Highly recommend her because of how knowledgeable she is. She definitely takes her time to listen and understand your situation and needs. She will explain what she will do and to treat your illnesses. She has gone above and beyond for me. She had delivered my baby healthy and safely.

Dr. Phuong Nguyen- Luu was really sweet and caring. I went to her when I was pregnant with my first baby. I loved how patient and attentive she was. She made me feel very comfortable and was never hesitant to answer all the questions I had during my visits. She promptly answered my questions in the patent portal as well. Im glad I chose her as my OBGYN. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB.

I had an appointment with Dr. Jose and the experience was wonderful. She took her time getting to know me to make me feel comfortable and asked me great questions. I found she was very observant and thorough. I’m so glad I see you found a great doctor.

The reviews about the staff being friendly and attentive and Dr. Luu being very attentive and asking informative questions are very accurate. However, I loved my first visit, but I went back for blood work for hormone issues and one part came bk positive. I wasn’t called in or explained about what it actually is. I had to call to let them know my results came in, and she sent them over to Dr. Luu. I was called next day and was referred to a specialist that can’t see me til January 2024.. today is November 2023! I’m a wreck, because not only am I waiting, but I have no clue what my results mean (had to google and I’m still unsure of my exact symptoms) if it’s urgent.. she didn’t call me in to explain my results. I was just called for a referral. Ik it’s prolly not her expertise, but at least put my mind at ease, if I’m waiting two months before seeing a specialist smh. I’m not saying don’t visit, because she’s a very attentive doctor.. I hate my results weren’t explained to me, and it’s a waiting game, unless I find someone on my own. I’m trying to stick with the Dr. suggestions.

Best obstetrician ever!! Dr. Nguyen-Luu is super sweet and extremely professional. She was luckily on call the day I was in labor and even though she was fully pregnant at that time, she was there with me throughout during my delivery! I had a great experience throughout my pregnancy with her! Kinda miss her and can’t wait to go to her for baby no. 2! :)

When we got to our positive results, we did a lot of research and were really confused. Being our first time, we wanted a doc who could help us with all our queries without making us feel rushed and we settled with dr. Nguyen totally based on her reviews and distance from our place. And it turned out to be the best decision for us.During all our appointments she was really patient and answered all our questions without making us feel like she is in hurry or anything.There were times when she could have easily prescribed us medicines for so many things and yet she had been really honest in all her suggestions.For all 8 months, she was just one email away.Even for post-op care, I had issues with my stitches and she helped me throughout. She didn’t wait for me to complete 6 weeks (like standard procedure) to have a look at my stitches when I mentioned the pain and took me in on such short notice.Been 3 months since I delivered and I had sent an email to her 4 days back and got a reply within few hours. That’s how much I could rely on her.I generally do not write reviews but I know how hard it had been for me to find a good doc and hope this review helps people like me.Thanks dr. Nguyen for the best first pregnancy experience.

Dr. Nguyen-Luu May have saved my life. Her recommendation of checking my blood for anemia due to my fibroids actually revealed I had severe anemia and I was able to visit the ER for a blood transfusion. Besides the saving life part, she has great bed side manner and is always friendly/helpful. As an African American woman, I’m always skeptical of doctors bc statistically we aren’t treated the best in comparison to our counterparts. But I 100 percent recommend and think I’ve found a new OB/GYN doc. Thank you so much Dr. Nguyen-Luu. 💗

Everyone was polite, friendly and also attentive & professional. Dr. Nguyen-Luu was very informative and easy to talk to. HOWEVER, during the time of my visit, I went in for irregular periods. They took my pee AND blood for pregnancy testing among many other things, as they do each time. I was prescribed medication to induce a period since I was really late and they had done their testing and apparently all was clear, so they prescribed me meds to induce a period. A month later, I had a MISCARRIAGE at almost 8 weeks!!! I was NEVER TOLD I was pregnant and am forever traumatized. They had ample opportunities to let me know that the reason I was late was because I was actually pregnant! Although I thought it was just another one of my irregular periods, I had negative pregnancy tests at home 2 weeks before my visit, after agonizing in the hospital for 2 days, I found out thatI WAS PREGNANT during the time I visited this place and wasnt informed. This doctor specifically said well run pregnancy testing even though you think you arent to be safe and NEVER did. Because of this NEGLIGENCE, I HAVE LOST A CHILD THAT I TRIED TO HAVE FOR SO LONG!!! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WISH TO HAVE AN ACTUAL DOCTOR!!!

Dr.Nguyen-Luu is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She’s so personable and she really seems to care about her patients. The staff at her office are awesome as well. They are just as caring as Dr. Luu. There is never a long wait when I have an appointment. On my first visit, Dr. Luu actually came in to get to know me a little better prior to providing my exam. I truly appreciated that. Previously, I would visit my PCP for my annuals. I was with my PCP for approximately 5 years prior to switching to Dr. Luu and my PCP didn’t even remember me as a client. Every time I would visit, she would ask questions that were asked and answered as if she never looked at my chart before seeing me. This wasn’t the case with Dr. Luu. I visited her in December for the first time and came back in March, because I found out I was pregnant. She remembered me and remembered our conversation that we had. I don’t think she knew how much that meant to me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Luu to my family and friends. Unfortunately for me, Dr. Luu will no longer be apart of my network providers under my insurance effective May 1st. So I will have to find a new provider, which really sucks. She’s an awesome doctor.

Everyone was polite, patient, and informative. As far as Dr. Nguyen I enjoyed how she let me process what she was saying then answer a question. It was my first visit with her and I’m glad that I chose her to be my OB. I look forward to this professional journey.

Probably she was having a bad day and unfortunately my wifes delivery was scheduled on that day. But as far as our experience goes, it was very bad and sharing it here. Nguyen was the oncall doctor covering Dr C ( who was our Gyn) She constantly kept telling my wife (who has taken epidural and her lower body was numb) that she is pushing wrongly during labor. Instead of encouraging her and telling her ways which can help her do better, she was frustrated and very impatient. But we were lucky, we had 2 amazing nurses who constantly kept cheering and encouraging my wife. Special kudos to those kind nurses of medical city, las colinas. Without their support and encouragement , my wife couldnt have delivered vaginally.

I was quite nervous about going to a new doctor. When she entered, I was greeted with a joyful “Hi”. It was as if a friend had entered the room. She took time to listen to my situation, and made me as comfortable as possible. It was a great choice.

Phuong Minh Nguyen-Luu Is a wonderful doctor and I love the way she takes care of her patients. She is very knowledgeable .She is the best I have met and she listens with so much patience that I feel like visiting her anytime.I will recommend her to all my friends and family

Truly a one in a million Obgyn. I’m extremely picky about my personal Dr and she exceeded every test I through her way! Virtually no wait time, plenty parking, friendly, funny, extremely knowledgeable, talented, and very understanding of whatever birth option you may have. The office staff is equally amazing! You won’t be just a number with her but a friend!

I just had a Laproscopy surgery earlier today with Dr.Luu I was nerves didnt know what to expect but everything went Good. She knows what she does strongly recommend her also Dr.De Leon. Thank you Dr.Luu for taking care of me, keep up the awesome work to all of us womens like me who unfortunately have to go through Surgerys, IVF, Endometriosis etc. To help make our dream come true. Everyone was sweet!! Made me feel comfortable to be in that office as my first time. The women in the receptionist, the one with a piercing was really rude, every time she will get a call she would roll her eyes, it just seemed like everything bothered her....

Dr. Nguyen-Luu has been knowledgeable, caring, and just amazing from day one. I’m so happy I found her!

Dr. Phuong Nguyen is amazing doctor. I was well cared during pregnancy till labor. From now on she is my OBGYN only.

She is an alright doctor (not the best, not the worst), but their billing department is the worst! They charged me first, then billed my insurance incorrectly. I had to tell them you fix it, and after months and months of constant checking in with them and bugging them, they finally charged insurance correctly so I could get the money back that I shouldnt have had to pay in the first place.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to see the doctor. This is strictly the front office secretary. I had an appointment scheduled. First I found them through ZocDoc stating the accept my insurance. I called my insurance just to make sure and they told me that she accepts my plan. When I went in she told me we don’t accept that form of insurance. The way she explained it didn’t even make sense. I called the insurance while at the office and again they told me she does accept Humana and my specific form. When I asked her to speak with the insurance on the phone she looked at me and said I don’t need to I know we don’t accept that insurance. The lady on the phone was shocked. I left and found another doctor and the representative from the insurance company filed a complaint. She was very arrogant and thinks she knows it all. And if they don’t take my insurance they need to fix it on their end so that more people don’t fall into the same predicament.

Dr. Nguyen is honestly the best OBGYN I have come across. She takes what I would like into consideration, makes her suggestions and together we agree on what to do to better my health which I appreciate.

Went to see dr Phuong and my insurance was acting up but the receptionist was extremely patient and polite. The doctor experience was just as I had read in the reviews, she was polite and pleasant. Definitely is going to be my doctor as this was my first visit.

Dont bother scheduling an appointment through zocdoc with this practice. They will not confirm your appt for days, wont bother try to contact you regarding the appt, and will just cancel your appt in the end even before scheduled appt date. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, such hassel.

I absolutely loved Dr. Phuong Nguyen-Luu. She is kind and considerate everything that you look for in a doctor. She takes the time to make sure you are at ease and is overall genuine.

Dr.Luu is amazing she patiently listened to all my concerns. I went for an annual check up and she made sure that all my questions were answered. If I could give a 10 out of 5, I would.
