Two years ago, we embarked on our IVF journey, and today we are finally holding our precious baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Bowling and her entire team for making our dream come true. Carolina Conceptions provided exceptional care, even when our first transfer was unsuccessful. Dr. Bowling was consistently reassuring and encouraging throughout each step of the process. A heartfelt thank you to the nurses, front desk staff, and the billing department for making this experience both possible and enjoyable. We have our precious baby because of the help of Dr. Bowling & the incredible staff here at this clinic. My wife and I wanted to be sure we found a clinic that was inclusive while on our search. From our first appointment, we felt nothing but positive energy & everyone we encountered was so knowledgeable & friendly. Through our journey, the monthly cycle plans were so clear & customer friendly on the portal , explaining exactly what I needed to be doing leading up to transfers. I always knew what to expect at each visit. I’m so happy we stuck with Carolina Conceptions as I truly believe they had our best interest at heart, wanting to help extend our family. Once we graduated from the clinic at 8 weeks gestation, it was bitter sweet . We were in good hands & ended up having to say “see you later”. We are so thankful for this clinic.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Carolina Conceptions! The doctors and providers we worked with were truly great! We worked very closely with Karen Onori who was so empathetic and takes the time to truly know you. My wife and I felt so seen and heard here and we have Karen to thank for that. Our experience with the front desk, all the nurses, and the doctors we had (Dr. Meaghan Bowling and Dr. Monica Schointuch) was fabulous. We could not thank this practice enough for such a wonderful experience during a really stressful and at times difficult journey.

We had a wonderful experience at Carolina Conceptions, our RE was Dr. Bowling but we also worked with other providers at the clinic throughout our journey who were also amazing. This clinic is like a well-oiled machine, they are extremely organized, efficient, and all of the staff is compassionate. I went into the experience expecting it to be similar to other healthcare practices where you have to be your own advocate to make sure things dont fall through the cracks, but they truly allow you to be a patient and they take care of everything else. We always felt comfortable at Carolina Conceptions and were honestly a little sad to transition to the OB office when it was time. We ended our CC journey with a successful live birth and could not be more grateful that they helped us build our family. I highly recommend this clinic - even if youre not 100% sure if you should go to a fertility clinic, I recommend getting a consult, as they will show you compassion and take all your concerns seriously.

Thank you CC for making our dreams come true. We came to CC from another fertility clinic and the difference in care was night and day. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and patient amidst an emotionally charged infertility journey. Throughout our experience (3 rounds of IVF before the birth of our daughter), it was reassuring to feel the support of our providers and the encouragement that we would figure out a plan to achieve a healthy pregnancy. CC truly was a beacon of hope when we felt like we’d never be able to grow our family and we are forever grateful.

The Doctors have great expertise in Fertility and are very passionate, compassionate, transparent, patient and very supportive in your journey making you feel confident. This is a baby farming operation. In other words, unless you want to use a surrogate to have a baby, they are not interested in treating you with respect or professionalism. Absolutely disgusted with how my experience with them was handled. The staff - I had no issue with. It is the doctors. Or a particular one that I had my experience with. Abysmal.

My husband and I could not have better things to say about the team at Carolina Conceptions! We switched here after starting with another local clinic and are so glad we did! Dr. Johnson was our physician and she’s incredibly kind, calm, and knowledgeable. We appreciated the pace at which things moved along (we had to wait to get our first appt but once we were in things progressed quickly) and the compassionate care we received along the way. All of the staff were so amazing and as much as infertility sucks, we looked forward to seeing them. Heather and Lauren were my nurses most of the time and we grew to love them both. I recently starting going to CC. I wanted to highlight how amazing the administrative staff are. They are so kind, supportive, and caring. As someone that recently starting coming to seek treatment, it has been overwhelming and honestly a shock. When Ive needed to speak to the staff to schedule an appointment, they have been so helpful and supportive and that is greatly appreciated during this time. When I first called the clinic to just inquire about the practice, Pam was very knowledgeable and patient to help me navigate the initial process.

Nothing but wonderful things to stay about Carolina Conceptions, Dr. Bowling, and their staff! As a LGBTQ+ couple it was very important that the staff be understanding, knowledgeable and supportive of us throughout our IVF journey.The billing team was also amazing - we had a challenge with our insurance claim and Sandy was so patient and helpful!ONE year later and we are celebrating our beautiful daughter’s first birthday and planning our next embryo transfer!

We’ve had a very positive experience with Carolina Conceptions. When we first reached out about our initial appointment, they were prompt in returning our request and able to schedule us months sooner than other clinics. During our first appointment, Dr. Bowling discussed with us the different options we had. We decided on IVF. We never had to wait very long at appointments; they were done efficiently (getting us in and out, while still answering all questions). Everyone we encountered at CC was friendly and helpful. We had a successful egg retrieval, had our embryos tested, and are currently pregnant after our first frozen embryo transfer- due in about two months. I had a scare early on in my pregnancy, where I experienced somewhat heavy bleeding. CC was able to get me in for an appointment and ensure everything was still okay. Throughout that time, they were extremely supportive and understanding. We are extremely thankful for CC for helping grow our family and look forward to working with them more in the future.

North location is great. However, at the central location plan to clear your entire morning because you’ll wait an hour over your appointment time to be seen. Bad scheduling and foresight.EDIT: They also forgot to send my results to my primary clinic. It’s now past hours and I had to call the emergency line. Doctors must change medication dosage based on these results, so it could mess up your entire egg retrieval cycle if results are not sent and they can’t change your medication accordingly. Very unprofessional.

WATCH OUT BEFORE YOU GET CONNED HERE. This place was recommended by my doctors office, so I went there to get my tests done. They performed HSG Test and billed me with over a thousand dollars saying my insurance is out of network. Had I known this before, I wouldnt have chosen going here. They asked me to upload my insurance card while creating a portal online before they scheduled me for an appointment but they didnt tell me that my insurance is out of network. They said HSG test is looking good but they still want to schedule ULTRASOUND test with them. No thank you!The billing incharge came out and said they wouldnt be in business if they let their patients know before hand about the insurance being out of network which means they are conning their patients and also they recommend unnecessary tests and procedures.I wouldnt go back to them and I wouldnt recommend CC at all as I do not want others to be conned like me.

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! I went to them a few years ago to start my IVF process and the Specialist point blank told me that I was too fat for them to help me. I said to her “You are aware that plus-sized women get pregnant natural everyday…right?!” She said “Yeah I know that but WE won’t be able to assist you on your journey!” What was even worse was that I took a family member who is an RN with me so she could be a witness to whatever, good or bad to me.-I’ve met SEVERAL people that had similar or worst experiences with this place. Some years later I met another Fertility Doctor who told me “There’s no medical documentation ANYWHERE that says that being overweight prevents you from having a healthy pregnancy, if anything it would serve as extra cushion for your baby!”-These people are a JOKE. Please do your own research, read EVERY review with emphasis on the negative reviews and be WELL informed before including these heartless ssa people with such a vulnerable part of your life’s journey.-This commentwas also posted on Facebook!

A BIG thank you to Carolina Conceptions and their amazing staff! We have struggled with infertility for 7 years, and did IVF and it was successful on first try!!! The Doctors were so thorough with diagnosing the problem and giving the perfect personalized treatment! I personally commend them! Thank you to Dr. Johnson,Dr. Bowling,Dr.Meyer! The nurses too are amazing and my experience with all the receptioniss is just wonderful! If you have any infertility problems, consult them now. They will help you and have a personalized plan for you.

Staff was always friendly and received prompt responses to any questions. Dr. Park was our physician. Great bedside manners and always thorough! We just gave birth to our twins in January! We had 2 week NICU stay but now are home, healthy, and happy!

We had an amazing experience with Carolina Conceptions. Dr. Park was incredibly knowledgeable and kind through our whole time with the clinic. We were at a loss after being diagnosed with unexplained infertility, but he did a wonderful job explaining all of the options, cost implications, and success rates given our age if we were to take different routes.We ended up doing IVF and a fresh embryo transfer that led to our baby boy who was just born and is now almost a month old.We were remote patients with Carolina Conceptions, so most of our visits were virtual and we were able to do all of our monitoring closer to home just traveling to the clinic for procedures, the staff made this extremely easy and seamless working with the remote monitoring clinic.Anytime I had questions they were always returned quickly via phone call or the portal.For us it was well worth the effort of going to Carolina Conceptions from out of town! We also saw Dr. Johnson and Dr. Meyer during our round of IVF and they were both wonderful as well.We are so thankful for all of the staff that helped make our miracle possible.

My husband and I are so grateful to have found Carolina Conceptions. Dr. Meyer and Carolina Conceptions supported us through all of the steps and challenges we faced with infertility. I can honestly say that everyone at Carolina Conceptions (reception, CNAs, nurses and doctors) are extremely welcoming and understanding. We switched to Carolina Conceptions from another clinic in late 2022 and were very happy with our experience with Dr. Johnson! We felt the office was very on top of everything including scheduling, billing, etc and we had a great experience with IVF. We welcomed our baby in August 2023!

Pam at the reception is very professional, punctual and very helpful with her responses. She always greets you with a smile and assists with any questions. I have called various times to schedule appointments or to reschedule and she has been very knowledgeable of my time preference and she gives you various options to choose from. I am always left satisfied and at ease when I am dealing with Pam.

Since I was having trouble becoming pregnant, I visited Carolina Conception last year. I met Dr. Park, and he did an amazing job. Im here to suggest him to other women who wish to conceive. I am grateful to him for the seamless procedure; as a result, I have my baby today, and I am happier than I have ever been. Also, the nurses and the rest of the staff were outstanding as well. Its truly rewarding to become a mommy.

I absolutely love Carolina Conceptions, infertility has been a very long journey for my husband and I about 19 years. Dr. Parks office was the best decision I could have ever made, Thank you to Dr Park & his wonderful team here. This process was not an easy process, the stuff were always friendly and welcoming. Made you feel so comfortable in being able to talk to them. We are enjoying our little bundle of joy, she is 7 months now. Excellent care, wonderful outside-of-the-box thinking. Had two tries at a different clinic, neither of which worked, and one of which was botched. Had one try left, and went to Carolina Conceptions. I now have a lovely little baby.

After years of infertility we decided to undergo IVF. As I am writing this my son ,who we welcomed in June of 2023, is laying in my lap. Dr. Park and the other staff were awesome. They lay everything out for you that you need to do for success and are honest about what your chances of success are, as well as your options. The online portal is easy to use. We were very pleased with our experience and they made our dreams come true.

My husband and I came to Carolina Conceptions after 2 years of trying to conceive. We felt like all chances were lost, but we regained hope after several meetings and tests were completed by Dr. Bowling. After 7 months of treatments (medication, trigger shot, lots of tears and prayers), we conceived our two healthy twin boys! We could not be happier with the treatment and empathy we were provided through Carolina Conceptions, we will forever be grateful that we got to grow our family in this imperfectly perfect way.

My husband and I received excellent care at Carolina Conceptions throughout our journey with infertility. The doctors, nurses, billing, and administrative staff were all very responsive and helpful with any and all questions in a very timely manner. Dr. Park was very caring, straightforward, and made sure to educate us about all of our options along the way. We just welcomed our son and will never be able to express how thankful we are to this clinic!

Im giving this place 3 stars. I would have liked the doctors to be more involved. The nurses are the ones doing the monitoring appointments and making the calls during your visit on what you should do next. Also I didnt like that they had a male anesthesiologist when the womens privates are on display. There wasnt an option for a woman.

I started my fertility journey with Carolina conceptions in 2020 after being diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. I attempted 3 IUI’s which were unsuccessful. We then moved to IVF. I had 2 unsuccessful transfers before becoming pregnant with twins on my third/last transfer. I would not have been able to do this without the amazing guidance and help from Dr Johnson and her team. She really looked into all areas before we did the final transfer and I ended up with my beautiful twins! I could not be more thankful for this group of skilled individuals. They listened to my concerns and worked with me so I was comfortable and understood all that was happening.

Just started my journey with Carolina Conceptions but i have to say the experience has been amazing so far. We had to change doctors after relocating here 3 months ago and found CC to have great reviews online.After my initial consult with Dr Couchman, it was great to have Catie be a point of contact. She helped me to take care of everything from providing details of costs, helping me schedule my nurse appt and also update my pharmacy. That never happens in other clinics, where you are usually transferred from person to person. Very happy with the service so far.

I would not have my little girl today if it wasnt for Carolina conceptions. Everyone at the office was so incredibly kind and patient. They listened to all of my concerns and helped me every step of the way on my fertility journey. I cannot recommend them enough!

Highly recommend this group for your fertility journey! I was a patient at Carolina Conceptions for 11 months and only left because I graduated at 8.5 weeks with a healthy pregnancy. If it was possible, I wouldve wanted to stay with them my entire pregnancy! Dr. Johnson was my primary doctor, but during my time as a patient, I ended up seeing all 4 doctors for different procedures. Dr. Johnson is absolutely AMAZING and we LOVED having her as our doctor, but honestly all 4 doctors are wonderful, so you cant go wrong with any of them. After multiple miscarriages, I was a high anxiety patient, but Dr. Johnson and the staff never made me feel like I was a burden. I loved that I could email Dr. Johnson day or night and she was so quick to respond and answer any of my questions or reassure me if I was feeling anxious. Also, the entire staff (nurses, reception, lab staff) were so welcoming and reassuring. During my 11 months of MANY appointments (probably close to 100), I dont have one negative thing to say. I truly cannot say enough about how much we loved this clinic and Dr. Johnson. Go with them and you wont be disappointed!

I’ve been a patient a Carolina conceptions since 2019. I was seen by Dr.Bowling and she did a full work-up I was found to have a uterine septum and endometriosis. The best treatment for me was to do IVF I moved forward with this treatment and at first I wanted to wait we used other treatment options like medication first. I was able to successfully get pregnant through IVF. Dr. Bowling was very patient with me I really was negative and didn’t think I would be a mom but she always encouraged me to keep trying! She told me “women that become mothers don’t give up” so I didn’t give up! I highly recommend this clinic. Dr Parker is also very nice and knowledgeable I was seen with him a few times. The office staff is very friendly and my favorite nurse was Courtney she is very compassionate and knowledgeable about infertility. I also really connected with Sandra the financial supervisor she is very down to earth! And easy to talk too! I also recommend to look on the CDC before choosing a fertility clinic you’ll find that this is one of the best in NC.

Carolina Conceptions is an exceptional clinic! My husband and I received excellent care from the very start of our infertility journey. I never felt pushed to go with an option or plan I wasnt comfortable with, and I everything was always explained to us along the way. We ended up going through all the different options and found out that we needed to go with IVF. We were overjoyed to be successful in our first round. Our main doctor was Dr. Bowling, and she was incredible, kind, patient, and explained everything to us. Along our journey we would occasionally get other doctors (depending on if it was a weekend treatment) and they are all wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. In addition to great doctors, the nursing staff is wonderful! They have a number you can call with absolutely ANY questions or concerns and they always called me right back to give my advice or ease my mind. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful, and also great with answering questions. I have had other friends who have gone to other fertility clinics, and in speaking with them, it sounds like Carolina Conceptions goes above and beyond to explain all processes and outcomes...I never felt like I was in the dark, or confused about medications--and there a lot of questions that can pop up about meds! I would 100% recommend Carolina Conceptions to anyway embarking on their infertility journey.

Carolina conceptions is a wonderful clinic. All the doctors, specifically Dr. Myers, truly care about your journey and success. From the beginning Dr. Myers was straight to the point with a protocol and along the way, him and all the other doctors, made sure I was aware of everything that was going on and changed things as needed. We had success with our first round of IVF. Dr. Myers was easy to get a hold of (even answering emails on vacation!). The staff at the front desk was easy to work with, friendly, and worked really closely with us along the way given we were paying out of pocket.Overall, our experience with Carolina Conceptions was a positive one and we highly recommend them to anyone struggling with infertility and looking for success along the way. You will experience nothing but positivity, kindness, and support along the way. There’s no better clinic in the Raleigh area.

We wish we had come here first! We had been working with another clinic previously, and Carolina Conceptions is so much better. The folks here, from the front office staff to the nurses, doctors, and other staff members, are total pros, helpful, sensitive, empathetic, and understanding. They have made what can be such an overwhelming process so much more easy to handle, and the support they provide is so genuine and effective. Thank you!

My husband and I went to Carolina Conceptions for the first time yesterday, after having a poor experience at another fertility clinic in the area. From the minute we walked in, I knew this place was going to be different. We were kindly greeted and a nurse called me back before our appointment time to get my vitals. We were then called back right at our appointment time to talk with Dr. Couchman. She was very friendly and explained everything in a way we could understand. She was happy to answer all of our questions and we didn’t feel like she was rushing us. I had to have blood drawn and the nurse was also very nice and kind. Lastly, we met with Nikki, the practice manager and she was a wonderful help to us and explained everything from the financial side of things. The girl who checked us out was very sweet and she really took time to get to know us before we left. Overall our experience was amazing and I felt like everyone there truly cared about us. Going through infertility can be tough and having people who care is really important to me. I would definitely recommend Carolina Conceptions to others.

After 3 failed IUIs, moving onto IVF at a new clinic was the right choice for my husband and I. Carolina Conceptions truly cares about their patients. My previous clinic treated me like a number and it showed that the providers really had no idea on patients’ medical history. This is the last thing you need when dealing with infertility. Carolina Conceptions has caring and trustworthy doctors and staff. My first IVF was successful and I just had my miracle baby yesterday. I am very grateful to everyone at Carolina Conceptions for taking the time to listen to me and create a plan that was tailored to my wants and needs.

My husband and i both felt very comfortable with Dr. Meyer- appreciating his candidness, honesty, ease to communicate with, experience and compassion. He made sure we were comfortable through the process while explaining how each cycle would work. He was always available to get in touch with, making the unknown process feel less intimidating. If he was not available for my appointment he made sure it went well, and continued to stay positive through two cycles that failed. We loved Dr Meyer and his staff!The front desk staff is wonderful- so caring and kind! The nurses are very knowledgeable as well as all of the doctors- my husband and i are so grateful for Dr Meyer and staff. We just had our first son because of Carolina conceptions and will absolutely go back if needed for baby two!

I am so grateful for this practice. My husband and I suffered from unexplained infertility and I self referred myself here after a friend had a good experience. They were kind and thorough discussing treatment options. I love that this practice is up to date and participates in many clinical trials. Brittany, the study coordinator, was marvelous throughout the process. Every doctor I saw took great care of us. Dr. Bowling helped me to feel comfortable and I trusted her recommendations. This practice and our success made the 2 hr 15 min drive one way worth it for us.

As a first-year medical student, I had the privilege of shadowing some of the physicians, PA’s, and nurses at Carolina Conceptions. I was thoroughly impressed at how well the practice is run. Throughout my time observing, I was welcomed and treated with respect by everyone working there. The staff is extremely compassionate and works hard to meet the needs of each patient.

I had a very positive experience undergoing IVF treatment with Dr. Meyer and all the staff at Carolina Conceptions. There are always a few hiccups no matter what but everyone was kind, responsive, and genuine. The nurses are amazing, the only painless blood draw I’ve ever had. They are usually very good about calling you back quickly if you’ve left a message. The office did a great job of getting us started quickly so we could utilize our insurance benefits too.

I was referred to Carolina Conceptions after trying to get pregnant for over a year & experiencing a miscarriage. I met with Dr. Meyer who had a wonderful office/bedside manner. He was kind but honest & straightforward, which I appreciate. He explained our different options & after 1 round of injections I successfully became pregnant. The billing department was helpful & thorough in getting my insurance approval for medications so I could start the rounds of meds on time. The education on the medication & how to self administer was thorough & helpful. Each person I came in contact with at this practice was kind & professional.I am going on 36 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy & I cant thank Dr. Meyer & this practice enough for making our dreams come true. If needed, I will definitely be returning to this practice for future assistance.

Great experience! They quickly diagnosed my issue and helped me conceive within four months of my initial consult with the least invasive treatment. They took my insurance and my treatment was super affordable. They can always get you in really quickly and offer virtual appts. as an option if you’re not needing to be seen in person.I didn’t give it five stars because they don’t have an online patient portal and trying to get info. on next steps requires emailing your doctor or leaving a voicemail for a triage nurse to call you back.All in all I’m very happy; I just gave birth to a healthy girl and will definitely use them to conceive any future children. Definitely ask your gynecologist for a referral to this clinic if you are having or anticipate having any difficulties conceiving.

Carolina Conceptions was absolutely amazing to us. They helped us through every step of the process and I am happy to say that I am now almost 15 weeks pregnant with my second child (1st child was conceived naturally) thanks to them. Dr. Meyers was my main doctor and he truly is a great doctor and always responded to even the silliest of my e-mails very quickly. I also had the pleasure of dealing with the other 2 doctors during my routine visits to the clinic and they are just as great. The office staff there is just as great. They always remembered who I was and talked with me as if we were old friends. A great place to go to deal with such a sensitive and emotional issue. I highly recommend them!

If youre fortunate enough to have access to this clinic, its hands down the best choice. From billing, to scheduling, to communication, to availability, Ive never had a problem. Ive seen multiple REs across the nation and my best results are at this clinic. At the age of 41, Im currently 13 weeks pregnant. After failed retrievals and transfers at other clinics, the first attempt of both brought success. Dr. Meyer was my RE for the year long process, I would have a list of questions for him with each appointment. He would answer the questions with honesty and patience. He would also send me medical journals that related to my case so I was aware of the risks and success rates of the protocols. Through the process I also had appointments with the other physicians and they are all intelligent and high capable.I cannot recommend this clinic enough and I am very fortunate to have stumbled across it.

This practice is amazing. Great communication and service throughout our whole process of undergoing IUI from everyone that we encountered. Extra HUGE shoutout to our nurse, Mrs. Karen, for taking great care of us and being so incredibly patient and informative. We could not be more happy with the level of care rendered here. After 3 losses and multiple doctors, going to Dr. Johnson and going through our options was our best choice. She went over every diagnostic, option, and answered all our questions. Now my husband and I are expecting our first baby with their help and we cant be happier! Im so sad to be moving on to my regular OB but very thankful this team was here for my family.

My review is not on the doctors care because I never got see them. In Spring 2020, my OB sent a referral to them. I was contacted so after by Tina (I think that was her name). She was very thorough. We decided to postpone an initial visit due to covid. In August 2020, I called and spoke with someone in scheduling. She said I needed to fill out paperwork before she could schedule an appointment. I never received the email with the paperwork. I found out a few days later that I was pregnant, so I didnt need an appointment anyway. Fast forward to October/November 2021, my provider sent a referral to have a procedure done at this clinic. I followed up via phone call, and I was sent forms to fill out via email. After completing the paperwork, I also emailed and followed by phone (left a voicemail) because I never heard from anyone, and I needed to have the procedure at a specific time. Based on a lack of follow-up from administration, I would not recommend them unless you have time to waste.

After four years of trying we started our journey with another clinic but didn’t feel we were in the right hands. We had multiple recommendations from friends about carolina conceptions so we decided to switch. We loved Dr. Meyer from moment he introduced himself and knew we were in good hands. We saw most of the doctors during our treatment and always had a great experience. They all took the time to answer all of our questions. They made our dreams come true and we can’t wait to do it all again!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Carolina Conceptions. I felt comfortable with Dr Couchman from my first consultation. We used one of my frozen eggs and we are expecting a little girl in November!Dr. Couchman and the nurses (Taylor, in particular) were great and had a great bedside manner.My only suggestion, if possible, would be for them to have a person that answers calls vs an answering service. I live 2 hours away so other than my education class and transfer day, all communication was via phone or email. Even if they cant answer a specific question, there is something comforting about talking to a live person who tells you they will have someone get back to you.This was just a small thing, because in-person I felt well taken care of and they made everything very easy! Infertility is a scary and stressful situation to try to navigate but I found a lot of that was alleviated because the staff was so amazing! I would recommend them to anyone going through infertility.....and in fact, I have already told friends about them!

I’m not sure why but my first post got deleted.Just wanted to say that this is a great office. The doctors are all amazing and really know what they are doing. Dr Meyer was great. One of the Medical Assistants, Chrissy, is a breath of fresh air. The whole experience is scary and nerve-racking and she was so patient and so caring. She held my hand when I needed it. She truly made my things much easier for me . This office is lucky to have her. I would recommended this office to anyone that is trying to get pregnant.

When I arrived at Carolina Conceptions I was already anxious. We felt at ease after meeting with Dr Couchman. Over a course of a year we came up with a plan. Once we started our process we had some failed attempts. By this time Dr Couchman was set to retire. I was very bummed but she assured me her team was wonderful and would take good care of me. The good news is that I met all the doctors through the course of many appointments. At this point I was frustrated, we did a ERA and had no answers. I started to diagnose myself. I had a connection with Dr Park, a good friend of mine had a great experience. What I liked about Dr Park is he listened, he understood my husband felt out of the loop and took the time to meet with us both to hear his concerns. Together we came up with a plan of action. As I mentioned there were things I noticed through the process that lacked…my lining / infections. We decided to be proactive and address them.We felt good going into our transfer, still worried but hopeful. This time was different. We indeed have a positive result. The entire staff from when you walked in to the nurses all had a huge part in our journey. When you come in weekly for 6 months you really start to know everyone. I cannot express how comfortable I was. I also felt supported, I could easily get answers to questions from the nurse triage line/email. The only regret is that my husband was not able to be with be during our appointments due to Covid. So with that said I felt empowered to be in control of my process with the doctors. I can’t thank you all enough for making our dream come true. Thank you to the entire staff.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Carolina Conceptions and would recommend them to everyone that needs a little help with pregnancy. Dr. Couchman is an awesome doctor that was a positive force throughout our time with Carolina Conceptions. She is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and honest. My husband and I never felt rushed to make a decision or as though we were misinformed. The front desk staff is wonderful, they treat you as though you are part of the family. Towards the end, I felt like everyone was taking this journey with us. The nurses are all kind and compassionate as well. I started with Carolina Conceptions about 4 years ago and did a series of treatments while I was there. My husband and I finally decided to take Dr. Couchmans advice and try IVF. I am 14 weeks pregnant with a healthy and active baby boy. The team offers educational sessions on the science of IVF and are willing to discuss any and all questions you may have. They truly care about you as a patient and care about how emotionally, financially, and physically draining it can all be. I couldnt have asked for a better team to take me through this amazing experience!

We LOVE Carolina Conceptions, especially Dr. Meyer. They helped us conceive our first child in 2013 and we just returned in 2016, and are now currently pregnant with twins. The entire staff is amazing; very courteous and professional and caring. They greet you by name and remember who you are. When we returned after 2 years, they still remembered us and asked about our daughter by name. Stephen and Keisha in particular are wonderful, manning the front desk with big smiles and gracious manners. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

I have had a very positive experience with Carolina Conceptions. I cant say enough about Dr. Meyer and Carolina Conceptions! AMAZING in every way. Dr. Meyer was kind, knowledgeable, straight forward, very thorough with his explanations in an understandable way and most importantly to me he was available. He always returned my emails promptly (even while on vacation), handled my endless questions with patience and grace and helped us through such an emotional and stressful journey. He checked in me to see how my appointments went when I saw a nurse or different physician. He cares. Kurt & Ashley up front, Nikki (the practice manager), the nurses (Terri, Taylor), the other physicians (Dr. Bowling-who did my egg retrieval, Drs Park & Couchman-who I saw for monitoring visits), Diana & Kelly (financial), the phlebotomoists (who took my blood with ease) and our little ones first babysitter (the embryologist) and every one else Im forgetting made our infertility journey a bit easier. Everyone was so punctual whether is was answering a phone call or email, getting me into my appointments on time (I never had to wait), getting my records to my OB in a rush, etc. which was very comforting to me. They have early AM appointments which suited my work schedule and made the 40 minute drive to their office more doable.I tried another fertility clinic in the area and ended up switching to CC. I felt like a number at the other clinic. I felt like family at CC. They truly cared about me and helping us achieve our goal of having a baby. I can not recommend CC and Dr. Meyer enough!

Easy to arrange an appointment with them. Carolina Conceptions has a very friendly front desk staff, very helpful and thorough. I didnt even wait 5 minutes and got in and out before my appointment time. They emailed me the paperwork before so it was a very easy process from start to finish. Blood draw was quick and easy and the nurse was friendly. Seems like a reputable place to put your trust in with such a sensitive matter/issue.

Carolina Conceptions was a wonderful group of people to work with. They do not make you feel like just another patient, but rather a part of their family, Their physicians are very knowledgeable and personable. The nurses are very quick to respond, caring and always there for the patient. And of course, I cant forget the front desk staff. So sweet and always smiling. I would highly recommend this group to couples who are trying to get pregnant.

From our first visit to the last… all around amazing experience. The staff was wonderful and were always available when questions arose (we sure did have tons of questions). We are so thankful that we found Carolina Conceptions! The team they have sets them apart from everyone else and they helped us make our dream of parenthood a reality. We had such a positive experience at Carolina Conceptions. Dr. Park, Dr. Couchman, Dr. Meyer, Dr. Kim (embryologist) and all the staff that work there were so supportive, friendly, and caring. We had a diffficult case and they were very comforting and stayed positive but realistic through our entire experience. We would absolutely refer anyone to them and go there again. Aside from clinical care, we never had any trouble with parking, we never waited more than 10 minutes for an appt, the front desk staff was welcoming and supportive through our entire journey and the nurses, especially Terry, were fantastic.

Incredibly caring and helpful staff from the call to book my appointment to the point I walked out the door. I felt so much love from that office and knew I was in good hands. I had a consultation with Dr Park that lasted an hour! He was incredibly thorough and never rushed the conversation. I left feeling very informed and like I had the right information to make that right decision for me. The staff at the front desk made sure I knew before I left that they were here for anything I needed and to call with any questions. So happy to continue the process with this office!

Cant say enough wonderful things about this practice! I had a very bad experience at a different local fertility clinic and had an amazing experience at Carolina Conceptions! The staff are kind and attentive and Dr. Couchman was helpful, understanding, kind, and called me several times to check in or remind me of something. I truly can not say enough wonderful things about the entire staff at Carolina Conceptions. After 3 long years of infertility, we welcomed our perfect baby girl 9 months ago. One thing I learned through the process is that everyone has their own story and situation. Our story was long and challenging, but the hope and compassion that the doctors and nurses, even the receptionists gave us got us through the difficult times. Dr. Meyer, Dr. Park, and Dr. Couchman are all wonderful, each adding their own individual strengths as doctors and it is obvious why they are such a great practice. You will find no better professionalism and emotional connection to patients elsewhere. Doctors are always easily accessible.

I had a terrible experience with this practice & would not recommend them to anyone. I did IUIs for a year & wasnt successful. Through my treatments, I was told incorrect information provided by a Nurse of another patients results.My Doctor retired while under her care & I wasnt notified. I was then treated by another Doctor & was told that I had a Fibroid the size of my Uterus that needed to be removed, but had been there the whole time. My Gynecologist was very annoyed that no one contacted her prior to me going through all of those treatments in order to have the surgery that was needed. I honestly feel that Carolina Conceptions is in it for the money & they really do not care for your well being, Please take your business elsewhere & Good Luck!

Like many other couples, our RE in Wilmington left before we could have our first consult. I had many friends in SC who recommended a clinic in Myrtle Beach based on their experience with the Charleston clinic. Long story short, after a few appointments, I felt like I was wasting my time and knew I was not a concern for them.I contacted CC through their website and someone from the office called me within 24 hours. I explained to them my experience with the previous clinic and I was promised that would not happen at CC. It didn’t. I met with Dr Meyer in Hampstead and we developed a plan immediately. I will admit, after I met with Dr Meyer, I wasn’t convinced his plan would work out the way he said it would. However, Dr Meyer was spot on with his dates and my treatment plan was executed flawlessly. We first met in the middle of July, had an IUI in August, confirmed I was pregnant around Labor Day, and next month, my husband and I will bring our twin girls into the world 💕💕In addition to Dr Meyer, I worked with Dr Bowling and loved her as well. All the staff I worked with, (leeAnn, Taylor, Hannah, and the financial advisors), were all so kind and helpful. I ALWAYS got a fast response to any questions I had.My husband and I are so grateful for our experience at CC and would gladly recommend them to anyone!

I had a great experience with Carolina Conceptions and they helped us get pregnant with our daughter. The staff was very nice and helpful, everyone worked together and my doctor, Dr. Parks was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to get pregnant.

Me and my wife came in scared and nervous, not knowing much about exactly how we will grow our family. CC made us feel welcome, answered all our questions, talked us through all the procedures, and gave us hope for our future. Everyone there makes you feel like family. Being a same sex couple, we were needing a place that made us feel comfortable.Morning appointments are so quick we didn’t miss work. They are quick to respond to an email or phone call message.We had a scare at 7 weeks pregnant and they took us right in as soon as they opened the next morning, no questions asked, so that we can be seen right away. We left that appointment with happy tears knowing that everything was ok and a big hug from our favorite receptionist. We are happy to report that we are almost 20 weeks pregnant now and absolutely couldn’t of done it without the help and knowledge and support of CC.We would 100% recommended them to anyone needing help to expand their family. We’re excited to bring our baby girl in to meet everyone that helped bring her into this world.

Dr. Couchman was the primary physician I had, and her treatment was ultimately the successful one for me. The staff is great. I have been a patient at Carolina Conceptions for 3 years. They helped me get pregnant with my son and my second child on the way! Ive seen Dr. Meyer and Dr. Park. Theyre both excellent. Dr. Meyer helped me through the egg retrieval process and from the first moment I met him I knew I was in good hands. Everything went smoothly. And a few days ago I met with Dr. Park because I had some questions about my health and didnt feel I got satisfactory answers from my regular doctor. Dr. Park took the time to answer all my questions. He made me feel like a human being, not a patient. He gave a little lesson on the relationship between the brain and the ovaries and even drew pictures to illustrate his points :) The medical care at Carolina Conceptions is top notch and everyone on the staff is warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

We have had another wonderful experience with Carolina Conceptions. Dr. Couchman provided excellent care. I felt heard and never rushed, and completely trusted her. I highly recommend CC to everyone struggling to have a baby. I conceived my first baby with another infertility clinic in the triangle, but switched to CC for my 2nd and 3rd. It was right decision.

Carolina Conceptions has done a great job managing my off-site FET cycle with a facility out of state. The staff has been accommodating and kind. In the beginning, I left an unfavorable review out of frustration and not giving them a chance to change. After working with Carolina Conceptions for close to 6 months, I am certain that my initial experience wasnt a true reflection of this practice. I recommend them for anyone on this journey.

Carolina Conceptions was a good place to go for fertility assistance and after two years of trying. I am currently pregnant with twins after doing two rounds of IUI. Unfortunately, we never found out the cause of the issue because all the tests concluded my husband and I are healthy individuals. Nurse, Terry Hunter, was amazing and the reason I continued to return to CC. She was wonderful! I really felt like Terry cared about my situation and she always answered all my questions and was great! I didnt always get the same feeling with other nurses. I met with Dr. Myer for my consult appt. and was very overwhelmed with all the information and it took me a few months until I actually returned. Besides the nurses, I saw Dr. Park twice after I was pregnant for ultra sounds and he was very nice. It is expensive and if you dont have any insurance coverage it would be difficult to cover all the visits. Overall, our experience was positive at CC and I would recommend them for services.

After many obstacles and 3 IVF failures with Duke Fertility clinic. My husband and I decided to give it one last try with a different clinic. After some research and reading lots of reviews, we gave Dr. Park the opportunity to tell us what his thoughts were about our situation because of my age (40), my husband being deployed, etc. He was very honest and straight forward, his treatment was different than the other clinic and seemed to make more sense to us. Then Covid-19 happened and we had to wait some months before starting the treatment but Dr. Park never gave up on us and made us keep that hope alive. Once the clinic resumed services, we started our treatment, my husband came back from deployment and now we are expecting twins. We still have a journey ahead but if it wasnt for Dr. Park and Carolina Conceptions staff, we would not be where we are now. I am thankful to have given it a last try to this awesome clinic. Highly recommended.

They are one of the best in this area. The doctors and staff I worked with were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. My doctor Dr. Park is extremely patient and listens to your needs. He is also one of the endocrinologists with a 5-star review in the United Health Database. I just graduated from the clinic and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

My husband and I came to Carolina Conceptions after dealing with secondary infertility. Our first child was conceived after the first try(lucky I know) so when things werent happening after 8 months and because of my age(37) I decided it was time to get some help. After reading the reviews and having a friend that highly recommended Dr. Meyer I decided to make an appointment for a consultation. The entire staff, especially Steven was very friendly and welcoming. My husband was anxious and intimidated prior to our first appointment, but we found that Dr. Meyer was very easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. His warm demeanor made it easy for my husband to open up about some male issues that he was having. Talking to Dr. Meyer was like talking to an old friend. Unfortunately, because of my low AMH, I was told I would not be a candidate for IVF. Sensing my disappointment Dr. Meyer explained to me why he didnt think we needed IVF and that he would not recommend treatment that he felt would not benefit us. My husband really appreciated his honesty and pointed out that if Carolina Conceptions was all about the money they could have easily pushed more expensive treatment options on us. Instead Dr. Meyer came up with a game plan for us. He quickly ran some tests on my husband and personally called us with results and diagnosis the same day. I emailed questions to him and he always responded very quickly. Im beyond over joyed to say that shortly after we met with Dr. Meyer and following his recommendations, we are now 10 weeks pregnant!!! I realize that our case was an easier fix then most, but it was the best appointment I could have made. I would recommend anyone who is having a difficult time conceiving, no matter how big or small the problem to come and see Carolina Conceptions.

It is a very busy clinic, and we are not a text book case, but I feel very disconnected and much more like a number than my previous clinic. My doctor has only seen me once, and I am usually seen by someone different every time I go. Though this might be normal for such a busy clinic. It doesn’t feel like my care is being approached in a holistic way, but rather in an established way. It would also be helpful if they had a patient portal, as there is no way to access information on your appointments, details on your scans and bloodwork, easily ask medical questions, etc. I acknowledge that some of these issues might feel different if we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic and I didn’t have to be rushed in and out of the facility, but some things like communication and more personalized care would help to compensate for it.

Earlier this year I attempted 5 iui rounds through CC. I’m not giving two stars because they didn’t work. With my blocked Fallopian tube diagnosis IUI’s were a long shot. My review is based on multiple consistent issues I had throughout those 5 months.The first was with billing. When I began there was a generous military discount, but without warning it was gone and prices dramatically increased. I also always seemed to have issues checking out or with billing.Second was that I only talked to my doctor at the consultation and for one iui procedure. Other than those two times, I got the opinion of whoever happened to be there that day. If I wanted my actual doctor’s opinion or confirmation that she agreed with the present doctor’s opinion, I had to schedule a appointment with her and pay extra just for her confirmation.The third issue I had was with ultrasounds. I have a blocked left Fallopian tube, but because of a weak right kidney, my left ovary was unfortunately the ovulation champ. Every month we found my left ovary had the larger follicles while my right only had the larger follicle on menopur one out of the 5 months. Almost without fail, every ultrasound tech would get excited looking at the left ovary and say, “You got some big ones over here!” I’d immediately feel relief thinking I actually had a shot. But then they would remember that my left tube is blocked and say, “Oh but the left tube is blocked right?” Or, I would have to tell them the left tube is blocked. It’s almost like no one read my chart which sent me on a emotional rollercoaster that would be completely avoidable. I remember having to explain my blockage to multiple techs.The fourth issue I had was with records. I ended up moving shortly after the last failed IUI and was planning on doing IVF at a new clinic. I requested my records for myself and for my new clinic. I waited the two weeks, and they were never sent. Once I’m followed up, I was told to complete the forms that I already submitted. I made it clear it was already done. Only then did they realize this and sent my records immediately. However, my records only contained my initial consultation information. It had nothing about my 5 iui attempts including medications, follicles, or if an iui was done. I had to use screenshots from my portal to get this info. Overall I felt like a number and my specific health concerns were never fully addressed or tested.I ended up at a clinic in northern VA and IVF resulted in my first ever pregnancy. I had the best experience at this clinic.CC is good if you are just starting out, but if you feel like you need more specialized care, don’t be afraid to get get a second opinion. I’ve had three friends all begin at CC and we have all gone to other clinics.

My husband and I struggled with infertility for 4 years but are excited to announce we are 22 weeks pregnant with our first child thanks to Carolina Conceptions! I just wish we had started with them. We saw another fertility clinic in the area and had all the test done and were diagnosed as unexplained. We tried 4 IUIs, all failed. Before moving on to IVF we decided to find another fertility clinic as we just werent getting a good vibe from our doctor or the rest of the staff at the other clinic. It was a world of difference at Carolina Conceptions!! Everyone from the front desk, to the financial coordinators, to the nurses and doctors were wonderful and so caring! We initially met with Dr Park and instantly felt a wonderful, caring vibe. We saw him most of the time but I did have Dr Meyer and Dr Couchman for one appointment each and they were great as well. Our very first IVF try was successful and I cant wait to meet our little miracle baby in March. We will be back to Carolina Conceptions when it is time to try for baby #2!!

Carolina Conceptions has been a blessing in our lives. The staff, nurses, doctors, and everyone who is involved are all amazing people.We live in Virginia and have done a fresh and a frozen embryo transfer. We conceived and delivered two healthy boys. We are now getting ready for our last transfer. I highly recommend Carolina Conceptions.

I had the worst experience today at CC. I have no issues with the doctors, I especially love Dr. Meyers and the front desk staff are great as well. My issue lies with the nursing staff. I ordered my medication through CC. I was sent syringes and needles with my first prescription, when I got to the second batch of my prescription, my husband picked my medication up for me. When I got home that night I found that there were no needles or syringe and I had to clean and re-use my previous syringe and needle. I went to the office the next day and again ordered another box but this time I requested for the needle and syringe. The nurse then proceeded to tell me that they don’t provide the needle and syringe. I was NEVER made aware of this fact prior to agreeing to order my medication through them. Had been I been aware I would have made other arrangements. Now it’s almost closing time, I’m told that I would need to contact the local pharmacies to see which once carries the needle and syringe. I will most likely re-use the same needle again because there’s no way for me to get one today. I’m a nurse, I’ve been in the healthcare field for a very long time and I know a little compassion goes a long way. This whole process is already stressful enough without the added stress. Thank you for making this a horrible experience.

I was skeptical about everything at first but it was the best decision we ever made. The whole Team is awesome and always so nice and took good care of us. The medicine we had to take came the next 1-2 business days. The online class was very helpful as well and made everything so much easier. The drs and nurse’s we’re comforting and reassuring and made themselves available with a smile and good attitude always. The Egg removal was quick and painless. The uncomfortable part is the shots daily and you’re ovaries growing from stimulation but something you can definitely put up with. We did IVF last year April 24th 2021 and we end up pregnant with a baby girl. She is over a month now and super sweet. Our due date was January 24th but she came 3 weeks early on New Year’s Eve. Dec 31st at 2225 with no issues thank God. She was 20 inches long and 7 pounds and 2 ounces and we delivered Vaginal.Thank you Carolina Conception for making our biggest dream come true. ❤️Family Sharpe

This office is beyond amazing. They gave me and my husband exactly what we asked for...a baby. I am due Friday September 25th with our miracle IVF daughter. Yes this office is extremely busy, because theyre amazing at their job. Theyre one of the top ten clinics in the United States for a reason! Yes you see all the doctors because they are actually open 7 days a week due to a womans cycle not being Monday through Friday (if they think their window of opportunity is on a Saturday or Sunday yes you are scheduled for then). I had a huge moment with each of these doctors and they are all fantastic. Initially met Dr. Meyer, truly blunt and to the point, we wanted and needed that. Dr. Park was the one we saw most and he performed one of my two IUI cycles (Dr. Meyer did the other) after those didnt work we started the IVF journey after speaking to Dr Park about everything and how it worked and again completely transparent about the price and facts on the matter. Dr. Bowling performed the procedure of egg removal and explained everything and I had a wonderful turnout. Dr Couchman was the one who placed my embryo in my uterus and again was a wonderful experience. Each of these doctors are truly amazing and if you think you will see just one, then go ahead and know you wont. Ive recommended this office to several people and I know of three couples who are pregnant within 6 months of going. This office is beyond miraculous and for the people that cant see that I truly sympathize them. Cant wait to implant another embryo in 2 years and see them all again!

I went in on a Friday afternoon - the very last patient of the week. Although all of the staff were eager to go home for the weekend, they were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Bowling was exceptional in that she helped me get three tests done all on the same day. That was awesome becase I live over an hour away and have to miss a half day of work to come in. This was my first visit ever for fertility, an emotional experience for me, and Im grateful that they were so sensitive and helpful. The way they treated me here is how I wish all doctors offices behaved towards their patients. Thank you very much!

Everyone is absolutely wonderful at this clinic. Everyone I have/had come across has been more than helpful to me. Even with numerous questions via email, they were prompt at responding. All the doctors are amazing as I dealt w each of them at one point or another. Great personalities offering levity in each situation but also great knowledge with it. Made me feel very comfortable w everything that I was going through. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the folks at this place from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors to the lab doctors.

I had a consultation with Carolina Conceptions before we were ready to start trying due to a medical condition that causes fertility challenges. At the time I just wanted to know my options. I was advised to lose 12 pounds to be in the optimal weight range and told that would help the frequency of my ovulation (they did no bloodwork to know if I was ovulating or not). Fast forward to a year later, covid started, I hadnt lost the weight. Given that it was 12 pounds I didnt think that was a deal breaker. I had a second appointment to start the process and was told that their clinic policy was to not work with patients over a certain bmi. This was my first time hearing this. I was told that people in larger bodies are more likely go have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc. While that may be true I have none of those things. When I discussed with the Dr. that those were the statistics, but I, as the patient didnt have them she told me it didnt matter because it was clinic policy. She said that it was less likely I would be able to carry a baby to term based on stats for health conditions (again, none of which I have). I have since undergone IVF with Duke Fertility and have a healthy baby. Carolina Conceptions has this policy in place to bolster their live birth stats. If a clinic only takes easy patients then they will be less likely to have issues. I would ask the clinic make this policy public so patients dont waste their time and money meeting with doctors who have no intention of treating them. This practice does not support health at every size. If you or your partner is in a larger body or if equitable healthcare is important to you look elsewhere.

I would recommend Carolina Conceptions to anyone. I initially was working with another clinic but I wasnt getting the results needed. I wanted to try another option and I wish I had of started there first. Thank you Shannon and Dr. Park for making our dreams of being a family come true. We look forward to working with you guys again for Baby #2!

My husband and I were shocked when we were told we had infertility issues. Its not something I even considered at 29 years old. The staff at Carolina Conceptions was very helpful the entire process of making sure we understood all the ins and outs of infertility and the IVF process. I got to see all 3 doctors over the course of treatment and all of them were wonderful! At 14 weeks pregnant I can say Im very happy with our decision to go through IVF at Carolina Conceptions and will definately go back in the future when we are ready for #2!

My husband and I went to Carolina Conceptions after I was diagnosed with Ashermans syndrome as a result of a miscarriage of our first pregnancy. We primarily saw Dr. Couchman and had a few visits w/ Dr. Meyer. My husband and I were so impressed with the care and treatment we received from everyone at Carolina Conceptions. The doctors took all the time we needed to answer our questions and were thorough in their answers and in creating my treatment plan. I am fortunate the case of Ashermans was not severe which we learned after the surgery. Just a few short months later, under the care of Dr. Couchman and Dr. Meyer we were pregnant again. We are happy to report that we are 22 weeks along with a healthy baby girl.The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish they would continue seeing us through our pregnancy since they are the best in town!

Absolutely fantastic staff. They always answered all my questions and treated me with the upmost respect. I moved away from my last OBGYN and my current one doesnt give my 2.5 years of secondary infertility any concern because of my age. But Carolina Conceptions and Dr. Park never mention my age and always treat me like family and not a child. He also performed my surgery on my uterus and I feel sooo much better!!

We love love love Dr Park and Dr Meyer. We have a 2 yr old girl from IVF in 2015 and a little one on the way. Dr Meyer took extra time during my difficult transfer and we will forever be thankful for his patience and determination. I can’t say enough positive things about the entire staff here and our positive experiences. We never had to wait long and everyone is very helpful! Our family is complete!

Carolina Conception has been an answer to prayers. My husband and myself have been trying to conceive for 6 years and we were referred to this clinic this year. After treatments and several consultations with Dr. Park, we are on our way to becoming a mommy and daddy. The staff went over and beyond to make sure we felt like family. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

My husband and I struggled with fertility issues for many years, and we were given Carolina Conceptions name from my OB. Upon the first visit at the facility we knew we found the right place. All of the staff from the checking in nurse to the doctors took time to know us and make sure we felt right at home. We formulated a plan with the Doctors and every step of the way were given guidence and support . We now have a healthy baby girl and have Carolina Conceptions to thank for it.

My primary doctor there was Dr. Bowling and I would highly recommend her. She was very caring and compassionate and treated me like I was her only patient. She took the time to answer my questions and ease my anxieties. She instilled hope and confidence that my dream of having a baby would come true and it did! After failed cycles of IUI and IVF I now have a healthy 1mo old baby boy!Dr. Meyer did my 1st IVF transfer and later an ERA while Dr. Bowling was on a leave. He was kind, had a good sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. I also met with Dr. Park after my 1st IVF cycle failed and he was very empathetic. He took his time with me answering all my questions, making recommendations and ensuring I understood and was comfortable with next steps.Overall, I had a positive experience and highly recommend this practice. I am extremely grateful for the doctors, nurses and staff. They are very knowledgeable and experienced. I will be going back here and hopefully seeing Dr. Bowling for any future needs!

Let me preface this by expressing that I meet all the ASRM guidelines to be a gestational carrier. I was going through an independent journey with ip’s who had embryos at this clinic. I submitted all my medical records and was approved by Carolina Conceptions. I was having communication issues with the ip’s throughout the process and informed the clinic. I asked if they had other families that needed a gestational carrier that could possibly be a better fit. They responded that they currently had other families that needed a gc. After giving it a ton of consideration and patience, I couldn’t ignore the communication issues any longer, and I decided to break the match. A little over a week went by, and I received devastating news from Dr. Bowling. She informed me that they decided to decline utilizing me as a gc after all. I am confused, and extremely disappointed with my experience at Carolina Conceptions.

Initially, I thought I was in good hands with CC. Had my consultation with Dr Couchman, exchanged a few emails with questions and then it was time for my appointments. We did an IUI with donor sperm. 4 appointments and I NEVER saw “my” doctor. On the day of my IUI procedure, I just knew I was going to finally meet my doctor, nope. Never even got to talk face to face to the woman. My IUI was on 8/7/20 and it was unsuccessful. No one from the office has contacted me in any way. No calls, texts, emails etc. For someone like myself, who has been going through this for 13 years, having support is a big deal. If it were me, I would reach out to all of my patients after a big procedure to check in. I honestly feel like I was just another paycheck for them. My husband and I will be having another IUI in the future but it WILL NOT be at CC.

I completed IUI with Carolina Conceptions. They have been incredibly easy to work with and I feel like they truly care about the work they do. The financial department has been open, available, and transparent since our initial consult. The doctors are all very kind and thorough. I even got an email response from dr Meyer after hours answering a follow up question I had. I would highly recommend this office!!

The staff at Carolina Conceptions has been so supportive over the many years I have been a patient. Dr. Park, especially, has gone above and beyond. He is extremely patient with me and answers all of my MANY questions, whether in person or over email. He is always completely honest with me and is willing to think outside the box. I cant thank Carolina Conceptions enough for everything theyve done for me and highly recommend this practice!

We are pregnant!!! Thanks to Dr. Meyer and his team. We felt very comfortable throughout our treatment. The staff is very well organised . Dr Meyer personally checked me at all my appointments unlike old place we went to where nurses did everything. We felt like we werent just another patient/case there, we mattered and our hopes mattered. we highly recommend this place.

My husband and I were referred to Carolina Conceptions for diagnostic services. They told us our insurance wouldn’t cover diagnostic procedures billed by a fertility clinic and quoted us their self-pay rates of $148.50 for an SA and $537.50 for an HSG. I called my insurance company and verified these procedures would be covered. When I turned in my husband’s sample, I was charged the self-pay rate. When I protested, Jennifer came out, handed me a print out of my benefits and explained to me that my insurance doesn’t cover the procedure if it’s billed by a fertility clinic and that I had to know the right questions to ask insurance companies. She agreed to do me a “favor” and file the claim but insisted I pay the self-pay rate and advised the claim would probably be denied. We were reimbursed at 100 percent. Then, there was an issue with how the claim was filed, and we received a small invoice. I called our insurance provider again and explained the situation. They found and fixed the error, and we owed nothing. Later that year, we received a letter from our insurance carrier stating that Dr. Couchman, who the SA was billed through, would no longer be a preferred provider with Aetna. After my first and only time in the clinic with Jennifer, I no longer trusted Carolina Conceptions to treat me. We transferred our care a different fertility clinic, where the first thing we were told was that diagnostic procedures are covered by insurance. There, the HSG that Carolina Conceptions was going to charge me $537.50 for only cost me my $70.00 specialist visit copay. I am rating two stars because I believe that Carolina Conceptions is efficient at getting their patients pregnant. However, I feel that their methods are self serving and not patient centered. If I hadn’t spoken up for myself, I would have been overcharged for procedures that were actually covered by my insurance. I strongly recommend looking at other options before committing to care at this clinic.

I saw an endocrinologist here in Wilmington who helped me conceive both of my kids. He was convenient and efficient. After his retirement, it left Wilmington with zero reproductive endocrinologists. I was extremely nervous to see someone new and not local.After my first appointment with Dr. Park (@Wilmington Health facility in Hampstead) I was instantly relieved. Everyone on the phone was so kind (SO KIND...) and Dr. Park was easy going, funny, and a pleasure to work with. He heard my concerns and my desires and did what he could to make sure it happened. I have been thrilled with my experience so far.Would definitely recommend.

The worse hospital I have ever been to. Really dont know how they could get so many good comments/reviews (???) Problems exist in many procedures. Staff and nurses are rude. It seems that nobody working there is nice or wants to be helpful. The front desk told you that they had made an appointment for you but actually not. So, I had to wait for another 40 days to see the doctor. You never can reach nurses if you need prior authorization for some medicine.s No matter how many voice messages you left, never get any response. I left a form of medical leave to the front desk for the doctor to sign. But the staff said that they did not have my form and did not allow me to use their computer to print a new one. They said that I should come again to give them a new form (I live far away). I complained and within in 2 minutes, they found my form. They were lying!!When I did my IUI there, a very young nurse came and said that she would try first and if she had any problem, she would call the doctor. After she tried for around five minutes, she said she needed to get the doctor and I only needed to wait for 5-10 minutes. I heard that the doctor said she would come out of the room. However, the doctor started to do a consolation which took over 30 minutes. I waited there without clothes in a cold room for such a long time. Since the doctor could not come, she ask the nurse to try again using a different tool. It turns out that she failed the first time because she used the wrong tool. I was very confused. What were they doing?? Who likes to be treated in that way. When my husband complained and I was not there, the nurse blamed me to be too nervous and as a result she could complete the procedure. Well, only i and she knows what happened. Well, I had no idea I was nervous. The nurse should be more honest and tell the truth.The price of infertility treatment is high and they should be more professional and more considerate. At least should be honest and friendly. This is my first time post a negative review online. Its based on my four months experience there. Actually, I did not need to take times to write such a long review. Just want to be helpful to couples in the same situation. I will never use them again. If your OB recommend this place, think again.

My experience at Carolina Conceptions was like participating in a fertility cattle call. CC is a large practice and they have a lot of patients. My experience at CC was impersonal and there was little empathy employed by physicians and staff (especially billing). Given the volume of patients, I didn’t feel like I received individualized care and I didn’t feel heard nor a different plan of action offered when I voiced concerns to physicians.I went through 1 IVF cycle at CC. It was a traumatic experience, for which I am in therapy, including hypnosis therapy (EMDR). My most traumatic experience at CC happened when I was told none of my embryos survived. A lab technician called me on the phone and told me none of my embryos grew and she “discarded” them. I asked if this was normal and she coldly replied “no”. In that moment, I had so many questions about what happened and what I was supposed to do next - none of these questions could have been answered by a lab technician. In a short tone, she said I needed to call my “medical professional” to talk to them. Therefore, while sobbing about what just occurred, I had to call the black hole of the CC main office line and weave through the complicated web of telephone extensions to get through to the front desk to make an appointment with Dr Couchman to understand what happened with my embryos that were discarded. In addition to scheduling that follow up appointment with Dr Couchman, in between sobs, I had to inform the receptionist to cancel my appointment for the embryo transfer.A lab technician should NOT be responsible for calling women to inform them of this kind of devastating news. A medical professional, most notably, A DOCTOR, should deliver this news and help the patient understand next steps. CC has so many patients, they don’t have time to make these kind of calls or insert this level of patient empathy/bedside manner into their process. When I provided the feedback to the practice about the lab technician calling me with these results, I didn’t get the impression that CC was interested in improving their process for patients.

There are not enough good things to say about this establishment. My husband and I were referred to them by our Ob/Gyn after a year of TTC with no success. From the time we had our first consultation to the time we were released because we successfully conceived we had nothing short of an amazing and painless experience. All of the nurses, staff members, and doctors that we worked with were extremely helpful and patient throughout our journey with them. Having difficulties conceiving when theres nothing that you want more is a stressful and tiring process and we got all of the best service from everyone involved. Our doctor was Dr. Couchman and we also saw Dr. Park a few times and both were very kind, answered all of our questions, and got back to us right away any time I reached out with any kind of questions or concerns. Mercedes was the nurse I saw most often for blood drawing etc.. and she does a wonderful job! (This from someone who hates needles). Definitely returning here again if we ever need to! Even if we were not fortunate enough to get pregnant with them, I know they would have tried everything in their power and made us as happy as they could have. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. As a very happy pregnant lady, I am forever grateful and thankful for this entire office. After a very painful long year of getting pregnant at the drop of the hat but finding staying pregnant very difficult, I decided it was time to figure out what the heck was going on. After two weeks, Dr Couchman and Dr Myers figured out the problem, a couple weeks later I had surgery, and a month after that I was pregnant with my healthy baby girl. The office is fast and efficient. You are seen quickly, never waiting more than a few minutes. Dr. Couchman was my main doctor and I was so very pleased with everything about her. She takes the time to explain everything to you, not make decisions for you. She draws diagrams and prints things for you. Her bedside manner is warm and empathetic, just what I like. Dr Myers did my surgery and called me personally several times to follow up. Now how often does that happen? And the office staff.... Oh how I love them. Even though I am so happy to be pregnant, I miss them deeply. They truly care for the patients. They share your happy and sad tears. With some scary spotting early on In this pregnancy, they got me in immediately for an ultrasound knowing how scary that was for me, and they celebrated with me when it turned out to be ok. All of the financials are reviewed with you before anything is done. They have a helpful insurance person that will figure all of that out for you, and they make every effort to get insurance to pay for what is needed. 5 stars is not enough for this office.

We had a fantastic experience at Carolina Conceptions and have 2 beautiful children that they helped us conceive! Because of their excellent record of success and the quality of the doctors and staff, I highly recommend Carolina Conceptions.When my husband and I first came to Carolina Conceptions, we already had a 3 year old but had had difficulty conceiving a second child. When we did conceive, I suffered a miscarriage and the resulting D&C led to adhesions forming in my uterus. I had recently been cleared by my obgyn to try to conceive, after having had surgery to remove the adhesions. However, I had concerns that what my obgyn was telling me was not quite right. Our first appointment at Carolina Conceptions was with Dr. Meyer. His straightforward personality made it easier for my husband and I to talk about an uncomfortable subject. During our initial appointment with him, he confirmed that my suspicions were correct. There were still adhesions in my uterus that would likely prevent me from conceiving without further surgery, and also one of my tubes was blocked. My husband and I were devastated by the news, but we were so grateful that Dr. Meyer was able to uncover the truth so quickly. Dr. Park performed my surgery a month later, and he cleared me to conceive a couple of weeks afterward. He took the time to answer all my questions before and after my surgery, and he really seemed to care about how I was doing.The process of trying to conceive was so stressful. I took fertility drugs month after month. And month after month, I wasn’t pregnant—probably because of my advanced maternal age. However, everyone at Carolina Conceptions was fantastic. When my husband and I tried IVF for the first time, we were disappointed with the number of follicles I produced, and Dr. Meyer supported our decision to convert the cycle to an IUI cycle. We were so convinced that there was no chance that this round was going to work that we met with Dr. Meyer to discuss how to proceed before we even knew if I was pregnant or not. Imagine our surprise, when we discovered a week later, that I was indeed pregnant. When I began bleeding the day after I was released from Carolina Conceptions, I was sure that this was the end of the pregnancy as it had been with the previous one. Dr. Couchman was very kind to me both on the phone and before the ultrasound the next morning (unlike the experience I had had with the obgyn in the other practice when I miscarried before). We were thrilled to discover that the baby still had a heartbeat. Our second son was born 7 months later.My husband and I made an appointment with Dr. Meyer several months afterward and formulated a plan to try to conceive another child. Everyone at Carolina Conceptions was just as great the second time around. My daughter was born 19 months after my second son. I cannot thank everyone at Carolina Conceptions enough. It was always my dream to have several children, but my husband and I had delayed having children to focus on our education and careers. But now I have the family I always wanted.

Dr. Park and his team did an amazing job. He was able to help us get pregnant after two years of us trying. They are caring, understanding and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has had difficulty trying to get pregnant.We are now pregnant with a healthy baby boy and we owe a great many thanks to Carolina Conceptions.

I would love to have talked about my experience with the actual physicians at Carolina Conceptions, except the horribly sexist and regressive attitudes of the medical practice staff quickly made me realize this wasnt the organization I wanted to work with. I was looking into egg freezing services. Im in the prime of my career and the hubby and I want to wait to have kids. Its a simple enough procedure. The staff refused to give me an appointment on the basis of the fact that my husband wasnt going to be involved ( its an egg freezing why do you need my husbands details? ). This isnt IVF. The appointment staffers April and another unnamed lady continually hung up on me, didnt return calls after several emails were sent by both me and my insurance provider and were beyond rude. Last I checked this isnt the 1950s I dont need anyones permission to freeze my eggs. The insurance is mine, the money is mine, body also mine. My husband and I had a good laugh about it and I chose to pursue my egg freezing with NC Center for Reproductive Medicine. It took a grand total of one phone call to schedule my appointment and upload my documents through an online portal. Staff at Carolina Conceptions needs serious training. Wasted 4 days trying to work with them on scheduling all the while getting judgement and a run around from their appointment staff. Wouldnt recommend for the modern woman, aint no body got time for that.

We loved seeing Dr. Couchman ! She was amazing through the IVF invocell process with me and my wife. We got pregnant on the first try! Definitely recommend Carolina Conceptions ! Can’t wait for baby #2

My husband and I are the proud parents of a healthy, smart, and active 2 year old thanks to Carolina Conceptions. We will be forever grateful to the doctors and nurses and embryologists (everyone forgets to mention them in these reviews!!!) at Carolina Conceptions. I guess I also need to commend their business staff too- we were in a position where we had to pay out of pocket for IUI and IVF and this was all laid out for us- no surprises AND efforts were made to help us get sample meds. Dr. Park often set them aside when they were available. I really appreciated how accommodating all the doctors were (answering emails, changing around their schedules to handle my egg retrieval) and that everything happened as stated (embryologist called me to update me when she said she would). I also really liked that my case was discussed among the providers, it made me feel confident that there was consensus about my medication dosings. Drs. Couchman and Park in particular made me feel comfortable, had great bed side manner (good sense of humor, down to earth, took their time).

I am very grateful to Carolina Conception s professional team for helping me and my husband realize the wishes of having children. I have been married to my husband for 4 years and have always wanted children, but I have used a lot of online methods, such as measuring body temperature, ovulation and taking supplement , etc., not to do so. I have thought about doing IVF in Asia, but based on the degree of suspicion of medical equipment and professionalism in different institutions or hospitals, I have not taken the first step to try. Until God arranged an opportunity to relocate my husband to the United States, we thought this might be an opportunity. I spent some time in different hospitals or institutions and chose Carolina Conception. Because the data shows that they have good medical equipment and years of experience in helping infertile to successfully conceive.So after we decided to make the appointment to DR COUCHMAN to understand the process and the cost, she gave me a good impression. She is an experienced, practical and professional doctor. She listened carefully to the problems we encountered. She gave us confidence. Step out of the road of seeking children. I decided to choose IVF, and according to the arrangement of the Carolina Conception team to do all kinds of blood tests and medication. When we got problems encountered in the IVF process and do not understand,the team is very patient to explain and help us solve, so I am grateful to meet them. As a result, I successfully determined pregnancy in September.I would like to thank Dr. Couchman and all the medical team for their help. They made me feel not lonely when I did IVF and made my wish for a complete family. In addition, thank you very much for ASHLEY for me.When I encountered unexpected things, she arranged the time to meet the doctor as soon as possible. Her concern made me very warm and touching. Choosing Carolina Conception is a wise decision for me which make my dream come true.

I would just like to share my experience leading up to being seen by one of the doctors at Carolina Conceptions in Raleigh. I say leading up to being seen because it never happened. Well, to begin, it is very difficult to reach anyone at the office. The phones are rarely answered and when they are answered, you are put on long holds. I had a zoom appointment with Dr. Johnson on May 6, 2021 but never received a zoom link. She called and left a message but when I returned the phone call to try to be seen and ask for the zoom link, the first time I was transferred to the doctor and got disconnected, the second time they tried to tell me that it was not a zoom appointment but a phone appointment and that Dr. Johnson had left for the day. Then they asked to reschedule me for a month later. Needless to say, Im done and have found a more organized office (UNC Fertility). GET IT TOGETHER CAROLINA CONCEPTIONS!

Worst Doctors office Ive been too. Dont expect to ACTUALLY see your doctor here. Nurses will do your ultrasounds, which means they miss if you have a polyp acting as an IUD AFTER youve done many rounds of the expensive IUI treatments. Also whoever does your ultrasound you have to actually tell them why youre there because they wont look at your chart before seeing you. Requesting to actually see your doctor in office wont get you anywhere, you have to wait til he/she can call you so theres another 100$ for a less than 5 minute phone call. Medicine doses will change randomly without even consulting patient.P.s. Dont offer military discount anymore, if you are like me and didnt even get a heads up.

Carolina Concepts helped make our dream of having a family come true. With the help of Dr. Park and the nurses at Carolina Conceptions, we welcomed a baby boy into our family. The staff was always informative and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

My husband and I began working with them to have a baby and in the beginning, everyone was very positive and optimistic. Then, once money was exchanged, the lack of compassion shown in that facility was heartbreaking. Unfortunately our baby did not survive. My husband and I struggled at first but we came to accept it. Not once did my doctor reach out to check on us or to give any condolences. And after my embryo transfer, we came in to have our pregnancy test, when we received our initial phone call, one doctor displayed such immaturity it was shocking. This doctor was younger than the rest and so obviously inexperienced. She had laughter in her voice as she told me that I wasn’t pregnant. And sadly before she told me the bad news, she wasn’t even sure she was reading my actual chart. She presented such ditzy behavior my husband and I were appalled. We couldn’t believe such behavior was being shown to us. We won’t be going back. I regret the thousands of dollars we spent, not only because we lost the life we hoped for, but because we should have been treated much differently and shown much more compassion. We understand it’s a business but these are people’s lives and dreams that they’re playing with.

If anyone is thinking about conceiving and need some help I say Carolina Conceptions is the way to go. Thanks to Dr. Parks and his magnificent team we have an wonderful little girl here. My partner and I went to them and we felt the welcome from the front desk all the way to Angie the lady in finance. I wanted twins but Dr. Parks said no because of my history. He gave me just enough medicine where I would possibly have one baby and I tell you he knew what he was doing for I had a little trouble with my cervix. I thank God I listened to him and agreed for I would have lost both children. It only took one try for me. So if anyone is thinking about having a little one and need a little help whether it is one or two tries just know you cant go wrong with Carolina Conceptions.

Heartbreaking experience. I would not recommend this group. They are 100% in it for the money.After an unsuccessful stimulation and a 22 mm cyst that was there from day 1, it was recommended I proceed with treatment anyway. I went in on retrieval day not feeling confident, but also feeling like I did not have an alternative option. The doctors never suggested stopping the medications or alternative treatment plan such as waiting for another cycle. I came out of the procedure to find out they were only able to retrieve 7 follicles. The lab technician contacted me the next day to say that only 3 had fertilized and then 2 and then only 1 had made it Again, this was not great news.Heartbreaking news- the 1 embryo that was transferred was unsuccessful.Throughout this whole process, I felt like another number and a rushed patient. We spent over $16,000 between the medications and the cost of the procedure to come out with absolutely nothing... When I reached out to discuss further I was told it was my fault because of my AMH levels and age (32 btw).

I just have to say thanks to Carolina conception and all the staff. Because of the first time I was there in 7/17/2016 to the day of 7/27/21 I had 3 beautiful boys thanks for making my dreams a reality Dr Meyer and all the teams of Carolina conception I never will be tired of thanks for all your help prayers and support. Thanks guys Mrs Nikki Duncan thanks for always being there with a smile on your face. Thanks sooo much for keep my faith high.

Im so thankful for Carolina Conceptions. Each person we interacted with cared about our situation and gave us hope. After 2 years of trying, we were referred to CC and are now 22 weeks pregnant after being told I had PCOS. They truley were a blessing!

My wife & I have been married for over 13 years. We started trying to conceive after about 3 years and we were unsuccessful. When we first learned about IVF almost 7 years ago we knew we couldnt afford it and kept trying the natural way. On my wifes 34th birthday we didnt enjoy it, instead we cried together knowing another year had passed and she still wasnt a mother. I made a promise to her that we would seek council and do everything possible to either conceive or adopt by her 35th birthday. We both got checked out and learned the problem was me and we were referred to Carolina Conceptions. I cant say enough about the Doctors and staff at CC. Dr. Park and Dr. Couchman were the most professional, courtesy, and helpful Doctors through the process. Long story, short we were able to do IVF and the fresh embryo transfer happened 1 day before my wifes 35th birthday. Silas Cash Hunter was born on March 13, 2017 he was 21 inches long and weighed 8lbs 4oz.

Carolina Conceptions is amazing!! They made our dreams come true I am truly happy that of all the places that we picked them. I am currently 6 months pregnant and we are so blessed to be able to bring a beautiful baby boy into this world in March 2017! Thank you Carolina Conceptions!!

I have never been so disappointed and appalled at the lack of sympathy and respect a doctor had for one of his patients. Went to my sisters appointment with her after a long IVF journey. First of all the nurse did not even know why were there. She checked the chart twice and said wait a minute what were you here for today okay I guess the doctor needs to do that then the doctor came in to do her ultra sound and didnt know anything about her although she has been there several times. He didnt even know why she was called in to get an ultra sound at her stage in pregnancy. He said let me check your tubes well well wait I wouldnt be able to tell yet. You came in too early when they were the ones who called her in to get checked. Once he was told she had transferred somewhere else he immdiimmedi stopped looking and started questing her about who her doctor was and basically told her that she wasnt pregnant. Then after four minutes of not looking because her uterus was never showed on the screen he said he might have seen a sack. Ive had a child and can tell more of what a uterus looks like than him. As we were leaving I mentioned how rude he was and he told my sister he hopes her levels go down so it would match his ultra sound. So he actually told a pregnant woman he hopes she has miscarriage so it would match his findings. He was just upset she transferred in New York and not with him. Dr Meyers is a money hungry doctor who only cares about himself. I was so disgusted. Then the nurse asked my sister to choose her arm to get blood draw and after she choose the nurse still drew blood from the wrong arm. After that she didnt have the vile near her to take enough blood samples and when she got it back she dug the needle in my sisters arm. Her doctor she went to to get the transfer done in new york had to call and speak with them to get her results. they only care about money and themselves as a doctor who is in the business of helping people realize their pregnancy dreams they are so rude to their patients. I highly recommend going somwsomew else. Oh and when we called to speak to the office manager about the incident we were told by the doctor thats how the procedure goes he uses blood work not ultra sounds to confirm pregnancies and the blood work will prove that he results were correct. I did not know they were in business of Fortune relling.

For such a major decision in your life you dont want to trust any one else. The entire staff is caring and supportive. They will make sure all your questions are answered. They will walk you through each step and if you get nervous they will return your calls or emails promptly. The nurses and doctors are fantastic. They are very encouraging and treat you as like a friend not just another patient.

We had a wonderful experience with Carolina Conceptions. I am currently 3.5 months pregnant. We worked with Dr. Couchman and had a great experience. I would recommend Carolina Conceptions to anyone who is struggling with fertility.

We couldnt have had a better experience here. They worked around my schedule to conveniently schedule appointments so I wasnt constantly missing or late to work (this was great given the sensitivity of the subject). Dr. Meyer, Dr. Park and Dr. Couchman were all pleasant, professional and just comforting to work with. They made the process easy and now we have a beautiful 15 mo old daughter!

Dr. Meyer, Dr. Park, Megan, and staff are wonderful! We conceived our IUI twins after our 2nd IUI. We love the care we received during and after our IUI. Definitely recommend!

How can I not give Carolina Conceptions 5-stars? I have a beautiful 8-week-old daughter because of their collaborative efforts! Now, dont get me wrong, was it an incredibly stressful process? Yes! Did I shed many-a-tear over the thought that I wouldnt be able to conceive a child on my own? Yes! Did I contemplate leaving the practice and looking elsewhere - just to start all over again with a different practice in hopes that they would have the secret potion to help me conceive? Yes! However, I had chosen Carolina Conceptions for a reason...they were the best - at least from my point-of-view. I had done extensive research and met with varying doctors throughout the greater Raleigh area (heck, I even had an appointment setup in Colorado!), but CCs credentials and success stories (not to mention proximity) kept drawing me in...so there I landed and there I stayed. How could I not have...with all of the beautiful pictures of babies and young children mounted onto the walls of their foyer, hallways, etc? These success stories helped me keep my faith that I, too, would have a success story to share. So, here I am, blessed with a beautiful, healthy and happy baby girl whose middle name just happens to be Faith.So, our story? Well, Ill keep it short and sweet. My husband and I were in our late 20s when we tried conceiving a child on our own. Well, after 2+ years of trying to conceive, I began my search for a fertility speciality and, like I noted, found Carolina Conceptions. So, after 12+ months of trying this-and-that (unsuccessfully) at CC, we bit the bullet and signed on for IVF. The first fresh cycle was unsuccessful and I was crushed, of course, but began the prep as soon as I could for a frozen cycle. We put in two embryos and one sustained itself - hence our beautiful little girl!Now, is IVF expensive? Yes, it is. Heck, Im a school teacher, but it was worth EVERY penny! The doctors are amazingly gifted at what they do and all bring a different element to the table - and all were welcomed - because, at the end of the day, they were the experts. My diagnosis of unexplained fertility can remain a mystery because I have a daughter to call my own and will, with the help of CC, will hopefully have another.I chose Carolina Conceptions because I believed they were the best and theyve proven they are. Like I said, its not an easy process, but hold onto your Faith - I did. :)

My husband and I used CC almost 15 years ago. We were promised the moon but given no real guidance about the journey. We did 3 cycles. We were promised our money back but did not get it because our third cycle was from our frozen embryos and not fresh. After two failed cycles we were pressured to do a third that was frozen. If we had read the fine print, we would have realized we had to do three fresh cycles to get our money back. After my third time, I was done. We were broken-hearted and broke. I would not recommend this group. They are in it for the money.

Carolina Conceptions treats you as part of a family. They answer all the questions you could think of and leave no trace of doubt. They made my spouse feel as much a part of the process as they could! We only went through them once with success! If we decide to have more children they will definitely be who we go to. They make such a stressful time very simple!

We had tried for a long and hard 4 years before finally admitting that it was time to seek help in getting pregnant. My obgyn referred me to Carolina Conceptions where I saw Dr. Couchman. She was encouraging and listened to all of my concerns. I had always suspected that I had endometriosis because my periods were so painful, but none of my gynecologists seemed to think there was a problem. After undergoing tests to find out that I was ovulating perfectly and my hormones were just right, Dr. Couchman suggested a laparoscopy to determine if I in fact had endometriosis. I had the surgery last June and sure enough, I had endo - pretty bad. She came and told my family while I was recovering that I would get pregnant one way or another. I had to take progesterone for almost two months afterwards to clear up the smaller lesions from the endo and then we were free to try naturally on our own for a few months before starting fertility drugs. Thankfully I didnt even have to go on the drugs. We found out in November (the month before I was supposed to start the drugs) that I was pregnant! After 5 years at this point of trying, it was unbelievable! We are so thankful to the Lord for bringing us to Carolina Conceptions and how He used Dr Couchman to find the problem for my pain and infertility. Thank you Dr. Couchman and Carolina Conceptions! I am now heading into my 2nd trimester of pregnancy!

Im pretty much in a rage as I write this right now, due to the incompetence, apathy, lies and just incredibly poor management on the part of Carolina Conceptions. I would expressly advise against using their services for anything. I would also say that one of the things that appealed to me initially was that they offered reduced rates for Veterans. I would like to advise my fellow Veterans to steer clear of this place, the same way you would of predatory used car dealerships.I use the VA for my medical care but because my wife has been stressing about us not getting pregnant and the VA has been taking forever to process my request to get a semen analysis, I elected to just go and pay to have it done myself without the referral from the VA. This was done in order to save time and alleviate stress on my wife.I setup my appointment and during the course of the conversation the guy asked me who was referring me. I EXPRESSLY told him that I did not have a referral. That I was paying out of my own pocket and did not want to get insurance involved. He told me that was fine. I arrived at the requested 30 minutes before my appointment in order to complete initial paperwork. Again, the guy at the front desk asked me for my referral form and I AGAIN explained the situation and that I did not have one. He made no mention at any point that this would be a problem. When my turn comes I provide the semen sample hand it in the lab window. The lady working the counter informs me that since I havent provided a referral, that they wont be able to tell me my results. Excuse me? First of all, why in the world would I undergo this process if there was no way I could get the results? Why is it no one thought to tell me this until after? She goes on to explain that legally they cant release my results to me unless I have a referral.It took me a little while to process this as I walked back out to reception to check out and pay. I vented a little bit about the situation to the receptionist and his only response was to stare at me blankly. He made no attempt to apologize for the confusion or help resolve the situation. On the ride home I called my wife who pretty much broke down into tears (great job on helping alleviate that stress CC). Upon arriving at home I learned that she had consulted with a friend who works as a receptionist in a doctors office who told her that, by law, they CANT withhold test results from me, even if I havent paid (which, by the way, I had).I call them back up and work my way through their phone tree to finally get a hold of the same guy in reception. He again makes no attempt at apology initially and it is only AFTER I ask to speak with someone higher up that he offers one. Finally Im put through to the manager. After explaining the situation she again reiterates that they are legally required to withhold my results. At this point I have the federal health and human services website pulled up and I start citing the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment, which expressly states that they are required to provide my test results. Her response to THAT was that they were not a certified lab, and thus werent obligated to do so.What? You arent a certified lab? Thats very interesting to learn, I wonder how many of your clients are under the impression you are. And secondly, because you ARENT certified the law REQUIRES you to withhold my results? Why? Because they arent accurate? She failed to provide any sort of reference to an actual law stating this. In addition her attitude and general tone were less than conciliatory.I just got off the phone with the VA which has promised to look into the matter, was extremely understanding and also confirmed that they knew of no law that required the withholding of lab results. So congratulations Carolina Conceptions, you are literally worse than the VA.

Do not recommend by any means, I had a horrible experience from the time I stepped in the door and should’ve gone with my gut and left before money was exchanged. Ended up not having anything to transfer they said (pretty sure my transfer was done past the 36 hour mark) and the doctor was just so rude and had no bedside manner what so ever. You’d think they’d have more compassion in the field but I was treated that day as a number who had given them money which wasn’t easy and I have no coverage for ivf.

No words are enough to explain how wonderful they are.We were always greeted by Stephen on the front desk and he always had a big smile,he remembered us by name.All the Drs and staff are wonderful and really care.Now we are blessed with a 8 months boy and were planning to return if things didnt work natrurally.Thank you Carolina conceptions.

Up until our initial appointment with Carolina Conceptions, we were very happy with how courteous and professional the administrative and medical assistant staff were. They were all very kind and helpful.However, during out initial meeting with Dr. Couchman, she told my wife that she needed to lose weight; 10-15 lbs specifically. After admitting that this is not necessary to get pregnant and is her personal opinion, she proceeded to belabor restriction of calories and sugar without asking my wife about her current nutrition intake. Additionally, she inquired about previous weight loss attempts and “successes”. My wife told her that she worked in eating disorder treatment and did not believe that there are good or bad foods. She expressed that she believes in dietician supervised moderation and meal planning. Dr. Couchman promptly disregarded this statement and continued to tell us that you should not consume any sugar before or during pregnancy as “you don’t need it”. She further belittled my wife by saying that “whenever you think about sugar, think about getting pregnant instead.” She asked my wife if she exercises and my wife responded that she does twice a week. Dr. Couchman then said that she needed to just go for walks and get fresh air without inquiring about the type and intensity of my wife’s current work-out regimen.My wife was horribly upset on both a professional and personal level. She ended up leaving the office in tears.We understand that Dr. Couchman wants to give all of her clients every opportunity to get pregnant, but creating an unhealthy relationship with food and a woman’s body image before pregnancy is not how we want to bring our baby into the world.

This place is the worst fertility clinic. We were treated like just a number and rushed through the expensive consultation. They would not even answer any of our questions. It was more like speaking to a lawyer than it was a doctor.The real point of frustration is when we were doing our consultation with finance we asked okay how much will this be? Finance person got up and we could hear her talking smack about us in the hallway to another employee criticizing for us for asking the cost instead of just starting.Edit: and the vague generic reply is exactly what i am taking about with this place. We did spend $1,000 in tests alone and each bill was a surprise since they would CRITICIZE IS EVERY TIME WE WOULD ASK ANY QUESTIONS!!! A MEDICAL PLACE THAT DOES NOT ALLOW ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE PATIENT SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN!UNC FERTILITY IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS PLACE COULD EVERY HOPE TO BE.

Very friendly staff. I saw Dr John Park and he was very informative, patient, nice, caring and a good listener. You didnt feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend him. Also, the staff before the doctor was very nice as well. Everyone was friendly.

Terrible experience. They diagnosed me with PCOS through email! Not only that they made this diagnosis without testing for pregnancy and well I was. The doctor was also a huge bully on wanting to have me go through a HSG test. My current OBGYN thinks I don’t even have PCOS because Carolina Conceptions made that diagnosis while I was pregnant and my hormone levels would be off. I obviously moved on to another more competent practice.

My appointment went great. It was my first visit Dr.Couchman was very nice and straight to working with us. I can’t tell she’s good with her and gets things done! We were very satisfied with our first appointment!

I was referred here by my provider after he felt it was nothing else he could do for me. The day after him giving me this horrible news I received a call from Nikki Duncan the practice manager who is EXTREMELY rude to schedule an appointment. Although my doctor had told me he spoke with Dr. Parks and they could get me in a week from the date they spoke, Nikki said that was incorrect. Because I was anxious to be see I scheduled with another provider for that following Monday. The next day my doctor called and said he was confused and call back and see what was going on because I should be seeing Dr. Parks. When I spoke to Nikki the second time she was rude again and this time hung up on me when I called her out on it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going through infertility to go here if they have to deal with it in their personal lives and then deal with service like this. Hopefully they will talk with Nikki and help her fix her attitude.

Absolutely disgrace this establishment. Nurses are rude just for asking questions. Spoke to Nikki the office manager and she took up for nurses. They need to be more caring about their patients. It’s hard enough what couples go through. I told Nikki that I called multiple times to nurse line and I finally get to speak to a nurse back end of business day Friday.

Very kind and professional! Listened to my needs and concerns and assured me, which is a HUGE plus in my book! Dr. Meyer was great and very personable! Would definitely recommend this office to my friends and family!

Kind, caring, and very considerate.Staff and doctors both were willing to help and answer even the simplest questions. When we sat down to discuss our options the doctor would not leave until we asked a question or two. She wanted to make sure we had everything that we needed....and were pregnant thanks to their wizardry!!

Dr. Couchman and all of the staff there are wonderful! They were all so helpful in walking us through the PGD and IVF process and any questions that were sent by email were always answered very promptly and the entire staff was extremely kind.I would highly recommend this practice.

Incredibly friendly team. As a young breast cancer survivor with a genetic mutation, they were helpful in talking us through the ways in which we might prevent passing the gene to our next generation. We left armed with information and options and look forward to working with them down the road.

Dr couchman was wonderful. Met with her to discuss iui and she took control of the ship. Her confidence in it being successful was so nice and I can’t wait to continue this relationship with her

Dr. Meyer is fantastic! He is to the point, and knows that youre here for one end result. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and funny. We most certainly recommend this practice, and especially recommend Dr. Meyer.

After initial consult, we had issues receiving responses from the office - no call backs and lack of email responses. We have made the decision to seek our needs elsewhere as this is a significant investment and the lack of communication isnt acceptable given this is a partnership for months to come.

Great experience and they actually listen and are prompt in helping you find the best path for your infertility journey. I am excited to see how things progress with them.
