Came here due to heavy prolonged menstrual bleeding. No exam or blood work… was given birth control pills and guess I had pcos. FF - week and a half I went to get second opinion as I was still bleeding. I had hemoglobin level 5.7 and was essentially bleeding to death. Rushed to er. Don’t have pcos but a whole other situation. The people are friendly I guess but maybe should put a bit more care and energy into making sure patients are safe. I came here bc I was between insurance providers. I thought they would help me being as when I was in HS (20 years ago) they cared about women’s health not just controversial procedures.

Came in for information on contraceptives and left the SAME day with STI testing and an IUD which was very painful for me but the nurses and staff were very helpful and kind and offered support during and after the procedure and now Im set on contraceptives for the next 8 years. :) Cant believe how quickly they could help me (it was very slow on this day) and how friendly everyone was. Thanks all

I dont know what went wrong for the other reviewers trying to get HRT, but everything went perfectly for me. It was a fast visit, all of my tests came back quickly, and staff were helpful and nice. The only problems Ive had are due to my pharmacy and are not PPs fault at all.

I live two hours away from this PP location. When I tried to make an appointment for an IUD insertion in my area I had so much trouble. Every where I checked was either not taking new patients or was booked out for months. Found this location through the PP website and noticed an appointment available two days later so I booked it. Gina placed my IUD. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and answered all of my questions. Everyone on the staff was incredible and even had someone offer to hold my hand if I needed support because I was so nervous. I was in and out within 45 minutes of my appt time. This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with womens healthcare. Support Planned Parenthood!!

Gina did an amazing job of placing my IUD and removing an arm implant. She was so talented and professional, answered all questions, and made me feel very safe. I had very minimal pain in both procedures and definitely recommend this facility to people looking for birth control options!

I agree with previous reviewer that is is not good for trans healthcare. I had one HRT appointment they said it was completely covered and they said I need to do lab work at Quest. They sent a link to set up and appointment for Quest that led to getting covid testing at Quest. I didnt do the labs and later got a call from PP asking for $165 for the HRT appointment. After I said they told me it was covered they said trans healthcare isnt covered under the program. Within the same phone call and me telling them I was told it was covered the person said its $165 for the lab work and even though I didnt do it Quest still charged them. Now Im stuck without a HRT doctor because I am not paying for something I didnt even do not was told I would need to pay for.

I had my first exam there in 4 years. Im very shy and get nervous and they were so friendly and had a very sweet bedside manner. They made me feel comfortable and offered free testing for bloodwork for stds. The woman who took my blood did such a good job that I didnt feel it a bit.

I got my iud removed and reinserted at the Columbia, MO location. All of the staff were extremely nice and professional. Veterans were knowledgeable and forthcoming - new employees were attentive and reassuring. Great experience - Highly recommended!

Up until this week I would have given a 4.5 star review. Unfortunately, circumstances have changed. I have a medication I take weekly and they have failed to call it in in a timely manner, so I am close to missing a whole week. Ive been trying to get in contact with the clinic for FOUR days now with absolutely zero response, and my pharmacy has tried and failed to get in contact with them multiple times. Out of a dozen times Ive called during business hours, the phone has been answered once and I was told my prescribing nurse would call me. This was an empty promise. Im about to throw jn the towel and spend money I dont have on another doctor. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Awful for trans Healthcare, I took off work for an appointment only to be berated and told theyve been trying to call me for months which they have not. They will say the nurse that does blood draws is not there and send you to quest diagnostic to spend more money. Go literally anywhere else if you want trans Healthcare.

Was on hold for almost an hour to make a appointment and no one answered so I did it online and called the next day and found out I can’t bring 1 year old son with me so I had to cancel. Supposed to be a place that supports women etc yet I can’t go to my appointment because I can’t bring my son. Not ideal for single moms . Find somewhere else to go.

Im 30, married and proud to say I have no children. Thanks to the sliding pay scale that Planned Parenthood offers for birth control. I just moved and my prescription will be up by the end of the year and I plan on heading here

Their services are great and friendly however they do not have very good organization with their appointments. When you schedule an appointment at a certain time you expect to be seen within 30 minutes of that time not spend your entire afternoon or morning there! Everytime Ive had an appt. I end up being there for 3-4 hours! Its ridiculous!

Planned Parenthood performs a number of service for the community, from providing contraception, STD screenings, and womens health services. Theyre a valuable (and sometimes the only) health care option for the Columbia area.
