Dr Lacey is an expert, professional, listens to the patient always!! I am a 56 year old post menopausal woman who first came to Dr. Lacey three years ago suffering debilitating symptoms. She educated me well, and explained the options she recommended for HRT.Dr. Lacey is compassionate and caring. On the day of my last appointment I was feeling emotionally distraught due to my ongoing divorce,, and she took time to talk with me as a friend. She even kindly was able to reduce my out of pocket costs for the visit after I explained I my financial situation.My follow up in 6 weeks is scheduled, and Dr. Lacey promptly phoned in my prescriptions.It’s been only 24 hours since my treatment and I’m already feeling better!! Thank you Dr. Lacey & team!

Office was clean which is important to me. Staff was pleasant and respectful. Dr. Lacy does a very thorough exam and does not rush through your visit. She was a breath of fresh air for me after experiencing a string of doctors that were not communicative at all. Dr. Lacy spent a lot of time with me, asked me questions, and truly seemed to care. She took my concerns seriously and addressed each of them. I am so glad that I found her and look forward to trusting her with my health in the future. Dr. Lacy came highly recommended and I see why. Dr. Lacy made me feel very comfortable so it was easy to open up to her about my concerns. She was very attentive and did not talk over me. Dr. Lacy is an affirming caregiver whom I have seen since I moved to the Memphis area. She is oriented in serving, believing, and treating women-identifying persons and their needs. Shes the best OBGYN I have ever gotten to work with.

Dr. Lacy was very caring, and patient. She took her time to explain what was going on, and did not rush through my visit like most doctors do. She asked if I had any questions, and explained things without all of the medical jargon. She’s great empathetic doctor which I highly recommend.

It was my first visit with Dr. Lacy office and everything and everyone was fantastic! Her staff was very nice and helpful and had pleasing attitudes. It made me feel more at ease since it was my first office visit. Dr Lacy was phenomenal she talked with me, asked me questions, and asked if I had any questions. When I asked her questions,she answered them and didnt rush through them , nor did she rush with me. I no longer live in Memphis but I travel home because I dont want any other doctor besides Dr. Lacey. She and her staff are amazing and have great bedside manner. 10/10 recommended.

I have personally had a terrible experience with Dr. Lacys office. I came to her for continued hormone treatment, and we got along well in office. However, my blood was drawn and labs were taken, and I was promptly ghosted by the office and Dr. Lacy herself for the next two months. I left multiple voice-mails, asking for the results of my blood work, none of which were returned. The week of the two month mark I finally relented and went into the office in person, to request my labs results. The staff at the front desk grabbed Dr. Lacy for me and I was told that labs were moving slowly do to a system transfer. I completely understand that as a reasonable explanation for taking time getting my results, but the utter lack of communication and disregard for my wellbeing as a patient is inexcusable. She reiterated that they offer great care, but I fail to see how an office can offer great care if they refuse to return a phone call. I wouldnt be nearly as angry as I am, if they had simply taken the time to call and let me know what the issue was, but the fact that they were unwilling to do so shows their absolute lack of care for the people they serve, in my opinion. I feel utterly disrespected as a patient and would not recommend seeking care with her, unless you want to be ghosted by your Healthcare provider.

Dr. Susan Lacy is very personable and genuinely cares for her patients. The staff is always friendly and professional.

Dr. Lacy is an outstanding doctor. However, her office is so poorly run and impossible to reach the majority of the time. They don’t ever return calls, even when I leave a voicemail. I had to call repeatedly for weeks just to get an appointment. I also got lab work done and no one ever called me with the results. I had to call multiple times for 2 weeks just to get my results. Sadly, I know of several people who have had similar experiences with this office. Not calling patients promptly about lab work is just not good patient care. It’s really a shame because I love Dr. Lacy as a doctor, but her office is completely unprofessional and I do not recommend.

I went to Dr. Lacy 2 years ago and she was great. I went about 6 weeks ago and boy has that changed!! I have called 20 times and received no return calls for my lab results. I have also not had my medicine called in!It has been 6 weeks!! What a ridiculous way to do business! Huge waste of my time!! This is the worst medical care I have not recieved!!

Arguably the most poorly run practice I’ve ever encountered. Been a patient for two years and in that time I have spent over 6 weeks waiting for returned calls, 10+ hours in person waiting for the doctor to show up for (or not show up and cancel) appointments. Twice, after weeks of calling, I’ve had to show up in their office begging for a call back to get prescriptions refilled (and I’ve only needed two refills in my tenure as a patient). Dr. Lacy is very smart, but has no value of her patients time. Out of site, out of mind. She has no showed or showed up over 40 mins late for every appointment I’ve ever had (in person and virtual) and then rescheduled at the last minute. She failed to follow up with orders for a mammogram after my appt despite knowing my mother was just diagnosed with breast cancer and the list goes on and on. I shouldn’t have to beg my doctor to speak to or treat me. It’s just wrong. I’m finding another doctor.

I have had such a hard time with this office. Dr. Lacys care is fine--its the actual logistics of getting what you need that sucks. What is the point of running a practice when you cant give patients what you prescribe? Whenever I need a refill for prescriptions, no one gets back to me unless I call several times for weeks on end. During my care here, I had a weird result for an HIV test. They did not tell me this until SIX MONTHS!!! later when I walked in regarding a different issue. When I asked for a confirmatory test, they took weeks longer than what they told me to expect to get back to me and only when I refused to pay the $5 my insurance did not cover for the exam did they call me back with my results. That couldve been a life-changing diagnosis, which caused me months of stress in which I could not sleep or go about my day without thinking about it. I have never written a bad review online (or a review at all) but felt that this was necessary, as my health was in jeopardy and not prioritized. DO NOT go here. Save yourself the stress.

My experience was great. Mrs. Shun (receptionist) was wonderful, and when I went into the back Mrs. Nikki (nurse) she was also great and friendly. Dr. Lacy was also great and friendly she answered all of my questions and concerns. I love how all the staff was friendly and was able to help with any questions.

I came in for a visit on the 6th (not my first, definitely my last). Had multiple labs run and called on the 13th to check on them. No response, as per the usual, so I left a voicemail with the receptionist and the medical assistant asking if my labs were in yet. I never got a response, but later that same day I got a call from Walgreens saying I have antibiotics waiting for me from Dr. Lacy, which means my labs were abnormal. I called again and still no answer so I left more voicemails. I physically went to the office on the 20th and paid for parking, but they were closed. I was never notified of any closure. I’ve messaged the office through my patient portal as well and STILL nothing. It’s the 23rd and I don’t have my results, and I refuse to take any medication that I have no idea why I’m taking it. This office is deplorable. Do NOT waste your time or mental energy here! I will promptly find a new doctor once I get my results, and if I do not get my results I will be pursuing legal action. To treat patients this way is borderline abusive.

Im not a fan of doctors or leaving reviews. But when an experience is natural and comfortable to me thats a signal that theres an authentic sincerity about the situation. As soon as you step into MORE theres a welcoming atmosphere that greets you. The staff is gracious and courteous. Ms Nikki has a gentle nature is patient and is wonderfully personable. Dr Lacy has THE BEST bedside manner and her approach professional yet familial. Shes also knowledgeable and thorough without being overtly clinical. For someone who has a love/hate relationship with doctors and going to the doctor, this was a very refreshing and uplifting experience. Im glad I found Dr Lacy and the MORE team.

Dr. Lacy and her staff were SIMPLY amazing! I have always had a fear of the OBGYN, but Dr. Lacy and her assistant made me feel very comfortable. Throughout my entire visit, I felt as if I were her only patient and she really took her time explaining things to me and listened to my concerns. Dr.Lacy is very thorough in listening to her patient & explaining to them her recommendations for their treatment plan. I want to start by saying that Dr. Lacy is a phenomenal doctor, but her billing department is abysmal. I pay out of pocket to see the doctor and pay her for blood work every 3 months. After paying my doctor for this service I received a bill in error from the lab company for $800 and when I called Ava McDaniel in the billing department I was told it was in error and she would handle it. She did not and now that bill is being sent to a debt collector and hurting my credit score. This is extremely unprofessional and shows a complete lack of ethics.UPDATE: Dr. Lacy has agreed to work on the issue with Ava and if my situation gets resolved then I will gladly update this review to 5 stars because Dr. Lacy deserves that.Update 2: The billing company for Dr. Lacy got in touch with me and said that Im basically on my own for paying for my lab work, even after I paid Dr. Lacy for my lab work already, and that if I have a problem with how Dr. Lacy is billing me that its between me and her. As this is not a resolution to my problem, not even close, my review will stay at one star until a real resolution is offered.Update 3: it has been 3 months since this review and this debt has now been sent to a debt collector, and the office person that was supposed to resolve my issue, Ava McDaniel, has failed to offer any evidence that she is working on the issue nor any form of resolution. This has been the most unprofessional doctors experience I have ever had and I am very upset with the entire thing.Update 4: This issue has been resolved and I have updated my rating to reflect this.

As a new patient of Dr. Lacy, she and her staff were very attentive and made me feel comfortable. I love the vibe in her office the decor is beautiful and makes you feel as if this place truly cares about women’s health. First impressions mean lot, I had to over look the receptionist and remind myself that I’m not here to see her. She has a bland personality.I appreciate the extreme safety precautions put in place to minimize exposure to the coronavirus. I was the only patient in the office and the next person was not scheduled until about 5 or 10 minutes after me. I happen to see the next patient in the hallway because she could not find the office. I highly recommend her!

If you want a healthcare provider that will refuse to use their own portal, never (ever) answer the phone, mismanage your prescriptions, and make you pay for services you’ll never see, go here.If you want to access care without driving up to the office just to make an appointment, or be able to call to change your pharmacy when they send your medicine almost an hour away, then maybe keep looking.

I needed to find a new GYN and wanted someone in Midtown. So happy I came here. The whole space is gorgeous--huge windows look over the city, the soothing wall colors pop with fun, colorful original art, and the mood is relaxing. Best yet, Dr. Lacy was professional, friendly, and immediately put me at ease. Her staff were energetic, and seemed excited to work there. I dont blame them. The mood is so upbeat, every doctors office should be that way. Tip: park on the top floor of the parking lot, (less crowded, and you can easily see the exit door), then take elevator to floor 14.

I thought Doctor Lacy was nice enough but last time I went she seemed very short and irritated with me for having a fear of needles. Also the front staff always misgender me. They know your there for trans care and dont even bother trying to use your pronouns or preferred name. Me and 3 other friends go here for transgender care and weve all issues reaching them. Or showing up to an empty office or locked doors. I stood in the office for 45min once before anyone even showed up or noticed. You call and call and call and they dont answer. after my last visit they never sent my prescription and I keep having to try and call over and over again. I reached them once and they said they would send it. That was 2 months ago and its still not been sent over. So Im officially like 6+ months off of T. If it wasnt the only office that offered transgender care then I would go somewhere else in a heartbeat. The unprofessionalism and unreliability is so off putting. It makes an already vulnerable time for someone way more stressful than it needs to be.

Nurses were kind and professional. Dr. Lacy listened to all my concerns, provided me with helpful honest information, followed up with some tests, provided me with all kinds of option and resources, and then helped me figure out what were some of the best things to do moving forward for my needs. I am always very nervous going to the doctor, but the environment is nice and the people were great! I think its really important to see a doctor that will listen to your symptoms/concerns without doubting your experience, and then agree to help you the best way they can. I was impressed, relieved, and comforted. 10/10 recommend

Everything from start to finish to see Dr. Susan Lacy was so perfect. I came from Birmingham, Al. A quick trip up Hwy 22 with very easy access to the 1407 building off the hwy. They have a parking deck! a definite plus. then its one door, elevator to 14th and you are there. Its a big open atmosphere with large windows that allow for wall to wall views of Memphis. Its really cool. Dr. Lacy was so nice and professional. I meet the office manager Randal, and my RN MSN Annie and Dr. Lacy while I was there. I spent time with each and all the staff made me feel like Family and I like that a lot! :) Im looking forward to my next visit. Lilliya

They won’t return my calls, I have never once received a reply to any messages in the portal they provide you to contact your doctor with, and reading the reviews, clearly it’s not just me. Do not go here unless you’re trying to get detransitioned.
