Sherry Neyman, MD

This place is a cattle call! I have never seen the Dr. Neyman only her PAs.No one answers the phones. Ive requested medical records to be forwarded to my new Dr. And no one responds. MY new doctors office has reached out several times and no one responds. The last appointment I had there, I drove for an hour at 8 oclock in the morning, only to arrive and they said Im sorry.We cant see you to day when it took six weeks to make that appointment.Its shocking how bad the Care is.Here.

I am sharing this post from a very sad and disheartened place. I’ve been a loyal patient for over 15 years. I saw Brittany 🩵 her former PA for most of my visits. I used to absolutely love this doctor and wouldnt consider a change despite how many moves I made that put me farther and farther away from the office.However, things are not the same anymore. I have been experiencing a very frustrating experience/situation over the last few months/year and very specifically this week. I decided to look at the reviews to see if it was just bad luck with me. Sadly, it’s not the case.If you look at the most recent review from a year or less about being treated poorly, never having your call returned, and not enjoying the total patient experience then you’ll understand why I felt passionate enough let people know that they should find another doctor if they are looking.Please note it is not Dr. Neyman herself, she is quite amazing and talented and helped me through some challenging past times but rather her business and everyone running her front and back office. Who you must work with 90% or more of the time if you want to see her, so sadly, it’s just not worth it. With a heavy heart I will go to a new doctor.Update 8.14 - I have submitted two call back request via the website and called two times. I spoke to a woman (her name was very difficult to get) who ensured Tory would call me back and she herself promised to call me two business days later to ensure Tory returned my call. Someone did call immedietly (yay) but I missed it (why) and left no voicemail. I then called back and was sent to the scheduler voicemail and that was last week. I waited for the call two days later to make sure we had connected and it never came. No voicemails. No emails. Checked my voicemail to make sure it was not full. At this point I want to see the doctor as I am so behind on my annual I am getting uneasy and I want to get my records in person for my next doctor. Can someone please call me back and ensure you connect with me? My next step is to show up in person and that seems so unnecessary.

Trying to get into contact with people at this office is impossible, Ive called multiple different times and have been on hold for 30 minutes to an hour each time before Ive given up and decided its not worth my time. I called on multiple different days at multiple different times and it doesnt change the results. No one answers. Its a shame cause Dr Neyman is great but I cant even make appointments online cause that option was removed and you cant make appointments on phone calls cause no one answers the phones.

Dr Neyman is awesome and she is extremely patient with her patients but the service we get from the staff when not in the office is extremely disheartening and rude. I got my labs done and they were supposed to be sent to another specialist and they did not bother to even upload on the patient portal. I called the office and the nurse gave an extremely rude reply saying call the CPL if you need them. I am planning to switch to a different provider due to this hurtful behavior. They were very good a few years ago , off late the service has gone down drastically.

When I have been in the office, my care has been fine. I have seen Emily most of the time and she has been attentive and listens. I saw Lauren once and I was not pleased, although when she has called me on the phone she has been fine. The service when you are not in the office, is AWFUL. I am switching to a new practice because of it. If you have blood work done (I have to have it done frequently) no one ever calls you about it. I have to call the office, and on more than one occasion it will take more than a week for someone to return my call. I let this go the first three times, but now this a regular occurrence. I called and expressed my displeasure in service with the receptionist and was told that now that Dr Neyman has her separate Helio Health office, things are a little hectic. That may have been an acceptable excuse months ago, but it isnt anymore. The lack of patient service is terrible. I am moving on.

It was my first appointment with Dr. Neyman as my previous doctor has retired. Dr. Neyman really listened to me as we discussed some of my special circumstances and she understood my needs. As she assured me I was in the right place, I really felt comfortable with her and our plan forward. I cant say the last time I was excited to see a new doctor!

Very friendly staff and I loved Dr. Neyman. It was my first visit and I felt that I was given the time to explain my healthcare needs. I wish I had found her years ago, however I am grateful to have her now. Also, the office shares a lab across the hall and the ease of lab work was so convenient. I can’t say enough positive comments about this practice.

Dr. Neyman was so compassionate and made me feel extremely comfortable! She addressed all of my concerns and reassured me that my health concerns were legitimate and that she sees patients like me all the time. I already feel so much better after our first visit; she is truly amazing!

Dr. Neyman is absolutely amazing! She is a skilled and knowledgeable doctor but more than that she is a kind and compassionate healer. She is one of the most enthusiastic, positive, and charismatic people I have ever met. Her staff is wonderful and helpful and kind too. I’m glad to be their patient.

Dr Sherry Neyman was recommended to me by a dear friend and my PCP also suggested her, I have my first appointment done by her and she is exactly what I needed and I cannot be thankful enough for that. She is amazingly thorough and very clear in her approach plus was also a good listener, when it comes to patients concerns and their ground realities. She was able to keep all the factors in mind and came up with a good treatment plan.

This was the best medical experience I’ve had in a long time. From the friendly person who checked me in, to the nurse who took my history, to Dr. Neyman herself, they could not have been nicer. I felt very confident in the advice and information I was given, and in the treatment I received. At every step, it was clear that my comfort was a high priority. It was very nice to feel so genuinely cared for, in a warm and very professional manner. This is what every doctor and their office should strive for!

EDIT: After several visits this past year I still give a 5-star review! Every single person I’ve come in contact with has been friendly and happy which says a lot about the environment they work in! Today, Cynthia at the front desk absolutely made my day. She is so friendly and personable and a great way to start off and end a visit!!1st visit: Just had my first visit and I feel like I’ve known Dr. Neyman forever. Very personable, informative, and real.

Just had my first appt with Dr. Neyman. First impression: she is AWESOME! She spent time to listen and provide a caring approach to address my concerns. She clearly has a great understanding of women’s health in the year’s beyond childbearing. Grateful to have found her! Staff was friendly and professional too.

I have been going to Dr. Neyman, oftentimes seeing her PA and NPs and I went to another Doctor within the group because it was closer to my new home. Big mistake there! I am back driving a little more, but I will never leave Dr. Neyman again. She and her team are the best. I feel heard and I dont have to worry about the care I receive being anything buy amazing.

Dr. Neyman’s Office is efficient and orderly. During the pandemic, they sent clear communications about check-in procedures and safety requirements. I had total faith and comfort levels during my appointment. dr. Neyman is always personable, listens to your issues and never says “it’s in your head” or “nothing is wrong” when you feel that something is off. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Avoid this office if you are self-pay! This review has more to do with the office and billing management than the Dr. I went to see Dr. Neyman based on a friends referral. I am a self-pay patient who paid in full each time I went. The receptionist gave me a small discount each time. Then I started receiving invoices for the balance due. I have spoken to the office staff numerous times (no returned calls), sent 2 emails through the patient portal (no response) and talked to their billing office 2 times (no response the 1st time - still waiting on the 2nd time). Today I received a debt collection notice in the mail. I am beyond livid that I have tried many times to resolve this with no response from anyone in that office!

I have seen 15 different doctors and specialists for my endometriosis and Dr. Neyman was the first doctor I felt actually listened too, believed me, and made me feel like I heard. She is such a compassionate and kind person and that carries into her practice. I’ve seen her once and I can honestly say she has changed my life. I was crying happy tears before I even made it out of the lobby. There is a very good reason she has been voted the best so many times.

Dr. Neyman is awesome! I refer her to all my clients and friends. She is dedicated to your health, and now her services expand to your outer health. Skin care! I have an appointment this month for a consultation with her nurse esthetician. I am excited to have health care professionals overseeing my overall inner and outer health needs.

Dr Neyman is a very personable doctor who truly cares and listens. She is very knowledgeable about women’s health. I felt her thoughts and then a plan for hormone replacement was individualized specifically to my symptoms and test results!

Dr. Sherry Neyman was referred to me by a friend and this was one of the best referrals ever! Dr. Neyman is professional and knowledgeable, but also very personable and easy to talk with. Dr.Neyman is so incredibly amazing. I had surgery with her the end of last year and she is a fabulous surgeon, and her staff is top notch. I felt seen, heard, appreciated, and she got my body feeling 100% after years of undiagnosed pain from other doctors. I am soooo incredibly thankful!!!! 10/10, would highly recommend.

Dr. Neyman is very personable and easygoing. A friend recommended her. This was my first visit, so I look forward to getting to know her better. The staff was friendly, and the checkin and wait was brief. Dr,. Neyman’s exam was quick and painless, and she listened to and responded to all my questions and set my expectations on lab results timing and next steps. Dr. Sherry has completely changed my life before seeing her last year I have seen countless doctors with no resolve. I wish we could clone her she is so awesome and thoroughly explains things. To those of you reading this my Dr. Is better than yours!!! Highly recommended its September and shes booked for December already and that speaks volumes.

I absolutely love Dr. Neyman! Apart from delivering my children, she has walked with me through multiple life events. I know that she genuinely cares about her ladies physical and emotional health. I am thankful for her wisdom, compassion and insight.

I have had to contact the Texas Medical Board and Texas HSS. This practice is incredibly difficult to contact.I could not access my patient portal, get through to a nurse or get a response after four emails and countless calls.

Dr. Neyman is outstanding, thoughtful and compassionate. She is the best in what she does! Her staff is great and they help create a welcoming and warm environment.

My experience from check in to check out was flawless. This was my first time to see Dr. Neyman. I only wish I had found her sooner! She was so friendly, comforting, reassuring, informative, and compassionate. Her bedside manner is amazing! I would highly recommend her!

I have been to Dr Neyman in the past under a different insurance plan.This review does not relate to Dr Neyman at all. She is wonderful and compassionate. She is everything that you would want as your doctor. I wanted to return to her as my insurance plan changed again. I called to make an appointment with her and had to wait about a month. Because I liked her so much, it was worth the wait. My current insurance information was given at that time and no problem was indicated. I received confirmations of the appointment which I responded to. Today, two and a half hours before my appointment, I received a call from the office staff stating that they dont take my insurance. This really is an unacceptable office procedure. My advice is to dont take their word that your insurance is accepted. You might be as frustrated as I am right now.

Dr. Neyman is an excellent, caring physician. She never makes me feel rushed, and always answers all of my questions. Even when I had a question that was out of her area of expertise, she took the time to research an answer while I was in her office. I would recommend her 100%.

I love Dr Neyman. Shes so easy to talk to. She doesnt run in and run out to get to the next appointment. She always gives you the time you need. Most of all she truly listens to her patients. Ill be seeing her until she retires.

Like many of these other reviews, I share the same disappointment. My initial visit with Emily Cuyler was thorough and I left feeling confident in finding a great place for care (I had just moved to Austin and was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis and suffer ovarian cysts). However, the next two visits have both been extremely disheartening. Not only did they take nearly two weeks to give me lab results and ultrasound results, Emily didn’t express any compassion or empathy when I did let her know how disappointed I was in her care. After leaving multiple messages on the portal, she gave me a sterile response and option to administer multiple prescriptions (although I had told her previously I do not like to take anything unless absolutely crucial). This was the final validation I needed to end my “care” at this office. Writing a patient, who is in pain, off with a list of prescriptions to take isn’t how medical “care” should operate. Not only did she give a false hope for care, she also billed my unethically doing multiple codes that weren’t necessary. I worked for a medical office and I understand coding and ICD.10 and CPT codes (how doctors bill) and after speaking with my insurance, learned of this manner from Emily Cuyler. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this office for all of these reasons stated, but most of all, I wouldn’t risk your own time and health for some lousy “women’s health” that doesn’t even care about women to begin with. The facade only lasted a single appointment- then the truth of the practice comes out.

I’ve never felt more comfortable or calm during a meeting with a gyn. I had my first meeting yesterday, after a history of feeling like I wasn’t being heard with pain/endo. I didn’t expect her to embrace and listen to my story / thoughts / concerns, but she exceeded my hopes and expectations. I left the office feeling a renewed sense of hope. Thank you Dr. Neyman, and I look forward to our journey together!

I have been seeing Dr. Neyman since 2009. She is professional and has amazing bed side manner. I cant say enough about her and her staff. I cant imagine my life without her knowledge and personal care. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Neyman!

Dr. Neyman is just lovely. Even though it was busy, she took time to listen to me and didn’t make me feel like she was rushed. She took the time to explain everything to me in a way I could understand. All the staff -receptionist, RN, techs were friendly and warm.

Dr. Neyman is an amazing doctor and surgeon! After suffering years of constant pain, Dr. Neyman completed a full hysterectomy at 41 yrs old and no more pain...no regrets!Since surgery, Brittaney has worked with me on balancing hormones....she listens and is willing to adjust according to symptoms. The only negative thing that I experience from pellets is facial hair growth but they also offer laser hair removal so it’s a win-win for me! I used to have anxiety walking into the office but both Dr. Neyman and Brittaney are great at making me feel comfortable...thanks for helping me feel great again!

Dr. Neyman has been my OB/Gyn since I became pregnant over 17 years ago. She is a wonderful, brilliant and caring doctor. I trust her with all my female medical needs.

Dr Newman is the doctor you send your family members to see. She was warm and straightforward when describing the procedure to me. The Mona Lisa was not too unpleasant and was quick and painless. Thank you for taking a lot of time with me and making me feel less anxious about it.

I have been having menopause symptoms for what seems most of my life. When you look at the list fatigue, anxiety, sleep problems, weight gain etc.. you think you should talk with your GP and maybe you should but you should also talk with a gynecologist. Dr Neyman is great to work with! She is very knowledgeable about hormone imbalance. She helps you weigh through the many treatment options with out trying to push a specific one unless it’s medically necessary. She is also willing to answer all questions. I highly recommend you give her a try!

I had been seen by many doctors for years. None of which could ever tell me what was going on, besides just recently, I have a mass. I have been in extreme pain for months on end, irregular menstrual cycles, and consistent bloating of my abdomen. The pain in itself for most days is unbearable. I was seen by numerous providers, and finally told I had Endometriosis. This provider that finally diagnosed me with something couldnt help me, and referred me to another specialist.This provider I was referred to made me nervous as he told me that I needed surgery stat and that I would have to get pregnant within 3 months after, or I may never have a child. I am a 27 year old woman who has no children. As you can see this was very stressful as I am not ready for that obligation financially nor just in general at this moment. They did not hear my concern nor did they address other options after surgery.I was referred to her from Texas Free Market, and of ALL the doctors she has the most compassion, and really took the time to explain everything in a way I as a patient could understand, and was very sure as far as my options after the surgery ( which was more then my initial provider offered). I would recommend her to anyone whom asks me just based off of this consult. I am so very hopeful for this surgery and to get a form of life back. Her complete want to help patience at the most in-expensive way is beyond amazing. She was the first time I had felt a sense of relief in a while, and helped me feel like I wasnt going crazy with unknown pain and no options of fixing.

Dr Neyman is sensitive, thoughtful, understanding. She has had this procedure herself and can attest to its effectiveness. I am a little over halfway through and have experienced some relief to complete relief. Dr Neyman is confident things will continue to improve and I am hopefull as everything has progressed as advertised.

Dr. Neyman is personable and caring. She’s knowledgeable and helpful and down to earth. It is easy to talk to her and get multiple ideas and suggestions for various challenges. I highly recommend her!

Finally, a Dr. who listens to you, and is well versed in Bio Identical HRT. Im so happy to have found her! I would also like to mention that her PA was great and the front desk person was very nice. You can also get your labs done onsite which is always helpful. My wait time was brief, so an all around great experience.Linda Vandermause

Aweful experience, she was very disinterested, asked no personal questions and was out of the office in 1 minute. I had some personal things I wanted to discuss but did not get the opportunity. She did tell me that she should have taken the day off because many patients canceled because of bad weather !!!On my 45 minute drive home I was so mad that I called in a complaint about the visit. So far no follow up on the complaint.

Renaissance Womens center/Tx Women’s Health is still my choice for annual exam and mammogram. Sorry they discontinued their onsite bone density but at least they have an affiliate imaging office close by that will coordinate with them so you can get your annual exam, mammogram and bone density all in one morning or afternoon in two offices close to each other. Dr Neyman is good but was rushed today due to COVID backlog and she will be working Christmas Eve. I feel very comfortable at this establishment and know Dr Neyman is paying attention to my care

Dr. Sherry is the best! She takes the time to listen without typing away on a computer. I find that really annoying as a patient!Her PA is just as nice and actually returns phone calls!!Just a GREAT Gyn office all around.

Dr Neyman is amazing. I needed to have a colposcopy and biopsy. I had to hunt for a new obgyn as my Dr retired, it is very difficult to find a great dr that actually cares. I was traumatized by the pincher biopsies many years ago. They told me it wouldnt hurt, but it was a slow, long, painful torture!! Whoever said it didnt hurt is very wrong. I was told I would need to have it done again and I was so scared. I saw that Dr. Neyman uses a brush and numbing cream on her website. Which none of the other Drs would do that I called trying to find a new Dr. I went in for my appt with Dr. Neyman, she is wonderful, patient, caring, and reassuring. The biopsy was quick and painless. I am so grateful and found my new doctor. Thank you Dr. Neyman!!!

It felt like the assistant and the doctor didnt care about my concerns they were to in a hurry to get the visit over with. Everything thing I asked about they said it normal and had to do with the age. I requested to get blood work the Doctor gave me paperwork work she talked fast and I know the mask doesnt help but I couldnt understand what she was saying. Gave me my paperwork and walked way.

I willingly drove from Houston to continue to see Dr. Neyman. She’s amazing, listens to all your needs and is the least judgmental doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. I will continue to drive to see her!
