If you want a clinic that doesn’t treat you like family then this isn’t the clinic for you! Dr. Long cares more about helping create families than he does money! He’s extremely compassionate and you can tell he loves his job! Not only is this about him, but it’s also about his staff. When when we had our first MC after a fresh transfer, the staff was caring and sensitive towards us. We have our son because of Dr. Long and his staff. Unfortunately we can’t use Dr. Long for our last transfer as he Is not in our network, but he wants to still be a part of our journey into having our second baby, but following along with our new doctor! We will be staying in touch with him and his staff as they did become part of our family !

I’ve seen both Dr. Rosenthal and Dr. Long, and they are both very caring, easy to talk to, and eager to answer any questions you might have. Definitely recommend ACRM to anyone wanting to conceive!

I have never been to a better place! The staff is amazing, the lady who took my blood was fantastic and the doctors I met were a Godsend! This has been the most put together, well organized smoothly ran appointment I’ve ever been to. I’m so happy we are a part of this place!

Dr. Long has been my physician for over a decade. He has helped my husband and me have two beautiful little girls. He even looked after us when we got pregnant naturally. He will listen to your concerns and suggestions and take them to heart. Every surgery he has performed on me has gone without issue and with no problems in the postoperative period. He is an excellent physician and friend. His staff is wonderful as well. They are caring, thorough, and seem to always be glad to see us.

The ladies in the front are so sweet and kind. I have had the best experience being seen here in a timely manner. I can spend tops 30 min here vs 2-3 hours at my OB. They have answered all of my questions and made me feel heard. They even squeezed me in for a peace of mind ultrasound one day. I am so pleased with how I have been treated and cared for here.

The experience and care you get in this office is outstanding. From the front desk, to the nurses, to Dr. Long. They take the time to know you and care for you so well. If you are walking through infertility and not a part of this practice already, you need to stop what you’re doing an make an appointment. You will receive the best care.

We have had amazing experiences with all ACRM staff, NPs (Tracy and Cecily), and Dr. Long! We highly recommend this clinic in both Birmingham and their Montgomery office.ACRM has made the very rough journey of fertility treatment much easier. We feel heard. Our treatment plan has been very individualized to our care needs. For once, we don’t feel like just another number on a patient chart.

Dr Long and staff have become members of our family. The last three years have been nothing short of a rollercoaster, but we have always been very supported by this team! On our third round we finally had our baby girl, and are now trying for a second. I would recommend Dr Long to anyone with questions or struggling with fertility.

I would give them 0 stars if I could!!! The Birmingham location is the worst!! Literally from day one we did not have a good experience. Being a new patient of infertility and being your first visit and being rushed in and having your husband go do his business and then the nurse practitioner giving you the horrible news alone and by your self is horrible for your husband to walk in and you’ll be crying and not understand what was just told and what’s going on.Their other location is absolutely amazing. The people are kind and caring, but I will tell you it’s not worth coming to this clinic go to another clinic.I say this after having failed are you eyes and failed IVF. I have now spoken with multiple reproductive medicine specialists who have all confirmed the actual doctors and their nurse practitioners that this office botched my IVF cycle. After making me wait three months to do my next transfer, then telling me I have to wait three more months to do another transfer. If you look around, there are lots of other qualified professionals out there that do IVF more than two days a month and don’t put you on medication for so long that ends up making you miss a cycle. After our egg retrieval, and after our IVF cycle in this clinic, we felt rushed out of the clinic. They didn’t really explain details that much. It was very unnerving and unsettling being your first time having IVF. And now I’m in the process of trying to transfer my embryos to another clinic and get a refund on my IVF and nobody is contacting me back to refund me after the woman hung up on me and they’re telling me that the embryologist doesn’t work in their office all the time so I have to wait till the following week to transfer my embryos, which then makes me lose another cycle because of the timeframe or have to go on more medication to delay a cycle. So please read this review and please choose another clinic. It will save you so much heart ache!! this journey is stressful enough and you want to do it with a really caring and compassionate team. This office is not the one.

I received fantastic care from the providers at this facility. They were compassionate and listened to my preferences as a patient. They came up with a plan that put my mind at ease about my fertility issues. The staff cares about their patients, are easily accessible, and are accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about this practice.

Great experience! ACRM was able to get me in for an appointment very quick and my appointment was very fast and also thorough. I left with answers instead of waiting for results. The lab tech also had awesome inspirational quotes that uplifted my spirits. 10/10 all day.

We went to him for a second opinion and he found something the other doctor didn’t. He also gave us a plan on the first day of meeting with him instead of keeping it to himself like the other specialist did. He is great and I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for answers and trying to start their family.

I called today to make a appointment as a new patient, the receptionist stated she will need both my husband and I email DOB, SS , insurance card, co pay etc.....before making the appointment. She never ask if I even had a husband or the reason for my appointment, that was literally the first thing she says. I let her know that I had all the info and was ready to make the appointment. I told her that I will be paying out of pocket because my insurance does not cover the IVF treatments she told me the price and I let her no that was fine, then she states I could not make the appointment because I told her I have insurance and she wanted the card info to fill for labs and other things even when knowing I will be paying out of pocket. I told her I already check and my insurance does not cover and before I could say anything else she hung up. She was very rude and impersonal, I could only imagine the nightmare this could have been with dealing with uncompassionate staff at a time when you already feel hopeless.

This staff…. Where do I begin! Kaleigh goes above and beyond in patient care. Nicole is by far the most personable receptionist ACRM has had. Nicole not only gets to know every patient, but advocates for them. Cassidy and Cecily review every lab I have had and stuck by my side through every difficult situation. HANNAH… lord the best there is. Everyone there has been amazing to not only me, but every person who goes there. Dr. Long is the only doctor I trust with my life, he has found and fixed every issue I have ever had, promptly and correct. I can trust him to always take care of me! Joseph has always spoken to every patient and his face is always around his office, you can tell he loves his staff. All around, I named basically every employee there, which should tell you that this place is GOLD. Everyone there is the best of the best!

I had a very pleasant and informative appointment. The office was very cute and welcoming and so was all the staff and the providers. It made me feel so much at ease about going through this process again.

Dr. Long and the ACRM staff are extremely tentative and caring towards your fertility treatments and goals. I have received more care and consideration in the few short weeks I’ve been their patient than the 3 years I was a patient at another fertility clinic. At ACRM you aren’t treated like just a number…they treat you like family.

Absolutely amazing staff! We just welcomed our first child back in March thanks to Dr. Long! He is truly an amazing doctor and the staff is so kind. Hannah is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. The people in this office have become family to us and they make you feel as such. We have not been successful with starting our family at this point but I will always use Dr Long and his staff! This awesome reproductive team comes highly recommended here.

I visited for my post-op staple removal. She was the one who removed my staples and was so kind. Her “bedside manner” was great. She answered all my questions and all my husband’s questions about what to do next and we left feeling comfortable and encouraged. Definitely recommend.

She was very patient and communicative. I really needed someone who would listen and give me the clarity I needed to proceed in the steps of possibly bringing life in this world in the healthiest and safest way. She provided that for me

The clinic is some what ok when I first started with them and then I just didn’t feel comfortable discussing my billing out in the opening on each visit the rep is extremely loud in discussing personal information in front of other patients there’s absolutely nooooooo privacy. Also when doing my transfer or an exam I never been to a clinic where the equipment they just rinse them off usually it’s open brand new from a pack sealed there’s weren’t at all the Dr just rinsed it off under the water which was very disturbing to me I literally recorded everything. And I didn’t even see my name on the screen which I recorded it all I saw was a pic of 2 embryos they claimed that were mine which is very strange my last clinic had my name on screen and I saw everything even the flash of our embryos being placed inside me at this office I didn’t receive none of that. How would I know if our embryos were ever even transferred I didn’t see anything at all. Thank God I video recorded everything. Something just wasn’t right at this clinic that day. Some of the nurses there are very rude as well no kind of eye contact at all. But I am glad I am done with them and at CNY they treat you extremely better like family. Our lawyer is looking into this situation for us though. I didn’t want to provide no stars but in order to post this I had to add at least one they don’t deserve not one star.

Please choose another clinic..I was in tears when I left this clinic. The staff was very unprofessional and uncaring! All private information was discussed in the open and it seem to be about what you may or may not afford. Never had such a horrible experience at a clinic. Good luck!

Dr Long is a life saver!He is literally the best!I went to a different doctor for months for fertility issues. I never knew a single thing about what was going on or what this test or that test was for. Absolutely nothing was explained. I changed doctors to dr long and the first call itself was amazing! they scheduled me in that coming week and not months later. The very first visit I had with dr long actually before I meet him in this appointment I had answers on why I have fertility issues. I spoke with him he made every single medical term make sense to where I had a clear understanding of what was going on. he did not miss a beat on any information. He schedule my surgery which was the first of the week the following month. I went in for sugary and every person I spoke with from 430am to the last steps I took walking out off Brookwood was absolutely Amazing! the most caring and best bed side manners I’ve seen in a long time! I recommend dr long 1000%. I could go on and on but just know calling dr longs office was the best choice I’ve made medical wise and in ONE visit we had answers!

In a sometimes difficult and challenging time, the staff are so kind and supportive. They are so responsive to questions and genuinely care about your treatment. I am so grateful to have these doctors guiding me on my fertility journey!

We have been through one round of IVF with Dr. Long after using another Fertility clinic in the area previously. At the former clinic we felt like we were a number paying for their fancy building and once we paid the big bill we were hearded through like cattle. This is NOT how Dr. Long operates. He and his team are there because they care and I truly believe if one of his staff does not care, he would not keep them their long. He keeps his costs affordable and explains how and why at your first visit with him (1/3 of the price of our first clinic we used) and his NPs (Beth and Cassidy are so knowledgeable, helpful and caring all while being clear concise and complete in their time with us so that no ones time is wasted). The entire staff is so kind. I had an emotional breakdown in the phlebotomist (Tasia) chair and she took the time to speak with me to calm me down and pray with me. Dr. Long is particular about who works with him and even told us that he works hard to keep the best staff to suit the care of his patients and to represent his name and his practice. We will continue to see Dr. Long until our family is complete and we will always refer people to him and his team.

Such a wonderful staff ❤ They make the process simple and treat you like family. Definitely the best fertility clinic around in reference to experience and price. Dr. Long and Hammonds knowledge and caring personalities cant be compared to. They go above and beyond for their patients without hesitation. Seriously the best! It doesnt get better than AIRM! Dr Long is a very respectful man he understood what I was there about. He goes straight to the point in letting you know what he’s going to do and we love that. Our last clinic had us going through to much to get us no where. We thank our cousin for everything and Dr Long

I will give Dr. Long credit. But some of the staff is very much unprofessional and uncaring at best!!!Let’s first start at the front desk. Be on your p’s and q’s in knowing what your health insurance will pay for in regards to infertility. This will save you the trouble of having to argue with the receptionist who doesn’t have a clue on how insurance works. Know before you go if your deductible has been met before you do labs or any kind of procedures such as ultrasounds. Needless to say, I have had to argue with them about the billing every time I go and the sad thing is I have a baseline appointment tomorrow and will have to more than likely argue about a balance of $532 for which the EOBs from BCBS indicates I don’t owe anything.Secondly in regards to pricing for conventional IVF….they will give you a price sheet that indicates that the IVF cycle price is $5,675. I just received a message in the patient portal indicating the fee cost is $6,750 with no indication of what the additional cost is for. Needless to say I am more than prepared to cancel with ACRM and will not be taken advantage of. This is already a difficult process as is, but to blindly charge for a service or lab that insurance will cover is wrong and unethical.Dr. Long (if you read the reviews), do yourself a favor and hire an experienced financial counselor that is thorough. Your practice would greatly benefit. I was recommended to you from a friend that worked with you at ART. She indicated that she had a dedicated financial counselor through the entire process.

Amazing staff and service! We drove 7 hours and they there so accommodating and eager to help with anything we needed! Karen, NP is the absolute best! She made us feel so confident about everything and listened to all of my questions and concerns so patiently! We would absolutely do it again and would recommend anyone to them for INVOcell! It was a great experience!

Best fertility clinic! After coming from another clinic this place was amazing. The staff truly care and listen to all of your concerns. Dr Long is amazing and Dr Hammond words can’t describe. We’ve done 2 rounds of invocell with them and currently pregnant. Couldn’t have made it this far without them!

After seeing another specialists for about a year and getting no answers I sought out a second opinion and I am so thankful that I did because now I am expecting my rainbow baby in May. Dr Long and his staff listen to your concerns, they listen to and take into consideration your thoughts and opinions on your care. They offer affordable IVF unlike other fertility clinics. This is a practice that believes in being straight to the point and no beating around the bush and wasting money! The ambiance of the staff is very good especially dealing with women who are more than likely on emotional roller coasters each visit. I appreciate my experience thus far even though my journey has just began.

Dr Long seemed extremely nice. The staff is cordial. I would not call them comforting or caring. No one seemed to care about any part of the process. I understand this is just a job but when something is so personal there is a way that you nurture, explain and care for people. When I decided to leave I just stop going. Not one person called to reach out to see what or if there were any issues. Literally coming there at least once a week to not coming back at all. No one cared enough to even call. This is after I had to call to get information that was very important. There are jobs where you have to do more than just go through the motions. Maybe it was too new but is was a terrible experience.

I really don’t know where to begin. My wife is too upset to say anything about Dr. Long or his practice so I feel it is my duty to inform any couples of our experience.First of all: you pay for what you get. This is by far the cheapest IVF option, probably in the southeast, and for good reason. They had horrible communication. The women who go through this process are already in a tough place mentally. Cecil Long and his staff wouldn’t call us back, didn’t have answers for medication questions, and didn’t even let us know the results of our pregnancy test.When it came time for the egg retrieval: he didn’t use sterile technique. He put on his sterile gloves then proceeded to touch a door handle and walk out of the room for a few minutes. He came back wearing the same “sterile” gloves. He started the procedure before my wife received anything for pain. I cannot imagine how painful this is for a woman and this man and his anesthesiologist STARTED THE PROCEDURE BEFORE THEY ADMINISTERED ANESTHESIA.For anyone new to this process: this is not standard operating procedures.I can go on and on about how much these people abused our trust, but it’s not going to get the time and money back that we wasted. We love Dr. Long and the staff at ACRM. They are very professional, caring, get you in and out for appts. Just a great practice overall.

My husband and I visit this clinic and the staff was very nice, we were paying out of pocket and we paid for all our services in CASH, over thousand dollars just for LABS. To this day, we both are still getting a bill for something that was already paid for. I will never go back to this clinic again, and I would never recommend anyone else to go. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!

I love ACRM! I am an Egg Donor Coordinator and we use them for monitoring for our patients. They have been so accommodating and seem to really care about making sure we have the best experience. I am especially thankful for Arielle!

I am currently using Dr. Long & I feel as if hes a great Dr. Hes very laid back & caring. He does his due diligence in trying to investigate your fertility issues before just suggesting any old money making procedures. He wants to try to find and treat the problem as conservatively as possible. He will suggest many ways to help other than going straight to IVF or anything else. He will investigate both parents to see what may be the problem. Hopefully it will all work out but I do feel the care Ive received has been thorough & makes sense.

Dr. Long is amazing! We started seeing him at Brookwood in 2014 for our fertility issues. When we heard that he opened up his own practice, we followed him there. He has the perfect balance of knowledge, bedside manner and sincerity that we look for in a doctor. He has not given up on us and that is a major plus!

Went to this clinic for an IVF outside monitoring appointment. They do not off same day labs, they did not do a thorough enough ultrasound, and forgot to send my ultrasound to my IVF clinic. I had to call the provider on call to get my ultrasound sent to my clinic. IVF is a stressful time in anyones life and this clinic did not make anything easier

Cecily is great. She is laid back and easy to talk to. I have not had a successful pregnancy yet but she has been so caring and compassionate through a failed transfer.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Both offices very unorganized. Unsanitary. I often saw people blood and used tools. No covering on trash cans. The very first visit we sat in the office four hours only to be told go home and the doctor will call you. I asked specifically for information on my next visit and what to expect. I was told come alone it’s just a ultrasound. But when I got there they asked, “Where is your spouse?” After taking birth control for months and going through the process they would not see us for a last minute appointment because we had our kids even though we were already in the office. Even though it was their fault we didn’t have time to get childcare because they told us to come singular when we both needed to be at the appointment.Overall awful experience for a couple trying to conceive.

They are all amazing! We did two rounds of A-IVF and now we have a beautiful baby girl. Karen is a angel! She was so supportive and caring due the whole process. You can truly tell she loves what she does.

I love Dr. Long - hes always been so kind and supportive of me. Hes done several of my surgeries and they have all gone well!

After 4 years of infertility, 2 OBGYNS & 2 other fertility clinics, Dr. Long & his team were able to diagnose our infertility, provide us with our two surgeries, relieve pain, & increase our chance of a successful pregnancy, as well as increase our chances of natural pregnancy. They’re kind, communicate with you every step of the way, and they’re aggressive when it comes to making sure you are given the best chance at successful pregnancies.

Bad experience the vibes wasn’t right I stop by to inquire on a tubal reversal also was given a wrong diagnosis, stated after he remove polyps I may not need tubal reversal. I immediately Went to have a second opinion scheduled my procedure and it was a success. PDTA

Dr. Long was very informative and we moved right along with treatment. He was very professional!!!

I havent meet Dr. Long yet. But everyone else in the office has been extremely nice.

Highly recommend ACRM. Doctors do thorough testing to diagnosis the fertility issue. Very nice and clean office with very friendly and sympathetic staff.
