IVF Michigan & Ohio Fertility Centers- Grand Rapids

After a year at TFC with no success (including 2 failed retrievals) and no explanations to why treatments werent working, my wife and I switched to IVF-MI when they opened in Grand Rapids. Our experience was night and day. Dr. Thakore is so empathetic, intelligent, and willing to try different things to find success. She truly customized our treatment plan to us as individuals and our family-building goals. The nursing staff were also incredibly kind and supportive, and though we didnt interact much with the staff in the lab, our results speak to their excellence and hard work. We truly felt like the entire team was rooting for us to succeed--and finally, we did! After one retrieval and a fresh transfer, Im now 7 months pregnant with our first baby.

Like many others, we were patients at TFC and made a switch to IVF MI-GR, couldnt be happier! IVF MI is open and upfront about costs (no hidden fees, no surprise bills). They have super friendly front desk staff and nurses. They will move as quickly or as slowly as you want. Dr. Thakore is SO intelligent, I trust her 110% with my care. Shes matter-of-fact and honest, but still has a very kind demeanor, which is exactly what I was looking for. I also had a super great experience with Dr. Hammoud in the Bloomfield Hills office! I highly recommend IVF Michigan!

We had the pleasure of working with Dr. Shamma from the Bloomfield Hills office as well as Dr. Thakore and the Grand Rapids team. They were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. After seeking out treatment at The Fertility Center and not having a good experience, we made the switch to IVF Michigan in Grand Rapids. Thank goodness we did! Our experience here from day 1 was outstanding. We felt so listened to and heard after such a difficult journey with fertility. Dr. Hammoud is so caring and allows you to easily put your faith in him. He approaches every case with important attention to detail and truly cares about you as an individual. He brought us answers and hope for the first time in years. Not to mention we ended up having success on our first IVF frozen embryo transfer. The nurses and staff at both the Grand Rapids and Bloomfield Hills office are wonderful. Their approach feels personable and is exceptional in terms of communication and care. Run don’t walk to IVF of Michigan. We were previous patients at TFC that made the switch and I’m so thankful we did. Your doctor and care team will follow you from consult all the way to the end of treatment. Your doctor will always look at your scans and be the only person to adjust your plan of care. There are no additional fees to reserve spots for procedures. Everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff and financial coordinators are simply amazing and personable! You do not feel like a number here and your doctor will be honest up front while still maintaining good bedside manner.

Started seeing Dr Shamma this last summer after having a consult at the Fertility Center in Grand Rapids that didn’t go well. Dr Shamma at IVF Michigan got right into the details of what lead me to needing fertility assistance from the moment we first met. He was fully prepared at my consult and was able to give initial thoughts of the reasons behind my multiple miscarriages. In addition to initial thoughts I left my consult with a game plan to move forward. I tried two attempts at IVF with Dr Shamma before deciding to go a different route. Dr Shamma and his team were with me every step of the way to answer questions and encourage me. After experiencing such a horrible consult at another facility it was a breath of fresh air walking into IVF MI.

Everyone there was amazing and made us feel so welcomed. I felt heard and well taken care of every single visit. Nothing but great things to say about them!
