Incredibly disappointed in the medical care I received. Have gone here for a few years now. Today, was met with no understanding of concerns that were brought up, instead had natural “skinny drops” pushed on me as a solution for weight loss and auto immune disorders. Appointment felt rushed and left me no room to express other concerns outside of this sales pitch she wanted to give the whole time.

Love Dr. Tamucci! Think I already reviewed her as I finally made the switch to her and couldn’t be happier. She listens, advises and truly cares about her patients.This review is for her mammographer. I wish I caught her name. She was very knowledgeable and kind. I used to go to a very busy multi-doctor OB office. They also take mammograms in-office, but it was uncomfortable and impersonal. This was a completely different experience. Felt completely at ease by the friendly, professional tech. No wait, and a much more private visit. Recommend this office!

Tamucci,If you are finished having babies and want a wonderful Gyno who communicates well. Takes time with her patients to meet their needs, believes in a Dr Patient relationship, Dr Tamucci is the one. I was excited to arrive at her new location at Med Help and find I could have my mammogram done in house right then and there . Labs were done and I’m back on the road . What a great change from having to drag myself back into another appointment to completely the full woman’s annual exams at this age. Nice that I’m no longer waiting in a waiting room for hours due to two or three deliveries that just happened to decide to join the world during a scheduled appointment . Ha Don’t get me wrong , I love the babies, but it’s nice having a Dr who can focus on the woman after her child bearing years .I’d you are new to the Ham, Dr Tamucci is a wonderful Dr , and you should give her a visit. Dr Tamucci is a wonderful Dr, and a caring person. What brought me to her was the desire to not be in a large OB practice- and one that focuses on gynecology and women’s health. This is that! And the office is convenient and easy to get in and out!

Dr. Tamucci delivered both of my children years ago. She was proactive and caring about my fertility issues. Now that she no longer delivers babies and I am in a different stage of life, she has been so helpful and informative when it comes to hormonal changes. She is a great doctor! Never in a rush, always listens and takes time with me. Couldnt be happier with her staff and service!

Dr. Tamucci was very easy to speak with and I felt totally comfortable with her. She understood the stage of life I’m in and recommended a book to better educate myself. She automatically requested testing for things before I had to request them myself. The exam was very quick and painless. The office had great staff and was one of the most efficient I’ve ever seen.

Left several messages to call back for appt. No return call. Finally spoke with Angela after calling back again. All I can say, if you want patients to come to you, find a person that is somewhat nice. She was very rude! I ended up telling her I would go somewhere else. Even though I have used Dr. Tummaci for years at Brookwood. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Tamucci provides a tremendous service to women. Her extensive knowledge and progressive care has been such a relief to find in Birmingham. I cant recommend her enough to any woman wanting to be truly heard and understood.

I have used Dr. Tamucci for 13 years. She is the best! Love her new location at Lakeshore. Her staff is friendly and helpful from the front desk to the lab to the nurse. Would definitely recommend Dr. Tamucci!

I have been a patient of Dr. Tamuccis for several years. Until this past year her attitude is absolutely awful. She doesnt care about what you seem to be going through regarding your female health. She completely shocked me with everything. Last appointment she literally was the most disrespectful and unkind person to be a Dr. that I have probably ever seen. I truly cant express how unprofessional and dissapointing I was. This was definitely a eye opener for me about how she really is so non caring . But I have took my business somewhere else, and will never be back in her office . Women our health is so important please make sure you find a good caring Dr. that will truly put your health first.

I absolutely love Dr. Tamucci. She is always very understanding and very helpful. Anytime I have ever had an issue, or a complaint, she has been right there to jump and help me fix it. She is always concerned with how I am feeling, how my prescriptions are working, etc. She is so easy to talk to and ask questions to. I highly recommend her.

I have NO idea who/what the level of understanding or expectations of the women who have left negative comments. Both my daughter and I have used Dr. Tamucci . We both had the most WONDERFUL experiences. I am a long time registered nurse, have also worked in an MD office, so I know what/how things should be. My expectations may be higher than others because of this. I can say from the receptionist to the nurses to Dr Tamucci herself there was nothing but compassion and professionalism. At the time my daughter used Dr Tamucci she was on Medicaid and was treated with nothing but the highest amount of respect and dignity, which is something I havent always seen with patients who have Medicaid. THANK YOU DR. TAMUCCI AND YOUR STAFF FOR AN AWESOME JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!

I have been meaning to post this review for months now! I started seeing Erin (first at AL Womens Specialists and now at MedHelp) for laser hair removal. I was VERY hesitant to start getting treatments, as I have a darker skin tone and had been burned before (years ago, in a different city).Initially, Erin and I traded multiple emails. Next, I went in for a consultation where she performed a test patch. I had no issues (and, amazingly, no pain either!). Erin even called me after my consultation to follow up and make sure I was doing ok.Since April, I have done 6 fully body treatments. Erin is very professional, knowledgable, and always puts me at ease. Most importantly, I have NEVER been burned or had any adverse side effects. She started off at a lower setting b/c of my concerns about being burned again, and we have slowly increased the intensity at each session.At this point, I have probably had somewhere between 75-80% reduction in hair, which is amazing given my darker skin tone and heavy hair growth. The fully body treatments are quite fast (maybe 75 minutes for EVERYWHERE), and there is hardly any pain.If you need laser hair removal, I highly recommended going to Erin here (especially if you have darker skin like me - dont chance being burned elsewhere). She is truly fantastic!!

Ashley Tamucci delivered my baby a few days ago. We’ve had a great experience with her since day 1. In delivery, my baby was facing the wrong way and had her cord wrapped around her neck in addition to having made a bowl movement in the womb, so it was a pretty complicated delivery. Dr. Tamucci was able to get her out fast and safely without further complications. If I decide to have another child, Tamucci will definitely be the doctor I call.

I love Dr. Tamucci. She takes her time and wants to know how life is going, she listens, and she makes you feel like she has your best interest at heart when making medical decisions. I trust her, which is the most important thing, and I would definitely recommend her.

It seems this doctor has went away from scientific fact based medicine and has taken up being a snake oil salesperson.

Please thoroughly interview this woman before you choose her as an ob. My experience with her is indescribable. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and couldnt have been more wrong. I was given no choice in my birthing experience. I left her office countless times confused and with so many unanswered questions. Please pick a Doctor who will take the time to discuss your cares and concerns and not someone who is only interested in pushing you out the door. I have literally met animals with a better bedside manner.

Dr. Tamucci delivered both of my babies via cesarean. I had great experiences with her through out pregnancy and delivery with her. She is the best!

I was excited when I finally found a female ob/gyn and had high expectations. I waited for what seemed like forever to speak with her, the information we went over was very confusing, and felt very much like she was just trying to push me out the door rather than really talk to me about any concerns I had. There were things I wanted to talk about and go over with her but was never given the opportunity. I literally cried when I left because I felt so disappointed with how things went. I have been trying to contact her office to talk about a prescription and have not heard anything back from anyone after leaving multiple messages. I will NEVER go back to see this woman.

Dr T has been my Dr for almost 12 years now. Delivered both my babies and I wouldn’t want any other dr doing it! She listens to me comforts me I feel sooo close to her! She is MY Dr and reading some of these reviews make me SICK because I know that’s not the dr she is!

Extremely rude staff answering the phone. Cannot believe how they talk to potential patients. RED FLAG!

She has been my doctor since 1999 and delivered my baby. She is friendly and family oriented.

When Im there, I feel like Im there forever. When I call, I never get to speak with anyone. Even if I call as soon as they open nobody answers. Either someone is lazy, or they need more staff.
