I recently became a patient at Bliss Health in Orlando, and I couldnt be more pleased with my experience. Initially, I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about managing my treatment, unsure of how to move forward.From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warmth, making me feel like I belonged to a supportive community. I had the opportunity to meet my entire care team, who genuinely cared about my health and the success of my treatment.By the end of my visit, I felt a significant shift in my outlook. My earlier fears melted away, and I left feeling hopeful and confident, knowing I had a solid plan in place to support my well-being.

They are great! Warm, caring and friendly. They are so helpful. They guide my health to be better. I have been going to Bliss since 2017. Eric Foster is an amazing person and professional as a health care provider. Vicky is wonderful resource as a mental health support.

I don’t know where to start. I really wish I was better with names. Everyone from the medical assistant to the provider, pharmacy and the patient liaison that reached out to me were just phenomenal. I wish they were broader in scope beyond sexual health. I’d go there for primary care if I could. I’m sure it’s easier said than done. I had been off PrEP for a couple of years and returning to Bliss was seamless and even better than before. Well done!

Recently moved to the area and it was easy for me to get an initial appointment for care within two weeks of calling. Nice clinic with helpful staff and practitioners who cared about my concerns. Onsite blood draw made getting labs done more convenient.

Its been years of being treated with great care, affection and respect. Its hard to choose a name because theyre all amazing. Thank you Bliss team for so much, youre the best!!!!! The new space is wonderful.

This was my first time visiting this center, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. From the beginning, it felt like an unprofessional environment that lacked basic tact in dealing with patients.My main issue was with Nurse Wendy Nuñes, who handled delicate and important matters with little care or professionalism. Her approach left us feeling anxious, fearful, and completely misinformed. When we requested a reasonable accommodation, she was dismissive and unempathetic, which only added to our distress.Healthcare providers should approach sensitive situations with empathy and transparency, but that was not the case here. We were lied to and treated with indifference, as if we were just another number rather than patients who deserved respect and clarity.Given the generally positive reviews this clinic has received, I never expected such poor treatment. Clinics like this should be more mindful of how they communicate with patients and ensure they’re not withholding or misrepresenting critical information.

Bliss ❤️🩷🩵 is my go to place for HRT and I highly recommend them, Erik and Dr. Ortiz are amazing individuals and the staff is great. But their new location is pretty confusing to find so I recommend leaving early. I also wish they would give a little more grace. On appointments for that fact for the time being until their loyal patients like myself, I’ve been going there for six years, can actually find it.

This is the most calming and peaceful health clinic you’d ever find. The providers & staff are extremely kind and dedicated, they always make sure you feel understood and informed. I drive 30 minutes to this location because the quality and experience is unmatched. Thank you BLISS team!

There is wonderful, delightful man and explains everything thoroughly to me and I understand and is taking good care of me. This place is so welcoming and informative! They are really there yo get anything you need taking care. You dont have health insurance do not fret they have assistance for that. Never felt so comfortable!

This place is great. The doctor is very kind and genuinely cares about his patients’ wellbeing. The staff are the same. Never has a doctor’s office made me feel more supported. The only thing is that at least right now, there’s a long waitlist and appointments take a long time. Don’t schedule things after the appointment, you will be late 😄Still, I HIGHLY recommend this place. For real.

The music was SO Loud today. It was so loud in the lobby and almost as loud in the lab collection area. I love a great night club. But in the lobby while you are waiting, it was not only distracting, it was annoying. Very annoying. If you were trying to get something done on your phone or laptop while you wait, you had to work over the noise.I love having a hip Dr’s office. But I can’t imagine how the desk gets any work done on the phone. I had to try talk over it. Because they are seated and asking me questions, I can’t clearly hear them. I’m not deaf. I have very good hearing. Especially when I think of all the hours I have spent in night clubs and parties.Pick a background level and watch productivity increase

I would like to say I was disappointed. I went there for care and was told that I would be able to get seen even without having insurance and it would be fine. I made and appointment, came on time to have had to sit for and hour just to be told that because I didn’t have insurance I wouldn’t be able to be seen by a doctor. I don’t like that I was fed misinformation the day before and wasted my time. I wouldn’t refer anyone to go there if they can’t be honest.

Bliss is amazing!! Feels more like a day at the spa than a health clinic. All the staff are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond for their patients!!

At Bliss Healthcare I had found specialized, empathetic, driven care, laser focused in me as an individual! The staff is welcoming and capable! Service is mostly one stop do everything! I go to my doctors appointment, get my lab work, use their pharmacy and also been using their mental health professionals! My mental health provider is great I was at war with myself and now we are running a rescue mission!

Every time I go I come back very satisfied with everything, so much so that I decided to make this update.

Willy the nurse is the best. Always ready to help and treat everyone with respect and dedication. And when we talk about giving injection you don’t even feel. He does a great job at the clinic . All the front staff is always happy and ready to help.

Disappointed in this office. I had a teleconference appointment and the doctor never appeared. I was assured he would be there but alas after almost two hours I gave up. Later that day after 6pm the officeCalled but I was unavailable at that time. Two days later and still no contact by phone or by the portal.

The whole staff is always very friendly, curteous and respectful!Any issue, problem or concern I have ever had is resolved immediately, and always to my expectations & complete satisfaction.LOVE BLISS HEALTH!!

Dr. O. Is a good man. If he went to Columbia, Id follow. The people who work there are Angels. Theyre always helping me...on... sometimes medical (usually) but even help with m-caid etc.Dr. O. I recommend this health center 100%. The healthcare is of high quality and the professionals who work there are very competent and attentive. They are very fast and I was very satisfied. Cant speak highly enough of Bliss healthcare and Doctor Ortiz. The entire experience, from the moment I walked in, was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient, and Doctor Ortiz was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to address all my questions and concerns. Welly Rosado(nurse) have always been wonderful and treat each patient with kindness and respect.

This is literally hands down the best doctors office I had ever gone to before.. they only have one fault and Ill tell you what that is at the end but, the staff is unbelievably professional... the check-in technology is exceptional! They send out reminders via text and email which is very common for businesses I know.. AND they have an on-site pharmacy, they have mental health available too! Incidentally, the office is absolutely beautiful; it looks like it belongs in South Beach Miami... and their office always has the radio station set for CHILL on Sirius XM on.. just to add to the vibe... LOL 🤣! .. But wait theres more! Hehehe... they have (Im not sure what their title is), Patient Advocates that just call on a quarterly basis to check in and make sure everything is okay with your health and wellbeing.. theres even been times where it wasnt convenient for me to go to BLISS to have lab work done and they had MOBILE lab work sent to my residence... which was unbelievably convenient.. a special shout out goes to Nathan Bradley who is fantastic and phenomenal at his job and of course the other person on Dr Ortizs staff that is unbelievable is Eric Foster he literally holds my hand through any type of procedure/concern that needs to be done to/of me! Hes unbelievably caring and has a phenomenal bedside manner.. which you dont always get with doctors offices thats for sure.. I have never felt like I was just patient in there they actually treat me with respect and its a pleasure to work with them.. I cant Rave about this place enough the only problem is.. get ready... it consistently takes a smidge too long in the waiting room... I know theyre working on it! However, long wait yes... but it is absolutely freaking worth it 👍 AND just how did I end up at BLISS? Well, I had a medical issue that needed to be addressed, that doctor Ortiz specifically deals with, and my friend referred me to Dr Ortizs office... he was fantastic and had great empathy for my situation which was instrumental in dropping my anxiety level.. he literally put his hand on my shoulder for support any proceeded to let me bawl my eyes out! Talk about a great bedside manner.. holy moly! I only saw him that one time but I can tell hes a really genuine guy and he loves his staff and his office you can see just by the way everything is presented to you from the check-in process to the staff to the nurses to the waiting rooms everything is top notch!! Thanks Bliss 😊

Today was my first visit to Bliss and i was very impressed. The staff was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable. It’s not often you find a doctors office where you feel heard and understood. Bliss did that. 👏🏻 🏆

Finding sexual health in the state of Florida is a bit daunting. I was referred to Bliss by a friend. It was a few blocks from my house. My initial visit left me in awe! The front desk attendant, Ricardo, is always super helpful and friendly. The nurse attendant who assisted me with my vitals and intake work, Welly, is always super professional and makes you feel sooo comfortable. The medical professional I see every time I visit, Eric F. is super great at explaining anything & everything and makes you feel like you’re a friend he truly cares about. I live about 30 minutes away now but will continue to make the trip because of the friendly staff (Ricardo, Welly, Eric plus the rest), energetic environment and overall level of care I receive at Bliss Health. Thank you for all that you do!

The people I have the honor to talk with are the most loving caring people I have ever met and I am so grateful to have them in my life. The only negative thing I have to say is when you call in to make or change an appointment, it is a lot of times you get put on hold and sometimes it goes to voice mail or it feels like they forget about that your on hold.

Mobile testing services are available for a number of issues including COVID-19.

Today wasn’t the best experience! i got to the appointment on time and i waited 50 mins to be seen. The nurse that pulled me back so oh we have been calling you and you didn’t respond. I was in the lobby at 4 no one be called me. People were coming in and being seen right away. In the begging when i first started going there this kinda stuff happened a lot so we shall see

BLISS Health staff has been great. They offer virtual appointments and do everything they can to make sure you can get the care and medication I need. They make me feel comfortable and I no longer have anxiety about going to doctor appointments. They are accommodating and scheduling appointments are easy. I really love that they have a patient portal where you can email your medical providers and also look at your test results. I would recommend BLISS Health to anyone who is looking for a supportive and caring medical professionals.

Doctor canceled my last appointment and then stood me up for the Telemed that was scheduled. His nurse literally said the doctor will be calling you in five minutes and he never did . I went for 4 days without my Davoto. I still dont have Rx’s for the other meds that doctor writes for me. Currently, Quest is telling me they have a vial of my blood with no orders for it. And I bet you no one in the building knows where my FMLA paperwork is. I could go on and on about the number of times the office staff has failed to do what they told me they were going to do. From sending lab orders to Quest, filling out FMLA paperwork to sending Rxs . The receptionist scheduled me to be there at a time when the phlebotomist wasnt in. Also same receptionist scheduled me to be there on a day the office was closed. I got a call 4 days prior that we need to reschedule. Another time I was left in an exam room for an hour. Someone had marked me as having been seen. PA Eric decided to rewrite all of the prescriptions Dr. Ortiz writes for me to change dosages and refills. (I’m really am still boggled about that one. How dare he?) I love Doctor Ortiz but every time I have to go in, my anxiety goes through the roof wondering what incompetent ridiculousness am I going to encounter this time? Sadly, at my next appointment, I will be asking Dr. Ortiz to recommend a different HIV Doctor. Hes great for my HIV but Bliss Health is detrimental to my nerves and wellbeing. And if Doctor Ortiz should actually read this, please call me.

Nurse Jackie and Dr Eric were great and took care of all of my needs. They got me in and out and made sure I felt comfortable and answered all of my questions. Thank you Bliss for your helpful services!!

Pretty good vibe, everyone in there is nonjudgmental, so go in there and focus. Mainly on your health and your well-being. The nurses and doctors in there are really nice. I got along with them really well.

Staff always great and Erin always deserves a shout out shes great. Dr. Ortiz is one of the best and works hard for the patients not the money. If you have transportation problems they send you a Lyft driver. He takes everyone even if you dont have insurance.Only problem that isconsistent the wait time past yourscheduled appointment. Sometimes more than an hour but still I wouldnt go back to OIC or health dept.

Been with Dr Ortiz for over 25 years!! We wii follow him wherever he goes! He is Brilliant, a little hard to understand his English sometimes but thats ok. All of his Staff are Fabulous!!

I’ve spent a month trying to get my medication I just get the runaround. They’re only open in the middle of the day when I’m working it’s really difficult to get any help if you can’t go in. They told me that bliss care would cover my medication. If my insurance ran out and then I had to go months without it. The staff is nicer just really unorganized. They also need better business hours. It would be helpful if they were open on a Saturday.

I recently moved to Orlando and finding a new doctor is always tough. I saw Wendy the new Womens Health Nurse Practitioner and she was kind, thorough, and made me feel very comfortable. I had my blood drawn and did not bruise!!! Thank you to everyone at Bliss, I found my new place!!!

Bliss Healthcare is really about the patient and tries hard to add you the any open appointment and works well with you. They are super busy and you definitly have To have an appointment. It just works better that way, but they so welcome walk-ins. Just get ready to wait a little. The doctors are great and the staff super friendly.

I have been a patient at Bliss for roughly 7 years now working with HRT as I am Transgender among other treatments. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with on what can be a sensitive subject. They are very organized!

I had an appointment for 4:40 PM. I called because it was raining and I was going to be late, once I got there at 4:55. They told me the doctor left for the day. You just don’t do that to people, they wouldn’t tell me when I called not to even bother to come, I would appreciate that more than made me drive 45 minutes to get there and get nothing accomplish. Just don’t do that to people. I’m sure you’ll be really upset if someone will do that to you.

Unprofessional to the max. Do not book clients, a month out, too just call them the weekend before to cancel. Yes now I have to scramble to find a doctors office because you guys can’t stick to what you originally offered. How do you claim to care for the community ? But take away services so abruptly.

During my labs I passed out and while mildly unconscious was misgendered by the nurses until I woke up. Not the best feeling to know I’m only respected if they think I can hear them. It’s not the first time I’ve been misgendered when “out of earshot” either.The doctor and front desk were very kind though.

Unfortunately I’m very disappointed about both my visits, the more I thought about it. It was bad. Hopefully next time it will be different!!!!

Life can be stressful, work weeks can become tumultuous hurdles you do your best to overcome, and all for the two days off where you can be yourself and not on someone else’s clock. Those two days are what life is all about; your idea of a good time can mean time with family, friends, or a mixture of both. But from time to time, we all get that itch that we just need to scratch. To keep things PG-13, for most of us, when we feel that “itch”, we need to satisfy it by scratching it. Sometimes scratching that itch can lead to regrettable moments that cause a not-so-metaphorical itch, the type others notice because you can’t help but scratch, or tingle, or burn, the list goes on. You panic, you get super nervous and even embarrassed. Society has failed us in these moments because we’re taught to feel ashamed of our desires.  This shame prevents many of us from seeking help or treatment, which can mitigate further spread that “itch”.If you’ve been able to find the courage to seek medical intervention to help get rid of an “itch”, but you have the misfortune of seeking that intervention from your local Health Department or Emergency Department at a hospital, you know it can be extremely embarrassing. Most doctors and nurses can come across as judgmental, accusatory, and tend to place the blame on you, the patient in their care. One time at the Health Department, it felt like I was the number one suspect in a homicide investigation because of the way they questioned me.  The staff scowled at me, the nurses guilt tripped me, and the doctors made me feel like I was less of a person than them. Its a complete nightmare. I felt degraded.Long story short, I’ve dealt with my fair share of “itchy” moments and I’m so glad that I discovered Bliss Healthcare. They provide an experience that is the complete and polar opposite of the care you would typically receive at your local Health Department or Emergency Department at a hospital (no offence Health Department).Youre not walking past pregnant women or getting out of the way other patients with traumatic injuries, just to whisper to the triage nurse the reason youre there. The name “Bliss Healthcare” is simple, pure, and is indicative of their overall practice. As soon as you step foot in their lobby, you’re greeted by a blissful, warm, inviting, and most importantly, a non-judgmental atmosphere. The reception staff are friendly and organized and keep everything moving with a perfect flow. The intake staff and nurses are so kind, warm, knowledgeable and informative, personable yet professional. Dr Roberto Ortiz is nothing shy of a godsend. He is the kindest doctor I have ever met in my entire life. He is incredibly intelligent and professional, but unlike most doctors, he is approachable, and isnt one to judge. He spends time with his patients to go over anything they may be experiencing and is open to discuss possible treatments or provide resources for mental health related concerns.Bliss Healthcare has transformed the unfavorable aspects of medical care and has gone above and beyond to ensure all patients, whether heterosexual, or members of the LGBTQ+ community, feel like there is a place to go where you’re not judged or shamed, but welcomed and a member of the family they care for. Ive had the worst experience with Bliss Cares. Ive been trying to get in contact with them for weeks, and each time I call Im either brushed off, reconnected to a disconnected line, or put on hold for 20+ minutes then hung up on. Theyre the worst people to get in contact with.Ive been trying to get a script filled but the first time the fax was sent over, they didnt even look at it. I called to make sure they got the second time I sent it over, no one called me back. I asked if they woman could just make sure it came through, but she said no. I told her about my frustrations because I keep getting ignored, but she didnt even care.This place is filled with folks who dont care about their jobs. Especially front desk, aside from one or two girls there who are very sweet. The others are always eating on the phone or laughing with employees while Im trying to talk to them.Not to mention the doctor I talked to made me incredibly uncomfortable, and Ive been hit on during a session with one of the coordinators there.10/10 would not recommend.

Dr Ortiz is the best and the staff is always friendly. However, this office has a serious issue with scheduling and time management. I’ve learned that I have to take a half day off work every time I have an appointment. I sit at least an hour in the waiting room (past my appointment time), then usually close to an hour in the exam room before the doctor comes in. I’ve been a patient here for over two years and the doctor is extremely thorough and always takes the time to explain everything in detail.Something needs to be done about the scheduling. This would be a 5 Star review with nothing but good things said if not for the hours and hours I’ve spent waiting in this office.
