Favoritism and nepotism run rampant. This place is run by people who do not know what they are doing. I feel sorry for the clients since more and more needed services become unavailable.

Hiring team and recruiting team is very dystopian. Yvette Bass who is the recruiting and retention specialist has a very outdated, nonprogressive attitude towards POC in regards to fair hiring practices. The Services SAAF provide for the community are 11/10 however for an organization to act as a champion for under represented and under attack groups; they fail to see the irony in gatekeeping the same opportunities from the people who seek to rise up to the occasion that their mission statement seeks to reduce here in Southern Arizona. Please conduct an internal audit as soon as feasible; as a community nonprofit organization, you have an obligation to act with a high degree of transparency and accountability.

SAAF is the embodiment of humanity and progression, they do not discriminate and have advice/resources for everyone. If you or a loved one need assistance, physical/mental/etc., please reach out to a local non-profit, such as SAAF. Unfortunately, not all of the non-profits are as friendly and understanding as SAAF, which makes them TOP TIER. They have staff that are well versed on everything, and have seen it all, or at least, can get you an answer. I am blown away at the capacity and engagement that they have with their community. It goes beyond bureaucratic work, as the staff actually CARE. Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation is one of the last remaining pillars/titans of Tucson Arizona. Please, send your thanks or appreciation their way, they are one of the few organizations that deserve it.

I felt welcomed, validated, and safe. Came here for an HIV test that ultimately was negative, but I was nervous, and I was reassured with positivity and warmth. I also feel much more educated about sexual health and wellness as a whole, and how I can protect myself and others against all STIs. Really lovely place ❤️ thank you.

They offer very important free services to the community, such as HIV & Hepatitis C testing. As well as providing other invaluable resources that greatly benefit the community. Very friendly kind non-judgemental people always make u feel welcome and at ease.

SAAF What can I say. When I was told that I had HIV in 2005. The Doctor that told was at the Midvale Doctors Office on Valencia rd. I went to KINO Camps because I made an Appointment to Meet Dr. Stephen Klotz Infation Specialist at the Time The University of Arizona Hospital. From 2005 to 2009 Was still showing HIV. In 2006 I got MRSA Staff infections that was a Challenge for Me and My Body System. The infected Blood from the MRSA Was Traveling Up to My Brain it Damage My Motor Skills. I wasnt approved to get SSID got an Attorney and Won My Case. Just to let you know I get My Lapworks Testing every 3 Months. Because I take My HIV Medications Nightly My V. Load has been Improving because In 2009 to Present Is New Showing HIV UNDETECTABLE. 6 Months ago My Dentist wanted to Rebuild My upper Teeth because of My Grinding at Night. My Teeth were worn down. I submitted the Paperwork that The Dentist had Proposed. Neal from SAAF Approved the Work done on My Teeth. I got No Problem with SAAF Organization Tucson Arizona Communitys. SAAF. Ryan White Foundation. The Peterson Clinic foundation Has Help Me A lot. Especially the SAAF Staff. God Bless you always.
