Dr lacey is good at what she does. However...her staff are incredibly disorganized. They misgender trans people (the clinic caters and promotes itself for trans people) and Im not the only one reporting this.The bill pay system is incredibly random, you will pay your copay up front, and then you get charged separately from a lab company in the mail, mine was $25. Then you will get charged a left over balance later on. So essentially a 3 part payment. This isnt the worst part.My last visit I asked about fatigue and thyroid tests. I then get my labs back and everything looks normal. I then get a phone call 2 weeks later where they want to go over labs, the numbers were different that what I was initially sent. I was confused by not able to ask these questions at the time. Then I asked about my thyroid, the staff member went away came back and said everything looks fine and then the next day I get a prescription for thyroid medication randomly.All of this is very very odd for a Drs office. My options are limited as a trans person but the costs and completely disorganized staff is a major major put off. Especially for a transgender clinic. Also, good luck getting them on the phone.

I walked in very nervous, but was quickly put at ease with the staff. It was nice to see an all black staff, and it was very easy to get comfortable. Nurse Nikki was very nice, and Dr. Lacy answered my questions, and reassured me. 10/10, would recommend

This was THE best experience I have ever had with an OBGYN. Dr. Lacy takes the time to counsel with you and answer questions before jumping right into care. She is extremely welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community and made me feel safe.

Dr Lacy is simply the best!!! I have been trusting her with my care for 25 years. My oldest daughter that she was my OB for now sees her as well. My 2 that she delivered as well will be seen by her as well, when it’s time of course . We just love , respect and trust her so much

Went to Dr. Lacy a few months ago for my annual checkup. The staff seemed like they werent familiar with procedure. Dr. Lacy came up front and she wasnt overly friendly. When I got went in back I expressed my concerns about not being comfortable doing the exams and she kind of swept my words aside. Didnt like that she had no bedside manner but because I was called soon about results I decided to do follow up. When I went back I ended up falling because the cute chair slid from under me. Two ladies asked if it was okay but after sitting for awhile I began to hurt so I told the receptionist that I was going to reschedule. No one called to see if I was okay. I wont be going back.

Caring professional staff and Dr Lacy is excellent in every way! 5 stars plus!

Dr. Lacey is one of the most socialable doctors that I have ever met. She is attentive, has a great sense of humor and very likeable. She actually listened to my needs and laid out a very clear plan to have them met.

I have personally had a terrible experience with Dr. Lacys office. I came to her for continued hormone treatment, and we got along well in office. However, my blood was drawn and labs were taken, and I was promptly ghosted by the office and Dr. Lacy herself for the next two months. I left multiple voice-mails, asking for the results of my blood work, none of which were returned. The week of the two month mark I finally relented and went into the office in person, to request my labs results. The staff at the front desk grabbed Dr. Lacy for me and I was told that labs were moving slowly do to a system transfer. I completely understand that as a reasonable explanation for taking time getting my results, but the utter lack of communication and disregard for my wellbeing as a patient is inexcusable. She reiterated that they offer great care, but I fail to see how an office can offer great care if they refuse to return a phone call. I wouldnt be nearly as angry as I am, if they had simply taken the time to call and let me know what the issue was, but the fact that they were unwilling to do so shows their absolute lack of care for the people they serve, in my opinion. I feel utterly disrespected as a patient and would not recommend seeking care with her, unless you want to be ghosted by your Healthcare provider.

Im getting teary eyed just writing this review. My first visit with Dr. Lacy and her staff was so affirming. Ive never in my life felt so heard... so cared for... so believed while visiting a doctor and expressing my concerns. From the time I called the office worried about my appointment being canceled because I was running late (car problems), to checking in, to in-take steps, to my time with Dr. Lacy, I felt like I was engaging with family that loved me. The way Dr. Lacy breaks down your care and options is SO refreshing and easy to understand... and most importantly, she did it without judgment. Ive avoided/dreaded consistent care in the past because Id feel so unheard or rushed or judged after leaving. But after my dear mother passed a couple of months ago, I knew I had to get back into consistent care. I first found Dr. Michelle James, who is fabulous. Then I saw that Dr. Lacy was apart of the same group, so I prayed and reached out for a new patient appointment. So glad I did. I feel so confident and comfortable with my future care under this group of doctors, nurses, and care staff.

Dr. Lacy and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Very thorough, informative and genuinely show they care for your overall well-being!

10/10! WOW is an understatement. Dr. Lacy took her time to understand my menopause symptoms and I left with a treatment plan that I actually understood. I was heard and validated! Dr. Lacy is an amazing doctor. I hate doctors but she made me feel right at home at listened to every concern I had. I had fertility issues and extreme irregular cycles causing me and my husband to have trouble conceiving for over 3 years. We tried a couple different routes with lacy and ended conceiving 6 months after meeting with her and trying her different ideas. Im so proud to say I gave birth to a healthy happy baby on March 11th, 2023. Thank you Dr. Lacy, you made our impossible, possible.

Words can not explain how amazing my experience was with Dr.Lacy, this was my first appointment with her but if felt as though she had been my physician forever. She made me feel so comfortable expressing my concerns & issues I was having, she explained everything very throughly and left absolutely no questions unanswered. I hate this office. I went there for transgender care the staff constantly misgendered me. They never answer phones they dont send prescriptions and you have to wait in the waiting room for 30min to an hour before you even see anyone there. Ive had 3 other friends who had the same issue with this office. The final tipping point was at my last appointment Dr.Lacy was extremely rude she refused to explore alternative forms of testosterone for me and basically belittled and rolled her eyes at me for having a fear of needles then after just giving me a different form of needles that I didnt really want she never sent over the prescription. Its been over 6 months I havent had my stuff and havent been able to reach anyone at the office to fix it. The one time I did some said they would tell her. Its been another 4+ months since that and still nothing. I would never recommend this office. And seriously hope they fix their communication because its sad that one of the few places that offers transgender care in this area is so terrible.

Dr. Lacy was very nice and a breath of fresh air! I have been looking for a new OBGYN and finding a good Dr. can be stressful. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of her office and how she listened to my concerns and addressed them without rushing or making me feel like I was just another number. I find Dr Lacy and everyone I encounter in the office very welcoming and calming in what could be a nervous environment for many. I have never been rushed or made to feel my questions were too much. It is a casual yet professional atmosphere filled with care and compassion.

The wait was a bit long, but this was expected as I was a new patient. Dr. Lacy was fabulous! She roller her time and explained things to me. The office was clean and organized. I will definitely return to this office. The only negative is that they dont validate parking, but I was less there less than 2 hours so it was only $2.

I’ve been going to Dr Lacy for a long time. I was in school and fell off from going regular to her and had no time for myself really and was in school, working, and helping take care of a sick mom and taking care of a little niece too. I recently came back to her I haven’t been to any other OBGYN since I came to her and that speaks volumes coming from me. She has always taken good care of me and always has time for my concerns and questions. I’m just blessed to have met her yes ago and to come back to the same concerned and professional person is a great joy.

Tried calling to get a sense of the practice, but no one answered..ever! I booked an appt online but it took days for it to be confirmed and it wasnt the day proposed on the calendar...ok no biggie. I didnt receive the warm welcome that I read about below. When I arrived, the front desk didnt acknowledge me for almost 3 minutes. It was a group of ladies standing at the desk discussing something and didnt even speak until they were done. Dr. Lacy was cold, and unwelcoming as well almost as if i irritated her. Especially when i asked for liquid forms of meds because of my pill phobia. She didnt bother to see if an alternative was available. I was asked my concerns on the intake paperwork and she did not ask reasons why or give advice on how move to forward. There was no personal connection. My reasons for going to her was to not feel like another number and find a doctor I could trust and feel comfortable with, but I didnt. Maybe she was having an off day, but my anxiety with obgyns wont allow me to find out for sure. Because if this was to be first impressions, I rather not continue.

The woman, Randel, at the front desk was so professional and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. Mickey, was AMAZING. She definitely made the process of blood being drawn quick and painless. Dr. Lacy was great!! She was professional, kind, answered questions, and straight to the point! I loved walking into the modern decorated beautiful office. I am glad to have found Dr. Lacy!

The care here is great. I had an IUD inserted and I felt supported and comfortable through the whole procedure.My only complaint is that it can be difficult to communicate with the office at times. Making appointments and just calling the office is difficult.

I’ve been waiting over a month for HRT refills- phone and patient portal messages go unanswered. Incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I can see I’m not the only trans person who’s been here for healthcare and then been tossed aside.

Dr Lacy is warm and thorough. Her office is inviting and inclusive. I have had chronic abdominal pain for so long, have had ovarian cysts, and have been dismissed by other gynecologists. As a trans person, its been hard to find adequate reproductive care and even harder to find a doctor who takes my pain seriously and treats me with respect. Dr Lacy listened to everything Ive experienced, asked me lots of questions, and offered me solutions as well a plan to move forward with pain management. I was able to discuss my gender identity journey, as well as my needs and goals with HRT openly and ask questions without feeling judged or self conscious. It is a relief to no longer feel like I have to settle for less than adequate care. I have only been in the office once and it was the best gynecological experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr Lacy for anyone seeking a gynecologist, especially trans and GNC folks.

Scheduled an appointment, took off work, drove all the way to midtown from Cordova and I was lost!! Had no idea where to park or where the office was. To make it worse nobody would answer the phone. How are you a doctors office us you don’t answer the phone! I called six times. Eventually I gave up and went home. What a waste of time

Went here for my first OBGYN visit! I was so nervous because I thought my pap-smear was going to hurt--Dr. Lacy and her nurse, Nikki (SP) were so sweet and did a great job of calming my nerves. They went above and beyond! I went for an exam but was having some additional health issues and instead of sending me to my primary physician, they went ahead and did my blood work for me. I am so happy to have found such a great OBGYN in Memphis and to have had such a positive, anxiety-free first annual exam. Would absolutely recommend to all of my lady and transgender friends! Super inclusive and progressive. I literally cant express how much I appreciate this place and everyone that works there.

Great physician and excellent practice!! Love the new office and the staff is on par. Parking is easy and I’m usually out in about an hour and a half or less. Been a patient of Dr Lacy’s for over 20 years!

Dr. Lacy is a great doctor PLUS her aesthetic treatments have been life changing. I just got my third OpusPlasma treatment yesterday and I can’t say enough about how it’s transformed my skin. I had a couple straight years of flaky, crunchy skin. I did every type of treatment, facial, peel etc and nothing helped it until this. I am a convert for life! I’m a stylist and all of my clients remark on how different my skin looks and how it glows!Also- perfect Botox and lip filler plus undereye PRP! Can’t recommend enough! Could not get the Dr. To call in my prescription. I called office every week for 3 weeks. They said it was time for my yearly exam. I explained to them I was out of town and would not return until April. I could come in when I get back to town. No one called me no one fill my prescription. So I’m having to go with out my meds. And taking alternative meds. I’ve only seen her 1 time. And she seems like a very good DR. So don’t know if it’s office staff not giving her the messages or what. But probably won’t be returning to this DR.

This woman was totally awesome. Anyone in the LGBTQ community should come to her. Staff was professional and made the experience very comfortable. Really enjoying and looking forward to her being my doctor.

I was not informed that my appointment was canceled. Apparently they whole building was shut down because of flooding. No one notified me before my appointment. I received notification hours after. Everybody there was so welcoming. It was a very friendly environment. The atmosphere is very clean and beautiful. Staff is very knowledgeable
