I do not recommend seeing Dr. Chandrasekhara.Positives: Her front office staff and Medical Assistant were friendly, professional, and kind.Negatives: Dr. Chandrasekhara was incredibly rude and sarcastic with me when I saw her for an annual well womans exam. Her office did not ask for my family health history via a paper/electronic form ahead of time, and her very kind and friendly MA forgot to ask me as well.She became very rude to me when I let her know a few items from my family health history, and she assumed I forgot to tell her MA the information, when I was never ever asked. Im not sure how I am supposed to know her offices protocol and procedures. She said Oh, youre just full of information when I ask the exact right question, in a very sarcastic tone.She also answered a phone call during our visit. That is completely fine, and I totally understand that there are emergencies that necessitate answering the phone during a clinical visit, but at least acknowledge the call and apologize for the interruption. She did none of the above.Lastly, I received lab results, and she never called me to follow up on abnormalities. Thankfully my husband is a surgeon and could explain the results to me and discuss next steps.I was very disappointed by my visit and will not be returning due to lack of professionalism and care for patients. I have never experienced such a poor bedside manner before.

Staff are prompt to help. Deducting stars because the doctor had left for an emergency delivery well before I arrived, but nobody cared to relay this information to me. They made me change and wait in the room for 30+ minutes with no communication whatsoever. I had to step out of the examination room (while in my gown, might I add) to see if anyone was coming in to check on me. Only after this was I informed that the doctor wasn’t even in the premises.This feels like poor management. Opted to see the nurse practitioner Madison, who was very efficient and quick.Edit 2: Deducted another star. Got my test results which mentioned prescription has been sent to pharmacy, it’s been 5 days and still waiting for it. I noticed a lot of people mention they never pick up calls, and can confirm this is indeed true. Have called the office numerous times and left voicemail, with no response.

I was pleasantly surprised after my visit as a lot of the reviews had me a bit worried. As a woman that isn’t pregnant, I read that Dr C didn’t spend much time or energy on non pregnant patients but I had an opposite experience. My wait wasn’t too long. Appointment was at 9 and I was seen by doctor at 9:30 which is typical. She as well as the nurses in the back were super friendly and answered all of my questions gladly. Dr C was very friendly and happy. I would probably recommend the earlier appointments because once I left my appointment the lobby was FULL

We are first time parents and our experience with Dr C ( as she is called )was amazing. Starting from the first visit till delivery, she did an amazing job to take care of us both psychologically and physically. She scolded us for putting on weight on first trimester and when she was in labor pain, she showed tremendous empathy. That’s what you want for your delivery journey, someone who can guide you through the journey with empathy and professionalism.

Doctor had left for an emergency delivery well before I arrived, but nobody cared to relay this information to me. I was super nervous about going to the doctor about my problem but Dr.Chandrasekhara made me feel super comfortable and at ease about it all. She took the time to ask the right questions and to explain everything so thoroughly to me. I felt so much better after seeing her.

Had pleasant experience talking to doctor and office staff. I was seen on my appointment time. Doctor is very patient and answered all queries regarding my concerns. Very happy. 5 stars.

Dr. Chandrasekhara is awesome! She is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. My only complaint is with the volume of patients she has, I do end up waiting over an hour. I love that she is her own boss, which is why I keep coming back.

Very Unprofessional!!I will never suggest her to anyone. I have given blood sample and got the test results. No Reviews nothing from Darshana on test results and she did not even mention when will be my next appointement.Very hard to get someone on the phone! Dr Darshna’s office doesn’t have any system at all. If you are not pregnant she is not interested in to see you in her office..I am not going back to see her ever again!!!

The worst thing about the practice is they don’t pick up the phone, they may answer after 8-10 times of dialing and even that is if lucky! Upon talking in person, the front desk says they’re busy all the time, however, whenever we’ve been there, saw sitting behind the computer doing nothing. And they take pride on doing so. If you can, find a different practice. If you’re in a dire need and they’re not picking up the phone, you can imagine your situation then! Doctor is good though.

Find someone else. In another state I had an OB that was absolutely godsent. After coming here, I never want to be pregnant again. She books too many people, it’s hard to get anyone on the phone, and they legitimately could care less about the patient or their circumstances. They also bill for claims after the fact and refuse to check on it and if you even have the coverage for the services and then refuse to make any reduction or anything. Just don’t go. You’ll be irritated after every visit, and end up owing more money. Everyone I know who has used this office has also had an unexpected C-section, and it’s more than 2-3 people in the same time period. Find someone else.

Did our first visit. The doctor and the staff were good. Doctor clearly laid out the plan and provided all the information.

Worst Doctor ever, I have seen in my life. She is a big liar and only wants to make money. Why? She only check my baby’s size with tape. All the time lies oh baby looks 2.5 lb for 2 months, and she wants me to get ultrasound which I refused, because I knew her she will bother me to get every week so she can get a chance to make money. I suddenly I got chance to switch my doctor next week they told me baby is 3.5 to 4 lb. I knew her well because she did all that rubbish with my first baby, and send me to the hospital for c-section. I never recommend dr darshna.

She is very knowledgeable and knows her job very well. I had few complications in my pregnancy which she tackled with utmost care and professionalism. She would listen to my never ending queries and reply to all patiently. I would definitely recommend her.

Absolutely wonderful! Dr. C has the best bedside manner, she has the best memory. Knows each an every one of her patients well. She has been my doctor for the past 15 years and counting on that continuing to be the case. She is the best!

Madison and Dr. Chandrasekhara and the entire staff always make me feel so comfortable, so taken care of and informed. They have been such a relief to me and my family aiding me to feel better and feel healthy! Thank you for listening to me, hearing my concerns and resolving my pain!

Went for a well womens visit, first time and highly recommended …..well I seen the PA and informed her I need relief for hot flashes cause the over the counter stuff doesn’t help and I’m sweaty and gross at work. She said they won’t give anything for that don’t hormones and the risk but if it’s really bad I can make another appointment to speak to the doctor but it’s just part of life. I told her I won’t waste her time and won’t be back. She said I can ask my PCP for anxiety meds and I told her more than once that my PCP won’t treat hot flashes and that’s why I’m here….she then offered to refer me to a new PCP ….NO. They should put it in the website so you don’t waste your yearly free visit and she gladly took my name off the list. I’m sure the doctor is nice and great if you pregnant but other issues no

Attentive and Experienced. Dr. Chandrasekhara will schedule the necessary tests to rule out and remedy your condition. She understands the sense of urgency her patients need when it comes to care. It is understandable that her practice is sought out by many.

Dr. Chandrasekhara is a very polite and knowledgeable doctor. She is one of the cool gynecologists I have met. This is my first visit with doctor chandrasekhara and her impression was best. She was listening to all my queries. She Being a gynecologist we all should know that they will be very busy so I advice all the patients to keep their notes of questions ready so you can get clarified quickly. She takes care of clinic and also delivers babies so kudos to her patience and energy levels. I read lot of comments saying she is rushing but she was not rushing at all she was answering every single question in detail. So before you go to doctor be prepared with your questions so you don’t need to waste your time and a gynecologist time. It’s just you need to be in her shoes and think how they work to satisfy every single patient. Before going to a gynecologist be prepared yourself with some patience so you don’t need to pass any negative comments for them because they really don’t deserve any negative comments. Overall she is the best!! 👏🏻👏🏻

This Dr. was a nightmare! A few years ago, I was a new pregnant mom who had no idea about anything pregnancy related and relied heavily on her. I listened to all of her advice and felt in good hands until it came closer to delivery day. She wanted me to be induced at 39 weeks and said she doesn’t let her patients go past 39 weeks very much. I didn’t advocate for myself at the time because I was unsure and new to everything. We went in and I was 0cm dilated. My body was not ready to begin pitocin at all or the induction process. I would have rather waited the full 40 weeks to see what my body would do naturally but she made it seem like this was the only way. Of course the pitocin kickstarted very bad contractions and my water broke, but I was still barely dilated. My baby’s heart rate began to drop rapidly and they had to take me back to do an emergency c-section. It was the most horrific experience of my life. For my second pregnancy, I found a new dr who is VBAC friendly and had the best experience. My new doctor showed me that there are WAY better OBGYN’s out there. I cannot stress enough to go find someone else especially if pregnant. The hospital she uses has a pretty high c-section rate.Also just like everyone else says, the customer service SUCKS. If you have any questions you won’t hear from them. Voicemail box has been full for years. They also mixed up my blood tests one time with another patient’s and it was all very unprofessional. Just avoid this office.

Had my first visit with Gateway yesterday, and the doctor was great. She got me the tests I needed immediately and listened to my concerns

I had her as my OB-GYN twice, the doctor is good, experienced most of all patient, appt are easy to get.The wait times at her office are long but considering that she may get pulled into emergency delivery anytime I would give the office a pass on that.

Not good! She will not understand patient concerns and she will always say it’s normal. Too munch wait time in every visit (minimum 1 hr) and she is always in rush because of too many appointments.1. Too much waiting time2. Missing bloodwork Samples3. Lack of understanding patient problem

Doctor is Awesome and 5 star. Darshana spends time with us and explain everything in detail. Thank you madam!! There is lot to improve on the calling part. Either option 0 or 1 will work but not both. Also sending test results should be fast.

I will never suggest her to anyone!!!Very hard to get someone on the phone! Dr Darshna’s office doesn’t have any system at all. She said she is not here delivering a baby. After 5 minutes walking out my room doctor was standing there with laptop coming out from one of the pregnant patients room. I am not going back to see her ever again!!!

Dr. Chandrasekharas service is by far the best Ive ever experienced. The office staff recently experienced changes and Im glad to see Ms. Sherry in charge. Unfortunately, the younger ladies dont keep up with records well and follow-ups are required for paperwork and additional payments needed. They are also aloof and not focused on customer service as they should be.

I called to ask if they took my insurance to have the dr check my private area for a concern I had, and the lady who answered, started laughing at me, yes laughing at me on the phone saying “yeah no we don’t accept that insurance and kept laughing and hung up on me. I was so embarrassed and disgusted that someone would respond that way. This was urgent for me and I was in a lot of pain especially that day. She could have recommended another facility or dr with my insurance but instead she chose to dismiss me and act inappropriately.

I had gestational diabetes and cholesterolsis of pregnancy, darshana has done normal delivery to me that is highly appreciated and recommended to others. but customer service very bad they will not respond to calls most of the time when I called to them they were not answering to my calls and even voice mail also full not able to sent voice mall. Except customer service overall good Experience

I recently had an OBGYN visit with Dr. Chandrasekhara and I must say it was an incredibly positive experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long before being called in for my appointment.Dr. Chandrasekhara was not only knowledgeable but also compassionate. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions in a thorough and understanding manner. Her professionalism combined with her warm demeanor instantly put me at ease, making it easy for me to discuss even the most sensitive topics. I definitely would recommend Dr. Chandrasekhara to anyone seeking women’s healthcare services.

This used to be a great place to go to, but no one ever answers anymore so you cant get through when and you need is a prescription refill. So be prepared to be without meds.

Dr. Darshna is one of the most qualified doctors in her field. She is extremely knowledgeable and delivered my baby effortlessly. Throughout my pregnancy she clearly explained to me every step of way and had no surprises. Her staff - Admin, Billing and Nurses are absolutely a pleasure to deal with. So well trained by Dr. Darshna and really make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Darshna takes personal interest in each and every patient which makes a difference. I highly recommend her as an OBGYN for all women. Great doctor with a superb team.👍👍👍👍👍

This office will give you a painful experience - Very unprofessional - My wifes blood sample were sent to a lab by this office which do not have contract with my insurance and now I have to pay. They are not patient friendly or not available on call.

They never answer the phone. Literally I spend all my lunch break and if I get lucky they answer on the tenth call and leave me on hold.I was 22 at the time and I just started having intercourse.The doctor never communicated with me the lab results I basically had to asked her about the lab results just before the biopsy she performed on me. She told me “if that is what it says then it means that” if I did not bring the lab results she would have never communicated anything to me, and what is more laughable is the fact that I was just told that I needed a biopsy without further explanation.I asked the doctor about (because it was something that came out in the lab results she did not explain to me)HPV and if I would be able to transmit it all my life and she said “yes as long as you keep your current partner everything should be fine” I asked if there was treatment and she just told me “no”.I transferred to a new gynecologist because I wanted to know more about HPV and how to live with it because I was dying with worry about the infection.I talked with the new gynecologist and he explained HPV to me with even drawings. He also explained to me that I won’t be able to transmit it all my life but until my immune system gets rid of it because it is like a cold that leaves your body when your immune system gets rid of it. It is an infection that your body gets rid of no something to worry about in a lifetime like Doctor Darshna made me believe. I also asked my new gynecologist about the active and inactive virus state that Darshna told me it could get active again anytime but my new gynecologist told me that that would just happen if I get the virus again from someone that has it. I cried a lot when I found out that is just a regular infection that won’t stay in my body and be transmissible for a lifetime. I cried so much because it took me a year to decide to ask again about HPV. I got depressed and I had to go to therapy and the therapist made me feel confident of getting more information about HPV, but it was so hard to get an appointment with Darshna because they do not answer the phone, so I transferred care to another gynecologist that was more around the area I work. I never thought I was going to find different information about HPV I always follow what any doctor says because they are the medical professionals I am not. I am happy that I got a second opinion without really wanting it. The new gynecologist also told me that when someone as young as me has HPV, he does not do any biopsy because I am too young and normally my immune system should be able to fight it as a cold.I am saying this because I was a virgin literally like 2 months before I got the biopsy done, and the biopsy procedure was traumatic and it hurt way too much. I cried a lot after the procedure because it hurt more than a regular period.I have heard now that those unnecessary procedures are sometimes done so they can get money from the insurance company.After the biopsy I did not receive a call about the results. I had to call several times to know that I did not have cancer or needed any medication.I understand that Doctor Darshna and her staff are busy, but I feel that as a doctor she should be better at delivering lab results and information about any condition the patient has.

The staff is very nice and always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Dr. C is awesome too! But the wait time is horrible. I had an appointment for 4:15p, arrived at 3:55p like they ask and did not see the doctor until 5:30p. The staff had already left for the day so I had no one to talk to make a follow up appointment. It’s always been this way and something has to change. Also the waiting room is way too small and no way to social distance now that we have an uptick in Covid cases.

I always have pleasant visit every time I go to Dr. Chandrasekhara. She always make you feel calm and comfortable. Giving you the best medical advise . Her staffs are very warm and kind too.

Dr Chandrasekharra is one of the most professional and one of the most precise and caring doctor I’ve ever had worked with. She had done a surgery for me. I’ve received a lot of caring and nothing but love from her! She is definitely dedicated to her job, wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Her staff are amazing as well!

I had been seeing Dr. Darshna Chandrasekhara for 10 years. Its very challenging to schedule appointments, hardly anyone answers the phone. Voicemail boxes are constantly full. Also excessive wait times 45 minutes past appointment time.Dr has way too many patients that shes lacking good customer service. Office is focused on quantity over quality!!!The level of service has significantly declined. Dr. C seems more focused on completing her tasks than addressing my concerns and needs in a 5 minute visit. I did not feel heard or supported during my recent visits. I would not recommend this office to anyone as the Dr lacks the necessary compassion and understanding for patients.Stay Away!!!

I went to Dr. Chandrasekharan as a first-time mother and my experience was horrible. First the nurse struggled to put a common precondition into their system and was only able to do it after I spelled it out. When the doctor came in, she gave a well-rehearsed introduction of herself and a bunch of other information which was difficult for me to process all at once. No brochure or other resources were provided. She was dismissive towards my concerns and made me feel like I was just complaining too much. No measurements were taken during my ultrasound and the whole experience was very rushed. Later, I came to know of a condition that I have from my current doctor which she did not even bother looking for. The place itself looks more like a laundromat than a doctor’s office. Even the office staff is not professional, they had ordered some tests for me but did not even bother to give my insurance information to them although I provided them with everything. When I asked them about it after getting a huge bill from the lab, they just reluctantly said you give it to them. And their billing office hardly picks up phone! The experience of pregnancy itself is filled with so many uncertainties and on top of that if your doctor is like that it just becomes a traumatic experience. If I had not moved to another doctor, I would never have known that this is not how patients are treated everywhere! I never recommend this doctor for any pregnant women.

Love dr. Chandrasekhara, I wouldn’t changed her for anything. I’ve moved cities & still go out of my way to keep her. She’s given me a great experience, delivered my baby & it means a lot to me when you have a dr that cares & has good communication!

This was my first visit after my former OB left the field of obstetrics, and Dr. Chandrasekhara’s staff was all kind and she was so wonderful. She took time to listen to concerns and provided immediate recommendations and support. She is easy to talk to and funny! I’m really glad I was referred to her.

Ive been seeing Dr. C for over 5 years and never had an issue with her or the staff. They are super welcoming and make me feel good with my decision to continue coming to her office. I had serious menstrual problems that were causing me to have borderline anemia, which I was considering having a hysterectomy. She told me all the options I had and discuss them with me throughly. I was at ease hearing her explain my options I could try that did not include a hysterectomy. I am not longer anemic and very thankful to Dr. C.

The doctor is very good and listens to all your concerns carefully and patiently and gives u very good advices.Recently she delivered my baby, everything went smoothly.

I love Dr.Chandrasekhar she was so kind and we even had a laugh or two. She made me feel comfortable and like I was talking with an old friend. I was happy to become a new patient of hers because I know she truly cares.

Dr. Chandra Sekhara doesn’t pay attention to all your concerns and is always in a rush. Heavy wait times, stinky and unmaintained restrooms, congested and tiny sitting area, unfriendly and unprofessional front desk. The phone line always reaches voicemail, and the portal is only one way and unmonitored. Appointments are canceled automatically without your consent sometimes and without any prior notice. There is no coordination between the staff and the doctor. Don’t go by positive reviews and blindly book appointments like we did. Visit the place in person. Good luck.

HORRIBLE Doctor!!! STAY AWAY from her. dont go to her. so many red flags. I wish we have read these reviews before selecting her as our doctor.She is running unnecessary test without patients knowledge. We found out about some test after three and half month later when we received one surprised bill from lab. When we inquire about it, thats when she started giving excuses about lab havent send them reports. But as being doctor, she never followed up with lab that where is results. We caught her telling lie as well because we contacted lab and lab said they provided result within 4 days. and doctor never read reports until we told them after three and half month.She will purposely over booked. So you will have to wait for hour or hour and half just to see her. even if you have appointment. And when its your turn, she will try to wrap up as fast as she can so that she can go to next patient. Thats how she is making money by seeing lots of patients in a day. And because of these she dont have time to read your blood reports.she will at least take 4-5 days to read your report after lab send it. and she have lied to our face saying lab is taking long time. but infect all the time lab have send it right next day. We can tell lab have send it based on dat and time stamp on reports.so worst doctor ever. just do some research before selecting her as your doctor.

I recently visited a doctors office and was extremely disappointed with the level of care provided by the nurses. As a pregnant patient, I expected to be treated with empathy and understanding, but instead, I was met with cold and indifferent attitudes. The nurses seemed more focused on completing their tasks than addressing my concerns and needs. I did not feel heard or supported during my visit, and it left a negative impression on my overall experience at the doctors office. I would not recommend this office to any expectant mothers as the staff lacks the necessary compassion and understanding for pregnant patients.

Dr. Chandrasekhara is great. She’s kind and listens. The patient portal is also easy to use. Her staff always reaches out immediately when I send a message or request an appointment. My experience here has always been great since 2021.

As per my personal experience, Treatment at Dr.Darshana Chandrasekhara is more worthy a 5 star rating definitely. In our case she made the normal delivery for 8 lbs baby. Dr Darshana is so polite, very responsive and courteous towards her patients. She will also patiently answer all the questions of her patients. I will definitely recommend Dr Darshana for the pregnant women.

Editing my review - This is not about the doctor, office staff please make sure you sent the insurance information of the patient, I got a bill close to $2000 and when I called lab they said doctor office didn’t sent insurance information. Other than that experienced and knowledgeable doctor, great service!

Dr. Chanrasekhara is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable. Her staff is also welcoming and you never feel not welcomed. I highly recommend her.

As of right now the surgery went well but I am still experiencing pain that she is neglecting. The usual recovery time is 4-6 weeks for an abdominal vasectomy and regardless of whatever pain, she is wanting to send me back to work after 2 1/2 weeks of recovery. I expressed to her that my job is heavy duty work, which requires me to lift more than 45lbs. She advised me that she is refusing to give me an extra 2 weeks of recovery because she will “lose her license.” I am highly disappointed with the inconsiderate doctor that I was recommended for my surgery. I do not recommend her at all, which explains the multiple bad reviews that she has received so far. She is unprofessional and is quick to catch an attitude when expressing my concerns. If I could give her 0 stars, I would give her.0 stars.

I visited this place a while back. All was good on the 1st visit. When I came back for the ultrasound results the dr. gave me a run through of my results and the 2 procedures that it would take in office, to resolve my problems. Covid happened and I never had the procedures done. Once, I was able to return, the dr. checked me with her hands and said my condition had worsened (no new ultrasound was ordered) and she would no longer be able to perform my procedures in office. It would have to take place in a hospital setting and out of pocket would be close to $10,000. I never had the procedures done. Im writing this now because recently, I went to get a new ultrasound only to find out that I never had what the doctor said I had, according to previous test results in my file. So, I would have had and paid for a procedure that was totally unnecessary. The dr does rush, makes you feel like another number on the books and not important. Maybe my results were confused with someone elses during the rush. It is very hard to get to someone on the phone. I had to go up in person to find out how much I owed. I had a balance due before the office shut down to covid. Office staff is very friendly.

Dr. Chandrasekhara had poor bedside manner and lacked empathy. She seemed to be in a rush to get out of my room and get to other patients. She did not have a supportive attitude. She barely looked at me during the appointment, and kept trying to finish her notes/paperwork.Also, this office rarely picks up the phone and their inbox was full for almost a week. I mustve called at least 6 times till I actually spoke to someone.

I recently started seeing Dr Chandrasekhara because my previous OBGYN wouldn’t listen to be me. An my very first appointment Dr Chandrasekhara sat there a listen to me an asked me what I wanted to do with my body. I appreciate her an her staff, the staff is nice and friendly and since it’s a private office it’s not feeling like your being rushed like cattle.I would definitely recommend you come an visit this Doctor an see is the right fight for you.

Dr. C. is very thorough and transparent and quick to act. She is very professional and sensitive to her patients concerns. I have been a patient of hers for over 8 years and have had nothing but the best care in my woman wellness.

Dr Darshana needs to hire some more staff every time when we call no one picks up the phone last week I tried to called more than 4 times from morning 8 am to 4pm but no one answered and left voicemail in the morning and got call back next day.Every time you have to wait an hour in the waiting room then she comes. I need to change my dr now.I come in my lunch time and every time end up staying more than an hour so losing my one hour pay.I am not going to recommend to anyone

Probably the best ob/gyn Ive been too. The entire staff is amazing! She is honest and to the point, but it never feels like she is rushing me through a visit. She is extremely non-judgmental and makes you feel comfortable.

Dr. Chandrasekhara was straight forward did not second guess whether surgery would be best for my situation. The only complaint is someone from office answering the phone and receiving a cal back. Otherwise, I look forward to getting the surgery done.

Wait time was long. But after meeting her, I felt she was worth the wait. She was friendly, answered all questions, went over my entire pregnancy plan. She even performed the ultrasound herself(which is not common at other big practices). The staff was also very friendly and competent. Front desk, nurses, labs, all made me feel at ease and were very professional. Id say from experience at other Dr offices long wait times are common. Especially if the Dr has pregnant patients going into labor all the time. I feel like I can fully trust her from 1 encounter so far for my 2nd pregnancy. I used macarthur medical for my 1st and comparing the 2, Id prefer this smaller practice. The personal attention was appreciated and being able to get ultrasound and blood work done at the same office as doctor makes it all worth it to me.

This doctor needs to hire more office staff. I waited for over one hour on the examination room and no one provided me with a gown to change. When the doctor walked in, she looked confused as to why I was still fully dressed. After she provided me with a gown, she dissapered forever. Hire more personnel to help out/assist your patients.

Dr.Darshana is very caring and made me really comfortable. She listens to you and answers to all your doubts and concerns which is really important. She also gives knowledge on how to take care and explains the Dos and Dont. Also the entire team is very kind and helpful.

I have been visiting Dr. Darshana since September 2022 in my pregnancy and so far the experience is good. She guided us very well and did only required tests throughout the pregnancy. She answers all our questions even the smallest and clarifies any doubts.No larger wait time, except for sometimes when she has to go for urgent deliveries.I got admitted for planned C- section and it was carried put by Darshana. And it went very well.I had no pain throughout the recovery period and recovery was really well.

Front desk staff needs to work on being more attentive and friendly. Doctor is sometimes running behind and wait per appointment can be long. Restroom was not clean this morning and there wasn’t any toilet paper. Staff needs to check this and make sure the office is ready to start the day.

Most unprofessional doctor’s office I have ever seen in my life. I have completed 2 appointments there and the doctor was never on time. I told them I work on hourly basis project and need to go back to work on time but they ignored. Be prepare to wait for 1+ hour every time you go also same excuse by doctor that she was doing emergency operation. they literally don’t respect others time at all. They made so many mistakes with billing ( over charged) also lied to us about self pay prices. They never receives call if you have any emergency. Believe me, I call them 15+ times for some questions and they never picked up my call or answer to my voicemail request. Please go somewhere else who treats you better and respects your time.

This was my first visit with Dr Chandrasekhara. I did not feel rushed when I was in the room with her, her staff was very friendly and certainly aimed to ease any tension or unease I felt (cuz who likes going to the doctor) and everyone on her staff (including her) walked me through every step of each process. I felt heard and not judged for my questions and concerns.

Doctor C is awesome and her staff as well, she removed fibroids 2 times and got me in real fast and now I am seeing her for my first pregnancy. She answers all the questions I have. I recommend going to her!

I visited Dr Darshna on last month . She just asked me about my health and ordered for blood and US tests . I got the bill for the blood tests , it was $1405 ( out of pocket ).Today i got another bill for her consultation of total $ 325. I had to pay $132 for the consultation too. I haven’t done US . Now iam scared to do that as well .

If zero stars were possible, I would go for that. The office did not bother to verify my insurance until 15 minutes after my surgical procedure was supposed to begin. Long, long story short, I had to find another doctor. Three months later I received a bill from an outside agency for the office visit. After many attempts to get someone to even speak to me on the phone, I had to pay the bill to avoid collections. The staff could have fixed this. It would have been so easy. Instead, they disregarded me as a patient and as a person. I would never, ever recommend this this office to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE! I originally had a good review for this doctor’s office. But it is unfortunate for Dr. Chandrashekara that she has hired a billing “manager” Sherri Wilson who will not call you or do her job correctly but will let you go to collections for her mistakes. There are so many good doctors in Dallas. This office isn’t worth the hassle and this is why —-I went to this office in August 2018 and continued to go for a year even with my pregnancy and not once did they say I had a balance on my account. Now two years later the front office is calling me because they billed my OLD insurance for an office visit in 2018. BUT my labs done in office the same day were billed to my new insurance. THEN Elizabeth the front desk admin claims I didn’t present my new insurance to them. Doesn’t make sense to me that two claims from the same day were billed different, one being my new insurance. So how did they get the information if I didn’t present it? After I received a statement of “my” balance a year and nine months after my appointment. I called a few times a week this summer and sent an email directly to Sherri. Not ONE person called me or responded to my email until last week, October 2020. Now that it is past their 2 year window it is my responsibility? When talking to Elizabeth about the issue she threatened to send me to collections. It’s not her job to do billing but did not let me talk to the person who does. Nor has Sherri called me back regarding my account. I’ve been trying to get in contact to settle account since this and still Nooooo response. They won’t even answer the main line if they know your number.Read the reviews on this office. They are not wrong. Go somewhere else where a billing manager is capable of doing her job and admitting when she has made a mistake and will communicate with you regarding your account.

My wife regularly visit her and whenever she is back she has some or the other complaint about the doctor.Doc will keep her in waiting for hrs even after taking prior appointment. This happen even when there are no patients. She has been chasing her for weeks for appointment dropped several voice note but no response.

First of all! They never answer the phone and dont even bother trying to leave a voicemail! Most of the time the voicemail is full anyways! This was my last time visiting . Ive been seeing this dr for the past few years and every time i have a visit i arrive early and still have to wait to see her for a full hour. I asked whats taking so long and the nurses say she had an emergency labor. I find it very convienent thats she just happens to have an emergency every time i have an appt. then the nurse had the audacity to get an attitude with me when i say i have to leave because i have to go to work. I cant just be sitting there waiting to be seen when i have a job to go to. Whats the point in making an appt if im going to wait for over an hour. Then whenever the dr does come i feel like shes in a rush and i never get the chance to ask all of the questions i have. Its ridiculous. Zero stars!

Be careful about this doctor and her staff. Because of her carelessness my wife was in dying situation post delivery at hospital, dr Darshana did well at the time delivery but post delivery caring was not at all good, during pregnancy she was literally forced us to conduct all sort irrelevant test which was not necessary. If don’t do that she will make you scared , you will never have peace of mind. We had xterm bad experience multiple visit and had to go for a 2nd opinion without any complexity in pregnancy.

Healthcare Associates really knows how to hire the best of the best when it comes to doctors, and thats why we go to them first for any medical needs that pop up. They also make the dreaded annual exam a laugh to look forward to! No exception, Dr. Darshna is so obviously smart as they come, yet so down-to-earth, real, friendly and even fun to work with. Plus, I like how she is a shining example of good health herself that we can all look up to.It is evident how much she loves her work and genuinely cares for her clients. She will patiently answer every question and is full of great suggestions, plus she knows how to make you relax over the inconsequential. Both she and her staff always make me feel so welcome and comfortable. A great team.I really love the sweet lady who always draws blood for me as she did this October 3rd for my annual. My experiences with Dr. C have always been great. She has a great personality, is very personable, and is very straight with you about all things. She puts you at ease and is patient with all of your questions. My husband and I are pregnant with our first child and she is a well of knowledge. We feel very fortunate to have her as our OB-GYN.

Extremely Un-professional doctor, Very rude staff, if you need to get any information or any report, they will take ages to provide it. Whenever I visit the doctor, I waited for at least 1.5 hours (every visit), at times 2.5 hours as well. One time I had to go for my blood test, I reached there at 3.45 pm, my appointment was at 4:00 pm. I was able to see the doctor at 6:15pm and then she bluntly said that the Lab is closed now and come some other time for the blood test. She never apologized for such long wait time. Doctor and her staff will give you very hard time to provide your own reports. Doesn’t take accountability at all. Unfortunately I had go for a D&C and she said that she has send the chromosome for the lab test, when asked for the results, she was manipulating the things for 1.5 months. And the finally said that there were not enough tissues for the test, when I asked her to provide the report, she said that there is no report for this lab test. She lied a lot of time right in front of me. She prescribed the medicines to induce my miscarriage however it didn’t work and I had to admit in Emergency. There she said that she never prescribed me the medicines. I was shocked to hear this. Going to this doctor, was the worst decision ever, I have not seen such doctor in my life. If you are upset or crying because of medical condition, she starts laughing. Whenever you call in the office, even if nurse/staff is available on the seat, won’t pick up the call and will return your call after 2-4 days.

I went to the doctor in a dire situation and she acted prompt in assessing the problem and acted upon it quick enough to mitigate the risk of severe complications. She is cordial and patient, answers all the queries. The staff is friendly and efficient.

My baby was delivered at 9 AM CT. Doctor was around us for ~1hr while an operation was done. Yes it will be a delay for expecting mothers at the doctors clinic.Please dont think about the wait at the clinic. Probably some one is delivering a baby and its a natural delay out of control of a doctor.

Like many other one star reviews, I had the same bad experience. I agree with the extreme long wait time, Drs arrogance, unfair and inaccurate billings and staffs medical negligence. I strongly recommend staying away from this OBGYN office.My initial impression of Dr. Darshna and their staff were extremely professional when she provided a very thorough consultation on my first visit. I went along with all the tests she recommended and transferred my care to her. However, the bill for those tests and her consultation came out to be ridiculously high later. And, their professionalism and level of medical service started to go down every visit.After my first blood test, Dr. told me that I wasnt ovulating. She wanted to put me on medication, which is known to have risky side effects. If I still didnt conceive with the medication in 3-6 months, she’d refer me to an infertility specialist. When I questioned her about the medication after speaking to a pharmacist family member, she responded I am the Doctor. I felt intimidated and scared that I had offended her by asking a question regarding my health.​Instead of taking the medication, I wanted to redo the test for ovulation in the following months and try home testing since I had never tried it. She kept discouraging home tests by why would you want to waste money on home tests when they are not even accurate. I went on with the home test and their lab tests again in the following months to make sure that I am not infertile. The results kept coming back positive showing I am ovulating and normal.Dr. also kept pushing hysteroscopy and other operations to remove my fibroid and check for endometriosis. My husband and I really didnt want surgery. I asked for another consultation to explore other options. That 20 min talk with the Dr. (no exam or test involved) cost me over $400 after insurance. I asked their billing why the bill is so high and how the billing works, she answered it is whatever the Dr. decides after the consultation. I reluctantly scheduled the surgery with many questions unanswered and great fear while continuing with my blood tests every month.In the crucial month to prove that my first test was faulty, they lost my blood sample. After many calls and VM inquiring about the result, they finally called me back apologizing that the person who drew my blood miss labeled it and the lab lost it, literally making an excuse of their medical negligence saying you know she is young. I know it sucks but you have to do the test again in 2 months. Then, later, they called me back saying the lab found my sample and the result is now posted, which turned out to be the repost of the previous month. That is when I absolutely lost my trust and started looking for another OBGYN.My new OBGYN said they repeated unnecessary tests each month regarding my ovulation. Also he told me that hysteroscopy isnt recommended for my condition. Within two months of switching my care to the new doctor, I conceived naturally.If I’d stayed with Dr. Darshna, Id have taken the high risk side effect medication and gone through an unnecessary operation. Then possibly referred to an infertility specialist. One of the first things Dr. Darshna asked me, “you have insurance, right?” Then all this stressful experience began. There was a time I got billed for a nurse visit when I only picked up a lab requisition from the front. Even after they admitted it was their mistake, it wasn’t removed from my bill until I kept calling them several times to remind them to remove it. After months of discontinuing my care with them, I got a bill from them again for the difference on my 1st visit, which I paid upfront. It seemed like their office’s true interest was milking the patients through their insurance instead of taking care of their health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chandrasekhara for several years now and I love her compassion her attentiveness to each and every one of my concerns. I know she has other patients in the office but treats me as if I am the only one there. She doesn’t rush you out like I have experienced with other doctors. I highly recommend her for obstetrics and gynecologic needs.

Better think thrice before going here. I dont have a concern about the doctor. But we observed from our bills that she charged twice with the same code. If I enquire about it, I didnt get proper response from billing department. They said This is how it is and we will charge like this only. Finally as a patient we end up paying high really.

First of all, I love Dr. Chandrashekara. She is very good at her job and very personable. The reason I will never be going back to see her is because of her office. It is SO incredibly unorganized. I’ve never waited less than an hour and a half just to be taken back from the waiting room to the exam room. They NEVER have the correct test results and if they do, they wait until you call in to get them. I had a nurse call me at 4:13 and left me a voicemail telling me she had my test results and when I called back at 4:16 (because I was at work) the phones had rolled over for the day and said no one could be reached until the following morning leaving me on pins and needles.She’s constantly overbooked and then occasionally when you do get an appointment she’ll have an emergency surgery and will have to reschedule you which could be another month out.

She has no knowledge. with her the waiting time is always more then 1 hour. for scheduled c-section she was not able to come on time. she works based on the knowledge you have. she writes something in her notes and will tell you something else. I was with her on my last pregnancy for 2 months and then i changed my doctor because of her incapabilitys. Instead of addressing the issues she had she billed me for wrong reasons. She is a trap once gone you are gone forever.

Decent Dr. Horrible payment system. I absolutely hate how I constantly get told I haven’t paid enough when I have, I get told I overpaid by 200$, and that it is almost impossible to get a hold of the office over the phone. I really hate coming here because I never know how much money it is going to be because it is constantly changing and never correct.

It was my first visit with Dr.Darshna and she made me feel so comfortable before proceeding with the procedures and explained the issues clearly and provided the solution for the same. She also responded politely whatever doubts I asked .

Worst staff- nurses and receptionists! They never answer your phone calls and they are not WELCOMING at all.. no follow ups, neither polite nor social. The nurses don’t have a minimum medical knowledge. The doctor is decent but she was not confident in performing ECV which is external cephalic version as my baby was BREECH. They postponed my hospital admit date at MCLC like 3times and admitted me when I started getting contractions (39W 6days) even though the doctor was aware that ECV needs to be performed at about 39W. I was trying to utilize every chance to go for natural delivery but they made me push to C section till the end! If the nurse would have understood what ECV means and if the doctor would support my decision it would have been a smooth journey! I was panicking during my last 10days before delivery due to this painful process and lack of miscommunication. I would rather prefer a different doctor/hospital.. always try to go for a couple of opinions before deciding on your OB/GN. This is very important as you need to deal with them for 10months!Also, our first appointment was on Dec 31st and we were completely unaware about insurance and it’s their responsibility to let us know about being charged for the calendar year. They didn’t say anything and billed us $3700 just for that day being the last day of the year.Go to that doctor if you want to get C section done! She is good at it! I didn’t receive good support for ECV coz that was the only chance for natural delivery. Also they failed me for the first diabetic test and I had to get the second test done and I passed. I never had a history of diabetes in my family. Hope my review helps!

My first encounter with Dr. Chandrasekhara was very pleasant and she made me feel very comfortable during my visit with her. I will most definitely continue my services with her as a patient. Not often do you find physicians that connect with you on the first visit.

This is probably one of the worst doctors office I have ever been! I sometimes want to come back and tell the doctor in person all the things that went wrong but honestly is not worth my time. The one that matters the most is the poor patient relationship she sets with the patient. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE, SPEACIALLY IF YOUR PREGNANCY IS CONSIDER HIGH RISK.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chandrasekhara for 10+ years. I have seen other ob/gyns before and they do not compare to Dr. C. She is kind, patient, and listens and will go the extra mile to help you. She has been the same for all of these years. She supports and cares about you as a patient and a person and those are important qualities I look for in a Dr. Some appointments I get called back quickly, some there is a wait. I do not mind it as my time with the Dr. is extremely valuable. Every office is going to be busy and every office will have wait times and issues that arise. Those are unavoidable and everyone is human. I highly recommend Dr. C to every woman.

Terrible. I initially thought reviews maybe were just spam or something. Nope. I had an appt. as a new patient. Little did the receptionist know-I work in insurance. Tried getting me to pay money I didn’t have to! I have supplement insurance. They just want your money. Wasted my time when I needed help.

Yesterday 02/22/23 was my 1st visit. Dr is very professional. Knowledgeable and super nice. The MAs were also super attentive and friendly. I’m so glad I switched over to them bc the place I was bfre was just not IT. Smh.

I generally don’t tell health care providers that I am a nurse so they will explain the situation in great detail and even though I did reveal my prior experience I still received the detailed explanation that I appreciate.

VERY WORSTTTT Doctor and Office people. PLS Don’t goWorst Experience. Irresponsible doctor and irresponsible Nurse and Irresponsible reception people. You won’t get any solution. You need to call 1000 times for prescription and they never comes back. Plssss Avoid this doctor at any cost. There are so many things happened which I could not write elaborately.

If you’re looking for a gyno who completes your annual pap smear quickly, Dr. C is great. I came in annually for several years, and other than the sometimes hour-long wait, I was happy with her. However, if you are looking for someone who will prioritize you and your baby throughout your pregnancy, I suggest you see someone else.At 4 weeks along, we had an appointment. She quickly gave us a list of what to do/not to do, gave us some prenatals and recommended calcium supplements, ran some blood work and scheduled us for a sonogram at almost 6 weeks. At the first sonogram, she couldn’t find the heartbeat, but assured us that we were probably just a little off on the conception date. The office system network was completely down that day, so we were told that someone would contact us about making an appointment. The appointment was scheduled for the following week, and we were then re-scheduled 3 times in a row, and without any priority to get us in quickly each time. As a result, Dr. C. and her staff were unable to get me in until I was at 10 weeks. I understand that Dr. C. was needed for surgery, and then had some kind of family emergency, however there were not appropriate measures in place to make sure her patients were taken care of each time she was absent. It seems that Dr. C. has too many patients to ensure that each patient receives the appropriate care & attention necessary. The Dr. who filled in for Dr. C. at 10 weeks couldn’t find the heartbeat, told us it didn’t look good but it could just be developing slower, and told us that we should just come back the next week. Obviously this was very upsetting, as we were given no answers. The next day I logged into my patient portal to find that her staff had left a note on my file for that appointment visit: “MISCARRIAGE”. At this point I was on my way into a more trusted physician’s care, who prioritized us and scheduled us for the next day. At this sonogram appointment we received heartbreaking news but clear answers. Our baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks, but because we were re-scheduled 3 times, we had no idea anything was wrong until 10 weeks. Had we known earlier, the loss certainly would not have been so painful.I don’t think Dr. C. is a bad doctor, however I believe there is a serious issue that needs to be resolved in making sure that each patient is prioritized and taken care of, so that hopefully someone else doesn’t have the same experience.

Dr. Darshana Chandrasekhara is a “Liar” & “Murderer” we lost our first baby due to her medical negligence & Arrogance.Never trust in her words, we blindly believed in her and paid the hefty price.No parent should experience the trauma we have gone through due to her megalomaniac attitude.she is so witty all she cares about your money not about your health problems & emotions.One decision I regret in my entire life is taking her appointment.Please Please stay away from her !!

Dr. Chan has great bedside manner, the ease of making an appointment and not waiting long periods of times to make appointments is great!

She has been my OB for the past 8 years! Every time I see her for checkups my fears just melt away! She is genuinely a great doctor. It is rare to find a doctor that you 150% trust and believe in. I am blessed to have her as my doc! Thanks Dr. C!!

I always wonder how she was so patience and smiling , she is so positive, because of Dr Dharshana we had a pleasant pregnancy journey. Though It was our first child I was so confident about my labor. I highly recommend Dr Dharshana for who all planning to have a baby.

The front desk staff are not good and dont follow process promptly. Your always made to wait how correctly you check in. Not sure if they wont check in our details to lab or if the lab staff wont respond. Both blame the other and finally we got the starve n faint for the glucose test. And never a courtesy that ots their mistake. You got to stay more than 2 hours for anything you get in here. The doctor is really good,takes time to answer all questions, makes sure she addresses them before leaving.

She is very very easy to talk to, and the staff is really friendly. She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I am really glad I chose to Gateway OB/GYN and will definitely continue to go there.

Im so surprised to see negative reviews. Dr. C has been nothing short of awesome! She listens, relates and has answers to my most sensitive questions. She is a true professional and the 1st OB/GYN Ive ever felt 100% comfortable with. I was referred to her by 2 different co-workers who couldnt stop singing her praises. I would highly recommend to my friends/family.

I love my doctor. Dr. C. is the best! She is so knowledgeable of her profession. She always took her time with me and not just with the examinations but taking time to give feedback about the examinations, making surenI understood everything. When there is a problem, she gives her best medical advice. I an very comfortable with Dr. C and trust her to give the best care always.Ive been with her for 3 months now and she performed surgery on me in the 2nd month. I have no problems and the surgery was an absolute success. All I can say is in all of my 37 years of having several Gyn doctors, she is the best Gyn doctor Ive every had. I dont know about yours but my Gyn doctor is rocks!

Im not sure why dr c has had some bad reviews because I had a great experience with her throughout my whole pregnancy. She seemed very knowledgeable, was very informative, and always took the time to answer any questions I had. From the beginning we planned a normal vaginal delivery and I have no complaints because everything went exactly as planned. The only thing I could agree with about the other reviews is there was a couple of times that I had to wait a little bit at my appointment but no longer than 30-40 mins which I feel can happen at any dr. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr C. was the first OB/GYN I have had an in depth check up with since the birth of my son nearly 8 years ago! I hated going to the gyno! Not only was she pleasant, charming and welcoming, but she was incredibly sincere when listening to my concerns. I feel she took every concern very seriously and asked a serious of questions I would have never thought to bring up (and I do my research). I highly recommend her- but be patient if she has to go deliver a baby. Remember that new little lives are more important than our petty schedules. :-)

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! This is my first pregnancy and I had the worst experience at this office! They are unorganized I felt rushed and they did not take me serious! They lied to me and cost me too much money! They do not care about you they just want your money! I am 20 weeks and have to find a new doctor because of how unorganized they were!!

Hi,I liked the doctor as she handled my case with so planned way. In my first pregnancy I had so many complications like hormone imbalances, gestation diabetics, less fluid at the last months. She handled my case with well planned manner like scheduling weekly appointment at the end of delivery and focusing on my sugar levels and weight. Actually I delivered my baby after a span of 12 years gap. I think if I would have gone to other Doctor they would have told me it is complicated at this age to give birth to a baby. But, her way of talking to us is so sweet and never make us tense or make us afraid of the situations. I am so happy by gods grace and of course the dr darshana Chandrasekhar I delivered a healthy baby.

Dr C is rare gem. She’s compassionate, kind, thorough always taking her time to address all your concerns. Her exams are very vigorous in making sure that she exhausts every avenue of your health. Over a decade together, there’s no one I trust more.

This is was the First Visit with my Wife. Dr. Darshna was superb and she explained each thing in Proper Manner. The Staff was almost amazing. The best OB/GYN to meet.

Always a great place to go the staff is always a pleasure to talk to and wait time is not bad. The doctor is a great listener and give great advice and input and options when you are in need of it.

Update: HIPAA VIOLATIONAfter telling this office that I would like to pick up my medical records in person, they decided to instead mail them to the address they had on file for me when I was a patient nearly two years ago. They did not call and ask if this is what I wanted. They ignored my request to pick them up in person. When I called to voice my concerns about this, I was told that it was my responsibility to keep my address updated, even if I’m not longer a patient. Never mind the fact that I never told them that I wanted my sensitive medical records put in the mail. The office supervisor Shari/Cheri (sp?) took no responsibility whatsoever and instead blamed me for this mistake. I will be filing a HIPAA violation complaint. This office should be ashamed of themselves.Original review:I loved Dr. Chandrasekhara when I was a patient, but wait times are unacceptable. While most of the staff has been very pleasant, there is only a 50/50 chance that someone will answer the phone when you call. I have been trying to get a hold of my medical records for weeks now and am constantly being told that they are working on it and someone will call me back “in a couple days” or “by the end of the week.” They never call and I’m left to try and call in again, only to receive the same rushed answers and a promise that they will call “by the end of the week.” It’s been nearly three weeks and the appointment that I needed them for is tomorrow.

Dr.Darshna is the best. She is my OBGYN from past 2 years. I was gestational diabetes patient n had a baby last year. I believe if she was not there I couldn’t have had normal delivery. Looking at complexity every one thought it’s gonna be c section but my doc took chance on me and it was possible. I am so so thankful to my doc.

Dr. Chandrasekhara is a good doctor, but her staff is very shady and does not know how to properly bill or file with the insurance agencies. They will bill you up front for services stating they confirmed the amount with the insurance company, then send you a separate non itemized bill for often 2-3 time the amount you paid up front. If you call and try to inquire you will reach a ghetto black lady who will yell and belittle you and eventually hang up on you, if you reach anyone at all. I have called 4 times asking for an itemized bill as the bill sent doesnt even show the 500 plus dollars I paid at the time of the service for my daughter or what they are even billing us for. They have not called me back, they just send more and more bills and threaten to send it to collections.

I see Dr. Gaman at this same office so I was APALLED at how HORRIBLE this other visit was. I was scheduled as a new patient and was told to be there 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork because this doctor has different records. This paperwork was ONE sheet with 10 questions on it that took 10 seconds. Then they call me back early only to leave me waiting 40 minutes to be called into a room. The assistant was extremely rude and threw it in my face that she called me back early then moved on to inform me that all patients have at least a 45 minute wait time which no one told me, had I known that I wouldve never scheduled here! It was 3:45 and my appointment was at 3:15. She called me back at 3. I wasted an hour of my time and just left after the assistant was rude to me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME here.

Dr. Darshna is a sweetheart! She listened to all my oroblems and tried to find out what’s causing it. She also asked about my other health issues and if I’m taking care of it or no! She is amazing! The office is little bit confusing to find but they are changing their location, hopefully to a better one. Assistant nurse was friendly. Wait time was around around 20-30 min on a mondat morning 11 am.

Calling on all people who had a terrible experience here. when I was delivering she insisted on c-section and laughed with her staff while I was in terrible pain. she upright abused me and when I left there were scars on my legs far from the c-section. Don’t go to her find a good Doctor that will make your pregnancy memorable in a good way.

Google need to develop zero star too, it’s bad so bad can’t explain how bad it is. Getting bill that should be covered by insurance, getting prescription (prenatal) costing 220 whereas insurance company said it should be covered. Call to rectify or explain these issues, every time you call, your phone will be passed from one line to another and to another and to another whereas no one even bothers to say what’s going on. You will give your detail and answer one moment I will transfer and god knows where your call getting transferred.Oh on my first visit, they sent to next building for blood work, that sent me to 5 man drive to another building, and that building sent me back to same building. Now they are doing blood work, where I waited 3 hrs where only 4 people were ahead of me. And after doing blood work they gave me my blood in courier package and told me to go to near FEDEX to courier it immediately. Wow!!!

Dr. Chandrasekhara has been such an awesome Dr. No matter how silly I think my questions are, she will sit down and explain everything in full detail and make me feel like I am her only patient. There is never any rushing around and I always feel so good after I leave her because I am informed! And when we see the baby on the sonograms, she gets just as excited as my husband and I! Its such a treat to go see her.

Awful doctor! Two operations done on my fiancé for bad menstrual cycles. Only removed fibroids and kept saying she didn’t have endometriosis. Cycles remained unbearable. Went to another provider who diagnosed her with stage 4 endometriosis and was stunned and said , “How can a doctor open her up twice and not see this?”

She is really good, very easy to talk to and listens to everything you have to say. The only thing that I would say is a little negative is that, even if you have an appointment it takes them a little while to call you back. But for me all that is worth it. I really like her.

When you go into for a well visit, the Doctor can change the visit to a office visit and you will get charged. The doctor nor office will not tell you your visit has been changed. I have asked the office three times to let me know since Feb and they just told me today I was being charged for a office visit not a well visit for a question I asked. Extremely disappointed. The office doesnt even care.

She’s a great doctor but I always feel so rushed during my appointment therefore things are missed.

The dr is excellent. My only complaint is the waiting time. I sat in the examining room 40 minutes before I saw her.

She is the best!!! This will be my 3rd child that she delivers. She knows the whole family because we have all come to her for our deliveries or other operations. My oldest daughter is 6 yrs old and everytime she sees Dr C she runs up to her and gives her a huge hug. She makes sure that you and your baby are doing good and keeps a close eye out incase you have complications. She explains to you everything you need to know and if you dont understand she will explain more until you get it. We love her and consider her part of our family.

Dr. C gave a very thorough explanation for each of my concerns. Proactive approach to taking steps to rule things out. Was very easy to talk to for a first time patient.

Dr. Chandrasekhara is such a friendly doctor. She patiently answers all our questions and make you feel very comfortable. In initial days, waiting was more than hour, but now (as per my last 3 visits) it is on time.

Everything was great, Dr. & Nurses. HOWEVER WAITING TIME WAS CRAZY.We had appointment for 9:30am, nurse came and see us in time took weight and blood pressure, after that waited 11:40am+ times to see Dr.but she was nice.

Surgeon is fine but her office is fraudulent. After being held at virtual knife point to pay a deposit before surgery, it turns out to be an over payment. NO ONE will return a call from her office. NO ONE will give me copy of my account summary. I have over $1000 in fees that i paid out of pocket that need to be returned to me. She has been paid by insurance, has been since August. I am suing her.

Worstttttt experience. The wait time will be close to 2-3 hrs minimum and the customer service is the worst. You will get better customer service in an Indian Government hospital compared to her staff. My wife had a early miscarriage and when she went to hospital, they made her wait in the hospital for 2 hrs(she was in so pain and sad due to her miscarriage on that same day). They dont even have 0.001% concern also and when she asked the doctor about the miscarriage she was answering so rudely. Dont even try to visit Dr. Darshna.

I absolutely loved my dr...she talked to me through the whole procedure and which I kinda nervous for I didnt even realize she was doing until she told me she was finished...Im so completely comfortable with her

I had a very bad experience with this doctor. I was referred to herby my OBGYN because my iron and hemoglobin levels were low and she wanted me to have iron infusions and B12. I didnt get any of that. Instead, she wanted to do a c-section the next day of our meeting to fit her schedule even though I had one more week to my due date. I was so emotional and was crying and she said Im sorry, we could have prepared you for a c-section if you had come earlier. I was so shocked that she would say something like that. She also wanted payments up front....$1300 for the c-section. Very unprofessional and very cold hearted. I wouldnt go to her unless you want a painful experience. Stay away if you are planning a vaginal birth. She is too quick to push for c-sections.

Dr. Chandrasekhara is an excellent professional. I have been consulting with her since 2021.She explains everything to me, she has a nice staff in her practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Chandrasekhara for many year. Her and her staff truly care about their patients.

I drive almost an hour to see Dr. C and wouldnt have it any other way!! Yes sometimes she runs behind due to being at a delivery but lets be serious when Im in labor I would prefer she be with me as well so I dont mind waiting!! Her nurse Lisa is great also!

My first experience was good. All staff persons have good and helping nature. Dr chandrasekhara is a good lady, she explained me everything in proper way related to my pregnancy, all was good, will recommend to my friends and family.

She is the worst doctor. We had to move to Irving from Maryland and this was during my wifes late trimester. We came in to the emergency room and this so-called Doctor Chandrasekhara insisted on C-section even though my wife was having natural labor characteristics. At any rate, Chandra said there is no way other than a C-section. During C-section, my wife had a severe headache and pain. Chandra was laughing with her nurses and other staff while my wife was writhing in pain. After a while of my wife screaming, she tells her not to scream because it will only make the pain worse. She waited for my wife to scream and increase the pain. After the surgery, my wife had cuts on her thighs, legs and upper abdominal area, far away from the C-section. She is more like a butcher than a doctor.

Poor communication. Charging $25 for reports. Unable to get hold of nurse, voice message says will call back in 48 hours to return the call. Did not call my friend with a critical report to inform. No explanation given on the critical report. Don’t recommend.

I really question these poor reviews of Dr. C. - particularly those from men?!?! When I found out I was pregnant, Dr. C was *the only* OBGYN in the area that would even see me before 8 weeks. For someone experiencing their first pregnancy, this was important to me. Dr. C. is knowledgeable, patient, reassuring, has a wonderful bedside manner, and takes her time answering your questions. I fully trusted her throughout my pregnancy, which took some twists and turns. Yes, there were times when there was an extended wait to see her. However, I think thats not unusual for OBGYNs who dont get to schedule when their patients need them for delivery or emergencies! Where I will agree with the reviews is the office - they were horrible! Difficulties with billing and arguing with the billing manager when I was six months pregnant - those are the real issues here that need to be resolved. The front office/billing is the only reason I cant give Dr. C five stars. Please be careful of anonymous reviews that seem to have a revenge agenda. Or those reviews of an OBGYN placed by a man - seriously!!!

I don’t like waiting more than 30 minutes to see a Dr. I’m a professional too and my time is also valuable. But that’s not really the Dr.’s fault but the office. So with that said I really liked Dr. Chandrasekhar. She seemed very knowledgeable and was upbeat.

Horrible service long wait times and no respect for your time. My review of Dr. Chandrashekar is also at 50%. Her service otherwise was decent but I question her (and her team mates) skill and ability as surgeons. After my wife could not get into labor with our first child (2 years ago) she would not recommend C section but left decision to us which is lame because we are not subject matter experts. Fortunately we had some family neo natologist who recommended we demand a C section. The c section itself was fine but the recovery for my wife took 45 days while average is 1-2 weeks. I have serious doubt about their surgical ability since. Other than that Dr. Was nice to speak to and spent adequate time during/before the delivery and answered questions to our satisfaction. Their wait times are horrible its like having to take a half day off for what should be an hour and a half tops. Parking issues and questionable advance billing. We are changing my wifes OBGYN. Look elsewhere unless you want to waste half a day every visit.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE- She does not know what she is doing. Gave me all wrongs dates. Messed up my job - wouldnt sign my FMLA which she had agreed to. It was very harassing to be under her care. Did not give my test results for 3 weeks. Asking me to come in again n again. Staff left messages under her direction on my home phone saying she wants to make sure your home and not on a vacation. She has no regard for anyones life. She is a pathetic human being - doesnt have normal human behavior leave aside a doctors -who is suppose to help heal. SKIP HER . You will save a ton of self worth and self respect. She makes u feel miserable both physically and mentally. She needs to stop practicing.

Dr. Chandrasekhara has helped with several of my complications. She is understanding, staff is responsive, and It has been a pretty good experience.

I azn very satisfied with Dr. C. I have been going to her for approximately 10 years. She has always been very gentle, kind, professional, and thorough. She akways explains things in easily understandable terms, and and always asks if I have any further questions. I trust her.

Worst experience, I only visited once and they have not even performed any BRCA test but I received a hefty 5000$ medical bill. I dont understand, this facility is running fraudulent tests and claiming different bills. This is ridiculous, please stay out from this doctor.

She has been my OB/GYN for over 5 years now. She’s very caring and knowledgeable. she also delivered my grandson 2 months ago.

I love Dr Chandrashakara and was so sad when my insurance changed, but now I am back on track with the brilliant OB Darshna Chandrashakara MD

Shes so pleasant, accommodating and makes sure she attends to all your needs in terms of your health. Thanks so very much Dr Darshna once again. I will recommend her again and again.
