Mens Vitality Center

My PCP, James, goes above and beyond. Have not had to wait long ever to get an appointment. And then appointments happen on time or very close... that never has happened for me elsewhere. James spent 30 minutes even just discussing results and answering questions during my annual. He really cares and really looks after his patients. Try finding any of that at other doctors offices - there you are just a number, here you are a valued patient. I highly highly recommend them for primary care and more.

I had to find new Primary Care, due to my previous provider not excepting my insurance anymore. That said, Im extremely happy with James Lamb and the staff at Mens Vitality Center. Theyre friendly, caring and very attentive to my questions and needs. I highly recommend the Mens Vitality Center!

I visited this place in early January. It appears to be their policy to charge new patients—even insured patients—the full cost of a visit ($260 at the time I went) regardless of the discount negotiated with your insurance.I was told that the difference would be refunded to me once they had an explanation of benefits from the insurer. After several weeks passed, I called and asked again about the refund of the difference (about $110 in my case): Would it be refunded to the credit card? Would it be held in account to apply against future visits?The woman I spoke to said that there is no one in the office who understands how the insurance discount works and they could not help me.No in the office understands how negotiated insurance discounts work! Their words.Instead, she suggested I email the owner of the business and gave me an email address. Okay, this is very strange, but fine, I emailed the owner. Three days have passed with no reply.I cant say I am surprised.I now suspect that this business intentionally over-charges new patients the full cost of a visit, despite insurance discounts, and simply hopes that customers will now bother to collect their refund.I will say, the nurse that saw me way very nice and seemed competent (Ill also mention I was not told when I booked the appointment that Id be seeing a nurse; I specifically made an appointment to see Dr Evans) and that the staff I spoke to were polite. Unfortunately, that doesnt make up for their awful business practice.I will not be returning (as a patient) to this place.

I cant recommend Dr. Freeman enough. Ive had extremely poor experiences with every other doctor I have visited in Tucson - waiting months for a physical, or weeks for a visit, being rushed out the door or offered an impersonal and unsatisfactory level of care. Dr. Freeman is the first doctor I have had who provides top-level care with extremely personable bedside manner, and he always sees me in a timely manner and ensures my healthcare needs are met. Seriously the best doctor I have found across the 4 states Ive lived in.

Since I started going here I have received nothing but the best treatment. When Dr. Freeman left I thought that was the end of this experience. However the doctor who replaced him.has filled his shoes very nicely. The staff is wonderful very inviting and up tempo. My favorite MA is Jessica always attentive and on the ball with any and everything I have asked her. I would recommend this clinic over and over to any of my male friends and co workers.

1st visit: I went for an annual checkup and labs. The staff is friendly, and the wait times are the shortest of any Dr I have ever seen. I dont believe anyone saying the staff is unprofessional.I got a call a week after my labs with the results! My old Dr would milk the billing and make me come in and bill me or my insurance just to give me lab results. This wasted money, and most importantly, this wasted time Mens Vitality Clinic doesnt waste my time.NP James Lamb is a fantastic medical practitioner. He has helped me more in a single visit and phone call than my last Drs did in 5 years. I would have to bug my old Dr to get my blood sugar tested more than once a year whereas Dr. Lamb has a plan to keep an eye on it regularly so I dont end up getting diabetes.Mens Vitality Clinic got done more in 1 visit than my old Dr could get done in 3 years. Even if the per visit cost is cheaper at other Docs, I think MVC is cheaper overall because their efficiency saves me from unnecessary visits. I value my time even more than my money so I am very happy with this clinic.I highly recommend Mens Vitality Clinic and FNP James Lamb.

I was in need of a full physical in order to meet a tight deadline for a foreign travel visa. I called and visited my clinics in Tucson and could not find a doctor who was familiar with foreign travel visa requirements. The closest clinic I could find was a 2-hour drive and 3 week waiting list in Phoenix. I then received a call from Dr. Freemans staff at the Mens Vitality center, I had sent off numerous inquiries the night before seeking help. I was reassured that Dr. Freeman was extremely well versed in foreign visa travel requirements! I was giving a very quick appointment and after meeting Dr. Freeman I was reassured that he could and would meet any deadlines I had with my pending travel!After completing all the needed labs and physical, I received a personal call from Dr. Freeman informing me that my packet was ready.Extreme professionalism and unsurpassed knowledge! Thank you to Dr. Freeman and his staff for all the hard work!

Bad vibes on the first visit. Just weird aura. I had to call them over and over to get the results of my blood work. They stated my insurance needed a second test but when I went in for another blood draw I had forgotten my mask and when I asked if they had any the lady at the desk was pretty rude. Then the person trying to draw blood couldn’t find a vein and said everyone else was busy and I’d have to come back. That and they fact that the place seemed run down helped me walk out and not go back.

Yep the reviews were correct. The doctor or nurse practioner gave me this spiel about how he knew how to write up the tests so I wouldnt have to pay out of pocket for it. Fast forward to 4 months later and I get a bill in the mail from labcorp saying that I owe them $837.00. I definitely dont reccomend this place. I ended up not even being a good candidate so not only did I go there for nothing but now I have a $800+ bill I have to deal with.

Not a good first impression. My husband was just turned away for not having a mask and they can’t provide one. Maybe they should let us know when scheduling! Are we really still doing this?!? Not to mention the garbage attitude of the staff. Lots of options in Tucson and now after reading other reviews I think we dodged a bullet.

Very impressive!! I was unfortunate enough to have had my primary care physician take an early retirement (thank you, Obamacare). It was almost as if my stars aligned at the time, though, because one of my co-workers had just told me about MVC the week before. I called to schedule an appointment, anticipating the typical 2 month wait time. I was seen the next day!They have friendly staff throughout, greeting me with a smile every time, and knowing me on a first-name basis. The office is super clean and the waiting room is almost set up like a man cave, with a giant plasma on the wall and comfortable chairs to sit in. The wait time to be seen is very short though, which is unfortunate, because I wouldnt mind just sitting there in the waiting room and melt into one of the chairs and watch ESPN.What I am more grateful for is the thoroughness of the care I receive. It is very comforting knowing that any health problem I have will be taken care of (not that I have very many). After having my blood work done, it was determined that my testosterone levels were horribly low. I agreed on a plan of care with the practitioner, and have been getting TRT since then....I must say, I think that my fiancé is quite pleased with the results too.Since I started going to Mens Vitality Center 6 months ago, I have referred several friends and co-workers. I even sent my old man to them when his primary care doctor retired!! So long as I am a resident of Tucson, MVC is where I will be going for healthcare. I would highly recommend that anyone who is in need of primary care or TRT do the same!!

Great service. My appointment started 10 mins before scheduled, and the staff in the waiting room was very welcoming. The doctor himself was professional, approachable, covered all bases, and was able to explain what was going on and why. Would recommend.

I have been seeing Dr Freeman for over a year now, He is the finest Dr I have ever seen. He is very thorough in his care and takes time to explain treatment. The staff is professional and caring.

Before I knew I could get my own labs , I went here . The staff was very unprofessional, used foul language about the lobby TV being too loud .When the doctor walked in , I was surprised at his body composition lol .. Nevertheless, he was a nice guy . My labs came back good , and he straight up said there was nothing to treat me for .Unlike Universal men’s clinic, who will sell you a plan before they do blood work ! Hats of to these guys for at least doing that

I walk in and max ten minutes, in and out never super busy, never make an appt walk in and out. People are super nice polite and we all talk about work or our families. Just pay minimum insured covers alot. Best 10 minute of my day. Thanks guys.....

Twice I needed forms faxed to my employer for FMLA. Both times they didnt do it successfully. The second time I asked if they sent them and even though it had been SIX DAYS since I gave them the forms they still hadnt even filled them out. HORRIBLE and untimely with NO sense of urgency to accommodate patient needs.

Went in for a basic STD screening. Was told it would cost about $250, so I paid $250. Two weeks later I receive a laboratory bill for $720. The doctors bill and the lab testing bill are separate. What a scam. Pima Health Clinic does that test for free.

Dr. Freeman is an outstanding doctor. I would HIGHLY recommend the Mens Vitality Center. Excellent staff, as well.

Only 2 stars because Dr Freeman is an excellent provider. Unfortunately, is surrounded by inept business owners and staff.

Great practice! Warm attentive staff and a medical provider who truly listens and cares. Life savers!
