Dr. Michael Burks - Central Missouri Physicians for Women

I was 44 and knew I was a very high risk pregnancy due to age and prior loss. Dr. Burks was recommended to me by a friend and honestly couldnt have asked for a better birthing experience. He was the most gentle and kind doctor Ive ever had and explained everything in complete detail. He made certain I never left the office without hearing my babys heart beat. Even during the most terrifying experience of an amniocenteses, he guided me through it and I knew everything would be fine.I know he doesnt practice obstetrics any longer, but hes still an amazing gynecologist and an all around great doctor!

He delivered both my boys! He is such a great Dr and he listens to you and what you want!

He is the best OBGYN in Columbia. I have been to a few in town before going to Dr. Burks, I wont go anywhere else now. He has done a couple of my cesareans and has cleaned up the mess that other doctors have made with previous deliveries.

Dr Burks has scheduled an appointment too see my wife and I at 5:00pm today but never showed up, there was no phone call to let us know he wouldnt be there and no receptionist. We waited for half an hour until we gave up. Finding a new Dr, Burke lost a patient today.

He was my Dr. For my pregnancy in 2015 best experience ever I would definitely recommend.

Wouldnt go anywhere else..
