I always have a wonderful experience at Grand Rapids Women’s Health!Dr. Adam Blickley is a very knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor. He walked me through all of my prenatal visits, and made a point to answer any of my questions /concerns I had through the process. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing OB!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Blickley for 22 years, right when I was pregnant with my son.Dr B is kind, caring and very helpful with any questions or issues I may discuss with him. I know he has many patients but he always makes me feel as though he actually remembers me which is nice. He asks about my son by name, and what’s been going on in life since the prior year’s appointment, etc. a lot of doctors don’t take that time or make the effort. Dr. Blickley definitely deserves this rating.

Dr. Blickley delivered my youngest and I chose him as my doctor after my previous OB/GYN retired from the group. I couldn’t be happier! He always listens to all my concerns and answers all my questions. He is very thorough on his examination and will provide feedback during the exam. I am very happy to have chosen Dr. Bickley as my doctor.

Very short waiting time and visiting time in this office, is extremely important for me. Dr. Brickley is very knowledgeable and professional and friendly. I feel very comfortable and confident to maintain a great health under his care.

Dr. Buckley is one of the best doctors in the medical field. He takes the time to talk with you at your appointment. Makes you feel comfortable. Listens to your concerns, and explains things so that anyone can understand them. We need more Doctors like him to care for the patients. I would recommend him to friends and family.

I’ve been meaning to post a review. Dr Blickley took over my high-risk twin pregnancy very last minute in the midst of covid. He talked through my options with me extensively. He scheduled me for an induction and the first baby wasn’t coming until 1 am - he came to the hospital in the middle of the night to deliver my kids. Mine were ten hours apart - so, he SLEPT AT THE HOSPITAL WAITING FOR THE NEXT BABY. She didn’t come while he was there, but he came in to my room in the morning and checked on me and told me that he had to go because he had scheduled appointments at work. I completely understood and honestly cannot say enough about this man. They say that you never forget how you were treated during labor and postpartum and I will never ever forget how much Dr Blickley cared for me - medically and emotionally. I have since sent three friends to this practice - all have had amazing experiences. Truly, deeply, cannot rate this man highly enough. I felt safe, cared for, and definitely comfortable!

Dr. Blickley saved my sons life at 34 weeks old. This Dr. Is a true blessing. He listens to every concern and takes care of his patients and unborn babies. I will NEVER go to another office or OB/GYN in my life time. When he retires I will be devastated and stop having children.He delivered my daughter 5 years ago too and she is a gorgeous girl. Myself and my family can not express how that kfuk we are for him! THANK YOU Dr. Blickley you will always be a hero.

Being a first time patient at the Womens Health center, I was a little nervous considering being seen by multiple practices and not getting my concerns addressed. I was surprised by how Dr.Blickley addressed all of my concerns and managed to set up a plan of care for me during our first visit. He is also very informative and direct about what is going on with your body. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to be seen by a doctor who actually cares,about your health issues

Highly recommended! He delivered my 2 babies, and also helped me through a miscarriage. He listens when you feel you have a concern, and addresses them with ease and professionalism. I won’t go to another OB office, or doctor!

I wish it was possible to offer zero stars, but alas, one star will have to suffice.I had a terrible experience with Dr. Bickley. My OB was unavailable at the last minute and unfortunately Dr. Bickley was my doctor for a large portion of my 40 hour labor.He was short and curt with me from the beginning. He made several snide comments to me and made me feel very on edge and uncomfortable. The exams and procedures he performed were incredibly uncomfortable. All other staff, when performing exams, would give me a heads up or even ask permission before starting an exam. Dr. Bickley did not; he would simply begin without asking or warning. He did not talk to me during most exams, but instead talked to the nurses about me.I finally had enough and asked the nurses if they could keep him out of my room. The nurses were amazing and made sure that I did not see him again.Thankfully, he’s not my OB, so I probably won’t see him again. But I cannot recommend strongly enough that you find someone other than him.

I see Dr Blickley in this office. He is kind, gentle, articulate and knowledgeable. His office runs ontime and his staff is very attentive. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Blickley and staff are always right there to address and resolve any questions. My visits are arranged to accommodate my schedule as conveniently as possible and everyone is prompt and very kind. My trust in this office is beyond measure.

Dr. B was my OB for my first pregnancy in 2017, but wasn’t at the delivery (A pregnant OB delivered her). I had a non problematic pregnancy so I was pretty much in and out. He told me to cut down on the carbs (I did gain like 40lbs), but I was a server at a ff place.I had postpartum depression, he provided a medication and a referral to a therapist in the same building!He gave me an IUD. It caused me to bleed for a long time and ended up falling out less than a year later.2nd pregnancy: He was the only OB here that agreed to see me since I am high risk!It was such a headache to try and get into this office, but almost a month later I finally got to see an OB and also being seen at MFM.Dr. B has always greeted me with a smile! He has a very enthusiastic tone. I had a pap done and I had zero discomfort. This is a very kind doctor who gets straight to the point! Going to the OB/GYN can be scary, but he can help with any concerns you may have.If you have any urgent, non-life threatening problems here, just call the clinician staff and they will work very hard to figure out what’s going on!

We noticed at 40w our baby was not moving. We went to GRWH they were unable to find her heartbeat. My awesome Doctor, Dr. Hubbard was not available. Dr. Blickley had the sad task of overseeing the ultrasound and telling us our baby had passed on. Heartbreaking news that he delivered kindly. It was not the time for medical mombojumbo and he acknowledged that. He said perfectly and simply: This is a tragedy.He gave us plenty of time to cry in the ultrasound room had a nurse bring us to a room, brought us ice water. He discussed with us after I asked to have her delivered that day reasons to consider waiting: get your family together, let the news sink in, take a little time still carrying her. I NEVER felt these were commands suggestions to consider. We are glad we did, he suggested 3 days and we decided on 2.During the time we waited we gathered family and started to develop questions. I am glad he was wise enough not to get into details immediately after we found out our daughter passed away. I would have remembered none of it!Because my Dr. was on vacation Dr Blickley performed my Cesarean section. Himself and the hospital staff were above and beyond kind, lots of time for questions before I ever got back to the operating room.After the surgery Dr. Blickley visited often. We started talks about how this happened. He would take a seat bedside and very clearly explained our options on autopsy, and going over how her cord was positioned at birth and that it was not around her neck. He prepared us for the possibility of no definitive answers to come at all. He let me repeat questions more times than I care to admit! It was just difficult to take in everything. However he never gave the impression that he was annoyed or ready to move on. He suggested we take our time with our baby and our stay in the hospital.I am grateful for his kindness, wisdom, patience, and knowledge.

Dr. Blickley is a man who needs a whole lot of prayer. Sadly his “Job” was not to have empathy or compassion for an expecting mother and her unborn baby. He failed to check medical history and was negligent in care. I forgive this man and the rude staff he has. I pray that someone will show him the truth. I hope they will shine light on the darkness. It’s so unfortunate that he doesn’t get to know the hearts of his patients and listen to their concerns with compassion. I hope you don’t have the same experience if you choose this practice.
