It’s not like it used to be. I have been a patient of OBGYN for 35 + years. The minute I walked in it was all money, money, money, insurance, insurance won’t pay for urine tests. I insisted on taking a urine test since it is my annual and find out the results for not good. The doctor tells me I need to be concerned about the urine test expenses. I go to the gynecologist once a year to make sure that I am healthy and yet, I walk out feeling like they are more concerned about the money then making sure that my health is where it needs to be.SadIt’s turned into a total business and not a health practice. I was upset in the examining room when the doctor left because I was so overwhelmed with the disturbing news that I may have issues and yet even the doctor was so concerned about getting their darn money. It’s not like it used to be with Dr. Vandell and that group was there. It’s very disturbing especially as I’m getting older I would like a doctor that I could rely on to talk to me about how I am and how I can make my health improve. I’ve been a custom to have my annual as the doctor would sit down and talk to me about my life and health choices, it was always a sense of comfort this now it’s just business and it’s awful.We need to bring back the old fashion values of the medical profession. Everybody, so darn money hungry they look over the core of a patient doctor relationship.

Have not needed Gyn since 2013. Today I called my gynecologist after speaking with my Primary care Dr for a problem and was told they consider me a new Medicare patient and they would not see me. When I asked where are Medicare patients supposed to get care, she told me to go to a walk-in.Very rude and unprofessional.

The doctor canceled my appointment last minute so I had to reschedule for a day I did not have off. On the day of my reschedule appointment there was traffic so I called and said I would be a few minutes late. My appointment was for 3:45. I got there at 4:01 and the doors were locked and the staff gone.Why would you schedule someone for an appointment when you are going to shut your office 15 minutes later? How could I have had an actual obgyn appointment in 15 minutes? This is extremely frustrating and Im an going to find another doctor because if it.
