a so very thankful for all there help 🙏🏻We are blessed to have such a great halo like them , from the bottom of my heart 🙏🏻Thank you ❤️

I’ve been to planned parenthood 3 times! Once to get birth control, once to get my pregnancy confirmed, and last time to get my IUD. Every single time these ladies showed out with outstanding service. I don’t have an OBGYN or gynecologist so I always go to Planned Parenthood for my needs! Thank you girls for all your hard work!

The healthcare staff is always polite and professional. They always answer all my questions and are very helpful. Sarelle is great & always makes sure my prescription is ready on time which elimiates the wait time when I make an appointment. Thanks ladies for all you do!

Had a very positive experience when I was seen last year, BUT im out of birth control now and need a refill. Had to go in person because their phones havent worked in like a year. Was told to make a telehealth appointment which was frustrating enough bc im out of birth control now, but fair enough. I attempt to make a telehealth appointment and the website tells me due to covid you have to make appointments in person...okay???? Going in circles when all i need is birth control is so frustrating, ive been out of pills for a few days now!! :-(

This was my first visit to any PP and from the time I walked in the door everyone was super nice, from the ladies working at the front desk to the doctor. I saw Dr. Dawn White...she’s a phenomenal woman!!! I would recommend them.

The women behind the desk were really nice. Even though it was just a test they explained everything to me. The survive was amazing an the people take their time an explain something to you that you dont understand. I would recommend Planed Parenthood for all my friends an family.

Ive always had great things to say about PP but having just moved to Florida the customer service here is horrendous! I have no insurance between jobs and have an emergency situation. The staff treated me like i was subhuman. I scheduled an appointment using the online tool to find out after driving an hour from my home....my appointment was never confirmed even after i received a text confirmation! Then they said i wasnt gaurenteed an appointment. How irresponsible is a place that fraudentually plays with your health and treats your health as a secondary reason for being an organization. This place needs to get rid of staff /customer service and disable the online appointment tool......its broken! Now i missed an opportunity to find another doctor on a Saturday. If my health is seriousely compromised by these inept people i will definitely make sure my voice is heard!

Really friendly staff and doctors, knowledgeable, make you feel at ease. However even with appointment we waited 2 hours just to be seen for the first time because of a lost file. Then we waited outside again forever. Over all the wait was ridiculous.

After being called in a half hour after my scheduled appointment which had been booked at least 10 days in advance...The intake nurse was too rude making me uncomfortable by dancing around behind the counter. I asked if the doctor could write me a prescription for antibiotics and she said they do NOT do that??? So I left not feeling confident in their skills.

I went to this location for a dating ultra sound 2 yrs ago with my first son. It was a wonderful experience they allowed my husband to come back and we got to have a thats our baby moment they printed me several pictures and views and compiled a chart for me to bring to my ob/gyn. So naturally when I became pregnant with baby number 2, I wanted a similar experience. Boy was I wrong. I waited 2 hrs with an appointment to be seen and then they said my husband could not come back with me. To make the whole experience a waste of time they did an abdominal u/s only and printed one picture. No chart compiled, no due date estimate, no labels on the photo nothing! I guess Im lucky my name is on it. No heart beat nothing. Just thats a verbal thats your uterus, thats the sac, thats the yolk, thats the baby....awful. absolutely terrible experience! I will NEVER go back again.

If youre trans and under 18 like i am this place was a nightmare. No where online it says you need to bring your birth certificate and when you call to make your appointment no one says that your need your birth certificate. Called to reschedule and first they said the 2nd of September then the 14 of September and now the 19th of September.

Honest to god, the nicest people I have ever encountered in a medical facility... or any practice, really. They make you feel welcome, explain everything in a way that doesnt feel condescending, and make sure that you understand and are comfortable. I noticed I was smiling almost the whole time I was here.

This place is amazing!!!!! Makayla helped me by making sure I can get my IUD when I thought I couldnt get it!!! And everyone was Soo nice to me throughout my visit I 100% recommend coming here

They were absolutely amazing. They made my day and I finally got my birth control after dealing with 3 other horrible places. They squeezed me in when they didnt have to and I was so greatful. There was a lady named ariel as well that was so sweet and the other girls as well. The dr was super sweet too. Thank you.

Prepare to wait for a very long time. Im talking an 40min to an hour minimum every time. No matter if you called in or had an appointment. Doesnt matter. Time is immaterial within this office.You will not be comfortable. If they could find less comfortable chairs that werent actual medieval torture devices theyd use them but they must be rare.Are you in line? Im sorry lines dont work that way here. Im not entirely sure by what bizarre, arcane process they decide who theyre gpu g to serve but forget about lines because that is definitely not it.Also, while the staff arent overtly rude, dont expect them to give any kind of a Damn about how late, uncomfortable and irritated you are.Doesnt matyer if you called in your prescription to be picked up yesterday. Youll sit in that horror chair for an hour while they find it, after at least three other people who walked in after you have been seen to.

This is my first visit and I saw dr. Dawn white and she’s an amazing lady, and her hands are so light. I really recommend this for anyone(ladies)And the front desk are so nice as well... thank you :)

Front desk staff were very kind and answered any questions I had. I went in to get my Nexplanon removed, and the nurse and doctor (Keke & Dawn) were so sweet and continuously reassured me as I was scared of the numbing lol Keke even let me hold her hand! Thank you guys

Ive been on the phone since 10am and it’s now 1pm. No one has answered the phone. The hold just goes silence and then hangs up on me if I wait in silence long enough. I scheduled an telehealth appointment because I don’t have a car to physically go, and they never sent me a link to it. I’ve exhausted all the ways to contact them and nothing has worked. JUST ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE I JUST NEED ONE THING DONE JESUS CHRIST IM GOING TO BECOME PRO-LIFE IF YALL DONT ANSWER

After making an appointement on the phone clearly stating my problem with painful periods I arrived at the Tampa Planned Parenthood. Once inside with a nurse or doctor, she did not say or have a tag, I stated my problem and was told that she “can’t help” me. She was rude in my opinion and offered no advice or referral. An uncomfortable waste of time.

I was checked in by Nancy today to get a new prescription of birth control pills everyone was very helpful including my nurse, Mercy. I got everything I needed in less than an hour and felt welcome from the moment I walked in!

This is the first time I have gone to a Planned Parenthood and had a great experience. I had very little wait time, the staff was great, and I received the time and attention that I needed. The experience was excellent and I thank all who contributed to making it a good one.

Everyone is very nice but the wait is ridiculous. Even with an appointment you wait an hour to get in to be seen, even if your appointment takes 5 minutes to do! They need to be a little better prepared/organized or offer less appointment times so the people that do have appointments dont have to wait forever.

Friendly staff. they keep you comfortable. Went in for the nexplanon. Also did some other testing when I was there. Id go back. They dont judge you. However you got a christian women crying outside. Morons think its only for abortions. Only problem I got with the nexplanon is I been on peroid for 3 weeks. Everyone different. They also have other options. Id recommend it. They take Medicaid too.

I have never had a bad experience here and I am a regular of 3 years! Even as a walk-in, the wait time is minimal and the staff is beyond professional and compassionate to sensitive matters! Definately recommend this office!!

Affordable, friendly, and helpful! Planned Parenthood on 56th is the best! I dont know how I would have access to birth control pills without them as I cant afford health insurance even though I work full-time. They also provide cervical cancer screenings, mammograms and STI testing if needed.

I was there and they said that my prescription would be ready in 1 hour. it’s been 5 hours. no walgreens or cvs even has an order sent to them. this place won’t answer any type of phone call. i dont know how else to get in contact.

They scheduled me for a Pap smear after explaining I had one a couple years ago. Then when I showed up they told me it was every five years so I couldn’t be seen. Huge waste of time.

I come to Planned Parenthood for all my gynecological healthcare. PAP smears, colposcopy, birth control. The women who work here are phenomenal in knowledge, bedside manner, and help. Accesivle womens healthcare is so important, and this location rocks!

Front desk is rude. Asked me what i was here for then diagnosed me before I saw a dr.. by telling me that my symptoms are not matching up with why I am here. Stay up front your not the dr.
