The staff greeted me warmly and they were very welcoming. Dr Pei asked very detailed questioned about my conditions and also allowed me to ask any questions I had. The acupuncture was painless and I left feeling a lot better than when I entered their office. I would definitely be back for more acupuncture and I would also recommend this facility to my friends and family.

I have improved so much since coming here. Kenny is amazing and has helped me to heal where modern medicine had given up. I have also had several acupuncture sessions that were wonderful, the most recent being with Marty. I highly recommend this group to help you on your path to healing.

Was over my due date for our first baby and was desperate to not get induced. Decided to try acupuncture to induce labor it was so relaxing. Went into labor a few hours after my visit!

I have a broke my tailbone in 1998 and have had sciatica and a domino effect of things since. I have ruined my bones by taking traditional steroids and nsaids this is the only thing that helps and there are no side effects. Arrived for my first visit with pain from injuries and arthritis. After my deep massage with Kenny, I have movement I had lost and a deep relaxation for all of my body and special emphasis on the two most significant areas of discomfit. At age 80, I am feeling capable now to participate in a new walking program I am participating in, and more stretching and regular exercise to revitalize my body. Ill be continuing with regular visits with Kenny. My body feels ten years younger after one session!!!

I went to the clinic sometimes three times a week before I left Columbia. It was sometimes the only place where I didn’t feel anxious!! I have back problems as well as carpal tunnel, both from overworking and I definitely noticed a big difference pretty early on. They are very knowledgeable and kind here. I highly recommend!!

I came to them a few months ago for help with fertility issues and have since seen my hormones level out, my anxiety decrease, and my overall well being improve dramatically. I have been to other acupuncture clinics in the Columbia area and when a friend raved about Palmetto Acupuncture and recommended I see either Dr. Martin or Dr. Alison I went in for a visit. I was met with very kind and compassionate healers who actually listened to my issues. After a couple of visits I was completely pain free for the first time in 20 years. I never thought acupuncture worked. But after going in for my first ever visit, I am now a true believer . Pei Xu Ph.D. She made me a believer. I was in so much pain when I went in she took time to treat me and explained everything that she was doing. My range of motion was way better when I finished my therapy.

I have never been to an acupuncturist and didnt know what to expect..Treatment was very relaxing.Similar to a deep tissue massage. My back was in miserable shape and my quality of life and mobility was slipping. Several treatments in Im playing golf again for the first time in 20+ years with little to no pain. I have used PAHHS for over four years for everything from chronic sinusitis to indigestion and Achilles tendinitis and stress! I have been sinus infection free after three sets of ear tubes and lots of antibiotics before starting acupuncture. Martin Herbkersman and his staff are knowledgeable, kind and careful especially during this crazy pandemic. My grown daughter, as well as many friends have started treatment based on my great results!! Fabulous to be receiving treatment that’s good for you in particular and in general!!

This place is fantastic. The staff and practitioners are professional and friendly, the space is clean and calm. I have my life back! Prior to Palmetto Acupuncture my quality of life was at an all time low. Struggled for 8 years with chronic foot pain. Saw 2 orthopedic doctors with no relief. Was skeptical of acupuncture so tried it as a last resort on a friend referral. She and her husband told me they got foot and knee pain relief through Palmetto Acupuncture. 4 visits and no more chronic foot pain!! I love Meghan Cole and learned so much from her! She is a wealth of knowledge. I took the time to write all this in hopes to encourage others to give it a try. I might just change their life too.

We absolutely love Dr. Herbkersman and Palmetto Acupuncture Clinic. He has helped us with several issues, ranging from hypertension to physical pain. I saw hm once a week during my last pregnancy and it helped immensely. (My first two children were born early, but our third was born at term!) I would recommend him to anyone looking to explore acupuncture. Hes knowledgeable without being pushy and is very easy to work with.

I’ve seen dozens of Acupuncturists in my life and Martin Herbkersman is one of two that were able to effectively manage acute pain. He will make you comfortable with the treatment and work towards a holistic goal for healing. I’ve seen acupuncturists that did not help whatsoever, so I’d recommend someone who can really help if you are wanting to try acupuncture. Martin is the only one in South Carolina I know that gets results in treatment.

I come in with my wife who is suffering from bells paulesey which our Dr. suggested acupuncture along with their treatment and I was using a cane just to get around because of my lower back pain. Oh by the way the pain level was a 10. While she was getting her treatment I filled out one of the forms for an appointment, which I set up for the following Saturday. Dr. Allison notice that I was playing musical chairs trying to get comfortable. Also my wife had mentioned how bad my back was hurting me. She asked me when my appointment was. When I told her next Saturday she said come on back Ill treat you know. That changed everything thing to awesome. I went from level 10 pain to a little stiff and NO PAIN AND NO CANE. I cant wait for my next treatment.

I have seen Marty off and on for many years. I initially came to him to deal with my tennis elbow and general anxiety. The tennis elbow is gone, and the general anxiety is much better. Since then, I have gone to see him fora variety of reasons (aches and pains, and sometimes more). He is a very professional guy who puts you quite at ease. I have recommended him to many people. He is top notch!

Super friendly staff. Marty listens to his patients and lets them tell him what is going on with them health wise. His treatments are on point and I usually feel better walking out than I did going in. Simply the best in this town.

Amazing therapists but most expensive in town. Hoping for a practice to open community acupuncture to drive down the costs. Sadly, at $80 a session, its quite difficult to maintain.
